[ I'll reply to cc in the morning. Because I'm about to crash. ]

"I get it." Jake replied, "you still have a lot of feelings and pent up emotions for him and you're confused. So you need your time and space to figure everything out." Jake said pretty much getting spot on.

"Pretty much." She replied softly glad he ubderstood. And glad he wasn't too upset. Or at least not showing it if he was really upset about it. "Anyways I'm gonna head in so I guess I'll talk to you later." She said pretty sure he'd just go back to the beach and enjoy the rest of his day. And she didn't blame him. Ebony kind of just wanted to forget boys existed for a while though.
"Has it really been two month?" Liam said slightly shocked. "Lord. This is what happens when you've been here as long as me. Time just kind of runs together and you have no way of keeping track of it." He told her knowing he'd probably fail if he tried keeping a calendar or something. "It's awesome that you like it so far though. That's always good, and it's nice that you're enjoying being a kappa too. I remember when I first joined the alphas I was nervous. Lord the first half of my freshman year I was probably the biggest nervous wreck ever." He told her knowing it seemed weird. But he'd just been nervous he would fit in or that he'd get kicked out even eventually he got over his silly fears and now he was a senior and still an alpha.

"What do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Zayn asked, looking down at Lindsey with a smile as he rested his hands on her hips. Her eyes were looking into his, and he thought she looked just as pretty without her makeup as she did with it.

"I will need to work on my tan at some point," she said with a smile as she took a step forward and pressed their bodies together. "We could head back to the beach and relax."
"Oh, it's very nerve wrecking," Maisie said with a nod of her head, looking down at her feet as a small wave lapped against her toes. "I'm always worried I'll say something wrong or do something wrong or won't drink enough or won't sleep with enough people, and then they'll kick me out for not being enough like them." Maisie already knew that she wasn't a lot like the other girls. Sure, she was cute, but she didn't have the bodies they did or the tans they did.

Ebony walked into the hospital and made her way up to where she knew her family was staying still. She knew they probably weren't expecting her back until later, or maybe not even until someone called her, but here she was. And she didn't know why but she kind of felt a little relieved being here with everyone. They weren't all expecting her to just be okay as soon as someone new kissed her. They knew she'd probably want to take her time and do her best not to be stupid like she was last time. But she was pretty sure they knew she wasn't ready for anything serious right now either. And Jake was moving a bit fast.

"Ebony you don't have to rush yourself into moving on. If you're not ready to let go don't try and force yourself to just because he seems over you and is with this Lindsey girl. But also you can't let whatever you feel for him to ruin the friendship he wants to try and have with you. Just kind of take things slow, stay calm. Maybe ask him to get coffee with you or something and just be friends. Like you were before you ever dated and just see what happens. Maybe in the end that'll bring you back together. Or maybe it'll be what helps you move on." Her dad told her, and she had no idea how he'd gotten so insightful.
"I feel you there." Liam told her nodding his head. "I was so nervous about everything. I mean it got better and I'm not really nervous anymore. I think it's all about finding that brother, or sister in type case, who just totally accept you and doesn't make you change who you are. Because once one person totally accepts you and doesn't make you uncomfortable or feel like you don't belong it all starts to fall into place." He told her, and that was Zayn to him. Zayn was his best mate and the reason he didn't feel nervous anymore.

Zayn followed Lindsey back to the beach, where she apparently wanted to work on her tan, and the two of them laid out on their beach towels, side by side. Lindsey pulled her tanning oil out of her bag and passed it in Zayn's direction. "You wanna get my back?"

Zayn quickly nodded his head and pulled the top off. "Of course," he said as he squeezed some of the liquid onto his hands. He moved her hair away from her back, then proceeded to rub the oil on her gently.
Maisie hadn't realized Liam and Zayn were that close, but she figured it made sense. They were roughly the same year, to Maisie's knowledge, and they seemed to have enough in common. Maisie didn't know Zayn well, but she figured she probably should if she and Liam were going to have a relationship that went anywhere. "I guess I really haven't found that yet," she said with a shrug of her shoulders. "But hopefully I will soon. I didn't know you and Zayn were so close."

