Vasilios glanced over to the other two Kings, seeing them both give him a small nod he turned his attention onto the brunette who was obviously nervous. "Then you won't mind if our soldiers keeping an eye on you, to make sure our city stays as it is" He announced not caring if they wanted to be left alone, if that was the case then they could leave the way they came.

"We will give you a guide to show you our city, however you did decide to come on a bad day" He glanced to Neleus knowing it was the day of his wedding and coronation, however that could easily be organised for another day that week even if that's what the King wanted.

Turning his eyes back onto the beautiful brunette, "I'd like names" If these people were going to be staying in Atlantis, he wanted to know their names and he was sure the other Kings did as well.

    -

Chloe watched closely as the Kings welcomed the strangers to Atlantis, she looked over the group that had arrived on her wedding day. He deep blue eyes stopped when they landed on the dark curly locks of one of the strange men, she'd admit that he was attractive but there was more to him than that. She'd even go as far as saying he was more handsome than the Kings all put together, she felt her heart increase in speed as butterflies went crazy in her stomach which is exactly how she should have felt yesterday when she met Neleus for the first time.

Stephanie listened to the King as he spoke, she could handle guards. They didn't bother her too much so she wasn't worried. "Not at all your Highness if that is what you want then we can comply." Stephanie suddenly felt terrible for arriving on a day one of the kings were to be wed and crowned. "We are terribly sorry..." she didn't get the chance to tell them to continue with the wonderful event before the King spoke again.

"Uh..." she stammered, "My name is Stephanie, Stephanie Malone, these are the rest of my crew." One by one the members listed off their names to the royal that stood before them.

    ~

Jacob stood in the crowd his eyes trained on the King before him, he didn't like him, nor did he trust him. However he couldn't say anything, standing silent until he said his name. Looking around he took in the crowd of natives that had formed around him. That was until he say the deepest pair of blue eyes he had ever seen. She was staring at him her light brown hair cascading down her back and a gentle smile spread across her face. He shot her a smile before turning his head back to the front where some of the crew were still rattling off their names.

    ~

Neleus stood listening to the new people as they listed off their names, some of them had the most peculiar names he had ever heard before. Pyro, Cricket what kind of names were these?

he turned his attention to King Vasilios waiting to see what would happen next. His eyes were trained on the brunette who stood out the front and instantly Neleus knew she was a conquest for him to conquer. He instantly felt sorry for the woman.

Vasilios really only listened when the brunette gave him her name, Stephanie Malone had such a nice ring to it. "Stephanie" He murmured to himself as her name rolled off his tongue nicely, she was the next woman that he wanted and he was going to get what he wanted.

He always got what he wanted and she wasn't going to be any different, "We shall organize places for you all to stay for your visit" announced ready to invite Stephanie to stay with him at his castle however he knew the Kings would have to talk it over first.

    -

Chloe smiled softly when the dark eyes of Jacob landed on her, she wasn't fully paying attention to what else was being said until he looked away from her. Knowing that she was to be married soon, she knew better than to be looking at any one other than Neleus though she couldn't help herself.

Feeling Drakon move closer to her it was obvious he had caught the stranger looking at her, but as she looked up at her friend her smile only widened when she saw where and who his blue eyes had fallen. His attention was fully on the main woman who was speaking, Stephanie, she thought she had heard her say was her name.

Jacob was instantly relieved when the King turned and began to walk off. He assumed the four kings would have to talk about what would happen with all of them. He prayed that they didn't have to stay at his castle, he would rather sleep on a rock then have to deal with him and his wandering eyes. Stephanie may not have picked up on it but Jacob did, he knew the royal wanted his best friend as soon as he laid eyes on her. There was no way in hell Jacob was going to let that happen. The brown haired male didn't trust that king as far as he could throw him... by the looks of it it wouldn't have been very far. Jacob's lip curled in disgust at the way he took one last wandering look at Stephanie, as if he was sizing her up for something, before he walked off taking a large portion of the crowd with him.
Looking to the front his saw his friend and watched as she slumped forward like she had just let go of her breath, pushing through the group of crew members he walked up to her.

"You alright Steph?" he asked placing a hand on her shoulder. The brown haired woman looked up slowly nodding her head, she was breathing hard though.

