Getting Discovered

Easton watched as Brandy handed George the cup of ice for Hailey. Once she returned to him, he put his hand around her waist, pulling her a little closer to him. "To answer your question." He said softly. "You're brother was pissed that I got his baby sister knocked up and we weren't married." He said.

He laughed lightly. "And he didn't like me because I'm a country singer. He thought I'd just use you and then go on.' He grinned. "But that is that." He kissed her.

Easton looked at Chris. "So you and Hailey are cousins. That's pretty interesting. Because I thought you were getting ready to tell us that you got her pregnant." He winced, feeling Brandy elbow him in the side.

Hailey overheard Easton. "Easton, if I wasn't in labor right now, I'd be killing you right now." She snapped, breathing in and out. She then looked at her husband as she took the cup of ice. "Thank you." She put a piece of ice in her mouth. She chewed the piece of ice, then looked at George.

"George." She said softly. "I love you so much." She kissed him, then felt a contraction, causing her to grab onto his arm. She dug her nails into his skin, breathing in and out fast. "You can never touch me again!" She snapped. Yep, she was getting closer to being able to push.

**.Brandy looked over at Easton, her jaw dropped.**

Brandy: Easton seriously? Did you just say that?

**.Easton's expression was that if he had seen a ghost or a deer in the head light look. Then again Chris looked at Easton as if to say, man are you drunk or something?"**

Brandy: Geez Easton, I don't think you should say anything else.

Chris: Naw it is cool. He didn't know. But yea we are first cousin's. Her mom and my real dad are brother and sister.

**.Everyone turns and looks toward Hailey and George as she lets out a loud groan, as she pushes.**

George: That was a good one honey. A few more pushes like that and Henry Ryder, should be here.

**.Just then the siren is heard from the ambulance. George lets out a sigh of relief, knowing that soon as the baby is delivered he as well as Hailey will be able to get medical attention. Moments later Jon leads the EMTs into the room, where they come over to help with the delivery.**

EMT1: Looks like the baby is just about here. So we can't transport until it is delivered. Hey Kev, bring me a the delivery pack.

Kev: Ten-four.

**.He runs out and quickly returns with the pack. The EMT puts on the gloves and proceeds to get ready to deliver the baby boy.**

Easton quickly closed his mouth and said nothing else. He just watched as the ambulance pulled in. He was pretty happy to see them and knew that George had to be as well.

He walked out of the room with Brandy, still remaining quiet. He felt like a complete idiot now.

Hailey was relieved when she saw the Paramedics come in. "Oh thank goodness." She breathed as she laid there.

She looked at George, who was now getting behind her. She leaned back against him and breathed in then out.

She began pushing when she was told. She groaned in pain as she pushed, tightly squeezing her husband's hands.

**. The EMT brings over the kit and opens it as the other EMT is quickly pulling on his gloves.**

EMT1: Looks like Mrs. Strait is about to get the baby out. Ok Mrs. Strait one the count of three I want you to push as hard as you possibly can. Because one more good push should do it. Ok 1. 2.. 3...

**.George winces in pain as HAiley squeezes his hand tight as she pushed. Seconds later the sound of the baby crying fills the room.**

George: HAiley you did it baby, he is here.

**.The EMT wipes the baby off a little and placed a blanket on Haileys chest and lays the baby on it as he has George cut the cord. George smiles as HAiley takes the baby in her arms after the remander of the cord is tied.**

Brandy: He is gorgeous guys. I am a little jealous I am ready to have my babies now.

**.Brandy notices the tears in Hayley's eyes. She walks over.**

Brandy: Hailey it is ok. The big part is over. And you have a beautiful baby boy. I am so happy for you and George. Congrats girl.

**.The EMTs instruct everyone to leave the room as they begin to ready Hailey and the baby for transport. The storm had cleared and good thing.**

George: would it be ok if I rode with you in the ambulance guys?

EMT1: Sure. That isn't a problem at all.

**.George smiles. He tossed the keys to his truck to Chris.**

George: Chris meet us at the hospital. Hell all of ya come. See ya there!

**.The EMTs and George leave taking Hailey to the ambulance as the others head out to follow.**

Hailey was wheeled out of the house, holding their new baby. She smiled at the baby, then looked up at George. "Little Henry Ryder is finally in my arms." She said. "Our baby is finally here." She blinked away her tears.

At the hospital...

Hailey was in a room settled. She watched as Henry Ryder laid in the crib beside the bed sleeping. She looked over at her husband, who was sitting in a chair next to the bed as well. She giggled a little as he just stared at their son.

