The walls were a different color. That was the only reason why Atticus realized that she and Sadie were no longer in the motel room that they'd fallen asleep in the night before. And, though she'd witnessed some pretty strange things before in her life, this was definitely one to cause her slight alarm. She'd woken up maybe five minutes ago tops, and had tried to think of several possible different scenarios and logical explanations for this change in scenery but came up with zilch. "Sadie...Sadie, wake up!" She hissed, walking over and shaking the other brunette awake.
Dean grabbed the case of beer from the trunk of his Baby and headed back to the motel room that he and Sam were currently staying at. He'd grabbed a copy of the newspaper too, to look for some more cases, though he was sure that his brother could, and probably would, find more using one of those fancy gadgets of his. Not really a fancy gadget. Just a laptop really, though Dean wasn't really as into using all that stuff as Sam was. Hence why he left most of the research to him. It was just easier that way. Dean got bored way too easily and, because of that, shit would never get done if he was doing the research. "Find anything yet?" He asked as he walked into the motel room.

Sadie had been happily dreaming about being an awesome zombie killer and had nearly slaughtered a whole mob of them when she felt herself being shaken and her name being spoken out. Her eyes opened slightly, "I was killing zombies," she groaned out, "what's so important that you had to wake me up from being kickass?" Sadie rubbed her fingers over her eyes to get any of the sleepy stuff out before sitting up slightly. She didn't notice the different colour walls, or any other difference that the room could hold. Of course, she was practically still asleep. It only took her a moment longer to recognise the look on Atti's face and woke up a little more. "What?" she asked then, more serious.

The laptop's keys were worn down, the numbers and letters faded slightly from the oils in his fingertips and how often he used this. He was really surprised it lasted this long without being shot or something. Sam would have to see about getting a new one sometime. He had been on it all morning after listening to some stupid show on the tv about haunted places in the area, one name catching his attention. Usually these places turned out to not really be haunted and e expected when he looked up the place that wasn't too far from their motel to turn out that way with a billion and one fan made websites and maybe even something from those stupid GhostFacers or whatever. That wasn't the case. He didn't look up at all when Dean walked in. "Maybe, just a haunting not too far from here.

Atticus knew that Sadie was probably still half asleep, so she wasn't all that surprised that her friend hadn't noticed the obvious change in their surroundings. "I think that the zombies can wait a little while." She said. Right now, they had more important issues to deal with...like how the hell did they freaking end up here?! And where was here exactly?? "Do you notice anything different?" She asked, making a grand gesture towards the room. "Because I sure as hell do, and I'm kind of trying to think of a logical explanation without freaking the fuck out."
Dean set the case of beer down on the somewhat grimy looking table. He was used to staying in sketchy places like this. And, although he and Sam had the bunker now, and he'd gotten used to having his own room and the ability to have a home-cooked meal since for the first time in freaking forever they had an actual kitchen, but this was how he'd grown up. Places like this had almost always been like home, so he paid no mind to things that other people would. "How far is not too far from here?" He asked, tossing a bottle his brother's way before grabbing one for himself. He popped it open and took a sip.

It took a few moments for it to sink in. "The colour of the walls," she said, her voice soft, a little unsure. "They were blue, now they're yellow." That obviously didn't just happen over night. Especially if there were two people staying in the room at the time of the colour changing. "Where are we? You didn't like, move me while I was sleeping or something, did you?" she asked. Sadie threw back the covers and stood, not sure if she wanted to remain in the room any longer. Or maybe this was some dream. Some stupid dream that she would wake up from, hopefully soon.

"A few town's over, we could make it in a few hours. It's all just a bunch of spooky things going on, someone ought to look into it before someone gets hurt," Sam answered, catching the bottle Dean had tossed his way and opening it up. He took a good sip before setting it down on the table so he could close up his laptop. "Plus I haven't seen our friends of Ghost Facers post anything about it, so I doubt we'll run into them." Sam would really rather not. He wasn't too much a fan of them, who thought they knew anything and everything and clearly didn't.

"Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!" Atticus said, her words slightly sarcastic. What could she say? She was a tiny person whose main defense was sarcasm. That was just who she was. And she knew that Sadie was used to her sarcastic, and sometimes snarky, comments. Even when they weren't necessary in the slightest at times. "Yes, Sadie. I moved you into a completely different motel room in a completely different motel while you were asleep." She deadpanned. "Of course I didn't! I have no freaking clue where we are or how we got here."
Dean nodded. "Well, it doesn't look like there's much of anything else going on, so I guess we can check it out." He said. He didn't see why not. Sure, it might be a complete waste of time because it could very easily not be their sort of thing but, in retrospect, there was still a good chance that it was their sort of thing. And it wasn't like he'd found much of anything in the paper. There was nothing too out of the ordinary. Not around these parts at least. "Good. The last thing we need is to run into them again." He shook his head, getting a headache at the mere thought of running into those jerk-offs.

Sadie groaned at Atticus's sarcasm, mumbling something about it not being that necessary. She tried thinking of how this could happen, but figuring that Atticus had already thought of every explanation possible and deemed it wrong. She literally had no idea. No way was this possible. They were supposed to be investigating an old mental hospital tonight, but that didn't seem possible if they didn't know where they were. "Should we stay here? Go out and see where the fuck we are? What if we're on a different planet. Like aliens abducted us or something," she said, biting down on her lower lip. Aliens freaked her out - not the actual ghosts they hunt, but aliens that she believed in and yet had no scientific proof of existing.

It would be nice to go back to simpler times of vampires and ghosts, not angels and demons. And hell, if they did run into those stupid Ghost Facer kids again, then it would be okay. At least he thought so. "Want to head on out then? We could make it there in no time," he suggested. The earlier they got there, the sooner they could ask around town about the superstitions around the place before going in at night. Hell, even if they got all the information needed just by talking to the townsfolk, they could go and salt and burn the bones if it was that easy of a case.

Atticus didn't really even acknowledge her friend's mumbled comment. She knew that her sarcasm wasn't really necessary, but it kind of just came out sometimes without her really thinking twice about it. It was almost like not having a filter...except not really. "Unless this different planet looks a whole hell of a lot like Earth, I don't think we were abducted by aliens." She said. "I think we should try to at least figure out where we are though." She really hoped that they hadn't been abducted by aliens. That stuff freaked her out. She and Sadie had watched The Fourth Kind a while back and the movie had freaked her out beyond belief. She'd stick with hunting ghosts. Aliens just weren't her cup of tea.
Dean shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, I guess." He said. He didn't see why they couldn't head out now. The sooner they got there, the sooner they could start working on this case. If it even was a case. It could very easily not be the type of thing that they dealt with, but they wouldn't really know until they got there and assessed the situation and talked to some people in the town. He finished off the last of his beer, chucking the bottle into the small waste basket that was in the room before he and grabbed his bag, hoisting the strap over his shoulder.

Sadie nodded her head a little, "Lemme put pants on first," she said, "and can we see about maybe finding a coffee shop then?" If they were going to figure out where the fuck they were, she should at least be awake enough with the help of coffee, so she could comprehend things fully. The sooner they figured out where the hell they were, the sooner they could get back home and get everything straightened out. This was just too weird though. How could they just wake up in a completely different place? It wasn't like that was really normal or anything.

Sam finished off his beer after Dean did and tossed it into the trash. He made sure to put his laptop away before grabbing his own bag and heading out with his brother. He threw his bag into the back of the Impala before climbing into the passenger side. Dean never offered him to drive anymore. It was always like he would be okay having little to no sleep. It made Sam worry about his brother, but there was nothing that he could do about it, Dean would never listen to him anyway.