"He gives me the creeps," she stated in a slight whisper causing Jacob to crack a small smile and nod his head.

"Agreed... so what now do we just stand here and wait or what?" Stephanie straightened herself up and shrugged her shoulders not sure.

"Dunno." she stated truthfully looking around at the decreasing crowd. "Seems like it."

    ~

Neleus saw the way the young woman slumped forward slightly breathing deeply. The crowd was dispersing and the crowd of new comers looked lost. Quickly he scanned the crowd when he saw the woman and male from yesterday. Walking over to them he smiled at the brown haired woman.

"Hello again," he greeted warmly. "I have a favour to ask the two of you." the two looked each other before looking back at you. "The visitors, they need someone to show them around while the Kings and I talk about where they will stay. Could you do this for me? just show them around the markets and a few other places, just until nightfall then bring them back, hopefully by then we have an answer as to what we are going to do." Neleus waited patiently for their answers. When they nodded he smiled thanking them before walking off.

Drakon couldn't help but smile at how quickly Chloe nodded her head in agreement to what the royal was asking of them, he had been about to ask what he would be getting in return though he didn't get any time as Neleus walked away from them. "The things I do for you" He murmured to his best friend knowing he'd do absolutely anything for Chloe, his blue eyes moved onto the group of strangers who looked even more out of place now as they just stood there.

Walking over to them he cleared his throat, "I'm Drakon and this is Chloe, we will show you around" He announced in his loud booming voice, noticing he had gotten everyone's attention though he was more interested in getting to know and be around the one who called herself Stephanie. Turning around he started off with showing the group the closest market which happened to be the same market he shared the stall with Chloe, "This is our market. This goes on mostly everyday here, you can buy foods and little bits and pieces" He told the group of strangers.

    -

Chloe walked beside Drakon as they made their way through the market, looking back over her shoulder she made sure that everyone was still with them. It was easy to get lost in the city if you hadn't been born there, she didn't want to deal with losing one of the strangers and having to tell the Kings about that. "This city isn't anything special, I don't see why you'd risk your life coming here" She didn't understand it, sure she was curious about what was outside of Atlantis but she'd never actually leave her home.

"Was it difficult coming here?" She wanted to know, she couldn't imagine what it was like or what they had to go through to find the city. She had no idea how they even found out about Atlantis, this was the first time that strangers had arrived.

Stephanie was caught off guard when she heard a loud, booming voice calling over the crew. Each member turned their heads to look at a young blonde haired male that was standing before then. He wore a bright smile when he spoke, beside him stood a woman about the same age. She had brown hair that cascaded down her back in light waves. He introduced himself as Drakon and the woman as Chloe. The crew began to follow the blonde as he walked them away from where they had just been greeted. Drakon showed them the local markets telling. Stephanie looked at the stalls a smile spreading across her face at all the different foods and jewelry that decorated the tables.

    ~

Jacob walked near the young woman 'Chloe' so when she asked about the trip to get here he instantly grabbed Stephanie pulling her close.

"It's all thanks to this girl here, she had the map." he smiled at Stephanie chuckling when he saw her cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Along with the rest of the crew," Jacob quickly added not wanting to get blown to smithereens by Pyro.

Drakon raised a brow when he heard another male's voice, looking behind him he saw Chloe was talking with one of the strangers. "There's a map on how to get here? Why bother coming?" He didn't understand why this group of people wanted to come here, sure Atlantis was beautiful and one of a kind but it was just another city to all the local people who have been born there. His blue eyes focused firmly on Stephanie as she seemed to be the brains behind everything, or the others just were too scared as she had been pushed forward to speak with the Kings.

"Now the stall isn't here right now, but this is where the best stall normally is" Drakon pointed to the spot where Chloe usually was although not today because she had been set to get married, "You all are lucky that Neleus is an understanding person" He knew King Vasilios wouldn't have let the strangers off this easily if it were his wedding day.

    -

Chloe smiled at the beautiful Stephanie, her own dark hair seemed to go well with her fair complexion. "Don't worry about Drakon, he doesn't have any desire to see what else is outside of Atlantis" She smiled and rolled her eyes when he mentioned where her stall should have been, she noticed Stephanie admiring the stalls and knew she'd have to show her the different jewelry that she has made.

