"I'm not with Harry! I don't have any feelings for him, and I never have. But if you really want nothing do to with me then fine. I'll leave you be to do whatever the hell it is you're doing." Ebony said trying to choke back the flood of tears wanting to make their way to the surface, but she turned on her heel to leave Zayn and Lindsey to whatever letting everything out as soon as her back was to them. And even though she felt awful and hadn't really cried over Zayn in forever maybe this was the first step to really letting him go. One thing she was certain of though was that she needed another drink.
Liam nodded his head. "It was kind of." He said laughing softly, she had after all kind of had really puckered lips and just the look on her face that clearly said she didn't like it but wanted to try and pretend she did. "Well that's good, and you're welcome, again." He added knowing for sure now not to make the drinks so strong if he fixed them for Maisie again since she was still being eased into the world of drinking and he really didn't want to overwhelm her or anything.

As Ebony walked away, Zayn let out a long sigh, rubbing his hands against his eyes. He was sick of Ebony, all her lies and how even after all this time she still wasn't willing to let it go. It was like she didn't even care that she had hurt him, just that she'd gotten caught, and it made Zayn wonder why he even cared in the first place, since she clearly didn't care about him, only herself.

After another sigh, he turned to Lindsey again, who had a look of confusion on her face. When she noticed Zayn looking at her, she looked back and gave him an apathetic smile, something he never expected to see from her. "It's okay, Zayn," she said softly. "I've seen them together too."
"So, what do people usually do at things like this?" Maisie asked, looking around the yard as she took a sip of her drink. Kappas and Alphas were strewn throughout the area, most of them with a drink in their hand while they stood around and chatted or danced. "Besides drink, I mean." In the few parties she'd been to with her sorority sisters, it seemed like all they did was drink and hook up, and maybe dance a little.

Ebony walked over to the drink table to fix herself something strong enough to just help her forget. She couldn't keep doing this, trying to make Zayn understand that she hadn't slept with Harry while they were together because apparently no matter how many times she told him wouldn't matter. Yes she might've danced all over him, sat in his lap, and probably whispered something about how she was drunk in his ear at a Halloween party last year. And maybe she had some kind of look in her eyes then that Zayn took as her wanting to sleeping with Harry, she could hardly remember that party. What she did remember though was that she didn't leave with Harry, she didn't sleep with Harry, and Harry was the farthest thing from her mind. Like he always was.

What Ebony hated most was that Harry was her friend, they had some classes together and worked on a couple of things outside of class with one another. Something she could never do with Zayn because the only class they'd had together in the now 3 years of attending school with one another was English their freshman year when they'd first met. But that's all Harry had been, a friend. They did homework together, talked about things friends talk about, and complained about how law, sociology, and business were difficult and sometimes they questioned why they were interested in things so difficult. Even though Ebony wasn't studying law or business like Harry, she was studying sociology and it wasn't really the easiest thing in the world. And maybe at some point Harry developed feelings for her, but she never returned them. She just didn't feel romantically connected to Harry at all. Yet Zayn didn't believe her.
"Truthfully not much." Liam told her after thinking about it for a minute and realizing that was pretty much all they did. They drank, they listened to really loud music, danced, and usually someone was hooking up with someone else. "I mean there's dancing, drinking, people attempting to talk, and usually someone's night ends in a hook up they'll either regret in the morning or won't remember. Some people hook up and are cool with it the next morning but a lot of the times one or both people are so drunk they can't even believe they hooked up at all the next morning so they totally regret it." He told her remembering quite a few times Liam had woken up the morning after a party to see girls leaving the house only to hear an hour after they'd left from his friend how he must've really been drunk because he hadn't been looking for a hook up and didn't even remember the girls name.

Zayn was happy to have Lindsey there as a distraction from all the mess. Sure, she could be rather annoying, but she was a very good looking girl, and Zayn was only reminded of that by how good she looked in her bikini. If he was going to have a good time at any party for the rest of his college career, he was going to have to move on from Ebony and get her out of his life as best he could.

