Ebony smiled when the blonde thanked her and apparently her hair was naturally blonde, which Ebony supposed wasn't that shocking since it wasn't some Malfoy platinum hair or anything. Oh and apparently her name was Elizabeth, and she thought Ebony was a pretty name. Harry finally got finished with their breakfast and sat the plate in front of her and kissed her cheek while he handed her a fork.

"You're so sweet Harry." She said smiling at him before turning her attention back to Elizabeth and Zayn for a while. "So Elizabeth I know that Zayn's pancakes are pretty great. But I promise they're nothing compared to Harry's omelets. You should try some. I'd feel awful if you didn't get try it." Ebony told her using the fork to cut her off some of the omelet keeping the blonde's attention longer.

Ebony was pretty sure Harry knew what she was trying to do by now and was just playing along too. Of course he might have some feelings for her that he just hadn't told her about and this was real for him. Truthfully she didn't know, and thinking about that made her feel bad about using him to try and get back at Zayn but surely he knew that if he didn't want to be part of her schemes he didn't have to take part in them. She could find someone else to sting along if she really needed to. Which also sounded bad thinking about it, but she was beyond caring right now.
Liam smiled at Maisie when she walked over to him and he wasn't really sure what to say to her. He remembered her vaguely from the party last night, but he couldn't really say it was a good experience. He'd been so drunk and didn't really remember much about last night but honestly he'd probably freaked her out or spent half the night gushing over Ebony like he had the tendency to do when he was drunk.

He wasn't really sure if he should ask if he gushed over her last night or not. Of course he couldn't really remember if he'd even actually spoken to her which was sad and always the worst part about getting as drunk as he tended to do. Waking up the next morning with a massive hangover and blurred memories. But at least he was sure he hadn't slept with anyone, and if he had then she was long gone by the time he'd woken up so he'd probably never see her again if he had.

"So it looks like we're working together." He said licking his lips and smiling at her. He hadn't really expected Lindsey to rope him into cleaning too since there were plenty of underclass men to do it but he didn't really have any other plans and the house really did need to be clean so he wasn't going to put up a fight about it either.

Zayn was glaring at Ebony for quite a few seconds before he caught himself and stopped. He didn't know why she insisted on trying to hold the blonde's attention like somehow she'd be the one to sleep with her instead. If Ebony wanted to make friends with all of Zayn's one night stands and create an I Hate Zayn Club then that was her own deal. He didn't have to be around to see it.

"Well, Elizabeth, was it? You probably should be going soon. I've got class."
"Looks like we are," Maisie said simply, still not sure if he recognized her or not. He was pretty drunk and surely met loads of girls at parties, so Maisie had no reason to think she wasn't just a face in the crowd. She thought to save some confusion she'd just introduce herself, though with the way things went last night, she wasn't really sure it mattered. "I'm Maisie, by the way."

Ebony watched for a moment as Zayn pulled the girls attention, before Elizabeth was agreeing that she needed to leave soon too because she also had class to get to. And before she'd had a chance to try the omelet she was telling Zayn and Ebony goodbye and leaving. Once she was out the door though Ebony smiled sweetly at Zayn and spoke.

"You shouldn't look so annoyed Zayn. It doesn't really look good on you."
"I remember you from the party last night." Liam told her biting his lip. "You came with Ebony, and I'm sure I was gushing about her all night." He said sighing, he didn't know why he did that when he was drunk. Gushed about Ebony like one day maybe she'd date him or something, especially since sober he knew that would never happen.

"I just want to let you know that I'm not in love with her anything. Not that it would matter if I was or not I guess. Just know that I'm not. All my feelings for her are strictly platonic. Plus she's my best friends ex girlfriend and honestly he'd probably kill me if anything ever did happen with us." He added not wanting to think about what might happen if he and Ebony ever did hook up.