[ So I'm trying to figure out what to do with Ebony and Zayn at this point. Think ]

"We are. That's why I was always so hard on him about Ebony, and why I'm so close to her. Because he's my best friend and I was the one he talked to about her when he first met her, and I was there after the break up when he claimed he still loved her but couldn't even hear her name because she broke his heart. Which that was right before he decided to ban her name from the alpha house all together. And he was there for me when I got my first girlfriend in college, my first break up with Laura, and my second one. He was also the one who got it through my thick skull that we shouldn't be together and it was better off she wasn't in my life. Which he was right by the way because I really like hanging out with you even though I'm rambling and probably say the wrong thing and sound like an idiot. And she would've hated this. She was really jealous and was always getting pissed off whenever I so much as mentioned another girls name so yea it's a good thing she's gone." Liam said shaking his head trying not to think about Laura and her tendency's from when they were together. "And I'm sure you'll find the right person soon. Or maybe they'll find you, who knows who it'll be or when but I'm sure you guys will find one another." He added knowing that it might be helpful of him being in her life, but what Maisie needed was a friend like Zayn was to him that she could talk to about anything and everything and just feel comfortable around all the time. And probably someone who wasn't her potential boyfriend since there might be things they couldn't really talk about comfortably.

[Ugh Mibba ate my entire post and I had to re-write this whole thing #annoyed. Time skippage also.]

Zayn was laying in his bed with Lindsey, his arm wrapped around her body as they stared up at the ceiling and talked about nothing. It had been a few weeks since he and Lindsey had gotten together, and he was beginning to feel more and more comfortable with her, which was very new for him. He was running his fingers through her hair, smiling, when his phone rang against his chest. It was a text from one of the other frat guys who was looking for some extra beer. He laughed and got up from the bed, setting his phone next to Lindsey as he leaned down to give her a kiss. "I'll be right back."
Maisie had just finished up writing a paper for her freshman comp class when Elizabeth and her boyfriend walked through the door. They were halfway through what looked like an intense make out session, and Elizabeth was practically fucking him with her clothes on. Maisie knew she needed to get out of there or else they would be undressing with her in the room, not shy at all about her sexcapades. It had been a few days since Maisie heard from Liam, but she tried not to let it get to her, even though Zayn seemed to be able to spend nearly every night at the Kappa house with Lindsey.

[ Mibba's been kind of slow for me lately, and I really hate when Mibba decides to eat my posts #roleplayerproblems ]

Ebony had walked into the kitchen from her room to grab a snack she could take back to her room where she planned on finishing her history paper and finishing up her night with a movie on Netflix. It'd been a weird few weeks though. She'd gotten a weird message from Zayn about how he wasn't sure them being friends was a good idea so she'd been pretty much avoiding him and Lindsey for the last few weeks so she wouldn't have to have any awkward moments with him. It had been proving to be difficult though with him spending all his time here with Lindsey but so far she had avoided him. And she hadn't even really known where the message came from, or why Zayn had all of a sudden changed his mind about them being friends, but she really didn't want to question that because it would just be awkward to ask.
Liam had totally had a blast at the beach, and then later that night on his date with Maisie. So much fun actually that they'd planned another date, however with the sudden burst of homework they'd both had they hadn't really had the chance to plan when it would be. And he felt kind of bad that he'd hardly had time for her lately, but well sometimes college was just overwhelming. However when he was actually done with his reading, and the like five papers he had due by the end of the week and saw that it wasn't that late he decided to text her.

    Hey.

    [So annoying!]

When Zayn walked back up to his room, it was dark and all he could see was the light coming from his phone that was landing on Lindsey's face. He walked into the room and she quickly dropped his phone, leaning up a bit as she smiled at him. "What were you doing?" He asked, grinning at her as he plopped onto the bed beside her.