"So, where is that dance you promised me?" Zayn asked, smiling down at Lindsey who was quickly smirking back at him.

"I had a different kind of dancing in mind," Lindsey said with a wink. Although Zayn thought Lindsey was gorgeous and would be happy to sleep with her, he wasn't sure he was quite ready to ditch the party yet.
Maisie had never had a college hook up before, though she knew many of her sorority sisters that had. Many times, she had either seen boys leaving the house or her sisters coming back early the next morning. It seemed one night stands were a regular occurrence on Greek Row, though Maisie didn't think it was anything she wanted to be a part of.

"I guess it's better than playing pin the tail on the donkey or something," Maisie said, shrugging her shoulders, though she didn't know if that was entirely true. She couldn't imagine going to more than 10 of these things without getting bored, which was probably why people hooked up all of the time. There was nothing else to do.

Ebony tossed back her drink and started to fix another one when it was taken from her hands, and she would've yelled at them if she hadn't saw it was Chase.

"If you want to take your mind off him maybe you should dance with me rather than drink him away." He told her offering his hand, which she took though she wasn't sure dancing with Chase would help her forget about Zayn.

"I take it you saw that blow up then." She said softly pretty sure everyone had seen it and was probably just ignoring it because everyone had known her and Zayn hadn't really been on good terms for a while, and really they probably all thought it was just a matter of time before one of them blew up anyways.

"Yea, I don't think it was that bad though. Plus I mean you guy's were together forever and clearly you're both just hurt. You're hurt that even after everything he didn't think he could trust you around Harry, and he's hurt because he thought there was something with you and Harry and you have to think Harry was one of his best friends. Even if nothing ever actually went on he's also probably hurt because he thought you were closer to Harry than him. Seeing you with Harry probably tore him apart inside because even if you were just friends, Harry had feelings for you and Zayn could see that. Plus it's so obvious that Zayn loves you but it just hurt him too much to handle thinking that you might love his friend more. I know you probably don't want me telling you this, but well someone needed to step in help before you two end up killing one another or something."
"Considering I haven't played that game since I was like five and at a birthday party I'd say that it's a lot cooler than playing pin the tail on the donkey." Liam said laughing a bit. "After a while the parties do get a little boring. But around like holidays and things those are always the best parties because they're actually more things going on. Like at Halloween there's always costume parties which are fun, and we do things like bobbing for apples and I think some people even carve pumpkins which might sound lame but it's always fun. It's just usually the parties in between holidays that get kind of dull after a while." He said shrugging his shoulder some. Liam never really planned the huge fun parties so he wouldn't even know what to do. Really usually when he decided to throw a party it was because he'd had a long week or just ended finals or something and thought it was a good enough reason to drink.

"You're awfully eager to get out of here," Zayn said, attempting to distract her. It wasn't that he didn't want to sleep with her; it was the issue of them most likely being awake for several hours after they did. "Don't want to share me?"

Lindsey chuckled, flipping her hair as she ran her hand over Zayn's bicep. "I can pretty jealous at times," she said as she batted her eyelashes at him. Zayn didn't fail to notice how much she was flirting with him, but he wasn't ready to go upstairs just yet. "What do you say we make this a little more interesting," Lindsey continued before she was turning around and hopping on one of the tables, clapping her hands to get everyone's attention.

    "Attention, all Kappas and Alphas!"
"I haven't been lucky enough to go to any of those yet," Maisie said as she pressed her lips together. "I think this is the most interesting one I've been to, and it's really more of a disaster." As soon as Maisie was done speaking, her attention was drawn to the other side of the party, where Lindsey was making a show of standing on the table and getting everyone's attention. Maisie didn't know what was going on, but she was sure Lindsey had something insidious planned to make her awful party even worse.

Ebony listened to Chase kind of shocked that he had such great insight to the whole ordeal. "How on earth do you know so much?" She asked though she was sure it had something to do with having his own heart broken or something along those lines.

