We're All a Little Mental.

Kennedy sat on the arm rest of the couch, scrolling through her cell phone.
She clearly showed distaste towards the place already.
She then set her phone down and began to pick at her nails once again. As she saw them, they were bloody and sharp, but then she would blink and they'd be normal again.
She shrugged, running her fingers through her hair and went back to her phone.

Mike started to head back to the rec room, before waiting for Tony, Jaime and Vic.

"Maybe she's insane in the membrane?" Jaime suggested, pointed to his temple.

Kyden found a song she liked and sat there watching people as she hummed quietly. She looked over at Kennedy before looking away.

Vic followed out a moment later, "why don't you ask her?" he suggested as he heard Jaime's remark about Kennedy. "Because that's rude." Tony stated as they reached Mike.

Kennedy messed around on her phone, waiting for the boys to arrive.

Mike looked at them, "What's rude?"
He started walking with them and tried to join the conversation.

"What's wrong with Kennedy." Jaime answered, continuing to look forward.

"Your brother thinks I should just ask Kennedy what's wrong with her. What do you think, Mike? Would you ask Kyden that righ away?" Tony explained.

Kyden looked up as the boys came back. They all looked really cute once they were out of the ugly uniform. "Hey guys." she said.

"Hey. Oh, this is my roommate Jaime and Mike's brother Vic." Tony introduced the other two boys.

Mike shook his head, "No I wouldn't. It's rude."

Jaime laughed at them, "If you guys don't, I will."
He nudged Vic, who simply nodded, as if to agree with said statement.

Mike sighed at their immaturity, but quickly placed a smile on his face.
He greeted both of the girls with a wave before stuffing his hands into his pockets.

Kennedy glanced up at the boys, offering them a grin, "Hey."
She slide her phone into her pocket and put her attention on them.

Kyden looked at Mike and Vic. They didn't look related, "you two don't look like brothers." she said.

"That's because Mike got all the good looks. I don't know about short shit here." Jaime jokes, getting a glare and punch from Vic.

Kyden giggled, "well you're right, Jaime." she gave Mike a smile.

Tony chuckled a little at Jaime's comment and noticed Mike blushing a little. He looked at both of the girls, "so how are you liking this place so far?"

Mike smiled, his cheeks heating up a little bit.
Hearing that, especially from a girl, had given his confidence a little boost.

Jaime nodded, "Of course I am."
He proudly smiled and crossed his arms over his chest.

Kennedy shrugged, "It's boring. Just like every place is."

"Tony was wondering why you're here. You seem pretty normal." Vic said, lookingbat Kennedy.

Tony glared. "Vic that was rude." though he was curious.

"What about you, Kyden?" Jaime asked.

Kyden didn't say anything for a moment. "I'd rather not talk about it." she said softly, looking away.

"We'll tell you guys while we're here if you tell us why you are." Vic pressed.

"Vic stop. If they don't wanna talk about it then leave it alone." Tony said.

Kennedy rolled her eyes, "You know, little one, that was a bit rude."
She looked him dead in the eye, "Maybe, just maybe, I don't want to know what's wrong with you." She pauses for a moment, eyeing him carefully, "But if I had to guess it would be your very horrible trust issues and dwarfism?"

Mike eyes grew, quietly stifling a laugh.
He crossed his arms, "You deserved that."

Jaime tossed a look at Vic and began to laugh.

Kennedy shrugged, "And I was told that have severe Night Terrors, and I don't get much sleep, which pushes slight schizophrenia on the table. Have a problem with it?"

"Nope...none at all. Jaime, let's go." Vic said, turning and walking off. "Good one, Kennedy." Jaime smirked before following Vic.

Kyden giggled a little at Kennedy's comment towards Vic, though she was a bit curious as to why Mike and his brother, along with Jaime, were there.

She figured Tony was a self harmer, judging by all the scars and burns on his arms. His tattoos covered most but they were still visible.

She looked at Mike and patted the spot beside her, "come sit down."

Tony stifled a laugh and watched Vic do the walk of shame. He wasn't surprised by Kennedy's answer to say the least.

He sat beside her, "I'm sorry about Vic. He can be an ass sometimes."

"Nope...none at all. Jaime, let's go." Vic said, turning and walking off. "Good one, Kennedy." Jaime smirked before following Vic.

"it was nothing." Kennedy called over to Jaime, smiling widely.

Kennedy glanced at Tony, "It's alright. He's the one who even decided to say something."

Kyden nodded, bringing her knees up to her chest. "So why are you here?" she rested her chin on her knees and stared at him with her emerald green eyes.

Tony nodded, "he's an ass. I don't blame you though, I hate this place." he said, picking at a rip in the sofa. He was still a little nervous.

Mike looked at her carefully, "I have some really bad issues..."
He didn't want to go into detail. He wasn't comfortable with it yet.

Kennedy looked at him.
"You seem nervous." She points out, changing the topic.

"You and me both. I asked because I don't see any scars on your arms...like Tony has...or me.." Kyden said, her eyes averting to her shoes for a moment.

"Yeah...bad habit. Comes with the anxiety I guess. Plus you're really pretty...this place isn't used to having two pretty girls like you and Kyden walk in on the same day." Tony admitted.

He eyed her carefully, seeing the scars and sighing. "They're not on my arms." He admits with a shrug. He still didn't want to talk about it.

Kennedy nodded, "Don't be intimidated by me. I'm just a girl."
She smiles at him reassuringly, "I'm not that pretty. Like I said, I'm just a girl."

Kyden raised an eyebrow, "oh? Well maybe you'll feel comfortable telling me one day." she gave a reassuring smile. "What happens after rec?"

Tony chuckles, "but you are very pretty." he repeated. He looked over at Mike and Kyden before looking back at Kennedy. "What do yiu like to do?"

Mike nodded, "one day."
He crosses his legs on the couch, turning to face her. "After rec, if you were good last month, you get to go on the trip," he plays with hands. "Granted, they aren't very fun, but they can be if you make them."