She grabbed her phone, taking a quick picture of her men. She then posted it on Facebook with the caption "My Men."

She then heard a knock on the door. It was everyone from the house. She motioned them to come in. "Hey guys."

Carrie smiled. "Oh he's so precious." She smiled, talking about Baby Henry.

Hailey just smiled as Carrie hugged her. She then laughed as George just continued to stare.

Easton stood there with Brandy. "Congrats Hailey. Congrats George. He's handsome." He then wrapped his arms around Brandy's waist, rubbing her belly.

**.Brandy smiles as she watches Hailey, George and baby Henry Ryder. She has a smile on her face, and looks to be deep in thought. She feels her husbands hands on her belly and she turns and smiles.**

Brandy: Not much longer Easton and our little Ashlyn Jade and Aaron Jacob are going to be here. I can't wait. Look how happy they are. George is defiantly beaming isn't he.

**.She smiles once again as Easton nods to her with a smile and kisses her forehead. A moment later Frankie and Jon walk in, and for once they weren't drunk.**

Frankie: Hey guys sounds like we missed the birth. But look at them happy faces won't ya Jon. (Looks over and notices Jon staring at Brandy.) Earth to Jon... (notices Jon's attention still on her.) Hey buddy snap out of it. Whats the matter, she got something on her pants or something?

**.Frankie shakes his head as Jon attempts to explain himself. Frankie walks off toward the bed where George and Hailey are. He smiles to them.**

Frankie: He is so cute. So I hear you named him Henry Ryder. (He gently touches the baby's cheek.) Hey there little fella, how are you? Welcome the to the world of country music.

**.The baby looks at Frankie. Frankie giggles a little, then goes back to the back of the room where Jon is back to staring at Brandy. Brandy rubs Easton's back as they turn to leave the room.**

Brandy: Babe I have a headache. We got any Tylenol in the truck?

Hailey smiled when Frankie and Jon walked into the room. "hey guys." she said. "Glad you could make it." She was really thrilled to see everyone. As she laid there, she watched Jon as he stared at Brandy. She couldn't help but shake her head a little at him, but did it in a way no one would notice.

When Frankie moved closer to them, Hailey brought her attention towards him. "Thanks Frankie." She said, letting George hold him. She thought it was so sweet - her husband was beaming, there was no doubt about that one.

She looked over at Martina McBride and smiled. "I never thought I would say this, but my husband's is beaming." She giggled a little.

Martina laughed a little. "I've never seen the King of Country Music beam till now." She looked at Hailey. "It looks good on him."

Easton nodded to Jon and Frankie, then turned his head to Brandy. "Yeah, I've got some in the truck. I'll go out there and get it for you." He kissed the top of her head before excusing himself out of the room.

When he left, Hailey watched Jon and Brandy. She moved a little. "Hey Jon. Do you want to go for a walk?" She asked. "It'll be a short one."

**.Brandy nods. She looks at Jon with a confused look. He nods to HAiley but says not a single word. Brandy then looks at HAiley as she attempts to get up. Brandy notices that Jon's silence kinda ticked her off.**

George: Hon what are you doing? You can't get up. You're still hooked up to the oxygen and the monitors. Just relax hon.

**.George helps his wife get back in a comfortable position in the bed, as easton returns with some Tylenol and a bottle of water for brandy.**

Brandy: Thanks babe.

**.She kisses his cheek as she pops the Tylenol and washes them down with some water.**

Brandy: Hope these kick in soon I don't want this to turn in to a migraine. (Pull Frankie to the side and whispers.). Frank, what's going on with Jon?

Frankie: I don't know but I think he still has a crush on you. But don't look like he is going to talk to HAiley either. He been kinda quiet the last couple days.

Brandy: Hope he's ok!

Frankie: He'll be find. I'll get him talking later. Some of his friends invited us to a party we'll get him drunk he'll be himself .

**.Brandy shakes her head and laughs. She hugs up to easton and lays her head on his shoulder.**

Hailey shot a look at George but said nothing. She just nodded, then looked at Jon with an apologetic look on her face. She was really hoping that she could talk with him.

Once she was comfortable in bed once more, Hailey sat there braiding her long black hair into a side braid. When she finished, she adjusted herself a little, letting herself rub George's back.

"So, honey, how's that hand of yours?' She asked. She hadn't really asked him how he was doing since their son was born.

Easton kissed the side of Brandy's hand when she laid her head on his shoulder. "You'll be okay baby." He whispered as he put a hand back on her stomach once again.