"Let's just leave it at I've been in a similar situation. And just know that if you and Zayn were meant to be together even after all of this you'll find your way back to one another. I also want you to know that me asking you for coffee earlier was just as friends, you're a beautiful girl and I'm sure guys fawn over you all the time but I can see that you need a friend and not someone who'll just make things more difficult than they already are."

Ebony smiled because for once since she'd been here she felt like she was really getting really good advice from someone and he wasn't just trying to get her to sleep with him and he wasn't picking a side and it was just nice. But of course she didn't get a chance to reply because her attention was drawn to Lindsey who was now standing on a table about to announce something. And Ebony was sure that whatever it was wasn't something anyone really wanted to hear. It was probably stupid like this party idea of hers.
"Well you will be lucky enough to attend one someday." Liam told her positive that she'd attend the ones they threw this year, and they'd be just as fun as they always were. Sometimes they even hosted contests and things during them which was also fun. Liam just really enjoyed themed parties that were more than just drinking and sex. "I wonder what she could possible have to say?" Liam asked even though he knew Maisie wouldn't know since it didn't seem anyone really knew what was going on with her. "Yea I have to say this is kind of a disaster." He whispered knowing Lindsey might get offended that he thought that, but it was true.

Zayn was terrified to find out what Lindsey had planned, and he assumed everyone else was too. It looked like everyone at the party had their eyes on her, which was probably exactly what she wanted. Everyone seemed just as nervous to hear what she had to say as Zayn was.
"I feel very afraid," Maisie whispered to Liam as she watched Lindsey from afar.

With another clap of her hands, Lindsey smiled out at everyone and continued speaking. "I want everyone to grab the hand of the person next to them," she said, a wicked smile on her face. "Oh, and anyone who chooses not participate will have double cleaning duty this month."

Ebony was totally confused. She didn't know why the hell Lindsey wanted everyone to hold hands with the person next to them, but she also knew that she wasn't joking around about the doubling cleaning duties. And having cleaning duty period was bad enough. So just so she wouldn't have to clean anymore than necessary she took Chases hand.

"Should I be worried about this?" He asked her.

"Probably. But given she is the one in charge of cleaning duties and she really hates when things don't go her way it's best just to go along with it." Ebony told him knowing there were times when the line had to be drawn and certain things that people just weren't going to do, but surely whatever she had planned right now couldn't be that bad. It was probably just stupid.
"Don't worry you're not alone there." Liam said before he made a grab for Maisie's hand figuring he should go along with whatever Lindsey had planned so neither of them got stuck with extra cleaning do to. He already knew that the freshman were always required to help clean but he didn't want Maisie to get stuck with extra, and he didn't want to feel the wrath of not giving Lindsey what she wanted again. He had once his sophomore year. She'd tried to hook up with him but he hadn't been interested because he had a girlfriend, and even though she'd went home for the weekend Liam wasn't going to cheat on her, and even now with out a girlfriend he still wasn't interested. The point was though Liam had spent the whole night turning down her advances until she got it through her thick skull that he didn't want to hook up with her then or ever and she'd gotten so upset he didn't even want to think about what she'd done. But it was bad. So he also knew that as long as it wasn't something totally insane that no one in their right mind would do, it was best to just go along with her.

Lindsey got a mischievous look on her face as she spoke, tapping her fingers together while she watched everyone's eyes on her. She paused for a short moment to let everyone grab hands, while she forced Zayn to reach his arm up so he could hold her hand, though she was standing on the table and it made it very uncomfortable for him.

Zayn was scared to see what she had planned, but he assumed that if she was participating in it herself, it couldn't be that bad.

"Now," she said loudly, "I really hope you're holding the hand of someone of the opposite sex. Unless, of course, you're into that sort of thing."
Though she probably should have expected it, Maisie was shocked when Liam held onto her hand. She knew that he did it simply because he had to, but it still made her heart race a bit, mostly due to the stupid little crush she had on him.

