Make a Move

Laxus focused on the door, not knowing who it was. He was tense because of the fact that he didn't know who it was. He kept the frown, as he watched. "I don't know." He told her. He got up and said, "Who's there?" His voice loud, and cautious. He went forward a little bit, crossing his arms as he stood there.

Karasu gave a shrugged before saying, "I suppose so. It helps to be able to think quickly in a dire situation." She murmured softly. She then said, "Wanna go back to the guild, or stay here?" She wondered aloud, looking at him, her green eyes more than a little piercing.

Kimi finally managed to make out the guy, although she didn't know his name she recognized his face. He was often getting into trouble with local bars because he was well-known for harassing females. "You? Aren't you the same pervert that tried to grope a girl as she was walking home the other week?" It'd been close to Kimi's home and conventially Kimi had been passing by when he tried to touch her, Kimi had jumped in, rescuing the girl and escorting her home but not before she was groped in the process, "It is you! I got distracted trying to help the girl and he managed to get a feel." The guy seemed to recall Kimi and sent her a smirk "You're the girl with the nice tits!" He exclaimed staring and Kimi flinched, covering her boobs.

Gajeel nodded, standing up from the bench and waiting for her to get up before the walked off to the guild, "I can't say I can relate, I'm more of a jump into the action kind of guy," he stated, a smirk on his lips at the thought. He took his time, not realy minding going back or not but it was getting a bit cold so he decided they should.

Laxus raised an eyebrow, not really following the conversation. He heard the guy, bristling in anger. No one should ever do that to a lady, especially not to Kimi. He stepped in front of Kimi. He then knew the guy, and said, "Ohhh?" He smirked. The man saw Laxus, getting suddenly very angry, "You!!!! You asshole!!" The drunken bastard screamed at Laxus. Laxus sighed and muttered, "Yeah, I know you too sadly enough." He dodged a punch coming from the guy. The man managed to get a hit on Laxus. He hit the wrong place though. He hit him square in the mouth. The guy's smile faltered when he heard a gasp from most of the people there. Laxus grabbed him by his collar, throwing him into the wall hearing a crack. He wiped his face, walking over to him, his eyes and face blacked out from anger. He had blacked out in rage. He made his lightning hit the man three times, before Laxus grabbed him dragging him outside.

Karasu stood, brushing the skirt of her dress off. She put her hands behind her back as she walked with him back to the guild. "You must have a partner that thinks more carefully for you?" She asked, looking up at him. "Damn, you're a giant." She muttered. She then looked sad, sad about her height. She wanted to be tall for once. She sighed a little bit.

Kimi bite her lip as Laxus dragged the guy outside, almost everyone followed after them and for a second Kimi lingered behind. After a few minutes she followed and moved around so she could get a view from the side. She watched carefully, know Laxus wouldn't need help but was ready to step in if things got carried away like she knew it could.

Gajeel paused then nodded "I have Pather Lily now but otherwise I don't have a partner, what about you? I guess you don't need a partner?" He concluded as they moved through the crowd, passing the markets.

Laxus was completely blacked out pissed off. He was also pissed off before the guy had hit him, from what he said about Kimi. He beat the absolute shit out of him, then kicked his ass with lightning. He didn't stop beating him until he made sure he was passed out. He stepped back, lightning basically coming off of him in a wave of yellow. No one could calm him down, but maybe Kimi. He was really really angry at the moment.

"Panther Lily is so cute!" She said, but smiled and said, "Must be good company to have to keep you levelheaded." She smiled, skipping as she walked a little bit. She sighed and said, "No one would be my partner even if I were to ask." She smiled a little sadly, as she talked with him.

Once Laxus had stopped attacking the man she walked over to him, knowing that no one else would dare to approach him. "Laxus," she gave him a worried look, making it to him she wrapped her slim arms around his torso, looking up at him. It had been awhile since she'd seen him this mad before and all she wanted to do was soothe him.

Gajeel smirked at Karasu's comment and nodded "That's not true, I'd be your partner," he stated, not really thinking about what he'd said but being honest all the same. They arrived at the guild and saw everyone outside, he raised his eyebrow, wondering what they had missed, it seemed there had been a fight between Laxus and a random guy.

Laxus still had yellow flames going around him. He heard Kimi say his name, and turned towards her, his face darkened by anger. He hadn't been this angry since him and the Master went at it. He felt her arms around his torso and felt his muscles slowly relax. He wrapped his arms back around her and said, "Sorry." He hugged her tightly to his chest.

Karasu heard him and said, "Really???" She looked at him hopefully. She heard him and smiled happily and said, "Oh thank you!!" She smiled. She saw everyone outside the guild. She noticed the guy was smoking and had burns wicked, and a wicked more or less, broken nose. She winced. She wrapped him up in crystal seeing him try to get back up. "Bad idea," She murmured.

"You don't need to apologize silly," Kimi giggled, trying to lighten the mood, she pecked him on the cheek as everyone turned to go inside, as she lead Laxus back in she saw Karasu stop the man from getting back and and sent her a thankful smile. If Laxus had seen him try to get up he would of gone at him again.

