"Show me how to make what we're having, I want to learn," she said to him softly.

Jongin smiled a little as he followed them

He nodded. "Alright," He smiled, leading her into the kitchen. He smiled at Jongin. "You know your way around, just come back when dinner is ready." He said, going to teach her to fix the food.

I sighed a little, lying inthe grass in the back, staring at the sun between the branches. I wondered what my family was doing, or who my husband might have been. Things I'd never find out, and the thought depressed me.

She smiled a little as she licked over her lips listening to what he was telling her.

He nodded a little and sighed as he walked outside.

I sighed a little, closing my book and just staring up at the sky. I wondered where I would end up having to go, or where I would end up in the future.

He smiled a little, showing her how to make what he was making. "Do you know how to chop vegetables?"

She chewed on her lip, "It's pretty simply right, just.. cutting them," she said lightly.

He smiled a little as he looked at her, "Hi," he said waving.

I looked to where the voice was coming from and waved back. "Hi," I repeated, going back to staring at the sky.

He shook his head. "No, they need to be the same size, like this." He murmured, showing her.

"You alright?" he asked her curiously.

She smield and nodded then did as he showed her.

I sighed a little. "Honestly? No. But for your sake I will tell you yes." I murmured.

He smiled as he put the food over the fire. "We add these to it, after its boiled."

She nodded a little as she looked at him then chewed on her lip, "Do you think we'll be okay?" she asked him.

He nodded,"For your sake, talk to me," he said to her as he sat next to her.

I sighed a little, shaking my head. "I won't burden you with my problems. They're mine to deal with, you shouldn't have to." I murmured.

He sighed a little. "Yes. For our sake, we need to be. It'll be stressful at first because I have no doubt we will have a problem once they start searching. But we just need to wait it out."

"I want to get married as soon as possible," she told him softly as she touched his arm lovingly.

"I want to," he told her smiling a little,"Tell me,"

He smiled as he stirred the food. "I am more than okay with that. I wanted to know what else you think the husband should decide, so I know what you know about marriage. They didn't give you a very fair view on it."

I sighed a little and closed my eyes. "I'm just sitting here thinking about how depressed my life still is after leaving. I'm a failure as a woman." I muttered, opening them to stare up.

She licked over her lips,"The husband is meant to decide everything," she told him shrugging, "Women are just.. meant to have babies and keep him happy," she murmured softly.

"No you're not, youre an inspiration," he told her, "to women who want to escape from that life of...slavery esstially, while you had it better than most - you were still unhappy, and your an inspiration to the meaning of friendship. " he told her.

I sighed a little. "All I've gained is my freedom. And I'm still unhappy. I'll never get married. I'll never be head of a home. I have no skills that are useful in the country. I have no idea how or where I'm supposed to go, because I can't live with Marissa and Yixing forever, and I wont be able to do anything."

He shook his head. "Well, I want your opinion on everything. I know how lucky I am to have you, so your happiness is important to me."

"I can teach you things if you want," he said to her smiling a little,"Do you know how to sew? A good seamstress is always in need," he told her.

She looked at him,"I want as many children as a we can afford, I know feeding them will be challenging. I've heard of babies dying because the families didn't have enough food," she murmured.

I nodded a little. "I can sew. We're taught so we can make our husbands shirts. But I won't ever get married so it's a useless skill." I said bitterly.

He nodded. "Since we have a farm, we'll be fine. As long as I stay on top of it, we'll be okkay."

She nodded a little and kissed his cheek, "I love you," she whispered to him.

"No it's not, you can help mend people clothes for money," he told her, "You can make quilts and baby blankets they sell for good money around here, many women tend to have babies in the winter so baby blankets are a must. Yixing has lots of sheep we can shear them and use their wool to make thread and frabric," he told her. "It's a useful trait," he smiled.

I sighed a little, running a hand through my hair. "So, I'll spend my life making clothes. Maybe I'll be able to find a place to live that doubles as a shop. And see if I can find one sooner than later." I muttered, closing my eyes again.

He smiled. "I love you too," He smiled, kissing her lips quickly.

"You're being melodramatic," he told her raising an eyebrow, "You didn't have to come, in fact if you don't want to be here you can leave and go back to the life you lived before," he said to her softly, "You're here for a reason, because you know you won't be sold to the highest bidder," Jongin said to her. "Your life is what you make it, and if you want to be a drama queen and be miserable thats exactly what you will be," he told her.

"Make the best of it, there are plenty of suitable men who are looking for a wife around here, and they're not bad men either,"

She smiled a little as she looked at him, "Do you ever have rabbit or is that something of my past now?" she asked him softly.

He smiled. "If I have to catch one for you every night I will do that."

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Yes, perfectly nice men who want women who know how to run a household. I am not being melodramatic, I'm being realistic. I was raised to give orders, not cook and clean. I left knowing full well what my future would be and here it is. You're a man, you'll find a wife who knows what theyre doing. No one falls in love, I'm convinced Yixing and Marissa are the only people on the planet truly in love, becase in my opinion, love isn't real. This is why I didn't want to tell you my problems. They are mine to have, not yours."