The longer Lindsey took to get out what she was saying, the more nervous that Maisie became. She didn't know why Lindsey always had to make a show of everything, but it made her extremely anxious.

Lindsey continued speaking after another long pause, finally finishing her explanation of her little plan. "I want all of you to take the person whose hand you're holding and kiss them. Oh, and when you're done, you must give them a score of 1-10, which you can write on their hand with the Sharpies I'll be passing around."

Ebony shook her head because of course as soon as Chase admitted he only wanted to be friends Lindsey would basically demand that she kiss him since he was the guy she'd been standing with. And this was probably for some totally stupid reasoning. It was kind of ridiculous though. And Ebony didn't think that because Chase was ugly and she didn't want to kiss him, it was because this really was ridiculous. Who honestly had people rate how good a kisser someone was then tell them. She felt like she should've seen it coming though.

"You know we don't actually have to do this right?" Chase whispered to her, "not that I don't think you'd be a good kisser or anything but really we don't have to do this. Honestly how bad could double cleaning duties really be?" He added with a small laugh.

Ebony knew he was right. They didn't really have to do this, they could easily just not kiss one another and then never know how good a kisser the other one was. And that sounded perfectly fine honestly because Ebony didn't care how good of a kisser he was or wasn't. Regardless of Lindsey's motives for this stupid idea Ebony didn't want to kiss Chase, and she also didn't want to jeopardize their bonding by sharing a kiss with him and it somehow changing everything. Even if it wasn't sex it still changed things.
"Is she being serious?" Liam asked looking to Maisie wide eyed. Yes he thought that Maisie was attractive, and he was sure she was a fine kisser too. But he didn't want to kiss her if she didn't want him to, he didn't want things to be awkward between them again all because they'd kissed a party when neither of them even wanted to kiss. This idea really wasn't the best idea in the world, actually Liam thought it was a terrible idea. And he could already tell that no matter what the outcome couldn't possibly be good.

Maisie could be a brilliant kisser and he could rate her really good and then things might change and she could think more of it than it is which Liam didn't want. Because well he wasn't looking for a relationship right now, and he didn't want to have to hurt her feelings and ruin their friendship that could turn into more in the future if that what was supposed to happen. But he didn't want to rate her high and her think he was being too nice and lying either. Which brought him to if she was a bad kisser, he'd feel like shit if he had to be the one to tell her she was a bad kisser because of this whole thing. Either way Liam wasn't really sure he'd win this one. Honestly he just wanted to be friends and not have to worry about shit like this when he hardly knew her.

"Lindsey's insane." He told her biting his lip. "And don't take this the wrong way, because I'm sure that you're a perfectly fine kisser, but we don't have to kiss if you don't want to. Lindsey can't really dictate who we kiss. And if we don't and she gets pissed off then so be it." He told her really hoping he hadn't offended her in any way.

Zayn had no idea what sort of game Lindsey was playing, but he was sure she had some sort of weird little plan for this whole thing. Knowing Lindsey, this was probably not the end game, but he wouldn't find out what else she had planned until later. She tended to be secretive when it came to her "brilliant" ideas, though Zayn was sure he could have coaxed it out of her with a little flirting if he wanted to, which he didn't.

Lindsey quickly hopped down from the table using Zayn's hand for help and smiled at him sweetly. "Well, Zayn, it looks like we've found ourselves in a bit of a situation."

"Oh really?" Zayn asked, tilting his head as he looked at her. "And what sort of situation is that?"

Lindsey giggled softly, smiling at him as she flipped her hair behind her back. "We both know that once you start kissing me you won't want to stop."
Kissing? That was the oddest party "game" Maisie had ever heard of. In fact, it sounded a lot like something they would have done at one her high school parties, but hey, what did she know.

Still, she was holding Liam's hand and the idea of kissing him sounded extremely nice. He was absolutely gorgeous, and the more they talked, the more she liked him.