Atticus nodded. "Sure." She said, before thinking about it. "If there even is one." She wasn't sure how small this town they were in one. It seemed to quiet to be a big city, so that was why she was assuming that it was a small suburban town of sorts. She only hoped that it wasn't one that literally had one grocery story, an ice cream parlor, a post office, and a bank and that was it. That would really suck, because she relied on a nice cup of coffee as much as Sadie did. And, if they even wanted to start to try to figure out where the fuck they were, and how they'd gotten there in the first place, she definitely needed to get some caffeine into her system.
Dean had a reason for everything that he did. And, when he was dealing with shit, he wasn't usually the type of person to have a heart to heart with someone else. So, when he had issues that he was dealing with, he sort of just kept them all bottled up inside. And he knew that that sort of irked Sam a lot, but they were his problems. Not Sam's. And he wasn't going to sit down and talk about his problems like a bunch of girls or something. That just wasn't him at all. He threw his bag into the trunk of his Baby before slipping in on the driver's side and starting her up. Once Sam was in, he pealed out of the parking lot. "How far did you say this town was from here?"

After putting on a pair of ripped jeans and an old t-shit, Sadie looked to her friend, seeing if she was ready before heading out of their room. Nothing looked the same, the town they were in obviously wasn't the same one that they were in just last night. "Alright, time to figure out where we are and hope that we weren't abducted by aliens." Sadie still thought it was aliens, there was no other way to explain this. At least none that she could think of. "Um, I don't even know which way to go," she said, looking around. Which way would lead to the nearest coffee shop? That was all she wanted, just coffee, and then she could really worry about where they were and just how they were going to get home.

"Thirty minutes down the road, some place called Ariton," Sam answered, "there's a house in town that's haunted. What I've read online is that it seems something like a Lady in White kind of thing." They had dealt with that sort of thing before, always a bit of trouble, but they got it done eventually and mostly unharmed. Maybe they could stop adn get something to eat in the town, question a few of the residents before going onto the building.

"You're still on that whole alien thing?" Atticus shook her head as she walked out the door. It really didn't surprise her all that much. Sadie had something with aliens for some odd reason. "I highly doubt we were abducted by aliens, Sade. Looks to me like we're in the middle of bumfuck nowhere." It seemed to be a small town somewhere in Everywhere, USA. Why couldn't they end up in a major city like New York or Chicago, or maybe even London? Why did they end up here of all places? "When in doubt, go left." She said before heading in that direction. She hoped that they'd be able to find a decent coffee shop somewhere around here. "You know, I had a dream like this once. Except, instead of ended up in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, I ended up in Asgard and Loki wanted me to be his queen. It was pretty freaking awesome...this not so much."
"Well, lets go see if this is actually our kind of thing then." Dean said. He was all for working on another case. There didn't seem to be much of anything going on around this joint, and thirty minutes was nothing. Plus, if Sam was right and it was a Lady in White kind of thing, then it wouldn't be too difficult to deal with. Sure, it was kind of a pain in the ass, and they would run into some trouble, but it beat this angel and demon crap that they'd been dealing with lately. That all was kind of starting to give him a bit of a headache. This was more like what they used to deal with a few years back before everything kind of went awry.

"Yes, Atticus," Sadie said, as if it really was an obvious thing, "aliens are fucking weird and I wouldn't doubt it." She followed her friend in the general direction of 'left' down the street. "I wouldn't mind that dream, you'd make me a princess or something cool, right?" Of course her friend would if the dream was actually reality. Just like in Sadie's zombie killing dream, she would make sure her friend would live through everything and kick ass alongside her. At least that was how it was going in her dream before she had been woken up in a completely different town, possibly a completely different state and country (maybe planet, but she still wasn't too sure about that one). "Hey, there's a diner up there, why not just stop for breakfast or something? At least they'll have coffee," Sadie suggested. That way they could get fed as well - if they were going to figure out what the fuck happened to them, then they should at least have a full stomach.

