My friends don't get why I write at all, they're always asking me why I do it when I'm not gaining anything from it. I just tell them that it's my passion. They still don't get it XD

I have the need to write but I just don't feel like updating anything. I think I'll just work on my Pyromancer story.

Anyone have an idea on what I should name my female knight for Pyromancer? I'm like at a loss. I like the temporary name, Winona, but that kinda gets me thinking of a more girly girl kinda girl rather than a tomboyish fantasy character. Any suggestions?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hand writes stuff first. I actually prefer to write many chapters ahead of what I'm posting, too, if not actually finish the piece totally before posting. (One-shots and drabbles, of course, I do finish totally before posting, with the exception of the usual tweaks that I tend to make when typing it up.)

I'm always writing things by hand before posting them. There are some exceptions where i post things as soon as I type them up like poems and one shots. Cute

I prefer having my notes for the story handwritten, that way I'm not going back and forth between documents on the screen.

Same here. I always jot down little notes or sentences from scenes in different places in my notebooks.
For some reason, this mysterious little idea I had turned into a Doctor Who fanfiction. Like how is that possible? The first chapter isn't too detailed and it's not all that long either, which explains why it's not very detailed. I just wrote the scene on a spur of the moment kinda deal. Facepalm Let's see where it takes me.

Do your pages that have random tidbits of information down look like a seven year old was bored?

HAHA! That's awesome. Or is it? No, no, it's awesome.

Aha kind of. I just flip to a random page and write down my ideas. XD

Thanks. XD It would be my first DW fanfic ever. Shifty

I'll do that if I'm not far along on the current page, but usually when an idea comes to me, I'm just scribble it down real quick and go back to what I was writing before.

That's cool. I haven't actually gotten into the series so I don't know much about it other than the little I've seen on Tumblr or from what I catch when my boyfriend is watching it.

My ideas come to me at random so most likely, I'll kinda abandon writing my current stories for a day or two and work on the random ideas but I always come back to my stories though. But my problem really is finishing stories. I can never seem to finish stories despite planning them out from beginning to end.

Me neither. I only watched the first two or three seasons because my uncle checked them out from the library. I didn't really like the series much at first but it kinda grew on me after awhile.

Yeah. That happens to me a lot. I try to just jot down the general idea of what I think the story is, and then when I can go back to it. Do you just lose interest in them, or...? I've only just started finding out how great planning is. I used to just plan the first few chapters, and write down general ideas, but when I got to those general ideas, I'd have no idea what I was on about and tend to lose interest.

Yeah. I get sucked into watching it when it's on. haha

No, I just have a weird way of doing things. My inspiration and muses kinda controls me. I rarely lose interest in stories but when I do, I delete the whole story and keep the main idea tucked away somewhere until my plot bunnies decide to revive it or something. I've always planned my stories out. At least since I became extremely serious about my writing in my final year of high school, I did. Outlines are awesome, aren't they? In Love

    It's an amusing show, isn't it? x)

I've been really inspired this last week, re-writing old stories and planning new ones. My tea must have been spiked XD

And, having just finished watching season 4 of Teen Wolf, I now want to write about werewolves tehe
