Hockey AU Group-Write

So, as we all three know, we’re going to be doing a super fun Real World esque show with AU hockey players. There will be drinking, dancing, drama, and of course hook ups

So here are the three storylines everyone picked, I also put the guy, but if you want to change him do it, because there are oh-so-many options

KATE:
Beau Bennet: the quiet type but can get freaky behind closed doors/ The classic "good girl" whose looking to finally let her hair down

Teuvo Teravainen: the naive newbie who needs to be taught a thing or two/ The crazy girl who likes to party and likes to slut it up

Patrick Kane: gotta be the Kaner we all know and love/ The cynical bitch who sees right through his ego and bullshit pick up lines

MEG
Jeff Skinner: The adorkable awkward recently single and new to modern relationships guy/ The Lauren Conrad type - the girl who wants to build an empire based on the show's success.

Matt Duchene: A wannabe Barney from HIMYM aka the fail player/ The funny girl who acts nice to the other girls but just really can't stand their drama

Brendan Gallagher: the one who's drunk 24/7/ The world traveler / foreigner

ASHLEE
Teuvo Teravainen: The lovesick one/ The object of his affections, who likes somebody else

Justin Faulk: The egotistical jock / The comeback story (nerdy in HS, got super hot)

Sidney Crosby: The nice guy, gentleman/ The painfully honest one

What we need to do
-pick which storyline we want to do
-decide who our extra guy is
-decide story title
-decide show title
-decide posting order
-decide POV
-decide if we want to do separate or combined chapters
-decide if we want to do an outline or just kind of let stuff happen knowing how many total chapters we want

YAY! I'm so stoked

Oh my God I love everyone's story lines! I feel like whichever ones we choose are gonna be amazing! Also, Ashlee, I might change the Beau story line of mine... haven't decided yet. So many other players are coming to mind now that I didn't even think of before. Gah! This is gonna be so good.

I'm at work, but out of my three I want to do my first pairing. I'm off in two hours and can play around with banners!

I think our system of split chapters is working pretty well for FDF, so split gets my vote!

That's my favorite of yours to be honest my one concern with split chapters on this one is that the storylines don't really have to go together, and they're going to be SUPER long

I think I've decided on Beau but I think I wanna tweak or change the story line. I kind of want to do something where he is that laid back kind of California surfer type that he is. I just need to figure out my OC and the relationship between the two.

I can't wait to see your story line! I can imagine him all precious and awkward and I love it.

As for how we write the chapters - I guess I'm down for either. I can see Ashlee's point though and if we did write that way I'd have an adjustment period since I've never written that way but I'm flexible!

Alright. So I've decided on Beau. But I've thought it over and this is the general story line I've come up with now that I've had some time to give it proper attention.

Beau will be the laid back type. Not a care in the world. No thoughts for the future. Totally into the moment and the moment alone. He's the typical SoCal kid. My OC is going to be his complete opposite. Either city or farm raised without a clue the magic the beach can bring - the sun and sand and ocean. Very Type A personality. She has an affinity for lists and needs everything planned out weeks in advance. Obviously this will cause tension between the two. They will butt heads. They will argue. But over time they're going to find a balance and a friendship and more.

Alright, we've got Beau and Jeff and ???? I have a feeling this is going to take longer than the FDF banner to make

So what's the plan? Are they NHL or is this AU? Where's this house of there's going to be? I get the general premise of real world, but I've never seen a full episode. Are there going to be producers trying to egg on drama?

I'm so excited about all the potential of this!

Hahaha it's hard not to love Beau. That kid, just...

I'm not sure but I think Ashlee is leaning towards Justin. We'll have to see what her final word is.

As for the rest... Ashlee is the mastermind so I'm down with whatever she says, haha.

haha my only thing with Beau is he's a former Penticton Vee, when I worked in minor hockey, they were (and still are) our most hated rival. I left the team I worked for two years ago and still torment the girl who had my job for the Vees.

Haha understandable. Rivalries run deep. For me - Oshie seems like a lovely guy and I'm very happy that his baby girl is healthy and recovering from that birth defect but I still would love to see Toews (or any Hawk really) just deck him. Just lay him out on the ice.

Agreed, I want someone to absolutely level PK Subban, still holding a grudge for him slicing Staalsy in the playoffs and breaking his ironman streak four years ago.

There are some players that I just do not like though I cannot place a finger on why. Subban is one of those players. Even teams I'm loyal to tend to have at least one player I cannot stand. The Hawks are my babies but I really wish Bollig would just go dive off a cliff somewhere. He infuriates me.

I wish he would just fuck off and die. He bad mouths Flower, he questions the coach, he pulls stupid shit like that hit on Toews. He's such a dink he just needs to get traded to Florida or something.

But I totally get what you mean. Kesler, I'm not even a Canucks fan (Pens and Hawks woo woo!) and I hate the douchebag.

Oh God was I livid when Orpik hit Toews. I wanted his blood. But then people were like "we need to hit Crosby to get them back" and I just don't fucking get it. One: Crosby isn't the one who hit him so if you want to hurt anyone, hello, Orpik. Two: I will never understand the hate Crosby gets. The kid can play hockey like a God and he's like the sweetest, most genuine person ever.

I just hate Andrew Shaw's face. And I completely agree with Brooks Orpik

But anyway, I was thinking they could just have a mansion in CA or something, and the other people will cause drama more than the producers, but they can still mess with them in little ways.

And I think since we already have a cute/ nice guy I'm going to go with the Justin storyline

Shawzy... I have a love-hate relationship with him. Sometimes he can be brilliant. Most times he does something stupid and gets sent to the penalty box and I just want to punch him in the throat.

I'm definitely down for a mansion in CA since I think Beau should take my OC to the beach and show her what she's been missing.

How much are we gonna make this like Real World? Have them share bedrooms? Have them do little vignettes where they talk to the camera alone? God it's been so long since I've watched Real World I don't even know if they do that stuff anymore, hah.