Sam nodded his head a little, figuring that they both would be glad to get away from the usual angels and demons that they bothered with now. He could only hope that there were other hunters more focused on these other cases of Lady in White and vampires than the demons all around. If not then he knew for sure that he and Dean would end up getting the blame for it. It was nice to go back and hunt these kinds of things, so Sam kind of hoped that it would be their kind of thing. "Can we get breakfast first?" he asked.

"If we were abducted by aliens, we would have ended up in the middle of some field. Not Everywhere, USA." Atticus argued. She wasn't buying this whole alien theory that her friend seemed to be so set on. Not without some sort of proof. Partially because aliens freaked her out, and she wasn't about to believe some theory that would most likely freak her out even more, and partially because well, aliens was just sort of where she drew the line. "Of course. There's no way I'd rule Asgard without you there." She grinned. "Plus, I'm sure we could figure out a way to get that Jane girl out of the picture so that you could have Thor all to yourself." She shook her head. "Damn. Now I'm really wishing we ended up in Asgard." She let out a quiet laugh. "Now that you mention it, I could really go for some breakfast."
Dean was glad to get away from all of the demons and angels crap that he and Sam had been dealing with lately. A simple, well he didn't know if simple was the word, case involving a Lady in White or vampires or a vengeful spirit was something that he'd take any day of the week over dealing with those dicks. And he figured that it would nice to go back to how things had been before the shit hit the fan, for a little while anyway. "You and I both know that I never turn down breakfast, Sammy." He said, using the nickname that he still insisted on calling his brother despite his obvious dislike for it. He was the older brother. It was his job to piss off Sam every once and a while.

"Really? And I'd have Thor all to myself? Yum," Sadie laughed. There was just something about a man with muscles and godly powers that had her attracted to them. Atticus always seemed to go for the bad guys, yeah, they were attractive, just not quite her thing. Sadie grinned when she saw a little ma and pa looking restaurant ahead of them and dragged her friend into it. Sitting down at a table, she opened a menu, looking it over. "Okay, so if it isn't aliens, then what other logical explanation is there? Not that aliens is exactly logical, but it's the only one that I can think of and makes kinda sense." Sadie pursed her lips, trying to decide on something, something with bacon and lots of it.

Sam rolled his eyes a little when he was called 'Sammy', he really ought to be used to it by now, being called Sammy. He grew up with the nickname, but it always sounded just a little off anymore. It wasn't just some innocent nickname, it was a reminder that he wasn't small and defenseless or really all that good anymore. He will always be at least kind of bad, and he would always know that. Sam glanced over to his brother. "First restaurant we find then?" he asked, figuring that that's how things usually went anyway.

Atticus laughed. "And if we couldn't get Jane out of the picture, there's always one of the other Avengers...I wouldn't mind having a super soldier of my own..." She said, a slight grin on her face. "I really wouldn't complain about dating any of those men though, so I guess my opinion might be a bit biased." She laughed again. The producers for all of those movies really needed to get less attractive men. Of course, Atticus kind of had a thing for the bad guys...Loki, Harry Osborne. Name the villain and she probably found them attractive. There was just something about them that was kind of a major turn on for her. "Worm hole? Time machine? I don't know. I really don't think any of the explanations are going to be logical ones." She sighed, a slight frown on her face as her friend dragged her into the little restaurant. "I'm freaking starving."
Dean didn't even have to look at his brother to know that he'd rolled his eyes in response to the use of the nickname. It was the usual reaction he got out of his brother. He knew that Sam didn't like the nickname, he never really had, and he'd told Dean on numerous occasions that it reminded him of some chubby little kid, but that didn't stop Dean from using it. What kind of an older brother would he be if he wasn't at least a little bit of a pain in the ass? "Sounds like a plan." He said as he drove further into the town. There had to be a diner of sorts somewhere around here. There always was.

