Sydney was beyond nervous for her first day on set. She had heard only good things about the cast and crew, but she was still nervous about making a good first impression. As childish as it was, she just wanted everyone to like her.

With a long, deep breath, she patted down the hem of her dress and walked through the doors for her first actual day of filming. She'd already gotten the grand tour and gotten her makeup, hair and wardrobe done, but now it was time to get down to business.

"Sydney!" The producer called to her, motioning her over to the other side of the set with his arm. "You look great! Let's go ahead and get started. You're going to be filming a scene with Daniel this morning," he said as he pointed to the gorgeous blonde man to his left.
For Dylan, it was just another day of filming. Everything about the set was just so natural to him after a few seasons; he was ready to get the ball rolling. Although it was like clockwork, he enjoyed nothing more than his time on the set joking with his cast mates and having a good time.

As he always did, he headed over to hair and makeup a little bit early, even though his first scene wasn't until the afternoon. He liked to get there before the rush and while the girls were still fresh. A few of the makeup artists got crabby after the long days.

He went in and sat down in his usual chair, ready for Chelsea or Megan or one of the other usuals to get started with the makeup they'd done so many times they'd had it memorized, but that was not the case.

Daniel had arrived at the set kind of early that morning, which he liked, usually he didn't film his scenes this early so he wouldn't have arrived for at least another half hour. Really it was nice being there early though, he'd been able to find a parking place and get his makeup done before the artist's were crabby because of the long day. And this morning he'd gotten there a bit earlier than usual and totally saw a difference in the artists early that he didn't see usually.

He wasn't sure why they were filming his scenes early today, but he had been told that the new girl, who he'd seen the day before but not gotten the chance to talk to yet, would be filming with him. It was kind of exciting. Meeting the new girl was a huge deal, it was always a huge deal when new people started on the show but Daniel had seen her the day before and thought she was pretty.

And when it was almost time to film he saw the producer walking over with the new girl he smiled and approached them. "Daniel this is Sydney. You two are going to be shooting a couple scenes together this morning. So I'll give you both a minute to get acquainted while we finish setting everything up." He told them before walking off to go make sure everything was ready to be filmed. "It's nice to finally meet you Sydney." Daniel said with a smile holding out his hand for her to shake.
Astrid was honestly still kind of in shock when she walked onto the set again. It was only her second day here, of course today was her first day on the job. Yesterday she'd mostly spent the day getting to know her way around, kind of, and meeting some of the cast and crew. She'd met Chelsea one of the regular artists and was told about how she'd be taking over for Megan who quit for some reason or another. No one had really told her why Megan had left but Astrid wasn't going to complain or ponder because it didn't really matter.

Of course when she walked in she hadn't expected anyone to be in her chair. She knew that she'd be working today, doing the make up and hair hoping to do it right. But seeing someone in her chair made it more real to her, which also made her a little nervous. She'd been doing hair and make up for years now really, but never anything that was going to be on TV for millions of people to see, but she couldn't think of it like that. She had to remain focused and remind herself that she could do this. She'd been going over everyone and what the needed done since she'd gotten all the information and today was the day she'd actually do it.

Once to her chair she smiled at who she recognized as Dylan O'Brien. "Good morning." She said setting her things down, "and I hope you haven't been waiting that long or anything. This place is go huge it's kind of hard to find your way around but I'll get the hang of it." She added hoping he hadn't been waiting for her too long.

"It's nice to meet you too," Sydney said as she shook Daniel's hand with a smile. She knew from watching the show on television just how handsome her costars were, but Daniel looked even better in person. He had perfect dimples when he smiled and hair that looked so soft she wanted to run her fingers through it. He could quite possibly be the most perfect human being on the planet, which could quite possibly make it even more difficult for her to act alongside him.

"I'm really excited to work with you," she continued as the two of them dropped hands. "I've been a fan of the show for a long time. Isaac is one of my favorites."
Dylan was shocked by the pretty brunette who came up behind him carrying some of her own tools from home, despite that Megan had used the same show bought ones on him for years. The girl's eyes blinked nervously as she waited for a response, and Dylan quickly cleared his throat.