He felt the babies kick. "They're active kind of late tonight.' He commented as he rubbed his wife's stomach. He still couldn't believe it was twins - man he felt like the luckiest man in the world right now, well next to King George at the moment.

**.Frankie nods and walks over to Jon. He nudges his friends arm slightly.**

Frankie: Hey there buddy whats up? You ok? You don't seem like yourself lately. I think everyone is worried about you. Eveny the queen is worried and she just popped out a kid. Dude I am worried. Talk to your ol' buddy Frank.

**Brandy smiles as she lifts her head from Easton's shoulder as she see Frankie over talking to Jon. Jon nods as he and Frankie leave the room. She looks up at Easton. She shrugs.**

Brandy: I hope Jon is ok. I know after what happened in the beginning I shouldn't worry, but he is just himself today. Maybe he is jealous, I dn't know.

**.She smiles and lays her head back on her husband's shoulder as he gently strokes her hair.**

**.George stands smiling from ear to ear as he admires his new son in his arms. He is beaming, as he should be, the baby boy was beautiful. He had a full head of black hair, and big hazel eyes. He was already a happy little thing.**

George: Hailey, our baby is so beautiful I am such a proud papa. I have a beautiful baby, a gorgeous wife, what more could I ask for?

**.George changes his gaze for a moment as he sees Jon and Frankie walk by the window.**

George: So anyone know whats buggin Jon? Looks like Frankie is going to try to talk to him, but whats going on?

Chris: No one knows. Everyone has noticed it and he isn't talking to anyone.

Miranda: Yea. He is being kinda secretive and its kinda scary.

Easton had an arm wrapped around Brandy's waist as he stood there. He was concerned for Jon as well, and had a great feeling why he was like this, but wasn't going to say anything about it.

"I'm sure he'll be okay. Someone will talk to him soon." He said before kissing the side of Brandy's head. He then excused himself for a moment. "I'll be right back. I'm going to go to the hospital cafeteria." He then walked out of the room.

As he walked down to the hospital cafeteria, he thought about going to talk to Jon, but felt like he wasn't the best person for that job. He made it to the cafeteria then poured himself a cup of coffee. Once he was done, he started talking a little walk, letting his mind think on things.

Back in the room, Hailey smiled as she watched Little Ryder. "I know his first name is Henry, but I want to call him by his middle name. I'm not crazy." She laughed. "Baby Ryder." She kissed the top of the little baby's head. She smiled as she he cooed a little. "So precious." She wiped away some tears.

She then looked at George and everyone else. "If you guys don't mind, I'd like to talk with Jon." She said softly.

Miranda looked at Hailey. "Are you sure?" She asked. Hailey just nodded. "Yes, but when he is ready." She added. She then moved a little, feeling a little stiff. "Ooh." She groaned, rubbing her leg. "I don't know why i'm feeling so stiff."

Brandy: Yea I know. But his recent additude is go everyone on edge. I guess it is just weirding everyone out. Maybe it is because of me. Maybe he feels left out. I don't know.

**.Brandy nods at him as she feels his lips kiss her face. She watches as Easton exits the room. She walks over and sits down beside Miranda. Miranda looks at her.**

Miranda: Hey Bran, whats up? You ok?

Brandy: Yea, I guess I am like everyone else at the moment. Worried about Jon.

Miranda: Yea he isn't acting like himself is he.

Brandy: No he most defiantly isn't. I think this is my fault.

Miranda: Why would it be your fault?

Brandy: Because I really wanted him when this thing all started, but then Easton came back and of course I wanted what was best for my son. So I automatically felt it was to take Easton back. I can't lie I was never over Easton. But back when Easton and I split up, I really thought he wanted me gone, so I tried to get over him.

Miranda: Brandy hun, this is not your fault. We all make mistakes. If there is anything wrong Hailey will get to the bottom of it... (whispering to herself) I hope.

Brandy: You're right. I think I am stressing too much and it is not good to do right now. Thanks Randa!

Miranda: No problem. Glad I could help dear.

**.George looked at Hailey. He smiles. He admired her heart. He too worried about Jon.**

George: He will come around soon babe. Lord I just hope it is before we are to begin taping again. (He gently rubs Herny Ryder's little cheek.) Hey there little man, how are you?

**.George lowers his face to the baby's and brushes his nose against his. Everyone in unison says AWW. Moments later Frankie, Easton and Jon return to the room.**

Frankie: So Jon, I think the queen would like to speak with you from what I've been hearing. Everyone is worried about you man. You are not yourself, whats up?

When Easton returned to the room he had Jon with him. He knew that Hailey wanted to talk with him and he was hoping that Jon would talk with someone. He thought about maybe talking with him, but felt like maybe that wasn't the best idea after all.