"Mm, or if for some reason we couldn't, then I'm sure we could get MJ out of the picture with Spiderman, right? Maybe Gwen Stacy if we're lucky. But they seem pretty attached at the hip to me," Sadie pouted a little. Spiderman had always been her favourite of the Marvel-verse. Sure, Cap was cool, and Thor was just hunky, but the sassy guy in spandex was her favourite. She nodded her head though in agreement; she was starving. It felt like she hadn't eaten in days. "Okay, we have worm hole, time machine, wait, time machine, like Doctor Who? How the fuck would that make sense. Wouldn't we remember it? It's not like someone can move us without at least one of us waking up from it." What else could it be? "Maybe we pissed off some supernatural entity and they sent us somewhere. Is that even possible?" A waitress stopped by to ask what they would like to drink, Sadie told her chocolate milk.

Sam patted his stomach a little, looking around as they drove through the town, trying to spot some place to eat. "Hey, there's one," he said, pointing it out. It was the first one he saw, and he didn't think Dean would ever complain about food, he had never heard it happen and didn't think it would ever start. He would just be happy for food. Just like how Sam was right now. His stomach was grumbling and all he wanted to do was eat.

"Oh yeah, of course. We could probably get them both out of the picture and then you could have Spidey all to yourself...though I suppose you're right. They were pretty attached at the hip...we'd figure something out though. I'm sure of it." Atticus said, a slight grin on her face. She knew that Spiderman was her friend's favorite of the Marvel-verse. Just like Sadie knew how she was partial to a certain assassin with a metal arm. They'd had some pretty in-depth discussions about stuff like this. What else were they supposed to talk about on long car rides? The weather? Yeah right. "I don't know. I'm just throwing things out there...we could have been drugged? Though I'm pretty sure that they would have taken something from us if that were the case." She sighed. She was really starting to get a headache. None of this made any sense whatsoever. "I don't know...I guess anything's possible. Though I still wish we'd been sent to Asgard instead of the middle of bumfuck nowhere." She grumbled moments before a waitress came by their table to get their drink orders. Atticus ordered a cup of coffee.
Dean spotted the little diner-esque restaurant moments before his brother pointed it out. It seemed promising enough. Of course, Dean wasn't exactly a picky eater. If the place served burgers and pie, he was happy. And he could really go for a piece of pie right about now. He didn't care if it was early in the morning. He'd get a damn piece of pie if he wanted one. "I wonder if the pie's any good here..." He said as he parked his baby in a vacant spot in the lot.

"Hm, think when we figure out what the fuck is going on we could see the new X-Men movie?" Sadie asked. She had been dying to see it, and it seemed okay that if once everything was all figured out that they could see it then. "Drugged could kinda work. I mean we were out last night, but why would they just move us entirely and have us wake up unguarded?" Maybe they should just eat first, maybe that'll just make it all better and they could think more. "Asgard would have been more fun," Sadie sighed, taking a ponytail from her wrist and pulling her hair into a messy bun, tired of it falling into her face.

Sam shook his head a little when Dean mentioned pie. "I guess we'll find out." Sam kind of hoped that it was good because if it wasn't then Sam would hear about it for days about how shitty of pie that it was. He stepped out of the car, stretching out his limbs a little. He still managed to get all cramped up in the car no matter how short of a drive it could be. He was too tall for anything anymore. "I want pancakes," he murmured, heading over to the restaurant.

"You know I won't turn down a Marvel movie." Atticus said, a slight grin tugging at the corners of her lips. Of course, they needed to figure out what was going on first. Neither of them knew how they had gotten here, and none of the scenarios they were coming up with seemed to fit the bill. It was honestly getting to be a bit frustrating. She just wanted to figure out what the fuck was going on and how they'd ended up in the middle of nowhere. "Nothing seems to really make total sense...maybe we should eat first...our minds might be clearer then." She sighed.
Dean nodded. He sure did hope the pie was good. He hated when he got all hyped up over getting a nice slice of pie, because when the thought came to mind, he kind of didn't get it out, and it would just freaking suck if it was terrible. He didn't know how people screwed up baking a pie. It seemed simple enough, granted, he had never actually tried making one himself, but that was besides the point. "Anything sounds good right about now." He said as he followed his brother into the restaurant.