"That's alright. I'm a little bit early actually." Dylan stood up from the chair and rubbed his hands on the back of his pants before shaking the girl's small hand. He thought it was only polite since it was the first time they were meeting. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Dylan. Megan just out for the day?"

"I'm excited to work with you too. Of course I'm always excited to work with new people." Daniel told her, he really did love getting to know more people and working with new people. He loved acting, which was why he did it. And hearing someone was excited to work with him, had been a fan of the show and he'd been their favorite character was a huge deal for him. One of the reasons he liked his job so much was because he could make other people happy with his work. "And it's an honor to meet someone who appreciates Isaac." He said laughing softly.

It was going to be really amazing getting to know her, he could already tell it'd be fun to work with her, and he loved that. He loved that they'd just met but could so easily make a connection and feel comfortable. And of course if she was nervous or anything like that he couldn't tell. Though he could understand if she was. He was always nervous on his first day on set of a new show. And he'd been really nervous his first acting gig ever. After a while though you just get comfortable and know it's not that bad and there's nothing to be nervous about.
"I'm Astrid, and it's a pleasure to meet you too." Astrid told him smiling before dropping his hand and tucking her hair behind her ear. "I guess no one told you guys but I'm Megan's replacement." She added feeling weird about that. Clearly Megan knew these people, she'd worked with them the past few seasons and knew everything. It made Astrid feel kind of out of place since she didn't really know anyone, other than Chelsea, who she'd only met the day before. She wasn't going to let that stop her though. This was Astrid's dream, and she wasn't going to let anything stop her from being there.

"And I'm sorry if I'm all over the place or make you uncomfortable, I'm still trying to get used to everything. And well I haven't been in LA that long so it's all still kind of new to me." She told him in a bit of a ramble. She'd been in LA a little over a month and was still living in a hotel thanks to the apartments she'd been looking at falling through, and life was still kind of crazy and all over the place.

"Well, he's a very deep character," Sydney joked, resisting the urge to add a comment about how deep his eyes are as well. She smiled again and nodded her head. "I appreciate his angst."

Sydney was still nervous about the scene they were just minutes away from filming, but talking to Daniel made her feel worlds better. He was so sweet and easy going, and he did an amazing job of making her feel like she felt in. She just hoped she wouldn't let him and everyone else down when they actually started filming.
"Oh, I hadn't heard. Did she quit or... Scratch that, you probably know just as much as I do," Dylan said, chuckling softly to himself. He paused for a moment before clearing his throat and continuing. "You're gonna love LA. It's busy most of them time, but it's a fun place to live. Always something going on, which is nice. Where are you from originally?"

Dylan didn't know this new girl very well, but he already liked her. She seemed sweet enough, albeit nervous, and he was sure she'd do a great job with his makeup if only he could stop talking long enough to let her do it. He wasn't even sitting in his chair anymore, after all.

Daniel nodded his head. "That he is. And it's awesome that you appreciate his angst. I really enjoy playing him. I mean he has a dark past and sometimes that leads to not making the best choices, but he's trying to change for the better and he's deep and kind of challenging. It's fun. Those are the characters I like playing most really. The deep ones who end up with a lot of development as time goes on." He told her knowing he could probably talk about Isaac and how much he loved playing him for hours if someone let him.

"I'm sure you'll love your character too though. After a while they kind of just become part of you and well you have to love them. And I'm sure she's awesome, especially if she's friends with Isaac." He joked. Sydney seemed pretty amazing already, even though they'd hardly talked honestly. She just seemed really sweet and fun to be around. Which was something he could get behind. There was no need to be rude and a buzz kill all the time. Especially in LA in the acting business. "So is this your first major gig?" He asked, as they might as well get to know one another.
"Yea I don't really know so I couldn't tell you." Astrid said shrugging her shoulders. "And I'm sure once I'm settled in and don't feel so overwhelmed I'll love it. Right now I'm just overwhelmed. And well I was born in New York and lived there until I was five. Then we moved to St. Louis when my dad's job moved there. And I recently moved here a month ago." She told him kind of already knowing he was from New York too, because well she'd kind of looked him up once or twice being she watched the show before she got the job and kind of like every other girl who watched the show had a thing for Stiles, but whatever.

