"Want a granola bar?" Leila held out the box towards him as she glanced down at the paper in front of her. Without really noticing wether or not he took one, she headed for the center of her room and plopped down on the floor, opening the newspaper up. Her eyes scanned the pages and she nibbled on her granola bar, which slipped through her fingers with a gasp as she pointed at the section before her.
"Yeah," Mason chuckled. He reached down to pick up a handful of rocks and stared down at them, not knowing where to take the conversation. Girls weren't something he knew a lot about seeing as he didn't really date. His teeth gnawed at the inside of his cheek as he started skipping the rocks across the pond in front of him.
