The Other Side

"I have a bad feeling," Grimmjow muttered, hearing explosions in the distance he guessed that his hunch was right, "they don't attack for no reason, I think they're trying to take over Hueco Mundo," Grimmjow thought, watching Imari get healed. He hoped they'd be able to heal her fully, or Grimmjow would be stuck worrying about her the whole time.

Sachi stated in her room for most of the time but finally went out because she didn't want to be in the barracks for the moment. Wiping her tear streaked face she stormed out of her barracks and toward 11th Division. Ignoring the calls of her comrades from 6th Division.

Imari coughed up blood again and went to wipe It off her face. Listening to him she mumbled, "But why couldn't we sense it?" She looked rather upset. She frowned again. She soon began to feel better. She sighed in relief as she stopped tasting her own blood. Once the healer was done, she went to sit up. She stood up gently and grabbed a rag wiping the blood
Off her face. She shuddered and said, "Can't say that happens too often." She told him giving a soft smile.

Byakuya eventually said fuck this. He threw down his sword before falling backwards to the ground. Sighing, he laid there his arms over his face. He closed his eyes. He stayed there till nightfall. He still stayed there too as well. He had no clue anyone was looking for him. Apparently, he had gone missing. He looked at the stars before closing his eyes gently.

Grimmjow didn't have an answer to give Imari so he shrugged instead, the explosions were getting closer and Grimmjow was tense. He had never seen Imari get this injured before, it had caught him off guard and he couldn't imagine how she must be feeling about it but at least she was healed again. Imari was one of their strongest, looking at it now Grimmjow wondered if maybe they were sending a message that not even their strongest could see them coming.

Renji sighed at his Captain and walked over "The squad is getting worried Captain, you've been out all night and day," Renji told him, it was getting harder to control the division with just himself, especially when the squad didn't take him as seriously as Sachi or the Captain. "Sachi hasn't come back either." He told the Captain.

Imari frowned. She said, "Well, at least now I have a sense of them." She said. "It took getting a hole in my stomach, but hey," She bit her lip, and then grabbed his arm and started to walk. "So here's my stupid ass plan. We either run from the damn things and wait for them to find us, or go to them and they find us. Or we stay here and they find us." She said. "We either avoid it for as long as possible, just wait, or go to them." She summed up basically. She pondered on if she should release her sword or not.

Byakuya looked up and sighed shaking his head. He said, "I've been in the same place all day and night. It's a wonder that no one checked here." He said. Standing up, he grabbed his sword and looked at Renji. He heard him and said, "She's with Kenpachi." That's where she always was when upset. He then said, "Come." He started towards the barracks.

Grimmjow nodded, understanding the circumstances before smirking "Since when have I ever chosen to avoid fights? I say we take them on head on and cut down as many as possible," Grimmjow grinned as Imari lead the way, he was itching for a fight and he was glad to finally be able to have one without getting into trouble.

Renji sighed, shaking his head, "Captain shouldn't you go get her? Us three have to have a meeting anyway, it's time for the annual reports from both lieutenants to give to our Captains." Renji reminded his Captain, wincing because he didn't want to be caught up in the fight.

Imari sighed and said, "I was afraid you'd say that." She smiled. She hugged him and said, "Be safe, I'll take the east, you take the west." She hugged him one last time. She smiled and kissed his cheek before heading the other way. She blushed lightly as she went.

Byakuya sighed softly and said, "Yes. Meet you back at the barracks." He went and headed to Squad 11. He knocked on the door and said, "Kenpachi. I need Sachi for my Squad." He told him. He looked at Sachi and nodded and said, "Annual reports." He said. He simply looked sad now.

Grimmjow's face went bright red and he mumbled a "you too" before heading off west, he followed his gut and came across a vasto lorde rather quickly and the fighting commenced, their swords clashes together as their spirit energy picked up and Grimmjow grinned widely.

Sachi heard Byakuya's voice telling her he needed her and she clenched her hands into tight fists, not wanting to go. But she stood up and bid Kenpachi and Yachiru a good bye before opening the door. For a second she stares at Byakuya before her stare turns to an angry glare and she pushes past him, heading back to his office to get the reports over and done with.

Imari saw his face turn red and giggled as she went towards the Vasto Lorde. Pulling her sword out, she cut it down. She went sending another turning around she clashed with it. She kept clashing and clashing over and over again. She kept it up until she had finished it. She went and met up with Grimmjow and said, "I got two, I don't know if there are really anymore." She said.

Byakuya looked at her as she walked past. Now that he was thinking clearly he knew she would never of said that. He pulled her aside and said, "I apologize for jumping to conclusions. I know you would never say that about her." He told her. He then said, "I'm pretty sure you won't accept so easily, but I do apologize." He said.

By the time Grimmjow had finished the Vasto Lorde off he was panting heavily and had a nasty cut along his back but otherwise unharmed. He turned when he heard Imari's voice and he looked at her, "damn." he growled, he had gotten pretty beat up over one vasto lorde but Imari had managed to beat two and she still looked in okay condition. He had to face it, she was far superior than he'd ever be but at least he knew his limits he guessed.

Byakuya was right Sachi couldn't accept his apology, he had hurt her feelings deeply and she was still mad. "You're right, I don't accept your apology Captain Kuchiki." In the years they'd been together Sachi had never once called him by his full honorific so she hoped he'd see how angry she really was. "I can't believe you think I'm capable of saying something mean about Hisana, she may have been your wife but she was my best friend first." Sachi hissed, she turned and headed toward the barracks, ready to cry all over again but holding in her tears.