Astrid may not have really known anyone still, but she could easily tell that Dylan really was as nice and amazing as she and everyone else had always made him out to be. He'd never really screamed douche or anything when she watched interviews or in the time she'd spent online learning as much as she could about the cast so she wouldn't feel to out of place when she got here. And it was just nice to be here now and feel like she'd been right about them. They they weren't total asshats like some people seemed to think everyone in Hollywood was.

"I acted in all my high school plays, though I'm not sure anyone outside of Ohio cares," Sydney laughed. From the first day she'd got the gig, she decided it was better to embrace her past than try to hide it. While most actors had coaches or parents who helped them in Hollywood, Sydney grew up on good old fashioned high school drama classes a la Toby Macguire. "I'm very lucky to have gotten such an amazing part on this show."

And Sydney knew she was. It was a one in a million shot to be plucked from a crowd of faces for a part that tons of girls were vying for. She was more than lucky. It was some sort if miracle and she's be damned if she was going to let it slip through her fingers. She had to impress the cast. She just had to.
"Ah, New York is nice. LA is mild compared to NYC so I'm sure you can handle this place. Paparazzi is much worse though. Not that you'd have to worry about that. I mean, I don't know what I mean." Dylan laughed, knowing he was rambling again. It was a problem he had when he met knew people, and he suddenly found himself wishing Astrid was his dentist so she'd have her hands in his mouth. That way he wouldn't be tempted to babble the whole time.

Dylan looked from Astrid, who may or may not have been fighting back a smile, to the chair and then back again, before taking a seat in the place he had spent countless hours in before. "So has Chelsea told you what to do then? About my cheekbones and all that?"

"Really?" Daniel asked her intrigued by her answer. "Well if it means anything I care. I think it's kind of cool that you were in all your school plays and well I'm sure if you were in every one of them that you must be a good actress so there's no doubt it was a good choice choosing you." He told her with a bright smile. There were a lot of people who make it big living their dreams singing or acting or whatever because their parents know people, or their parents have money and are able to spend lots of money to get them scouts and send them to classes and they can just fork over all the money because it's what their kids want. And that's great and all, it's great when parents want to help their kids with their dreams. But Daniel could just tell that Sydney had worked really hard on her own to get here. And he kind of admired that.

"I was in a lot of plays and when I was little, and I guess I got kind of lucky because I knew that it was what I wanted to do. Be in front of a camera or up on a stage making TV or movies, or something where others could watch and be entertained. And then I eventually went to an academy for dramatic arts and now here I am." He told her knowing this was where he wanted to be, and that he liked how he'd gotten here. He wouldn't change that for anything but he would continue to to strive for the best he could be.
"That is very true. NYC is kind of crazy. My family still lives there so we usually go back and visit around holidays, and my grandparents would let me stay with them through the summers while I wasn't in school. I can't really say much about the paparazzi since I've never been tailed by them before but I'll take your word for it." Astrid told him starting to feel much more comfortable and a lot less nervous than when she'd first arrived. Of course get her talking and don't make her feel like an idiot or anything and all would be well.

"I've been informed about how to treat you dear cheekbones and all that." She said laughing softly. "I just hope that I can do a good a job as everyone else." She added knowing that they wouldn't have asked her to take over Megan's job if she didn't have the skill and requirements. Pretty much they wouldn't have asked her to be part of the team if they didn't think she could do it. Or at least she hoped that was the case. But this was her first day and well Dylan was the first person she was working on so it was time to test her abilities she supposed.

"It sounds a lot like a fairytale," Sydney said, smiling as Daniel told his story. She couldn't believe how lucky he had been, and now look at him. He was gorgeous, talented and had a very bright career ahead of him. Daniel's life was like something straight out of a movie. "I guess we're both very lucky then."

Sydney had just finished speaking when the director was calling both he and Daniel to the set. Everything was good to go for the two of them to film their first scene together, and Sydney was beyond nervous. It wasn't too early to replace Sydney if her and Daniel didn't have enough on screen chemistry.
"Sorry, the director is just very particular about my make up. It's like he's got the lighting on the entire set centered around my cheeks." Dylan laughed, shaking his head. "He jokes that between my cheeks, Holland's hair and Tyler's abs, we wouldn't even need a script."

It was just a joke, of course, because Teen Wolf was nothing without its amazing writing, regardless of how good looking the cast was.