"Neleus is in no rush to wed, he's a better King than Vasilios" She spoke to mostly Drakon as the strangers had no idea it was her that was going to be married to the royal, as they moved away from the town center the strangers were able to see the small houses that the locals lived in. It wasn't anything fancy but it was enough, she smiled as Drakon continued on showing the group around most of the city that he could.

Stephanie spoke her eyes locked on the blonde haired male that had spoken to her, "our world is nothing like yours, Atlantis is something new and beautiful. All my life I have wanted to see it. I knew it were real but none of my family believed me. The jokes on them now because here I stand in the central market of Atlantis." The brunette gushed out a wide smile spread across her face. She turned her attention to the empty section where there should have been a stall, she assumed it belonged to Chloe and Drakon. As the group continued to walk around taking in their surroundings.

The young woman turned and looked at Chloe who had just spoken to her, "I don't blame him, compared to here our world is boring. Everything here is so vibrant and blossoming.

"Yeah that King Vasilios is a creep," Jacob stated as he turned his head looking at Chloe, "He was so sizing you up Steph," the brunette blushed profusely.

"Shush!" she hissed trying to rid the image of his eyes scanning over her hungrily. Shivering she turned her attention to the blonde haired male that was moving them along. "What about King Neleus, he seems much kinder, a King that I would prefer to have."

(I swear I replied to this one)

Drakon grinned as he looked at Drakon, "If only your family could see you now. You'll have to go home and prove them wrong" He said knowing he'd rub it into their faces because he honestly believed that if someone wanted to do something, they could and loved ones should always support the people they care about the most.

He nodded his head, "Vasilios is more than a creep. I saw his eyes stayed on you as well, meaning he'll want you. He's a royal and gets whatever he wants, you be careful Stephanie. Otherwise he'll use you just like all the other women he has fancied, he uses and leaves" He explained before he rolled his blue eyes, "Yes Neleus is wonderful" He murmured.

Chloe gave Drakon a frown, "King Neleus is the best of the royals here. He's kind and cares about the locals, Vasilios would have locked you all up if you had arrived on his wedding day" She smiled as they continued walking through the city, many of the local people were still confused and astounded by the strangers so they were receiving looks from many.

Stephaine turned her attention to the blonde as he turned to look at her, his blue eyes capturing her attention, they were nothing like she had ever seen. A light blue like the waters of the Mediterranean, and around his black pupil a burst of purple, like a firework." Stephanie had forgotten how to speak so instead she simply nodded her head. When she heard Jacob burst out laughing she turned around and punched him in the arm.

"Ow! What?" he asked a chuckle breaking from his lips.

"You know what!" Stephanie stated as she felt her cheeks catch a light from embarrassment. When Drakon spoke about the King wanting her a shiver ran down her spine and she suddenly felt nauseous.

"Well he sounds like a dick," Jacob stated. "He won't touch Stephanie, I'll kick his arse before that happens." to prove a point he wound one of his arms around his best friend jerking her close. A squeak left her lips causing Drakon and Chloe to chuckle.

The way the blonde said Neleus was wonderful made the brown haired explorer think he wasn't the biggest fan of the young Royal.

"Well that makes us feel better about Vasilios," Jacob stated sarcastically.

Stephanie watched as she passed crowds of Atlantians she smiled at each of them they seemed to be stunned by her action but hesitantly they smiled back at her.

"I'm sure if you stick with us, one of us could speak with Neleus and make sure that Vasilios doesn't bother you" Drakon said in a snarky tone of voice, he didn't want his best friend to get married but she could always ask the Royal to protect the explorers though mainly Stephanie as she was the one Vasilios was interested in.

"You don't have to say it like that Drak, Neleus would keep Vasilios at bay either way" Chloe looked at the blonde as he rolled his eyes at her yet again, she sighed softly when Drakon stopped walking. "And that's Atlantis" He said to the group of explorers before he walked off in the other direction, he went to the practice field that the soldiers used to train. He was always at the field because it allowed him to relax and get his frustrations out.

Chloe watched her friend walk away and turned to Stephanie, "You can follow him if you like. I'll take your friends to my house" She turned and led the way to her small but cozy house, she let the explorers look around to see how the locals lived. "I should go see Neleus and ask about living arrangements" She looked at Jacob and gave him a smile, she begun walking only to have him join her as they made their way towards the castle that Neleus lived in.

