    I love yoga. I usually just look up yoga poses and things on Pintrest or Youtube and do them. I haven't been doing them lately because I keep forgetting but I need to get back into it. Such a great way to clear my mind and relax.

    I started yoga after I was diagnosed with kidney disease.

    I knew I needed a way to stay in shape that wouldn't have a traumatic impact on my body. What I didn't expect, was the psychological effect it would have. It helped me cope in ways I could have never imagined. It brings this awesome inner peace and I always feel so relaxed.

    Best decision I ever made.

    Oh! I am actually trying to get started; I am so in awe with the Ashtanga practice of yoga and would love to be able to master it... huge goal, I know. XD

    Obviously I am thinking of starting slow and easy. Any suggestions on how to get started?

    Sun salutation! Great start- when I haven't done yoga for a while I do at least 3 reps of SS 3 times and I can bend and touch my toes after 3 nights!

    Thank you so much for the reply!! I LOVE the Sun Salutation--- it's such a great and refreshing way to get the day started. It's just so energizing!

    It's kinda funny because I see all these professional yogis and they can do these beautiful stances (and hand stands!!) and I'm all awestruck; well, at least I know what my goals are, right? Cool

    Tell me about it! I don't have much strength in my arms but I can do all the bendy stuff with my legs :') can actually put them behind my head and hop on one foot! Would love to be able to do the upper body stands!