"It would seem that way." Daniel said, he was rather pleased with how life treated him and of course how things turned out for him up until now. He knew that a lot of people had dreams they may never fulfill, and he was thankful that he'd been sent down the right paths to get where he was today able to fulfill his dreams. He was also sure that Sydney was thankful for that as well since it seemed this was all she wanted too. And if there was one thing that could make a person happy besides finding your soulmate Daniel was sure it would be living your dream and loving your life.

Before he knew it though they were being called onto the set to start filming, and it was just as exciting as ever. There was something about working with someone new for the first time that was kind of exciting. And Daniel had no doubts that Sydney would be great on set and there was nothing to worry about. Though he also didn't doubt she was nervous, which was understandable he just hoped that he could make it as comfortable for her as possible.
"I can imagine he does, you do have pretty flawless cheekbones." Astrid replied with a smile before finally pulling out the brushes she needed to to his make up, along with the actual make up. "I bet you three could make a TV show about who knows what and people would still watch it." She told him, even though she knew it was only a joke the three of them did have pretty amazing qualities that Astrid was sure people would tune it just to watch them whether they were doing anything interesting or not.

"I mean Holland could talk about her hair and maybe give tips on how everyone could have amazing hair like hers, Tyler could give great tips on how to maintain amazing abs while he walked around shirtless, and then you could just sit there and people would be amazed. Because all the girls seem to love you no matter what you do, and I'm sure it has something to do with your cheekbones." She lightly joked back. Though if they were ever to make youtube videos about those things then she would probably watch them. However the Teen Wolf script was always amazing and so even she knew the fans tuned in for more than just pretty faces.

The set was a typical one for Teen Wolf - a classroom set up with chairs and extras who posed as students. Sydney already had her lines memorized, and she could see immediately where her spot on the set would be. There was one open seat next to Daniel's, and Sydney quickly moved over to it, while the cameramen and Jeff got themselves all set.

Jeff's eyes set over to Sydney and he smiled at her as he gave a nod of his head. "We're ready whenever you are."

Sydney nearly choked, but cleared her throat quickly as she looked at Jeff with wide eyes. "I start?"

Jeff simply nodded before one of the interns snapped the clapperboard together, marking the first take. Sydney looked over at Daniel nervously with her eyes blinking quickly and her throat drying up. She suddenly froze - something she had never done before - and nearly panicked.

"I'm sorry," she said embarrassedly, looking between Daniel and Jeff. "Can I try that again?"
"We're going to have to shoot some make-up tutorials and post them on Twitter," Dylan joked, knowing what happened the last time he posted a video on Twitter. He had thousands of retweets in under an hour, and he could only imagine what would happen if they posted a video on that.

Dylan was smiling at Astrid until one of the director's gophers came into the room, her eyes looming over Dylan and Astrid as she hurriedly spoke. "The set will be ready in 20. Jeff said to be waiting on stage 3 for him."

Dylan nodded softly, which sent the gopher away, and then turned back to Astrid. "You think you can have me ready by then?"

[Ah, so you're in the opposite direction of me then!]

Daniel walked onto the set and took his seat in the chair like he was supposed to before turning to look at Sydney, who was starting the scene. Even then he could tell that she was nervous, and he still totally understood why she would be. When she froze up and asked to try again though he couldn't help himself.

Daniel reached over, grabbed her hand and gave it a little squeeze. "It'll be okay." He whispered smiling, "just don't think about this however you're thinking about it right now, and imagine that we're practicing for one of your school plays or something. Take a deep breath, calm down, relax, and I promise you'll do fine." He told her hoping he helped even a little.

He didn't want Sydney to freak herself out so much that she didn't think she could do this and blow her chances or something insane like that. Because even though he'd only just met her he felt like she had a lot of potential, and they'd gotten along so well he felt they could be good friends, and well friends helped friends out.
"We should." Astrid joked right back, having no doubt that his fanbase went kind of crazy when he posted things on his twitter. She wasn't really on the site enough to know much about the people on there but she didn't doubt that whatever he posts was probably viral within minutes. "I'm sure everyone would love to see you get your make up done."

Astrid looked up from everything she was setting out getting ready to use when they were told that she had less than 20 minutes really to finish his make up and send him on his way. Which was totally possible.