Gajeel smirked, he wasn't expecting her to be so happy about it but he could see where she's coming from, he felt lonely sometimes too, it had gotten better thanks to Lily but he still wanted to talk to others, it was nice that Karasu treated him like a normal person and not a monster. He chuckled when she stopped the guy from getting up before they made their way inside the guild with everyone else.

Laxus muttered something incomprehensible, before nodded. He felt her peck him on the cheek and just kept her close to him. He had a bruise and a split lip now. He wrapped an arm around her as he went inside with her, sending a snarl back at the guy. He went inside and sat down, letting Mira get him some ice for his lip.

Karasu saw Kimi's smile, and nodded in welcome. She made sure the crystal container was sealed to where only someone with brute strength could get him out. She caught up to Gajeel and went with him inside, scratching her side gently. She then went along with him, sitting down with him. Seeing Panther Lily, she waved to him. She smiled softly.

When Mira bough the ice over Kimi went to work cleaning Laxus' lip up, cleaning the blood before gently placing the ice into a cloth and putting it to his lip. "Fairy Tail can never catch a break huh?" Kimi added thoughtfully before covering a hand and yawning. She was about to add something else when she spotted the Thunder God Tribe arrive through the guild doors and spot Laxus. Evergreen and Kimi made eye-contact, sending each other glares. They had never gotten on and they still couldn't, especially when it came to Laxus.

"Laxus-sama are you okay?" Freed asked in concern. "Bet you had something to do with this huh?" Evergreen stated, giving Kimi a dark look. "What'd you say?" Kimi sneered and they butted heads. "You heard me," she replied. "You want to die?" Kimi replied.

Pather Lily came over shortly and sat with them. "How is everything?" Lily asked and Gajeel merely shrugged in reply, "Karasu will be our partner now," Gajeel explained to Lily and Lily nodded, accepting Karasu without a question. If Gajeel approved of Karasu then he knew she must be important.

"We should start training as soon as possible so that we can learn to fight effectively as a team," Lily stated in thought. Gajeel nodded in agreement, if they learn to fight well together they could become a really strong team.

Laxus winced, "Ow ow ow ow ow." He complained as she cleaned his lip up with the ice. "Seems that way huh?" He said, running a hand through his hair lightly. He set the ice on his face. He glanced over hearing Freed and them all come in. He sighed and said, "Yeah. I'm fine, damn asshole out there. I should kill him." He spat. He then heard Evergreen and Kimi go at it again, and said, "Hey, cool it." He told Evergreen. "She didn't have anything to do with it. Dude hit me, and then I blacked out." He muttered remembering it. He remembered how he almost did kill him. He sighed and then kept the ice on his lip wincing.

Karasu heard Lily. She blinked when he started talking, ending up in her lap while doing so. She stroked his fur as he spoke because he seemed like he needed to calm down. She smiled smally. She nodded in response and said, "It would be very useful if I could train with you two and be effective instead of winging it." She murmured thoughtfully.

Kimi stuck her tongue out childishly at Evergreen, Evergreen growled and went to swat at Kimi but Kimi dodged it with ease, dancing around Evergreen to sit in Laxus' lap, sending one last sneer at Evergreen before turning her attention to Erza who had made her way over while Kimi and Evergreen where having their spat at each other.

"Kimi, when was the last time you trained?" Erza asked, Erza was also instant on training and always nagging her friend to train. Evergreen scoffed "Judging by how fat she's gotten I'd say she hasn't trained in months," she gibed and Kimi turned to throw her a glare, "You wanna go, you butt ugly hag?" Kimi said darkly.

Gajeel watched Karasu stroke Lily's fur in amusement at them being so comfortable with each other, he was glad that Karasu wanted to train with them as well, and was glad she was eager "Maybe we could find another team to train against?" Gajeel asked, it seemed better to train in a team rather than against each other like he usually did with Lily. The only question is who to as to train against.

Laxus held the ice to his face still, wincing a little. Damn that asshole could hit. He blinked when Kimi was in his lap and looked down at her, giving her a soft smile. He then heard Evergreen and raised an eyebrow at her and said, "Again, quit it you two. That or fight, or something. The arguing has got to stop." He said lightly, and looked between them. He then winced at his face again muttering profanity that shouldn't be uttered outloud. Unfortunately for him, Kimi was within hearing distance.

Karasu liked animals, especially cats. She smiled when Lily softly purred grinning from ear to ear. She continued knowing who Lily was gonna trust to feed him when Gajeel didn't. She smiled softly. She hummed and said, "I don't know.." She looked around and said, "Natsu?" She questioned lightly.

Kimi ponder on what Laxus had said as she listened to Laxus swear "Laxus is right," Kimi got up off of Laxus' lap and approached Ever. With one swift movement she did a roundhouse kick and sent Evergreen flying across the guild hall, smashing into a wall.

"Oops, I guess my fat body can't control itself" Kimi sneered, trying her best to keep her emotions in check, she didn't want to lose control of her magic while she was in the guild. Evergreen got up and lunged back over at Kimi and they engaged in a good old fashion fist fight. Taking punches and throwing them, occasionally throwing kicks and other moves.