Stephanie was caught by surprise when the young woman allowed her to follow the blonde haired male. The brown haired woman was sure that he would want to be left alone. She was about to say no when Jacob spoke.

"Yeah Steph, you should check on him, make sure he's not... frustrated." Looking at her friend she fought back the urge to hit him. Instead she nodded gently smiling lightly thanking Chloe for leading the crew away.

Turning she scanned the streets when she caught sight of his blonde hair, quickly she chased after him. The explorer would never admit it out loud but she wanted to know more about Drakon, he seemed interesting, she also wanted to know what his problem with Neleus was.

Drakon had heard footsteps behind him, though they were light so it was a woman. Turning his head, he glanced over his shoulder as women never really came into the practice field. Unless someone had gotten harmed and needed help, "Just because you are new here doesn't mean you always have to listen to Chloe. Though that's going to change shortly" He grumbled the last part, not putting any force or warning into his sentence as he actually did like that Stephanie had followed him. He was finding it more difficult to speak with Chloe about the arranged marriage, he knew she'd go through with it. If she didn't, well no one had ever refused a royal in that way.

"I am overreacting I know, but she's been my best friend since we were babies. Now she had to marry him" He spat like it disgusted him, it didn't but he was more worried than anything. He couldn't lose her. "I must apologize, you are here to explore. Not to listen to my problems or thoughts" He looked at the beautiful brunette with his light sky blue eyes, "You are very beautiful. Too beautiful to be an explorer" He told her straight up, not feeling embarrassed or nervous as she had the right to know that she was beautiful.

    -

Biting down on her bottom lip gently, Chloe looked beside her at Jacob. "May I ask what made you want to be an explorer?" She asked quietly not sure if that question was personal to him, but she wanted to know. "I couldn't imagine it, working on finding a city that people believe is a myth. Aren't people mean about what you believe in?" She asked looking at the attractive man, he was the typical tall dark and handsome type of man. However she knew for certain there was more to him, he had spent who knows how long searching for the lost city of Atlantis though now all of that was being paid off.

She had no idea how dangerous it was for the group to get there or if they had lost people on the way, "You must have a lot of belief in this city... or belief in Stephanie" It was obvious that they were close friends, just herself and Drakon or it could have been more than just friendship though she wasn't sure and didn't feel right asking him that so quickly. "You all must be hungry and tired, after we see King Neleus I will organise food for you and your friends" She told him brushing some of her curled hair back behind her ear.

Jacob looked at the brunette who had just spoken, "I'm not really an explorer," he admitted, "I simply came because I knew Steph would need the support of someone that she knew... and well here I am." he chuckled. It was the truth Jacob was no explorer he had simply come on this journey for Stephanie's sake. He knew that this would be hard for her and he assumed that if she had someone there that knew her well it might ease everything a little.

"Stephanie has been talking about this place for years, she has always wanted to search for it, and now here she is. Steph never stopped believing when the rest of us wanted to go back she would refuse she was so determined to find this place. That and she is terribly stubborn." The two continued to walk along.

"Thank goodness I am starving," Jacob stated over dramatically. There was a silence between them for a few moments before he broke it.

"So you are to marry King Neleus... Drakon isn't too fond of that idea is he?"

    ~

Stephanie stood beside the arena as she listened to the blonde blow off steam about his best friend and her marriage to one of the four kings in Atlantis. Truthfully she wasn't sure what to say.

"Have you tried speaking to her?" it sounded stupid and she mentally kicked herself for saying it out loud but it was the only thing she could think of.

"Sorry," she mumbled. "You probably have." she looked down taking an interest in the males sword. She looked at the object it shone in the evening light. Looking up the blade her eyes took in the detail of the hilt. The gold had been patterned with what she could only describe as waves, encrusted around the top was several pearls that swirled with colour.

"Is that Imperial Gold?" she asked "and those pearls... Poseidons' Pearls. This sword... this sword was forged in the armory of Poseidons' castle..." she trailed off as she recalled the legend. There were only four and Drakon held one in his hands. "Those pearls hand crafted by the Sea God himself, they are the most delicate of all pearls, but they posses a power... I'm not sure what though... I need to read more on the subject but..." the brown haired explorer trailed off as she looked at the sword.