"Well considering it's my job to have you ready for set 3 in 20 minutes then that's what's going to happen. Now try not to distract me." She said laughing a little before picking up the first brush and grabbing the container of makeup she needed and getting started. This was her chance after all to prove to herself that she could do this, and that she deserved this job.

Sydney couldn't help the fact that her heart leapt up the moment Daniel touched her. It wasn't really her fault considering how handsome he was and the nerve wrecking situation they were in. He was just too good looking for his own good, and she really needed to focus on the task at hand.

Daniel was right - it really wasn't much different than her high school plays. In fact, there were less people looking at her now than there were on opening night. Except this time it really mattered how she performed.

"Right," Sydney said, smiling at Daniel gratefully as she nodded her head. "Breathe." She took in a few deep breaths with Daniel while it seemed everyone was watching them before she turned back to Jeff. "Can I try again?"

"Absolutely," Jeff said, giving Sydney a reassuring smile as he nodded in her direction. "Take two!"

Sydney took another breath before she recited her lines. This time, the words actually came out, and much better than she expected too. She had to stop herself from smiling and breaking character when it was Daniel's turn.
"Right, no distractions," Dylan said, nodding his head with a smile, though he knew how awful he was with the 'no distractions' thing. The other artists had always complained that he talked too much for them to get his cheeks right. It was a problem he'd had since he was young, but he thought it was probably what helped him get where he was in his career.

"So, did you go to make up school or... ?" Daniel trailed off before he chuckled, shaking his head, which only made it more difficult for Astrid to finish his make up. "Sorry, no distractions. I almost forgot."

He shut his lips then and leaned back so he could let Astrid work her magic. If he was late, she'd be the one in trouble - not him - and he couldn't let that happen.

Daniel sat at his desk and stayed in character trying his hardest not to smile himself at Sydney when she did so amazing on her second take. Like he'd known she would. He did feel good though that he was being some what helpful. Everyone just wanted to succeeded and he'd be of whatever help he could be.

Once it was his turn though he turned in his seat and then, in his american accent, said in his lines while looking at Sydney like he was supposed to. When it was over and they'd both did their parts Jeff called cut and walked over.

"That was amazing you guys." Jeff told them with a smile, and Daniel couldn't help but smile back because it'd felt pretty amazing. "I really think the fans are going to love it, and you Sydney. I think they'll all be happy you're here too."
Astrid swiped the makeup on the brush over one side of Dylan's face at a time, since she couldn't do both sides at once. And shook her head when he kept talking. "You know you're awful at the no distractions thing." She laughed as she took a step back to look at her work.

She turned her back to him for a moment to grab a few other things from her station before turning back around and this time using her fingers to blend the makeup into his skin so it would look perfect. "And I did actually. I went to cosmetology school after I graduated high school." She told him adding a few final touches before stepping away so he could look at himself in the mirror, and she could also to see if there was any last second things that needed to be done.

A bright smile fell to Sydney's face as Jeff spoke to them. All she'd wanted was to do a good enough job to impress everyone, and it appeared she had at least done well enough not to get kicked off the show.

"Thank you so much," Sydney smiled as she shook Jeff's hand. "I really appreciate you giving me this chance."

"Don't even mention it." Jeff nodded as he looked at his watch. "Now, I've got to go shoot a scene with Dylan. You two can watch if you'd like, or go do whatever mischievous things you do when I'm not around," Jeff finished, looking mostly towards Daniel as though he was expecting to be pranked at any second.
"It's not my fault. We just met and I have a lot of questions. I promise I won't always get in the way," Dylan promised, though he knew that was probably a lie. Astrid didn't have to know that yet, though. She'd learn that soon enough, just like all the other girls did.

When Astrid moved out of the way, Dylan gave himself a quick look in the mirror. He never really could tell the difference, aside from the fact that his skin always looked more flawless, but he assumed that Astrid did just as good a job as any. And with enough time for him to walk over to the set, too.

"Is that it then?" He asked as he looked at her through the mirror, knowing how the other girls usually dabbed on a bit extra after he'd looked at himself, though he still couldn't tell the difference even when they did that.

