Family Ties

(So, I wasn't sure how to start this since I don't know the age difference between Hana and the others - so I wasn't sure if Kyoya knows her from previous interactions or if she'd be in Kimi's grade. I decided to just start it before school, either way, to make it semi-easier for us. xD I hope this is good enough, though!)

Kyoya stared blankly as his family's limo arrived to their school. Looking to his sister, he eyed her carefully, figuring she might be nervous for her first day. Shrugging the thought aside, he moved to get out of the limo. "Come along, Kimi. I have to show you to your classroom," he muttered as he watched her get out of the limo. He didn't wait around for her and shifted his bag on his shoulder before he began walking towards the school. Kimi was quick in tow with him, keeping pace with his long strides as she glanced around with curiosity.

"Is it fun here, Kyoya?" the girl asked with curiosity, turning her attention to her older brother as she tilted her head slightly, a slightly kitten-like gesture that made Kyoya sigh.

"I suppose you could say that," Kyoya said with a nod before he stopped at the room Kimi had been assigned to. "I'll come get you once school ends because you'll have to stick with me at the Host Club until it's time to go home. This is your classroom. Father expects you to be on your best behavior, understand?" The girl nodded slightly before glancing into the classroom. She hesitated for a moment before wandering inside.

Tamaki grinned ear to ear as he walked with his arm loosely over the shoulders of his younger sister. "Hana, you're going to love it here. The sights, the sounds, the smells, everything!"

The long, blonde haired, purple eyed girl laughed at her elder brother's dramatics. He'd warned her that the school was big, but she wasn't prepared for it anyway. Hana gasped as Tamaki walked her through the school and to her classroom. It looked like everyone in there was already well acquainted and even though Hana had friends in her overall class, she didn't see any of them in here. "T-Tamaki...?"

Tamaki's eyes softened at his little sister's nervousness, he pulled her in for a hug using his arm around her shoulder an the other tangled itself in the hair on her head. "You'll be okay, I heard Kyoya say his little sister is in this class, see if you can find her. Come find me after school at the Host Club, you and Kimi, Kyoya's sister, can hang out there okay?"

Hana felt the nervousness still flutter in her stomach, but she wasn't about to look weak and get picked on by her classmates. She quickly hugged her brother back before she pulled away with a determined smile, "Okay. I'll see you later Tamaki." With that, the siblings parted and Tamaki couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic, he turned back and instead of seeing his high school aged sister with free flowing long hair he saw his baby sister in pigtails walking away from him.

Kyoya turned his attention ahead as he made his way to his own classroom. It was going to be a long day, that was certain. Not just because his sister was now going to the school, but because he was certain the guests would have a field day with bothering both his sister and Tamaki's sister. It wasn't going to end well, he was certain, as the guests would likely question every aspect of their lives and try to figure out everything they could about the members that the girls knew. Shaking the thoughts and concerns from his head, he stepped into the classroom and moved to sit down.

Kimi chewed on her lip as she glanced around the classroom anxiously. She could tell that several people were staring at her with curiosity and she quickly cast her attention to the floor as she moved to an empty seat. It seemed like she wasn't the only one who was getting so much attention all of a sudden, either, since the students in the classroom were looking back and forth between her and Hana, likely having noticed who had brought them to the classroom. "This isn't going to be very fun," she muttered to herself.

Tamaki strolled into his class and found Kyoya with ease, "Hi Kyoya! I didn't see you dropping off Kimi, you must have gotten there before us." Tamaki slid into his chair and sighed with a smile on his face, "I can't believe they're in high school with us, Kyoya. Can you believe it? They're growing up..." Tamaki felt a little teary eyed and he knew he was being a little over dramatic but he couldn't help himself. Hana was his best friend and watching her grow made him feel both old and young because he got to grow up alongside her.

