"The walls were a different color." Atticus said almost immediately. "That's how I knew something was off. The walls were blue when we went to sleep last night, and when we woke up, they were yellow." She punctuated her words with a shrug of her shoulders. Of course, she'd figured there was something weird going on, but not ending up in a TV show universe kind of weird. "Everything was fine yesterday too. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. Not that I can remember anyway."

Dean could tell that Sadie still really wasn't all that convinced. He guessed he didn't blame her, though her words did get his attention. What weird shit did the two of them deal with on a daily basis that would make this at least somewhat possible in her eyes? "Define weird." He said to her, wondering what exactly she had meant by that. Atti was saying nothing weird had happened yesterday, but maybe it only seemed that way because they were used to dealing with weird things.

Sadie nodded her head along with that Atticus said. "I don't remember anything weird. I mean, there was that cute cat at the pet store you wouldn't let me get, but I don't think that counts. Oh, and the last job we were at, we were told that some strange shit was going to happen, but again, I don't think that counts. Can never trust a psychic." Sadie had a thing against them. Mostly because when she was sixteen she went to one and she had been told that she would be very wealthy by her age now, and guess who wasn't a billionaire? That's right: Sadie.

"You now, psychics aren't that bad. Dean and I knew a good one, never let us down," Sam pointed out, hearing the obvious distaste for psychics in Sadie's voice. Even if Sam and Dean knew one, maybe two good psychics, didn't mean that the others were all good, because they weren't. They knew that well. But Sam couldn't tell if the girl was joking or not about that happening to them.

"That's because it doesn't count. You try to convince me to let you get a cat every time you drag me into a pet store. News flash: we don't have any pets." Atticus said. Though she was sure that Sam and Dean couldn't tell if Sadie was being serious or not, Atti knew that she was. Ever since that woman told her she'd become a billionaire, and it didn't happen, she'd had a grudge against any, and all, psychics. "And you only say that because that one woman told you that you'd be rich. She obviously wasn't a real psychic. She told Nicole Johnson that she would continue to break hearts. The girl hadn't had never had a boyfriend, let alone been kissed by one."

Dean nodded. "Sam's right. Not all psychics are frauds. The one we know is the real deal." He said. "And it sounds like the one you talked to the other day was too." He was assuming that that was the case anyway. It was the only thing that seemed even slightly out of the ordinary. Of course, he really still didn't know what the girls dealt with on a daily basis. He didn't really know much about them other than their names, the fact that Atticus was a fan of the "TV show" he and Sam were on, and that they were from another dimension where his and Sam's lives were documented on a TV show. That wasn't really much information to go on.

"We could have so owned a cat, they're very supernaturally gifted could help us, yunno, like Scooby Doo or something," Sadie pouted, having really wanted a cat to come along with them. It would be so cute. They could have gotten it a little collar saying that it was a special agent or something. "And Nicole Johnson had the potential to break hearts, we don't get much if any gratitude for what we do, nevermind being paid for it. It's like, a hobby for mildly interested teenagers playing with ouija boards in a horror movie." She looked to Dean, "I still don't trust psychics."

Sam could recall many accounts where Pamela had helped Dean and him on cases, before leading to her unfortunate death. "What do you two do, anyway? It sounds like it might be in our line of business," he asked, curious. Just as long as they didn't work for the equivalent GhostFacers of their world, it would be okay. It just sounded like they really knew weird, and usually you had to hunt stuff to know that.

"I know that they're supernaturally gifted, but that doesn't change anything. We're not getting a cat, Sadie." Atticus said, shooting a look her friend's way. "I'm pretty sure we have bigger things to worry about right now other than cats and whether or not we should trust psychics anyway." Like figuring out how the hell they were going to get home and if that was even possible. It had to be though, right? If they could get here, they could get home. It wouldn't make sense if they couldn't. "I guess you could say that...we, uh, have this website where we post up weekly vlogs. And they usually involve us pursuing the paranormal." She had a feeling that she knew exactly what they'd be thinking as soon as she told them that: they were like the GhostFacers of their world or something like that.