Maisie's face immediately grew red when Liam spoke, and her heart sunk to the bottom of her chest. She couldn't believe she had been so stupid to think that Liam might actually want to kiss her. A night that had started out quite well looked like it was ending badly. She nodded her head at Liam as she bit her lip. "Yeah, whatever you want," she said simply, not sure of what else to say. She hadn't felt this embarrassed since Lindsey made her put on a bikini to attend this party.

Ebony dropped Chase's hand and then smiled at him some. "Well it was nice not kissing you I guess." She said biting her lip and hoping that hadn't just made her sound like an idiot. Even if she didn't want to kiss Chase she didn't want to look like an idiot and make him wonder why he'd want to be friends with her in the first place.

"My pleasure." He laughed nudging her shoulder with his arm. "I secretly didn't want you to kiss me though. Because well you wouldn't have been able to stop yourself, and I can't have you falling in love with me." He joked with her trying not to laugh at her face.

Ebony shook her head her mouth a little agape at his response. "You're so full of yourself. And I bet you're a bad kisser anyways." She retorted trying not to laugh.

"Maybe, but you'll never know if I am or not. On the bright side though you won't ever have to tell anyone we've kissed since we haven't. So I won't have to worry about one of my frat brothers trying to beat me up for kissing the Ebony White." He added glad she seemed to be in a bit of better mood now.
Liam immediately felt awful. It wasn't that he did or didn't want to kiss her, it was more he didn't want to be told he had to kiss her and then somehow this turn bad and ruin something that was just starting to grow. "I think you're a beautiful girl, really. But games like this have always turned out badly in my own experience. And honestly if we're going to share a kiss together whether it's the first of many or the only one we ever share together I'd rather it not be at a party where we have to rate one another afterwards." He told her.

Plus he just really liked her, and it wasn't a like like thing where he thought about what it might be like to date her like right now. It was more a he was enjoying her company and wanted to take things slow and see how they progressed without being forced. Maybe one day they would be a couple, or maybe they wouldn't. Either way Liam really didn't want to feel like he was only kissing her because he had to rather than because he truly wanted to. Which was how this game made him feel, like he was kissing her because he had to rather than because he wanted to. And maybe this made him seem like the biggest douche on the planet but he still hoped Maisie would understand.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to see what happens then." Zayn gave one quick look around and didn't see Ebony anywhere. He didn't know if she was off kissing someone else and she certainly wouldn't see him kissing Lindsey and get pissed off like he wanted. Still, he didn't think kissing Lindsey would be that bad, even if it wasn't serving him a purpose like it usually was.

When Zayn looked back at Lindsey, she was smiling at him brightly while she bit one half of her lip. Even as dumb as she was, Lindsey was sexy as hell, so Zayn decided there wouldn't be any harm in kissing her. He gave her a smile of his own before leaning down and pressing their lips together, knowing he'd be giving her a ten no matter what.
"It's fine, Liam," Maisie said, nodding her head as she folded her arms across her chest. "I understand completely." She understood that it was probably weird for a senior to kiss a freshman and that there were plenty of girls that Liam could be kissing instead. Everything that he said only confirmed Maisie's thoughts that he'd only ever really see her as a friend, and maybe she should try to find someone her own age that was actually interested in her, though Liam would still make a good friend, she guessed, even though she'd had a small crush on him.

"How about we get some drinks. I'm sure I can mix up something that isn't too terrible." Chase said turning to look at her clearly trying to keep her from seeing whatever it was that he saw. But she was pretty sure she knew what he saw.

"They're kissing. And she probably thinks they're gonna hook up. Which they probably are. So I'm sure he'll be here in the morning just so he can see my face when they walk into the kitchen together or something and he makes her pancakes and orange juice because nothing would please him more than getting back at me and he knows that's my favorite. But I can't eat just any pancake. I like the thicker fluffy buttermilk ones and no one can make them the way he does. Clearly he's willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants too because Lindsey's been clingy all night and he hates clingy. We used to joke about how clingy she was, but he's kissing her right now and will probably share the whole night with her." Ebony barely got out before she was crying over Zayn for the second time that night.