"You shouldn't look so desperate, Ebony. You look much prettier when you have standards." There was a fire in Zayn's body and he simply couldn't stand to look at her any longer. Who did she think she was coming into his house and trying to make him feel like shit? He hated the effect she had on him - it was one of the reasons he tried to avoid her in the first place.

With his eyes practically blinded, he walked out of the kitchen as quickly as he could and headed out of the house and onto the hot pavement of the sidewalk. He'd get to class early, but it was better than staying inside with her there.
Maisie found that hard to believe with how much he had talked about her last night. Drunk words were sober feelings or whatever that old saying was. He was probably just another guy in love with his sorority sisters and too much of a bro to do anything about it. "Well, that's good to know," Maisie said as she bent over to pick up a few of the beer cans off the floor and throw them in the trash.

Ebony was quick to storm out of the kitchen in the opposite direction into the living room where everyone else already was and groaned loudly when she saw everyone already in there split off into pairs cleaning. And suddenly she was annoyed with the thought of cleaning, especially since Zayn lived in the house they were cleaning and well he really was her least favorite person.

She didn't even bother finding Lindsey to ask where to go or anything, rather just grabbed a bag and started picking things up and throwing them away because even though she would've rather slammed a few doors shut and stormed home she knew Lindsey knew she was there and would get upset if she left without helping. And the sooner this was all done the sooner she could leave.
Liam was going to reply to Maisie before he was slightly distracted by Zayn rushing out the front door and letting it slam behind him and then Ebony's groan of annoyance as soon as she walked into everyone cleaning. Clearly they'd had some kind of an argument or something already this morning and Liam could only hope that this wasn't the beginning of world war 3.

He turned his attention back to Maisie though wanting to pretend that nothing had happened, because honestly it was probably better for them both if they didn't know. "So do you like being a kappa?" He asked her deciding to attempt and make small talk rather than not talk and have this possibly be the most awkward cleaning partnership he'd ever had in the four years he'd been stuck cleaning up the day after parties.

Zayn honestly didn't know what he was going to do with Ebony, and it was all he could think about all through class, completely ruining his day. He hated that even though they'd been broken up for all this time, he still couldn't stop thinking about her.
Maisie and Liam had gotten off to such a bad start that she wasn't sure why he was even trying to talk to her. She may have just been a freshman, but that didn't mean that she was stupid. There were plenty of guys at her high school, after all. "Listen, Liam, you seem nice and everything, and I don't mean to just assume anything about you and I, but I'm not going to sleep with you knowing full well how you feel about Ebony. It's nothing towards you or anything. I'm sure you understand."

Ebony spent the morning throwing beer cans and solo cups into a trash bag pissed off. She hated seeing Zayn with other girls, and especially pretty girls like Elizabeth. Even if this was pretty much the first time she'd actually been in the same room as him since the break up she still hated it. Just seeing him make pancakes and cut up strawberries for someone else pissed her off. That had always been their thing and he was sharing it with someone else. And it pissed her off more that he never made breakfast for his one night stands, hell it'd taken him nearly five months before he ever made her breakfast after she stayed the night but Elizabeth wasn't even his girlfriend and he made her breakfast after sleeping together one fucking time.
Liam was taken by surprise really. And he felt kind of embarrassed really. "I wasn't trying to get you to sleep with me." He told her biting his lip, "I mean we just met and unlike most guys I don't sleep around so I'm sorry if I came on to strong. And honestly Ebony is a very touchy subject around here, I mean we've been friends since her freshman year, she's my best friends ex, plus, unless they broke up her brother's dating my sister and it'd be weird if they got married or something. But I totally understand where you're coming from." He told her knowing things might be a lot different right now if they hadn't met when he was wasted.