Hana instantly saw everyone look I her direction, back at a girl with long dark hair and then back. Hana figured that the other girl was Kimi so she confidently strode over but spoke in a timid voice as she faced the girl, "H-Hi, are you Kimi Ootori?" Hana extended her hand, "I'm Hana Suoh, Tamaki's sister." Hana felt awkward and a little stupid for not knowing anyone, but she figured that Kimi was her best shot, especially considering the two of them would be spending a lot of him together since their brothers were in the Host Club together.

"Don't start it, Tamaki," Kyoya said with a sigh as he rubbed his forehead. "You're always so emotional in the mornings... Or always, actually." He shook his head, turning his attention to his friend, though he frowned slightly. "They're not growing up, though. Regardless of if they're in high school with us or not, they're still our little sisters." He refused to think that just because their sisters were in high school with them now meant that things would change. "They're not growing up," he repeated before turning his attention ahead.

Kimi blinked a few times and nodded slightly, placing her hand in the other girl's and shaking it slightly. "Y-Yes, that's me," she said before she offered a kind smile. "It's nice to meet you, Hana." She said the name as if testing it on her tongue and forcing it into memory. "Tamaki's sister, then? I have a feeling we're going to have a bunch of trouble this year." Their brothers were pretty popular, from what Kyoya had told her, so that meant they'd probably have to deal with all the girls that went to the Host club.

Tamaki sighed louly and flung his arms out at his sides in a purpose attempt at beign over dramatic, "But they are Kyoya!" Tamaki frowned and turned a little serious, "I remember Hana playing in the mud with me and the neighborhood boys as a child..." He let out a soft chuckle at the memory. "She would pick up the worms on the pavement and put them back in the mud to try and save them... Now, instead of being one of the boys, she's in high school and they're looking at her." He frowned a little, looked down at his desktop and rested his hands there, unable to fathom the thought of his sister in the arms of a boy who was bound to crush her heart.

Hana smiled and nodded, taking the seat beside Kimi and settling herself, feeling more at ease. "Trouble has followed Tamaki since the day he was born, I'm sure," she laughed light heartedly. "But at least now I can laugh at him with someone who will see just how crazy he can get sometimes." Hana sighed, her brother was so funny that way. Tamaki never meant to get himself into trouble, but he always did anyway. The memory of Tamaki trying to help an old woman carry he groceries flashed in her mind. Her brother had gotten hold of the bags but as soon as the old woman had let go the handle on of them broke and her eggs had all been crushed. Tamaki had been mortified when the old woman then proceeded to chase him, waving her cane at him and calling him a menace.

Kyoya blinked and rolled his eyes. "Not Kimi," he said with a sigh. "Kimi's had her heart set on being a nurse ever since she knew what it was. Even now, she's still like that. She hasn't changed much. And I doubt any guy will look at her and actually get a reaction from her. She has a tendency to ignore the attention she may or may not get." He wasn't sure if it was because she was simply oblivious or because she wanted to concentrate on her studies to please their father, but he supposed it didn't matter either way. Kimi just hadn't changed one bit and he couldn't fathom any guy being stupid enough to try to get to Kimi when they knew she was his little sister.

Kimi smiled slightly and let out a sigh. "I wish Kyoya were more like that. He's so uptight," she said with a shrug as she leaned back in the seat. She could see that many of the girls were trying to eavesdrop on the conversation and she couldn't help but to frown at the thought. "It's kind of silly, how serious he can be, but it can get really frustrating and annoying." She could remember trying to get him to play doctor with her so many times when they were younger but, even then, he was always concentrated on their father, and she had to ask their older sister to play instead.

(Hey sorry, I took my so long, I completely forgot I had a lab report due tonight)

Tamaki raised his brows and his tone was completely curious as he asked, "She wants to be a nurse, huh? Not carry out the business part of your family's name?" Tamaki thought for a moment, "I don't think Hana's ever told me what she wants to be... I'm not sure she knows herself." He shrugged, he didn't really know what he wanted to be either and Tamaki was older by a few years so it didn't surprise him that the Suoh kids didn't know what they wanted to do.

