Anyway... I'm so excited to be starting this story!! Yeah!

And yes... like... each of us have our own character and we write about our character. Jordy wants her character to be a singer. I'm still not sure whether I want my character to be the guitarist or the drummer. But I want my character to be a dude.

So my idea is... each of this character comes from different background and maybe they're from different circle of friends and stuff. Maybe one of them is the popular kid, and the other is the nerd or the outcast or something. And so when they first got together, it was hard for them to get along.

But now... we need to think on how they got to be in the band in the first place.

I was thinking I'd like my girl to be a responsible, hard-working girl. I'm not sure how to fit her in with stereotypes but I'd like if she came from the student council, and maybe the rest of the band get together first and then realize they need a singer and they do auditions but it doesn't go well, and one day, before summer break or something one of the members of the band, or all of them hear her singing to herself in the council room and then they confront her. At first she's sceptical but after being told she's nothing but a stick in the mud that doesn't know how to enjoy life she agrees and learns to open up and enjoy life thanks to the band.

Is that okay?

Maybe a passionate teacher? Like maybe these characters are in the same music class? And the teacher sees some potential in them and gets the together? But of course they're resisting at first because they don't really know each other aside from the fact that they're in the same class.

And maybe your character is the only one not from the music class. And it's the teacher who sees her also.

And maybe... maybe it'll be funny to make one of our characters enemy with each other and so that like it gets really hard for the band to be in sync.

And also... I think my character will be the jock type character and the only reason he takes the music class is to add to his credit or something. He doesn't realize how much he'd love music because all his life has been sports and more sports. Think Troy Bolton of High School Musical.

I think I'd like your character to call mine babycakes if that's okay?

I really like the sound of him and I reckon my character would clash a lot with your character because he's a smart slacker my character will find him lazy and unmotivated, she's a hard worker who puts her all into everything so when she learns that he's smart but work hard enough on it she gets angry at him a lot. She feels like he mocks her way of life because she has to work hard to get results when he doesn't need to work as hard to get good ones?

I'd like my character to be reserved, she doesn't talk about her home life but she's having a difficult time at home, she works part time to help her family pay bills, she works hard at school because she wants to get good grades to get into a good university so that she can get a good job and support her single mother and younger siblings.

She's built up a wall, surrounding herself in studying and working and has forgotten that she's allowed to have fun sometimes. Through the band she learns to open up more and that it's okay to take a break sometimes.

My eyes are literally shining like in anime as I read your character description (not really). But..... he seems like... ME in real life!! OH MY GOD! Only the other day my friend pointed out how annoyed she is with me but can't do anything about it because I'm her friend and then I annoyed her some more.

Anyway... maybe my character and Javin character don't really get along well. My character is always disciplined (because of sports) and he takes everything seriously. Like even with his instruments although he didn't like it at first. And he's kinda a perfectionist? That kinda makes sense. So maybe he's the one that drives everyone crazy and maybe that's why Javin's character loves to take a piss at him because you know... I know how fun it is to annoy stuck-up people.

Your character and my character sound similar in term of hard work. Although she's more academically inclined. This band will be such an interesting band to have TWO serious members.

But but but... the difference between Jordy and mine character is... my character is very loud in stating his opinion about things and quite open. So maybe whenever Javin's character annoys him, he'd reply with something equally sarcastic too? I like that kind of interaction. And because he's a jock, he doesn't really want to be seen hanging around these people like... the class clown and the nerd. Like... dude... that's totally not cool. (I'm just projecting Joey's thoughts) Yep! I'd named my character. It's Joey yo!

Oh! And opposite to your character, Joey is very whiny about his life. How although he loves sports, he feels like his father is pressuring him too much to get the sports scholarship and stuff. And he always drives people up the wall with his constant 'I-should-be-the-center-of-attention' attitude.

Dude! He sounds like such a douche.

I love writing a douche character because it's so interesting. Ah... narcissistic, douche-y Joey. I still can't think of a nickname that your character should use to call him though.

I like studmuffin. Like... your character's always making fun of Joey for always working out.

We have such great character dynamics here. Just wait for Kayleigh's character and I think I have good feeling for this story.