"I have spoken to her, but when a marriage is planned like this than it's going to happen no matter what" Drakon sighed softly as he did feel slightly better now that he had gotten it off his chest, even if that meant this stranger had to listen to him complain.

Drakon turned his full attention onto the brunette explorer once she had finished trailing off about his sword, his light eyes focused on her as one of his brows raised. "I guess... but you do know that legend is just that, it's a legend that is still only talked about to make the Kings feel even more important" He rolled his blue eyes as his father had told him the legend many times when he was a little boy.

"Besides, it's just a sword. Nothing special about it, I doubt the pearls are even real" He wasn't one who believed in those types of legends and stories, he used to when he was younger but he knew better now.

"Aren't you here to explore the city? Don't waste time reading about the sword or the pearls" He looked at her, not wanting her to miss out on seeing the city when Atlantis was the reason she traveled this far in the first place. "Surely you had to have left loved ones behind to come here, a boyfriend maybe?" He hadn't seen a ring on her finger and he was being forward, but it was in a friendly way as he did want to know more about her.

"Or did he come along with you?" He asked not knowing if she was dating or in love with Jacob, they seemed to be close like he was with Chloe but he was a typical guy and wasn't sure if there was more to the friendship.

    -

Chloe smiled as she listened to Jacob's voice, she loved the idea of having such a passion that you wouldn't stop until you reached that goal. "She must be very stubborn, I could only imagine what other people have said and thought about what she wanted to do. I'm glad that she has you around her to support her" She knew why Jacob stayed with Stephanie, Drakon and her did the same thing.

"At least now she can travel back home and prove those people wrong, as long as she doesn't encourage more explorers to find this city. I doubt the Kings would enjoy our city being over run with strangers" She looked at him as they walked beside each other, their feet slowly carrying them as Chloe liked talking with him.

She chuckled softly as she looked at him, "I will make sure to have a feast ready for you and your friends" She told him not really knowing just how long it actually took them to reach Atlantis.

"Drakon doesn't like change, this marriage has been arranged and I didn't have a say. No one has ever said no to this marriage before, being a Queen is an honor and you can learn to love someone" She explained to him softly, "Drak is worried that we won't see each other as much or be able to spend time together. We do a lot together but I can't reassure him, I don't know what will happen after the wedding" She sighed softly before shaking her head lightly.

"I'm sorry, you don't need to hear about my problems" She apologized quickly to him.

Jacob listened the young Atlantian as she spilled her story about her engagement to the young King. He noticed the way her features dropped when she mentioned Drakon and his feelings in the whole situation. However Jacob could see where he was coming from. If Stephanie ever became engaged he would be worried about the wedding. Worried that the two of them might never see each other due to her having a husband and all.

"I can understand that, the two of you must be very close for him to feel so threatened by this wedding." he admitted truthfully. "But truth be told Neleus seems a hell of a lot better then that King Vasilios. If you were to be wed to him I think Drakon has more reason to feel threatened... Hey I don't mind listening, it's something I am good at." Jacob smiled at the young woman gently resting a hand on her shoulder. Instantly he pulled it off worried that he contact may have not been welcome.

"Sorry," he chuckled looking down at the ground.
Stephanie listened as the blonde vented his worry about the friendship him and Chloe shared. However the brown haired explorer thought he had nothing to worry about considering King Neleus seemed like a decent guy. Not a man that would destroy such a close friendship.

When the blonde began speaking of the legend of the swords she couldn't help rolling her eyes, "Yes but where do the legends come from?" she asked, "and I do want to see the city but I would also love to learn more about the weapon you have in your hands... it is a stunning blade." she admitted. Stephanie had always been one for weaponry, any weaponry she wasn't really phased whether it was a gun or a sword.

A light laugh left the young womans lips, "no just my parents and pet dog Patch, I don't have a boyfriend. Single." Stephanie was used to guys automatically assuming that her and Jacob were and item but that definitely was not the case.

"What about you? Girlfriend, Love interest, Fiancé?"

Drakon knew that he didn't really have to worry about King Neleus, though he didn't like change much and he was used to always having Chloe around. He didn't want that to change even though he knew it would, she'd have to do wife stuff and Queen stuff.