"Oh, nothing," she said quickly as she leaned to face him. "Just had to check the Kappa Facebook page." He didn't know why she'd be using his phone instead of her own, but she was always complaining about how her phone battery life was shit.
Maisie was walking down the stairs as she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out and, finding that it was Liam, sent him a quick text back with a simple "hey". She probably should have used whatever day rule the girls had been talking about since Liam had taken so long to talk to her, but she couldn't keep track anymore of what she should and shouldn't do.

    [ Yep. ]

Ebony was ripping up a slice of cheese with a bag of pretzels under her arm while she made her way back to her room and plopping onto her bed. She would've given anything right now to know what had changed Zayn's mind all of a sudden, because knowing why she had gotten the message from him or why it just seemed like Lindsey was throwing her relationship with Zayn in her face more than Ebony cared to count might put her mind at ease a little. But it was like he didn't want to hang around her anymore and Lindsey couldn't help but remind Ebony that Zayn was with her and wanted nothing to do with Ebony. And really it was getting old but she didn't really know what to do about it other than avoid them the best she could.
So what're you doing? And I'm so sorry about being mia the past few days. I've been swarmed with homework.

Liam was quick to reply to her glad that she'd actually responded actually halfway feeling like she wouldn't because of some weird girl code or something. He didn't really know much about that but he was pretty sure there was some kind of unspoken girl code that all girls just somehow knew, sorta of like the guy code that guys knew. Luckily if there was one it wasn't coming into play tonight. Plus he really did feel bad that he'd pretty much been mia thanks to homework and class. They'd texted some, but it'd mostly been really short replies from him if he remembered to reply at all. And this had been one of the reason's he'd been so iffy about getting involved with a freshman, he waned to have time for her but sometimes he might not. However he was trying to work past that and just be happy that they were trying to make things work rather than not trying at all.

"They always need you for something, don't they?" Zayn said with a laugh as he began peppering kisses all along Lindsey's neck. Even though they'd been seeing each other exclusively for a few weeks, they hadn't made anything official and, surprisingly enough, they still hadn't had sex. Zayn was comfortable with taking things slow with her, feeling like he was finally ready for a serious relationship again after the heartbreak he'd been through with Ebony.
Just finished up with my paper. That's alright, the joys of being in college.

Maisie decided to just raid the fridge since she was kicked out of her room until Elizabeth and her boyfriend's romp was over, which usually lasted much longer than what Maisie thought was humanly possible. There was nothing in the fridge, not a surprise considering half the girls didn't eat, so Maisie just went and sat on the sofa instead, playing on Facebook and Twitter.

Ebony bit her lip as she scrolled through facebook, she hadn't planned on getting on the social website at all since it always seemed to be more dramatic than anything and tended to annoy her. But tonight seeing as she couldn't find a movie to watch and and had already finished up her homework for the weekend she decided to get on. Only it was rather depressing really. There were a ton of pictures of Lindsey and Zayn the pair had clearly taken together recently posted all over the kappa's page with everyone commenting on how adorable they were together, and she couldn't help but roll her eyes at how some of the girls were saying they were cuter than him and Ebony had ever been. There were some other kind of rude comments on too, and finally she just logged out for the night and tossed her phone on the dresser. She'd admit it really hurt that as soon as she'd made her up mind and decided to go along with her dad's advice and just ignore her feelings and be friends with Zayn no matter what it led to she got a text that he couldn't be her friend because it was too hard for him. And it sucked trying to avoid him just so she didn't feel awkward or needy or anything if she were to try and ask him why he didn't want to be her friend. But she was dealing with it as best she could.
Right! Lol. I just finally finished reading and writing a five page paper for my English class. It was awful.

Liam didn't really have a problem with school, he didn't mind doing the work most of the time, but there were times especially this year now that it was his last year where he just didn't want to do anything. He wanted to cuddle next to his possibly soon to be girlfriend and watch Netflix or something. He wanted to ignore than soon he'd be graduating and leaving to head off into the real world where he'd have to get a job and pay for more than what he was paying now. He'd have to find a place to live and wouldn't really have nearly as much free time as he had right now. But the last few days all he'd been able to worry about was classes and his future. So maybe tonight he should just relax a little. And he would've maybe asked Zayn to play video games with him or something, but lately he'd been spending so much time with Lindsey that Liam didn't ever know if Zayn would even be available to hang out or not.