Dean watched as the two girls argued, only listening because, like his brother had voiced, it sounded like they were familiar with their line of work. It would explain why neither of them seemed to think that anything strange or out of the ordinary had happened to them in the days prior to them ending up here. "You pursue the paranormal?" He repeated slowly, stealing a glance over to his brother for a moment. He had a feeling that Sam was thinking the same exact thing that he was.

"We'll get a cat someday, I'll make sure if it," Sadie muttered, knowing that it would eventually happen someday. She would just keep begging and begging until it happened. "Yeah, started out just ghost hunting when we were like thirteen, fourteen, and somewhere along the way we ran into the other things that go bump into the night. Mostly ghosties, though, I don't think we're that prepared for anything else, really," she explained, not understanding the potential stigma there was behind that. Sure, it was a thankless job that they didn't get paid for, and could sometimes have run ins with the police, but that was that. "Do you think our equipment was transported along with us? It might be a good idea to record this whole experience to prove we aren't crazy when we wake up back home, and well, to put it on the web."

Sam couldn't help a little laugh at their arguing of getting (or the not doing so) a cat. But once the subject of ghost hunting, as Sadie called it, emerged, he could only look to Dean. This wouldn't end up too well. They had the GhostFacers, and they were enough to handle when they did. "You've seen our life, right?" He looked to Atticus, "pursuing the paranormal like uh, GhostFacers?" Gods he hoped not.

Atticus simply rolled her eyes. She didn't see the argument going much of anywhere else, so she just decided to drop it altogether. Sadie was still going to try to convince her to let them get a cat no matter what she said, and she honestly didn't know why she bothered arguing with her sometimes. The more she listened to what Sadie was saying about what they did, the more she realized that it sounded like they were a lot like the GhostFacers. She'd never given it much thought before now or else she probably would have realized that sooner. "It was all kind of just for fun at first. We were both curious and a little bored one day, so we decided to give it a shot." She punctuated her words with a shrug of her shoulders. "I don't remember seeing it back at the motel room, but we can check back later." She glanced over to Sam when he spoke, already knowing where he was going with this before he actually came out and said it. "Well, uh, I guess so?"

Of all the people he and Sam could have decided to help out...that was the first thing that came to mind right now for Dean. The more the girls told them about what they did for a living, the more they sounded like the freaking GhostFacers. This was just great. Wonderful even. When Sadie started talking to Atti about getting their equipment so that they could film this, he knew that he had to intervene. "Woah, woah, woah. No one's recording anything." He said.

They were going to get a cat. Sadie would make sure of it. They needed one around anyway - it was lonely on the road when you knew everything about the person you were travelling with sometimes. The thought of where the kitten (now decided that they would have to get a kitten or else they would miss out on the whole experience of owning a cat) would go if anything would happen to them. Or the fact that if they got one in this dimension if it would travel with them back to their world, that is, if they ever got back to their world. "No recording? But how else are we supposed to prove that we time travelled or jumped parallels or something if we don't record? Promise not to get all up in your face. That is, if you're a good sport about it and if we even have a single camera in our room. They were expensive too," she said, looking to Dean. There was no way she could let him be a spoils sport if she was able to do anything about it, even if it meant pulling the puppy dog eyes that usually got her way, maybe throw in a pout if needed.

Sam couldn't help an audible groan. They had had too many encounters gone wrong with the GhostFacers, that this couldn't go well. They had to try though. "Alright, you've got to promise no amateur tricks, and no recording. Beauty queen over here doesn't do well with cameras on him," he said, trying to back his brother up. There was no way that he was getting into this crazy almost GhostFacers thing again. They were too much trouble, and would be avoided at all costs. "You'll do what we say, when we say it." He would go to the extreme of saying that there would be no dying involved if Sam and Dean were listened to.