Daniel smiled at Jeff and Sydney, "why on earth would you think I was going to do something mischievous?" Daniel asked faking a shocked face. Jeff knew that Daniel, Dylan, and sometimes Tyler would joke around and pull pranks on people for fun.

"Well I promise we'll try not to get into too much trouble." Daniel said smiling over at Sydney. Really maybe he'd ask her if she wanted to go grab a bite to eat with him. Or maybe he'd show her around or something. Who really knew. All Daniel knew for sure was he wanted to try and get to know Sydney a little better.
Astrid laughed again. "Well if you have that many questions we should get lunch or something you know so I don't get distracted while I'm trying to work." She joked with him, she didn't mind all his questions or all the talking either. It was nice to talk to someone other than the random workers at the hotel she was staying at. But she did want to keep her job so as long as he didn't distract her so much she or fired.

"Yea you're done." She told him not seeing anything else that needed to be done. "So I send you on your way. Go out there and get to acting." She laughed.

It was cute to see the relationship that Jeff and Daniel had, and it was obvious that the two thought very fondly of each other. Jeff was great with working with the cast, and it seemed like everyone admired him for it. Sydney couldn't help but think how lucky she was to work with him.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't get in trouble," Sydney said as she crossed her hand over her chest. "I promise."

Jeff chuckled at both of them, almost as though he didn't believe them, before he turned around to head to whatever set he was needed at next.
"It looks perfect, thank you," Dylan said, smiling at Astrid, though he truthfully wouldn't know if it looked perfect or not. He looked the way he always thought he looked, and he probably wouldn't have noticed the change unless she'd thrown some red lipstick on him.

"I'm sure I'll see you again before the day is over," Dylan said as stood up from his chair, meeting eye to eye with Astrid. "I have a long day of filming ahead and I'm sure Jeff'll want me to do some touch ups. He always does."

Once Jeff had left to go shoot some scenes with Dylan Daniel turned to look at Sydney. "I'm sure he believes that you'll try and keep me out of trouble, but Jeff knows me so well he's sure I'll get into some kind of trouble. And he'd be right." Daniel said shrugging his shoulders some. Even though he didn't have anything planned yet the day was still young.

"Anyways are you hungry or anything? We could go grab a bite to eat. Or if you're not then we can walk around the set and maybe go watch Dylan act maybe distract him some before Jeff runs us off." He asked knowing that Posey and Holland were probably in the scenes with Dylan since those three were always together in the show. That or maybe it'd be a scene with Hoechlin. Either way Daniel was sure they could find something to do to keep them occupied.
"You're welcome. And let's hope everyone else thinks it looks perfect too." Astrid said smiling back, she did think it looked good and like it was supposed to so there wasn't really anything she was worried about. Of course it was more what Jeff and the other directors thought it looked like that counted since they were the ones filming and all. She wasn't worried though.

"Then I'm sure we'll see each other again at some point today." She replied smiling, "and well have fun out there. I have some more faces to work on, but I'll be here when you're sent in for your touch ups." She told him not even really sure who else she'd see today. She still wasn't really sure if they were going to assign her certain actors that only she worked on like she'd noticed with one of the other artists or what. But only time would tell what the plan was.

Sydney smiled at Jeff as he walked away before turning to Daniel again. He was smiling at her and looking down on her as spoke. She couldn't help but laugh when he talked about getting in trouble, and she swore she nearly fainted when he asked her to lunch. Sure, they were just friends and had only met, but Sydney didn't have many friends in California and the fact that Daniel was possibly the most gorgeous human being she had ever seen didn't hurt.

"Food sounds great," Sydney said as she nodded her head. She wasn't sure why, but she liked the idea of being alone with Daniel much more than watching him play pranks on his costars, though the latter would be hilarious to watch. "I don't really know anything good around here except for Chinese take-out, though."
"Don't worry, if they have anything to say about it, they'll have me to answer to," Dylan joked, knowing that he really wasn't much of a threat. He was probably the least intimidating person on the planet, aside from the fact that he could get pretty much anyone working below him fired if he wanted.

"I'll see you in chair 2," Dylan said with a smile as he walked away, headed towards the set that Jeff had called him to. He was sure he had a long day of filming ahead of him, and it would definitely go by fast. It always did.