Hana smiled at Kimi's wish and nodded to her following comment, "Sometimes serious isn't bad though. Tamaki's always so dramatic, whether he means to be or not and it can get a little..." Her voice trailed of as she tried to think of the right word to describe it. "A little hard to keep up with I guess you could say." She shrugged and leaned forward, resting her elbow on the desktop and her chin in her hand. "I honestly don't know how he has so many fan girls with all of his dramatics, but I guess that's something some people like?"Hna laughed a little, "I don't understand it in the least."

Kyoya nodded slightly as he listened to Tamaki's words before he let out a sigh. "No, she doesn't want to rely on the family name," he explained, "Plus she wants to help people." He shrugged a bit and leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes for a moment. "If you want to know what your sister wants to be or figure out if she knows what she wants at all, why not just ask?"

Kimi smiled slightly and shrugged to her words. "I think Kyoya's just too serious and uptight," she said with a sigh, shaking her head slightly. "I wish he would loosen up a bit." She honestly wondered if her brother would even manage to find something that really made him happy; she honestly hoped so.

Tamaki shrugged, "I hadn't thought too until now. I don't know what I want to do so I didn't put much thought into whether or not she did either." He sighed as their teacher came in, frankly he didn't feel like learning about anything except about what his little sister wanted to do with her life. "I really can't wait for the class part of school to end."

Hana smiled and with a lightly sarcastic tone she said, " I can't wait to meet him later, especially if he's so approachable." She then sighed though as the teacher walked in and addressed the new class. "Ah, but first we have to learn." She said learn the way some one would say Black Plague.

Kyoya shrugged slightly to his friend's words. "Most people don't even think about it until later in life," he admitted. His family didn't get that chance, though. Their decisions had to be made early in life so that they could spend their life aiming towards what they wanted. "If you say things like that too loudly, it might cause a few problems with the teachers." The teachers were very strict, after all, but the school in general was. The only reason they even had the host club was because Tamaki's father was in charge of the school.

Kimi couldn't help but to laugh at Hana's tone. Admittedly, Hana was an interesting person and Kimi easily relaxed despite the fact that they were both new and didn't know much about the school - aside from whatever their brothers had told them. "Learning's not so bad," she mused, "I just wish we didn't have to learn things that wouldn't really apply to us later in life." It wasn't like she was going to use much in her life, aside from medical training, but she wouldn't get the chance to learn that until after high school, unfortunately.

Tamaki sighed and agreed with Kyoya before the teach demanded silence and began the usual skit of introducing himself and getting everyone to try and get excited for a class most didn't want to be in. Hana acted just like her brother in her own class with the other Ootori student. She loved certain classes like music and art and physical education but ones where she was forced to sit still and take notes were torture on her.

Kyoya ran a hand through his hair as he sat in the host club room. They were preparing for the host club to open, but he was a little anxious to make sure that his and Tamaki's sister hadn't had too rough of a day. They would be welcomed into the room before the guests, since it was more of a necessity for the club. Despite that not all the club knew the two, they wanted to welcome them since they were Kyoya's and Tamaki's sisters.

Kimi chewed on her lip as she glanced around whilst she walked. Glancing to Hana, she offered a hesitant smile. "I'm not really looking forward to going to the club," she murmured honestly. She had been questioned about Kyoya quite a bit and she was a little worried about how the guests would react to her and Hana being around the club members so much. Sighing, she spotted the room Kyoya told her about and made her way towards it.

(Hey I just go an idea, though if you don't like it, it's okay. Rather than do what we did last time, what if we eliminate Renge's character and have the sisters be their co-managers?)

Tamaki straightened his deep violet shirt then dusted his pants, for whatever reason, he was a little nervous to have Hana see him like this. The Host Club was a large part of Tamaki's life that Hana hadn't seen yet, so he wanted her first impression, and Kyoya's sister's first impression, to be perfect. Today's theme was simple, he didn't want to confuse Hana or Kimi with the somewhat detailed costume choices they occasionally had. Today, all of them, even Haruhi were dressed up as some sort of prince. Tamaki, being the prince-type member of course was the most decked out, whereas Homey-sempai was dressed in pinks and cream colors, looking almost like a little girl's full size doll.