Atticus was sure that Sadie was trying to think of ways she could convince her to let them get a cat, but it wasn't happening. At least, she told herself that now anyway. They had more important things to worry about right now. Like figuring out how the hell they were supposed to get back to the right freaking dimension. That was definitely at the top of her list of priorities considering the fact that neither of them seemed to know how they'd even gotten here in the first place. "Sadie, maybe it would be best if we didn't record any of this..." She said, able to tell that neither of the brothers liked the idea at all.

"That's the point. You're not documenting any of this." Dean said. He didn't know why she'd want to anyway. He doubted that people in their dimension would think it had actually happened. If for some odd reason they did, it would cause a hell of a lot of trouble though. He was sure of it. "Beauty Queen? Really, Sam?" He shot his brother a look before looking back to the girls. "If you want our help, you'll follow our rules."

Sadie was shocked to see that her best friend was siding with the two guys they had just met in this weird alternative universe. This was unbelievable. The whole other dimension thing was tough enough to even consider believing but somehow did anyway, but now this? No recording? Sadie opened her mouth to say something but shut it soon after, her lips turning into a pout. "Can we get a kitten then since I can't record this? Add it to the list of unbelievable things happening today?" she asked then, thinking it seemed fair. She already had plenty of names picked out for it, the leading name being Scout. She thought it was cute, like the little fella was scouting for spirits. Sadie thought better than to tell them that, it would probably make the guys a little more annoyed at a pun like that. They at least seemed kind of fun on the very few episodes of their show they had seen. Now they didn't. All work and no play.

"At least you aren't a dancing queen," Sam shrugged a little. They were right though, the girls needed to follow their rules and if one of those rules happens to be no recording, then that was that. They just didn't have good times with people recording things. It never ended well. Now, they just needed to get in contact with Castiel, which Dean would have to do. Cas never really seemed to like Sam, not that he could blame the angel, he was Lucifer's vessel afterall.

Atticus knew that Sadie probably hadn't expected her to side with the guys. She just wanted to get home though, and the best way for them to do so was by getting some assistance from Sam and Dean who obviously weren't going to help if they shoved a camera in their faces. "Why should we add to that list?" She asked, still not understanding why her friend wanted a cat so bad. It seemed like she'd never stop bringing that up.

Dean shrugged. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said. His brother did make some good points sometimes, not that he'd ever always actually admit to that fact or anything. Only once and a while. That was it. He glanced back over to the girls, glad that the one ended up siding with him and Sam. If she hadn't, she doubted that it would be all that easy to convince the other. "No cats either." He said, shooting a look her way. "Now that that's settled, why don't we head back to the motel." He'd get in contact with Cas there, and hopefully he'd be able to help them.

"Why does no one want a kitten? Can't anyone see how it could possibly help us?" Sadie groaned, but had already decided that her reward for listening to these stupid rules would be to get a cat as soon as they got back home. She was done waiting for Atticus to agree to her shenanigans, and there wasn't much the girl could do if Sadie just so happened to bring a little furry creature home one day. She bit back a comment about being told not to go home with strangers because her mother had told her so, figuring no one would find that even slightly funny. She pouted more when Dean had given her a look, as if Sadie, of all people, was going to be the troublesome one in this situation.

Sam felt a little smug that his brother had told him he was right. It didn't happen often. When it was decided to head back to the motel, probably so Dean could get ahold of Cas, Sam stood and waited for the girls to get out. "I mean there's no cats back there, but it'll do for what we need," he said, looking to the disappointed Sadie.

"I'm pretty sure you're alone on that one, Sadie." Atticus said as she got out of the booth. She knew that her friend wasn't going to drop this issue though. She'd probably keep bringing it up, just as she had been doing for a while now, hoping that eventually Atticus would just get tired of hearing her, and let them get a cat. She really didn't know what had given her friend the idea in the first place.

Dean was surprised that Sam hadn't made a comment, seeing as he'd actually told him he was right, but he wasn't about to say anything about it. He hardly ever voiced it because he knew his brother got all smug whenever he did. He stood up, waiting for the girls, before heading out of the diner and across the parking lot to Baby. "I don't think that cats should be at the top of your list of priorities right now, but maybe that's just me."