Once they were back in the room, Easton stood next to his wife once again. He kissed her on the cheek and smiled. He watched George with Ryder and just smiled. That was so cute.

Hailey took a picture with her phone once again when George brushed his nose against their newborn son's nose. She had to blink away a couple of tears.

When Jon entered the room, Hailey glanced over at her husband then looked at Jon again. "Jon." She spoke softly. "If you don't mind, I'd like to talk with you." She wasn't trying to create a scene, so she spoke very little with everyone in the room - which is why she told him that she wanted to talk with him ONLY if he wanted to, then left it at that.

**.Brandy nudges Easton as Jon nods, it was a hint for everyone to leave.**

Brandy: While they are talking about whatever how about we go shopping for some baby clothes. We haven't had a chance to do any yet. Unless you have other plans. We could always grab a bit to eat, I know they hospital food ain't all that.

**.Easton looks at Brandy and smiles, letting her know she was right. She takes his hand as they walk out to the parking lot. They make their way over to Brandy's Blazer. She smiles as she gets in on the pasenger side.**

Brandy: I know babe, I need a new vehicle. Maybe a Dodge. (she winks as she hints around to her husband.) I'd love Durango. You know I'll need something we can put all the babies in.

**.Easton smiles as he slides into the driver seat. Hearing her say she wanted a dodge had to be music to his dodge loving ears.**

**.Back in the room, George is ushering the others out. He looks at Hailey as the nurse takes the baby to the nursury to be cleaned up.**

George: Thank you nurse. Hailey are you sure you don't need to me to stuck around? I mean I will be right outside with the others if you need anything just holler ok babe.

**.He smiles as she nods. He heads to the door.**

George: Alrighty, babe we'll all be out here, just let us know. Love you babe. Jon talk to you later.

**.He exits closing the door behind him.**

Easton nodded at the idea of going shopping and getting a bite to eat. As they walked out to the Brandy's blazer, he couldn't help but smile when she was talking about getting a new car. His eyes really lit up when she spoke about getting a Dodge.

"A Dodge." He grinned. "Would be an excellent choice for you." He kissed the side of her head. "A Durango...perfect." He laughed as he helped her in the car. "We can go get it for you today, if you would like." He was really excited about this.

Hailey nodded to George. "Alright honey." She spoke as she watched everyone walk out of the room. Once everyone was gone, Hailey looked at Jon. "Jon..." She spoke softly. "Tell me what's going on."

Jon sighed softly before he began to vent to Hailey about everything. He admitted that he still had feelings for Brandy and that he wishes that he could go back in-time to when their relationship first started. He would have fought harder for her, instead of letting Easton walk in and just sweep her away.

They continued talking for quite some time.

Everyone else, Carrie, Chris, Miranda, etc. all sat in the cafeteria with George. Chris looked at his watch then looked at George. "Dang how long do you think they are going to be?' He commented.

"Well I'm sure if Hailey is talking with him, she's going to take her time so that Jon completely understands everything. She's pretty great when it comes to things like this." Carrie piped in.

Martina McBride looked at George. "George, you okay?" She asked sweetly.

**.George kind of smirks.**

George: Probably till she gets it out of Jon. She is like a report on these things, she always gets her story so to speak.

**.The others laugh at the comment.**

Miranda: Where did Brandy and Easton sneak off to?

Chris: I think I over heard her saying something about going shopping for baby stuff.

Miranda: Oh cool. Its hard to believe their little ones will be here in a little bit. Next month right? Or it is the month after next?

Chris: I think next month. (he thinks a moment.) No its the month after next. Because she is two months behind Hailey.

Carrie: That's right.

**.They continue the conversation on Brandy and Easton's babies.**

**Easton and Brandy pull in to a Dodge dealership. Soon as they pull in Brandy sees the one. Her eyes light as he parks.**

Brandy: I like that one babe. The turquoise one. (she smiles as he grabs her hand and smiles.) I really like it.

**.Brandy and Easton walk over. A salesman walks over and recognizes Easton instantly.**

Salesman: Mr. Corbin how are you sir? This must be your lovely wife Brandy? How are you Mrs. Corbin?

Brandy: I am great. Thanks how are you?

Salesman: I am great thanks, so how can I help you today Mr. Corbin here to pick out a new Dodge truck?

Easton drove to the dealership then got out. He was very excited about this for Brandy wanting to get a new car. When the salesman walked up to him, he shook his hand and then chuckled a little. "I'm not here for myself. I'm here for my wife. She wants a Dodge Durango, which I think she found the one she wants." He laughed as she looked.