He raised an eyebrow when she seemed to be more interested in his sword than exploring the city, he didn't take much notice as it was a gorgeous sword. "I'm not sure, my father told me and his father told him. I never asked questions about where the legends came from, not many people my age did ask questions." He explained to her with a small shrug of his shoulders, "All I know is that the legends came from a very long time ago. I honestly don't even know how my family got this sword, but it's mine now and it's staying in my hands." He couldn't even think about losing the sword.

He looked at Stephanie as she spoke about being single, a small smile formed on Drakon's lips as he now knew that there wasn't anyone at home waiting for her to return. "I don't have time for that," He told her which wasn't actually true, he did have time but he hadn't found anyone that caused his heart to skip a beat.

No one held his attention for longer than a few seconds, well that was until the brunette explorer made her way into his world.
Chloe nodded her head lightly, "We've been friends since we were little children. We've grown up together, I know that once I am married and I show him that only a few things change. He'll feel better," She knew Drakon would be fine once he got used to her being married, it may take some time but he'd get there eventually.

King Neleus is much better than King Vasilios, I would keep an eye on your friend. He likes new women and isn't afraid to use them for his pleasure," She told him just in case Vasilios took an interest in Stephanie, she didn't want her to get hurt.

She shook her head as she smiled at him, "We are allowed to touch. You don't have to be sorry," She assured him as his touch felt nice, the only male that touches her is Drakon. She has only seen Neleus a few times around the city, they haven't had much contact yet even though they are engaged to be married very shortly.

"I'm sure you're good at many things, not just listening and being an explorer. You look like you could defend yourself, if you needed to." She smiled at him, it was true though. She could see the muscles on his arms through his shirt.

Jacob smiled at Chloe, a slight blush spreading across his cheeks at the compliments he was receiving from her. The black haired male nodded his head in understanding for everything was saying, especially what she was saying about the King that seemed to have taken a warming to his best friend. Jacob would never let him get his hands on her or hurt her.

"Thanks for the warning, I will be sure to keep that creep away from her. So I guess we should catch up with the others," while the two had been talking between one and other the crew had lingered forward several meters following their own senses. Chuckling he walked forward the brunette falling instep with him.

Jacob hoped that Stephanie was alright with Drakon and he prayed that Vasilios didn't get within ten meters without him beside her.
Stephanie nodded her head, "Good guard that thing with your life," was all she said her eyes lingering from the sword in the blondes hand to his light blue eyes. A smile spread across her face when he told her that he didn't have time for love.

"And why not?" she asked, surely everyone had a little time for love. The explorer was looking for love at every corner, she wasn't desperate she just got a little lonely and the constant picking from her mother didn't help the situation either, "Surely everyone has a little time for another."

Drakon opened his month to answer Stephanie's question about why he didn't have time for love, but no one had questioned him before and now that he thought about it he didn't actually have an answer. "I don't know, I just don't. There's no one here that I want to spend my life with," He gave her the best answer that he could, he wanted to be honest with Stephanie and what he told her was the truth. Of course, his parents, well mostly his mother was always on his case about finding a nice girl to marry and start a family with. Drakon did want that for himself but he wanted to actually be in love with whoever he spent the rest of his life with.

"And why haven't you found love?" He asked looking at the beautiful explorer, not that he'd admit to her that she was beautiful because he didn't want to make things awkward between them. He liked her already, otherwise he wouldn't be spending time with her right now. A smile grew on his face as he held his sword at the base of the handle and offered it to her, "Want to give it a hold?" He asked but only because she seemed so interested in it, he felt like he could trust her.
Chloe couldn't help but smile when she saw the light blush that had settled across Jacob's cheeks, for some reason she really liked seeing him blush. "Just don't call him a creep to his face or to one of his guards, they wouldn't stand that and I don't want to see you get hurt" She knew Vasilios wouldn't hold back if he wanted to hurt anyone, although the local people just had to deal with him because he was born into a royal family and had always been set to become King one day.

"Of course," She smiled as they quickened their pace slightly so they were closer to the group of explorers, though no one had gotten lost yet. "How are you liking the city?" She asked as she looked at him, she hoped that he was enjoying himself. She had never showed someone around before so she was probably horrible at it, "I'm probably not the best person to give you a tour around" She apologized to him.