Stark heard Imari and shrugged not really interested in what was happening around him "A ton of Vasto Lorde's are trying to take over Hueco Mundo. They've managed to take a couple of us down but otherwise they aren't doing a very good job," he replied with a yawn. Grimmjow smirked, if Stark wasn't worried then everything was fine and the Vasto Lorde's didn't stand a chance.

Sachi reigned her emotions in and sat down beside Renji, "I just got back so I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to report on." Renji handed her some paperwork and she read over it before "ahhhing" and beginning to fill it out, it was just the report on the mission she had done.

Imari nodded and said, "Alright. Why don't you get up you lazy ass." She laughed. Stark thought of her as a little sister. She smiled. She then looked back at Grimmjow and said, "Well, now what do we do?" She asked him, poking his tummy again, her anxiety calming down slowly. She hummed softly again happy.

Byakuya knew he shouldn't of done that, but grief had left him hurt and alone. Well, when Sachi had left he had felt so alone. He let Abari handle it. He looked out the window. He felt a cherry blossom fly into the room and fall on his lap. He closed his eyes just listening now.

Grimmjow watched Imari interact with Stark and smirked, Stark was one of the few Arrancar that he didn't mind besides Imari of course. "We could go find the rest of the Vasto Lorde's and get rid of them? Or we can stay put and wait for them to come to us?" Grimmjow suggested, pulling a funny face when she poked his stomach.

Sachi and Renji had been talking animatedly for a while now and she was beginning to revert back to her happy self. "So I heard you and Takeshi were dating while you were in the world of the living," Renji smirked "Is it true that he stole your first kiss," Sachi's face flushes and she looks away for a second before turning back to Renji "Hmm, why do you care Renji, are you jealous?" She purred seductively with a grin.

Imari sighed an said, "I'm too lazy to fight them." She said sighing. She giggled when he made a face and said, "See ya later Stark. I'll come see you later!" She promised him. He waved. She then went up ahead and got on the top of the building and sat down waiting for Grimmjow. She yawned and said, "Got it's cold here." She muttered. She shivered.

Byakuya soon began to feel ill. He looked out the window before laying down as he listened to their chatter. He winced as a headache soon came. He didn't feel well at all. He covered his face with his arm. He felt cold all of a sudden and shivered. On the outside he was burning up from a fever. He just laid there.

Grimmjow followed Imari, if he could describe himself he was like a lost puppy when he had nothing better to do, always following Imari around. Grimmjow wasn't sure what it was but when Imari wasn't around he felt more irritable and angry, her presence calmed him down and he felt better with her around, something he never felt around anyone else. "Here," Grimmjow took his uniform jack off, leaving him bare chested as he draped the jacket over her shoulders.

Sachi noticed Byakuya slump down and putting aside her anger she got up and checked on him, she tsked feeling his forehead, "Renji, please get me some hot tea, a wash cloth and some cold water in a basin and take them to Bya's room." Renji nodded and left while Sachi placed Byakuya's arm over her shoulder and supported him as she took him to his room. Once she got him there she took his captain robe off and his shoes, stripping him to his under clothes before putting him into his futon and tucking him in. She checked his forehead again and sighed "baka," she muttered worriedly.

Imari looked up at Grimmjow as he sat down beside her. Watching the world underneath them, she heard him, looking over. She blinked, feeling his uniform jacket on her shoulders. "Awh, you are sweet." She said, smiling. She always knew he was. He was a teddy bear on the inside. She found it cute. She smiled at him, and hugged him and said, "Thank you, Grimmy." She smiled again, knowing he was probably blushing. She liked him, but knew he probably didn't like her.

Byakuya barely noticed she had come over beside him. He hearing her say something, her cool hand feeling good against his burning skin. He opened his eyes, when he felt her help him up. "Sorry," He said, as he managed to walk with her help. He got into his bed, opening his eyes. He felt like he was in a delirium. Hearing her call him a baka, he chuckled and said, "Sorry." He couldn't help getting sick, however healthy he was. Sickness was something everyone got. He coughed into his hand, and shivered again. His hair falling into his eyes, because of he had it clipped.

Grimmjow grunted as she called him sweet and muttered a "only to you," in an undertoned hush. He turned to look at their surroundings but found nothing interested and he gave a tired yawn, bored. When Imari hugged him he tried his best to look uninterested, fighting off a blush as she hugged him. "Yeah yeah," he said, acting disinterested.

"Stop apologizing baka," Sachi said softly as Renji arrived with what was needed. Taking the wash cloth she dipped it into the water and begun to wipe his face. "He must have gotten a chill because he spent all day and night outside after the argument," Renji noted. Sachi clenched her jaw feeling annoyed at the situation but very worried as well. Moments later Renji left to go make sure the barracks were okay while Sachi looked after Byakuya.

Imari hummed as she hugged him giggling softly. She smiled softly as she heard him. She pokes his nose and said, "Would it kill you to lay off the touch guy act?" She asked setting her forehead against his. She had a soft smile on her face as she looked at him. The brightness from the outside world made her hair and eyes seem that much brighter.

When he hear her, he nodded sighing. Feeling the cool rag was like feeling heaven for him right then. He heard Renji and doubted that was it. He went outside all the time and stayed out there a lot. He heard Renji leave and said, "You don't have to stay with me. I'll be fine." He told her, rather insistently.