Hana slowed her pace a little at Kimi's statement, "Really, why not? I'm kind of excited, Tamaki loves the Host Club and now I finally get to see it." Hana's tone was light and excited but also concerned. Kimi had quickly become Hana's friend and she had a feeling that friendship was only going to grow because of their classes being together and their brothers both in the host club.

(Oh, that's totally fine with me! We didn't use Renge at all really in the last one anyways, so it would help with our plot, too. :3 )

Kyoya glanced around as he took notice of the others. He was dressed in delicate and royal blues, which he didn't particularly mind. The costume suited him well, despite that he wasn't a prince-type; he was still able to pull it off well. "Don't look so nervous, Tamaki," he mentioned quite casually to the blonde, eyeing him carefully, a slight amusement in his expression. "You'll scare your sister and mine away if you look too nervous. They'll think something's wrong."

"Well, the girls who seem to be obsessed with the club are a little frightening. I'm a little worried that they'll hate us for showing up because they might think we'll gain more attention from our brothers and such," Kimi explained as she stopped at the door. After a long moment, she offered a smile to her new friend before lightly knocking on the door.

Tamaki made a drowning face at his best friend and opened his mouth to retort but a soft know interrupted him. The cold pit I his stomach only grew colder and Tamaki's face fell. "They're here," he said softly. Tamaki obsessively straightened his clothes again and wiped at dust that wasn't there as Haruhi nonchalantly strode over to the door.

"They're just your sisters, right? I don't see the big deal here," she said bluntly before she opened the door and smiled at the two girls before her. "Hi, I'm Haruhi, you must be Hana and Kimi. Welcome, please come on in."

Hana smiled at the stunning, yet feminine looking boy before her, "Hello, Haruhi, it's very nice to meet you, I'm Hana." Tamaki had purposefully not told Hana which Host was what type to see if she could guess them all right. Hana silently guessed that Haruhi was the normal-type but she wasn't quite sure yet.

Kyoya straightened up at the sight of the girls entering the club room. He had met Hana before, but hadn't really known her too well. Even so, despite that it hadn't been too long since he had seen her, she had definitely grown. He could now understand why Tamaki had been so worried about her earlier; any guy would definitely turn their heads to the girl to catch even a glimpse of her features.

Kimi smiled slightly at the greeting and nodded slightly. "I'm Kimi. It's nice to meet you, Haruhi," she mused quietly. She could hear a few others greeting themselves as well and turned her attention to a pair of twins who introduced themselves as Hikaru and Kaoru.

"Try not to get us mixed up or we might just make you play our game!" the twins said in unison, chuckling quietly. "Gee, guys, you didn't tell us that your sisters were so attractive! That's not fair!"

Tamaki and Hana's faces both turned a similar shade of pink at the Hitachiin twins' comment and in the same tone of anger and embarrassment they said in unison, "That's enough." The siblings raised their brows at each other, a grin spread itself on Hana's face as she took in her brother's appearance.

"Wow, Tamaki, you look..." Hana burst into laughter. "Rediculous! What in earth are you wearing?"

Tamaki's face only turned a little darker at his sister, "The theme today is royalty!" At Hana's continued fit of giggles Tamaki cried out, "Stop laughing at me!"

Kimi turned her attention to her brother, blinking in surprise at the suit he was wearing. "You know, to be honest, with how uptight you are, I wouldn't have imagined you'd be one to get involved in this," she said honestly, though her tone was teasing as she grinned at the older Ootori.

"Shut up," Kyoya muttered with a roll of his eyes, though there wasn't any actual enforcement in his words. He was just a little surprised that Kimi was teasing him rather than lecturing him like their father would. Then again, Kimi had always told him to lighten up a bit, so he figured she was probably pleased with the sight of this side of him.