Do you want to come over? We haven't really seen each other in a few days and it's kind of lonely here :(

"Are you hungry?" Zayn asked Lindsey as he nuzzled his face against her neck. He always had a pretty big appetite, which tended to be annoying for the girls he dated because he could eat whatever he wanted without gaining weight while they always had to tone it down. Zayn was pretty sure every girl he'd dated had put on at least 5 pounds in the first month they were together. It was just part of being with him. "I could fix us up a little late night snack."

Lindsey nodded her head, reaching her fingers up to scratch against his scalp. If she wasn't careful, Zayn would just fall asleep like that. He loved the feeling of having his hair played with, even if it always messed it up. "That sounds lovely," she said, tilting her head to kiss his cheek. "Just hurry back."

Zayn nodded back before getting off the bed and pressing a kiss to the top of her forehead. "I will, I swear." He took a step towards the door before turning back with a smile. "Don't miss me too much."
Yeah, I can do that. I'll be there in 5

Maisie sent him a quick text back, not wanting to sound too desperate considering they hadn't spoken much in the past few days. She'd spent quite a lot of time worrying that she'd done something wrong or she'd been too clingy or a million other things that she heard guys complain about before. She tried to ignore those thoughts as she headed over to the Alpha house, happy to have a reason not to go back to her room where Elizabeth and her boyfriend were, probably mid intercourse.

Ebony could not have been happier to be walking into the alpha house than she was right now. Her entire day had been awfully boring and long. She pretty much hadn't left her room all day she'd been so worked up on finishing her papers and all her math homework. So she'd pretty much all but jumped at Chase's offer to come over and hang out for the night really needing to be around someone and out of her room.

"I know where everything is, I've been here before remember." Ebony joked with Chase as she got up to head into the kitchen and make them some snacks while he set everything up for them to do whatever it was they were doing. They hadn't really decided on if they wanted to play video games or watch a movie, but either way they'd need snacks.
    Awesome :)

Liam wasn't sure he could've been happier about Maisie coming over. He hadn't seen her in a few days for one so it'd be nice to see her again, and he was so sick of school work and stressing over it that he knew he needed someone to do something with to help him relax a little. And somehow even if he and Maisie ended up just talking all night even if it was about school or something he didn't see how it could make him anymore stressed than he already was. Though talking about that stuff with anyone else would probably push him over the edge right now. Maisie just kind of got it he supposed, and he was pretty sure it might've had something to do with her pretty much being his girlfriend even if they hadn't made anything official or said they were exclusive yet. Which might've been something they should talk about soon.

Zayn was happy that this time he'd be cooking in his own kitchen instead of the Kappa kitchen, because now he actually knew where everything was and knew that they actually had food that wasn't some sort of diet shake or celery. He got out all of the ingredients to make grilled cheese and turned on the stove before pouring a glass of ginger ale for both him and Lindsey.
As she walked into the Alpha house and found that there were actually people there, she thought that maybe she should have had Liam meet her at the door or at least knock. Luckily, no one seemed to notice her presence or else they just didn't care, so she walked up the stairs and tried to remember which of the rooms was actually Liam's. After taking an educated guess, she tapped her fist on the door and tapper her foot on the floor as she waited.

Ebony bit her lip and tried to go unnoticed by Zayn she saw him in the kitchen. Sure it was just Zayn and it wasn't like he'd likely yell at her or get mad that she was there like he might have before they'd talked everything over. But he'd also still told her that he didn't want her in his life and so she'd been trying to avoid him so things wouldn't be awkward. This felt awkward though, and she couldn't just leave the kitchen without snacks to take back to Chase for their night of whatever the hell they were doing because well the last time Chase got involved in anything related to her and Zayn they'd ended up locked in the kitchen until they talked everything over. So really Ebony was hoping she could just get some snacks and leave without being noticed so she wouldn't have to feel more uncomfortable or make it obvious that she was trying to avoid him.
Liam had been laying in his bed tossing a tennis ball up in the air while he waited for Maisie to get there, and actually he'd been tossing the ball around for the past hour at least bored out of his wits trying to pass time and think of how to finish his last paragraph of his paper. However when he heard the knock at his door he dropped the ball and went to answer it smiling at the lovely girl on the other side. "Hey." He said stepping out of the way so she could come in and they could get down to however they were gonna be spending the evening.