When Zayn got out of his class, he prayed to god that the Kappa girls were done cleaning, because he did not want to see Ebony and couldn't stand to try to kill anymore time. He tried to ignore all thoughts of Ebony as he walked up to the house. The girls were still there, unfortunately, but he thought he might be able to sneak by and just head up to his room.
"Well, I'm glad we're on the same page then," Maisie said simply before picking up more beer cans and throwing them in the trash. She honestly didn't know what to do with Liam considering they certainly weren't getting along well and every time they did talk it was something about Ebony.

Ebony had never been the type of girl to give up anything without some kind of fight, and she hated losing but after this morning she honestly wasn't sure if she could do it. She'd been going out of her way since the break up to avoid Zayn or possibly seeing Zayn with anyone else. She'd taken any and all pictures of them together and put them in a box so she wouldn't have to see them because she didn't have the heart to burn them. And she'd tried to forget about him really. But just being at that party, seeing him with someone else this morning, and realizing that they weren't together and were both at liberty to be with other people made her jealous. And she hated that. Because she didn't want to be jealous, she didn't want to spend her days jealous that Zayn was with some other girl and that this other girl might make him happy but she couldn't.
"Me too." Liam said glad they were both on the same page about something, even though this still felt like the most awkward conversation he'd ever had in his life. "So I have a suggestion," he started as he picked up a few solo cups and threw them away. "How about we start over because clearly we haven't gotten off on the right foot here and well I don't want there to be tension or awkwardness every time we're in a room together." He added hoping this wasn't weirder. Liam was friendly and hated tension with people, it was always so uncomfortable and well who really liked to be uncomfortable. And seeing as she was a kappa and all he was sure he'd be seeing her again soon. They were all always attending parties or other events together and honestly Liam thought it'd be in both their best interests if things weren't weird with them.

The moment Zayn walked in the door, he saw Ebony again. She was in the living room attempting to scrub up the beer stained coffee table. Her hair was falling in her eyes and the top of her forehead was just a little bit sweaty. For a moment, he froze in the doorway, just standing there with the door wide opened and the sun falling down through the door, landing on her perfectly. He froze for a moment until he shook his head, snapping himself out of his trance.
Maisie paused for a moment, biting her lip gently. She wasn't sure if they really needed a starting over, because the whole thing seemed rather pointless at that point, but maybe he knew something she didn't. She didn't want to get a reputation as the Kappa bitch, so she nodded her head gently and looked at him. "That sounds like a good idea." She paused again while she bit her lip more tightly. "On one condition though."

"Why won't this stupid stain come off!" Ebony whined moving her hair out of her face and throwing the cloth down on the table in defeat. She'd been here all morning helping clean and was beyond annoyed at this point. She'd been so pissed off after the whole Zayn thing that she'd told Lindsey not to pair her with anyone. She was a big girl anyways and she could clean on her own. But now she was more just annoyed with everything than pissed, other than with the stain on the coffee table, she was just pissed about that. And she was so caught up with cleaning she didn't even notice Zayn get back from class.
Liam smiled glad she agreed, even if it was only for something silly like so she didn't look bad. At least she was giving him a chance to start over and totally not come off as the weird drunk guy she met at a party. Plus he was sure he could give a much better first impression sober than he could drunk. "Okay, and what would this one condition be?" He asked her wondering what condition she could possibly have, though he was sure it couldn't be something insane that he wouldn't be okay with so he'd probably go along with it.

The last thing he wanted was to interact with Ebony in anyway, even though he knew that stain had been there since his freshman year, so he slammed the door behind him and went upstairs first thing, only to be stopped by Lindsey when he reached the top.

"Ah, ah, ah," she said smiling at him while she shook her head. "Where do you think you're going?"

"To my room?" He asked, though he knew that probably was not the right answer.

"Not while there's still cleaning to be done!" She grabbed onto Zayn's elbow and pulled him back downstairs. "I have a job I've been saving just for you." She squeezed onto his biceps and smiled wider. "I need a big, strong man."
Maisie almost felt bad for saying, but, she actually didn't. If they were going to get along, he was going to have to tone it down a little bit. "No matter how in love with her you are, you absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, talk about Ebony when you're around me." He didn't say anything so she continued, chuckling a bit as she shrugged her shoulders. "No offense, but it's like every other sentence with you. It's a little bit annoying."