"Natsu's team? That could work, Erza and Natsu and Gray verses us?" Gajeel pondered a loud, liking the sound of that before a ruckus is heard and he looks up to see Kimi and Evergreen going at it, not showing any mercy. "Have they already started training in the guild?" Lily asked, not realizing it wasn't a spar. Gajeel smirked at Lily's question but didn't say otherwise, opting to not say anything but perparing to dodge out of their way if need be.

"This guild," Gajeel shook his head lightly, there were always fights happening.

Laxus heard her, and knew what she was about to do. "Be careful, Kim." He said softly. He sat back wincing at his face still. He watched as Kimi knocked the shit out of Ever with a kick. He sighed and simply watched. He didn't know what else to do, as he made sure Kimi was okay. They both knew she could defeat Evergreen in an instant, but it was also a good idea never to underestimate your enemy. Laxus used to do that, and barely win. He knew better now.

Karasu nodded in agreement. She watched as Kimi and Ever went at it, she would never understand why they fought so much in the guild. She shook her head watching as the sparred. "No, Lily. They're simply sparring." She murmured stroking his fur. After a little while, he took to her lap, laying down and falling asleep feeling her warm hands stroke his fur was relaxing. She smiled softly. She heard Gajeel and nodded, "Yeah." She said in agreement.

Kimi pulled back panting after awhile and saw Evergreen do the same, she was about to retort when she heard someone, "It's not very lady-like to be getting into a brawl Kimi," the voice said and Kimi looked over to see Gildarts entering the guild. Kimi was about to retort when Evergreen took the opportunity to kick Kimi straight in the face resulting in Kimi to go flying backward into a beam and falling behind the bar with an omph.

Kimi struggled up, using the bench as support as she hacked up blood. "You dirty cheat," she grumbled at Evergreen but no longer had the will to fight her. Evergreen realized she had won and smirked in triumph claiming to be the rightful owner to the title of Titania: Queen of the Fairies.

Gajeel smirked, "Lily's taken a liking to you," he said, watching them. He supposed it was getting pretty late, once the scene had died down. Gajeel ordered dinner from Mira and Mira came over with it not long after. A plate of various metals. He took to eating them in content, munching away. "It's getting late," he said between mouthfuls.

Laxus noticed Gildarts walk in and blinked when Evergreen hit her when she wasn't looking. He tensed like he always did when he saw Kimi get hurt. It was a natural thing for him. He ran a hand through his hair gently. When he saw that Kimi wasn't going to fight anymore, he stood up. He heard Evergreen and said, "Say that to the actual Titania." He then walked out of her guild gently, his hands in his pockets. He usually kept his left side facing people instead of his right. His right side had his scar on it and he didn't exactly want people looking at him like with pity. He didn't want people asking about his scar, or anything to do with his scar. He looked up at the sky, sighing.

Karasu smiled softly rubbing Lily's ears which made him purr as he slept. She giggled, hearing Gajeel and said, "Lily's not so bad." She smiled softly. She noticed it was getting late, and sighed. She heard him say her thoughts a loud and chuckled, "Yes, I suppose it is." She hummed softly as she just kept petting Lily.

Kimi sighed, watching Laxus leave, she waited to get her breath back before leaving the guild shortly after him and heading home. She took her time, walking slowly until she arrived at her door step and entered her house. Once there she stripped down and took a bath, cleaning the blood away and relaxing her aching bones. When she was done she dressed into a singlet and shorts before collapsing on her bed and falling asleep.

Gajeel decided it was time to retire for the night, he didn't want to disturb Lily so he took the sleeping cat into his arms and motioned for Karasu to come as well "I'll walk you home," he stated before leaving the guild. Mira was getting ready to send everyone home anyway.

Laxus went home gently, falling on his bed. He turned flat on his stomach and curled up lightly. He then tried to sleep. He tossed and turned for hours. He finally got up, restless. He went outside, heading towards the practice field. He saw it empty, and then nodded in silence. He started to shoot lightning at the dummies sighing. He was still restless.

Karasu let Gajeel take Lily into his arms and looked up at him. Getting up as she saw his motion, she nodded and said, "Okay." She ran a hand through her hair and walked with him. She walked towards her house, running her hair through her house. She yawned softly.

Kimi woke up hearing lightning in the distance and shuffled to her feet, she took a look out her window and saw flashes of lightning. Concentrating she realized it was Laxus and wondered if he couldn't sleep, or maybe he was still angry about earlier and was letting off some steam?

With a small yawn Kimi dressed herself and went out to explore wrapping herself warmly as the cold hair nipped at her face. She made her way to the training field and immediately saw Laxus, she stayed back, watching him fight the dummies.

When they got to Karasu's house Gajeel nodded his head "I'll see you tomorrow at the guild," and without saying anything further he went off and made his way to his house, setting Lily in his small bed before preparing for to go to his own. He'd need a lot of rest for their training tomorrow.

He took a shower and got rid of the day's grime before getting into some track pants and hopping into bed. He laid there for awhile staring up at the ceiling and thinking before he fell asleep.
