“I didn’t insult you,” Kyoya muttered, finding it hard to come up with any other reaction to her words. As far as he was aware, he hadn’t said anything to insult her – though he knew as well as everybody that he wasn’t sure what insulted people and what didn’t. He was used to subtle jabs to people one disliked in the higher society, but he hadn’t even attempted such a thing when it came to Hana, so he was completely baffled by how she could accuse him of such a thing. Seeing how Ichirou basically succumbed to Hana’s kindness, though, brought about some feeling that Kyoya couldn’t identify and his frown deepened. “Fine. Do as you please. When you find that you’re overworking yourself, you can blame yourself.”
Kimi was utterly confused by the entire thing, eyeing her brother and her new friend quietly. She wasn’t sure what was going on or why her brother was throwing himself in the line of fire when it came to Hana’s business, to be quite honest. He rarely got involved in Kimi’s business unless it applied to boys, but he was her brother so she could understand why he would get involved in her matters. She couldn’t understand why he was getting involved with Hana’s when they were practically strangers. “U-Um, I think I’m just going to go into the classroom,” she decided quietly, nearly inaudible, before she slipped past the others to go to her seat.