Ebony had given up on this stupid coffee table and about had it with cleaning in general honestly so she was planning to ask Lindsey if she really had to be here any longer and then leave. The day might've started off good, but well it wasn't so good anymore.

"Lindsey there you are." She said scrunching up her nose a little when she noticed she was pulling Zayn back down the stairs, probably to make him help clean like everyone else. Which could only mean that it wasn't likely she'd let her leave until the place was spotless, and that sounded even worse now knowing he was home. It'd been pretty clear that morning after all that they didn't know how to get along.
"None taken. And well I'm not in love with her, but you have my word that I won't talk about her when you're around." Liam told her knowing that was a small price to pay for a second chance. Plus well given Zayn got all pissy the second anyone mentioned her he'd learnt to just go along with him and not talk about her around him too so it wouldn't be that hard. There were plenty of other things for them to talk about anyways, and well really it was usually just him talking about her so he'd just find something else to talk about. Because the world didn't revolve around Ebony, and it would really weird if it did.

When Ebony walked up to Zayn and Lindsey, he wondered if she had made it her day's mission to try to make him feel miserable. First, she'd slept with Harry and flaunted it in front of him, only reminding him of why they broke up in the first place, and now she just wouldn't leave him alone so he could forget about her.

"What is it?" Lindsey asked Ebony, oblivious to the tension between her and Zayn.

Before Ebony could say anything, Zayn turned full bodied to Lindsey, putting Ebony out of his sight. "What did you need me to do?"

"Hold on a second," Lindsey said to Zayn, laughing at bit as she spoke. "What did you need, Ebs?"
"Well, as long as we're both in agreement, then I think we're all set," Maisie said, giving Liam a quick smile before she picked up the last of the beer bottles. She wiped her hands against the back of her shorts before looking up at Liam again. "I honestly don't know why you guys bother cleaning. Won't it just happen again at the next party?"

Ebony did her best to not let Zayn's existence bother her, but well she was still upset with him and it did bother her. However she planned to ask to leave and if she did then she wouldn't have to be around him any longer which was something she was sure they both wanted.

"I just wanted to ask if I could leave. And I figured I should ask instead of just leaving." She said knowing that Lindsey was always the one in charge of a lot of things, and she wasn't one Ebony wanted to upset by bailing on something, even if it was just cleaning. Plus seeing that Zayn was back from class the last thing Ebony wanted was to be here breathing the same air as him any longer than she had to.
"Great." Liam said tying up the trash bag once it was full of all the beer bottles, cans, and solo cups they'd picked up. Sadly though this was only one part of the cleaning process and there was still a lot to be done. There were chips crunched into the floor that needed to be vacuumed up, salsa that should probably be thrown away, and Liam was also positive that the couch should be cleaned with the vacuumed too since there was no telling what all was in-between the cushions. "Yea I'm sure the place will be a mess again after the next party too." He said chuckling some, "but we have to have the place looking nice in-between parties." He told her not really sure why that was since it wasn't like they did much other than party but it was just how it'd always been. And Liam did kind of like it that way since as much as he loved to party and have a good time, he liked living in a clean house just as much.

Nothing with Lindsey was ever easy, and Zayn really didn't feel like standing around and listening to her and Ebony argue about whether or not she cleaned enough to be relieved of her duties. Zayn turned to Lindsey, completely ignoring Ebony's presence again, and spoke. "I'll be in the kitchen when you're ready." Before Lindsey could complain, Zayn stepped away and towards the kitchen, where he passed Harry, who was headed to the living room.
"You know, for being a frat full of guys, you keep this place a lot cleaner than I'd expect," Maisie said as she tossed her hands on her hips. "Is there something you need to tell me, Liam?"