Zayn was basically a master at making grilled cheese after cooking for himself for many years now, so he had both sides perfectly browned and the cheese all nice and melted in the middle. He wasn't sure if Lindsey would want hers cut in half or not, so he left it whole just to be on the safe side. He really should have gotten a tray or something, because he'd have to make two trips to carry both of their plates and drinks back to his room.
Maisie couldn't help but smile when Liam opened the door. She tucked her hair behind her ear as she followed him into his quaint little bedroom. "Hey," she said back, stepping towards the middle of the floor before she turned back to him. She wasn't sure what he had planned or if they'd even be staying in the Alpha house, so she stood there waiting to follow his lead.

Ebony kept her gaze away from Zayn while she raided the cabinet for snacks. And when she did happen to catch his eye for a quick moment she sent the best smile his way but knowing it'd looked forced since it was. She wasn't exactly happy about the whole not being in his life thing. But she'd figured if it was really what he wanted then she'd just go with it. Even if it made things awkward when they were alone together like right now.
Liam turned to walk over to his desk and plop into the chair once they were both in his room. He didn't really have any plans to go out but if Maisie did want to leave and do something he wouldn't oppose. "So how's life been over at the kappa house all week?" He asked feeling like he didn't know what was happening with anyone anymore. He hadn't been to a party or really seen any of his friends other than Zayn all week though.

Zayn hardly noticed Ebony in the kitchen as he was finishing gathering up he and Lindsey's food. He thought that maybe she'd come to hang out with Jake, since he'd seen the two of them on their date on the beach, but they hadn't really talked much in the past few weeks, so she could be moved onto another guy for all he knew. Juggling the glasses of ginger ale tucked under his arm, Zayn picked up one plate with his free hand and struggled to get the other in his ginger ale hand, but just barely managed to do it.
"It's been good," Maisie said with a nod of her head. It had been somewhat lonely having not heard from him, but it really wasn't any different than before she'd known him. It was still a bunch of girls talking about guys, hooking up with guys and crying over guys. "Lindsey's been really happy since her and Zayn got together, so things have actually been pretty peaceful."

"Do you need some help with that?" Ebony finally asked Zayn biting her lip as she watched him struggle. "I know you don't want to be friends or anything but you look like you could use some help." She said feeling awful still that he didn't want to be friends, even though she didn't know what she'd done wrong to make him not want her around again. She hadn't been mean to Lindsey, of course she also hadn't really talked to Lindsey either. Truthfully Ebony didn't know what had happened but she also hadn't questioned it because she knew whatever he told her would make it hurt worse.
"Well that's good. And I'm glad things have been peaceful thanks to Lindsey and Zayn dating. Though I've hardly seen Zayn at all since they got together. He's always off with Lindsey or something so we haven't really hung out as much but I'm not that bothered by it. I'm happy for him finally finding someone to be with." Liam said, no matter how much he didn't really like Lindsey, or how much he'd been rooting for Ebony and Zayn to get back together just because he'd known how happy they were before everything fell apart he was still happy that Zayn had moved on and found someone else if that's what made him happy. "Which does kind of bring up a question I have." He added biting his lip, "maybe we should talk about us."

"Oh, yeah, that'd be great," Zayn said, tilting his elbow so Ebony could try to set the plate on top of it. He'd never know how waiters could carry so much shit, but he hoped that he could at least carry his and Lindsey's snack to his room without making a mess all over the floor. "Thanks for that. Lins and I were hungry so I tried to make us a snack. I was hoping to just bring it to bed so she wouldn't have to get up, but I didn't really think that through all the way."