Chase pulled her close and let her cry into his chest for a bit, rubbing her back to try and calm her down. He would've glared at Zayn or went over and punched him or something maybe if he were planning on actually taking a side. Or even if he didn't understand that Zayn was still just pissed off and trying to hurt Ebony and anything he did would probably make it worse. And he didn't want to make it worse. So for now he'd try and calm her down a little.

"I think I'm just gonna go inside. Thank you though for being a friend and for the advice though. I'll see you around." Ebony said after a minute or two of crying, and even though she wasn't done crying he was sure Chase let her walk inside alone because he knew it was what she wanted.
Liam still felt bad, he didn't know why he felt bad since she'd told him it was alright and she understood. Maybe he didn't really believe her, but it didn't really matter either. He planned to just drop the whole thing all together and pretend like it hadn't happened. Truthfully this was probably one of the worst parties he'd ever been to. Ever. And he'd been to some pretty bad parties. Hell one time he'd went to a party and the hosts played music no one had ever heard of and the whole thing was awkward. He was even pretty sure someone had called the cops just so they'd show up and bring a little excitement to the party. But even that didn't help it. This was awful too though. He still wasn't sure why it was themed, or why Lindsey had led everyone to believe it would be a bonfire when there wasn't even a bonfire. She'd started up some kissing game that he was sure had some kind of messed up motive. And he was worried that things would get awkward again with him and Maisie. Over all he would not rate this party very well if he were rating it at all. "Do you want to maybe go inside? It's getting kind of chilly out here and you're in your bathing suit and well there isn't really a bonfire to keep any of us warm."

When Zayn pulled away from Lindsey, she had the biggest smile on her face and a slight twinkle in her eyes. She giggled softly before speaking. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to that," she said as she tucked her hair behind her ear and pulled out a Sharpie from her pocket. She quickly wrote a large 10 on Zayn's hand before passing the Sharpie to him, with which he did the same to her. She seemed to brighten up a bit when she saw that number, and Zayn was suddenly wondering whether this meant a whole lot more to her than it did to him.

"What do you say we go inside?" Lindsey said as she reached her hand over to wrap around Zayn's arm. "We don't have to go upstairs. I'm just getting a little chilly." She shivered a bit, and Zayn thought that was probably her own fault. She really shouldn't have planned for a bonfire and then made everyone where their swimsuits. But, he wasn't about to let her freeze to death.

He nodded his head softly before reaching over and wrapping his arm around her. "I think I can help with that," he said, pulling her in for warmth as he began walking towards the door.
"Yeah, that sounds good," Maisie attempted to say with some cheer in her voice, though she was still feeling utterly defeated, and not just that, she now had double cleaning duties too. But, she figured that was probably the least of her problems. Lindsey was plotting some strange worrisome thing, the boy she was developing a crush on was absolutely out of her league and uninterested, and she suddenly understood why her sorority sisters drank at these parties to make themselves feel better. Was this going to lead to a tormented, alcoholic and lonely future? She couldn't be sure just yet, but it was certainly in the cards.

Ebony went to her room as soon as she got inside to change out of her bathing suit and into something warmer, which included one of Zayn's sweaters that'd always been a bit too big for her. She would've given it back to him when they broke up if either of them had even wanted to see one another to return their things, or maybe burned it if she hadn't like it so much. She didn't even know if he missed the thing she'd had it so long, but she was afraid she'd miss it if he ever asked for it back.