"Please just stay another hour at least. This place is a total mess." Lindsey said giving her pouty face to get what she wanted.

Ebony didn't really want to stay any longer, and she didn't want to have another run in with Zayn which she was sure would have if she was here, but telling Lindsey no was a rare thing and usually even if you told her no you'd still get roped into doing whatever it was she wanted you to do. "Fine."

"Thank you. Now I have to get to the kitchen to tell Zayn what I need him to do, but if you could attack the kitchen with your cleaning then when that's done you can go home if you still want to." Lindsey said before she was dragging Ebony into the kitchen much to Ebony's dismay. Clearly Lindsey still hadn't realized that her and Zayn didn't want to be anywhere near one another, or maybe she had picked up on it but had some kind of devious plan to get them to be civil. Ebony was never sure about things when it came to Lindsey.
"That I'm a neat freak and can't stand living in houses full of filth." Liam said laughing lightly, and that was true. He hated when the place was dirty and smelly. Even if it was a frat house full of guys and normally it'd always be a mess Liam couldn't stand it like that. "Some of the guys might be okay with it being dirty and all and when I'm gone and someone else is in charge of throwing parties and finding people to help clean up the next day they can deal with it. If they don't wanna find people to clean and whatnot then it won't be my problem anymore. But while I'm here this place will be clean." He told her knowing it might not have been normal for a guy to be such a clean freak, but that was just Liam for ya.

The unmistakeable clack of the heels that Lindsey insisted on wearing filled Zayn's ears, and he turned around to find her with her hands on her hips, ready to boss him around again. "Now," Lindsey said, taking another step towards Zayn as she batter her eyelashes at him. "Can you help me with this garbage disposal? Somebody must have stuck something down there and I need a big, strong man like yourself to help me," Lindsey finished with a wink, giggling a bit as she ran her hand over Zayn's bicep again. Did Lindsey have a crush on him? this could work in his favor.
"When you're gone?" Maisie asked, tilting her head to the side. "Where are you going? You're not leaving the frat, are you?" Maisie had heard of people leaving the greek life before, but not all that often. Lindsey talked about it like it was some sort of horror story that could leave an entire house in shame.

Ebony had followed Lindsey into the kitchen to clean it like Lindsey wanted her to. And really she was kind appalled. Of course Ebony knew that Zayn was an attractive guy, and she understood why girls were attracted to him. However seeing one of her sorority sisters totally coming onto him got under her skin more than seeing him hook up with some random girl at a party. She hadn't wanted to be in the same room as Zayn to begin with even if it was just to clean and not that big a deal. But she really didn't want to be in the same room as either of them now since he was probably enjoying it. "I can't do this." Ebony muttered setting down the cleaning supplies and shaking her head. Seeing Zayn with someone she didn't know didn't bother her nearly as much as seeing him with someone she did. And it all sounded so stupid but this was exactly why she hadn't even wanted to go to the party last night. Because she hadn't wanted there to be a possibility of seeing him with someone else, or for that someone else to be someone she knew.
"Well I mean not until the end of the year. I am a senior after all and can't really be a frat boy for the rest of my life. I don't think I could imagine not being in the frat my last year here though." Liam told her chuckling some, honestly he couldn't imagine not being in the frat his last year of college.

If the way Ebony stormed out of the kitchen was any indication, Zayn's plan to piss her off through Lindsey had seemingly worked. And even better than he had expected at that. Knowing he has really, truly pissed her off made him feel better than he had in a long time. With the way she had hurt him by sleeping both during after their relationship, he thought it was the perfect pay back.
"Oh, I didn't realize you were a senior," Maisie said softly, her face growing a little red in embarrassment. Her accusations that he wanted to sleep with her seemed even more ridiculous knowing he was roughly four years older than her. He obviously had much better things to do than hang out with freshman. "That's quite exciting. Congratulations."