After she was more comfortable though she'd ran back downstairs to fix herself a cup of tea before she locked herself in her room for the remainder of the night. Because truthfully the last thing Ebony wanted was to be a part of this stupid luau any longer. And if everyone came inside to get warmed up since Lindsey had made them wear their bathing suits then the last thing Ebony wanted was to be surrounded by everyone again.
Liam smiled a small smile to Maisie before he led her inside. He knew she couldn't possibly be warm or comfortable still in that bikini. And he kind of wondered why they'd all had to wear them anyways, but well since he'd seen Lindsey with Zayn all night he was assuming it was part of some master scheme she'd brewed up to try and win him over. Liam knew though that whatever Lindsey felt Zayn wasn't returning. He'd been out to hurt Ebony for a while and he was probably just using Lindsey to do it. Which kind of made Liam feel bad for her for a moment. "Something awful is going to happen soon. Because Lindsey's trying awful hard to try and win Zayn's affection, and I don't think it's going to end in her favor." Liam said to Maisie as they walked inside knowing that he didn't want to be there when things fell apart, at the same time though he wanted to see how this scheme she had planned panned out.

Once Zayn had helped Lindsey inside, she pulled him immediately towards the sofa in the front of the living room where she sat down and patted the spot beside her. He took the empty space, to which she quickly moved a bit closer to him so that their knees were touching.

"I'm still freezing," she said, puffing out her lip as she covered her chest with her arms.

Zayn chuckled softly and nodded his head. "Here, let me help you." He leaned forward just a bit and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against his body. He had originally thought it was all just a ploy to get him to touch her, but she did feel a bit cold. She quickly nuzzled her head into his chest and leaned into him more, so that she was practically sitting on his lap. "Is that better?" He asked as he rubbed his hands up and down her back to warm her up.
"Oh, why's that? Alphas don't date or something?" Maisie asked as she and Liam walked inside, finding that there were already a few other Kappas and Alphas who had the same idea as them. Maisie knew it wasn't true about Alphas not dating because her roommate was dating one of the freshman guys already, but it did seem like all of the older guys were more interested in sleeping around than getting serious, which made sense considering it was so easy for them, but that wasn't want Maisie really wanted.

To get from the kitchen to her room Ebony had to walk through the living room, and when she did her heart dropped a little. She really hated seeing Zayn and Lindsey so nuzzled up together on the couch. Even if there weren't any real feelings coming from him Ebony knew Lindsey had had a crush on Zayn for the longest time. And in that moment she realized how Zayn must've felt seeing her get so close to Harry. Because even if nothing was going on just seeing the person you love so close to someone else was enough to hurt you, especially when the person they're getting close to has feelings for them. And she wanted to say something, let him know that she got it or something but she didn't really know how. Because Zayn had already made it perfectly clear that he wanted nothing to do with her, and even if that had been a lie he'd been pretty convincing.
"No it's not that. It's more Zayn is still hurting and pissed off about Ebony and Harry and so he's trying to make her feel like he did. And I mean maybe I'm wrong but he's never even been that fond of Lindsey. None of us have really. She's pretty and all but way too clingy and get's way to upset when she doesn't get what she wants. And personally I think Lindsey wants to be with Zayn at least once but I don't think he really wants to be with her ever. Which sounds really harsh but well sometimes that's just how life is." Liam said not sure what would really happen between the two of them but he really didn't think it would end well.

Lindsey smiled against Zayn's chest and nodded her head a little bit, nuzzling closer to him. "Yes, it's perfect," she said as she pushed her hands against his stomach, no doubt feeling his abs.

"Are you sure?" He asked as he felt her shiver again. "I can give you my jacket, if you'd like." Lindsey nodded to that and Zayn quickly pulled his jacket off and wrapped it around her, which just made her lean against him more. He wasn't sure if he was going to get the jacket back or not, but that was a problem for later.
"Yeah, that was a little harsh," Maisie said with a nervous laugh, folding her arms across her chest as they walked inside. The two of them made their way to the living room, where Maisie quickly noticed Zayn and Lindsey cuddling on the couch together. She tilted her head to the side, looking at Liam once before looking back at the pair. "I don't know. They seem pretty cozy over there. And isn't that his jacket she's wearing?"