"Lets get the paperwork and such set up, please." He tells the salesman who then walked back inside to get things settled. He walked over to Brandy again and smiled. "You ready baby?' He chuckled.

Martina laughed a little. "Yeah leave it to Hailey. She'll get you to talk...there's no doubt about it."

15 minutes later. Jon walked into the cafeteria. He had a smile on his face and just looked much better than before. "Hey guys, Hailey says that you all can come back now." He grabbed himself a bottle of coke from the vending machine and a bag of chips as well.

He then started walking back to the room where Hailey was.

Everyone else followed him.

In the room. Hailey was sitting up in the bed, stretching a little. She groaned a little as she was stiff. "Oh gosh." She sighed as she sat there. She rubbed her legs and grinned a little when George walked in after everyone else. The nurse had Baby Ryder with her and the other nurses as well as they other babies. As Hailey moved a little, she ended up accidentally showing much cleavage, but didn't notice.

"Welcome back everyone." She smiled

**.Brandy smiles as she admires the car. She sighs as she feels Easton rub her back gently.**

Brandy: I love it. Let's buy it babe. Well I guess we better test drive it first... But this lets buy it.

**.Brandy giggled a bit as Easton smiled. He took her hand as she and Easton followed the salesman inside.**

Salesman: Here's the keys Mrs. Corbin. You guys take her for a spin.

**.Brandy takes the keys and she and Easton are on their way. She hands him the keys. As she opens the passenger side door. She squeals with happiness.**

Brandy: Heated seats babe, heated seats! I'm in love again... Already. And the color of the interior. Love it. This is defiantly the one I want.

**.She slides in as does Easton on the driver side. He smiles as Brandy is over joyed with the Durango. She looks back, she notices that back seat is huge. There is plenty of room for all three car seats, plus a roomy hatch.**

Brandy: Crank that engine babe lets see what this thang has...

Moments later

**.Everyone is back to the room. George smiles to his wife.**

George: So can tell us what was going on with Jon? Is every thing good now? I most defiantly hope so.

**.George smiles as HAiley raises up in the bed. He walks over to her and helps her adjust her pillow as she speaks.**

Easton laughed at his wife a little before climbing into the driver's seat. "Oh Sweetheart, you're so cute." He kissed her cheek, then started the vehicle. "Starts beautifully." He grinned.

He then started driving it. "This is the perfect choice, babe." He said as he drove. He then drove back to the dealership. He hopped out and looked at the salesman. "We'll take it." He grinned.

He watched as the salesman walked them inside and began the paperwork process.

Hailey adjusted herself. "Jon is good now. He just needed a little pick-me-up." She explained. "Just give him some time and he'll tell you everything. It's really not my business to tell." She said.

She smiled when she heard her husband make the comment "Atta-girl." She kissed him on the lips and smiled. When the nurse came back with Ryder, she smiled. "It's time for mommy to feed the little guy." The nurse said.

Everyone looked at each other then Hailey. "We're going to go anyway. We need to eat and I'm sure you guys want time to yourself." Carrie said. 'Congrats again." Everyone hugged Hailey and George, told Baby Ryder bye, then left.

Once everyone was gone, Hailey adjusted her shirt so that she could feed Ryder. She watched as her husband just smirked. She was a natural at this, which kind of surprised her.

**.The salesman smiles as they enter the office. He offers the two a seat, then walks around to the other side of his desk. He smooths out his tie and sits down.**

Salesman: So you like the Durango? That is the new one. So are you trading in the Blazer?

Brandy: Yup. We need something with more room in the back. We have one child, and as you can see, twin on the way. The blazer just don't have a lot of room.

**.The salesman nods in agreement. But then she thinks.**

Brandy: Oh babe, what about your other kids. Where are they going to ride?

Salesman: Oh now that is a dilemma. But I think I have a solution. Maybe a van? I have a new Caravan in the same color and with the same interior. Would you like to give it a look?

Brandy: I don't know... What do you think babe?

**.She looks at Easton. She really wanted his input. But considering he only had his kids 50% of the time, it probably wouldn't be an issue, but gas was expensive.**

George: Here comes our little prince. Hey there Ryder!

**.The nurses cleaned up the baby, and dressed him. He is wearing a outfit that says my dad is the king of Country, but look out here comes the prince. Hailey holds the baby on her stomach as they others quickly leave. Now its just George, the nurse and the baby.**

George: Babe you are a natural. (He sits on the edge of the bed as the nurse makes a couple final checks then leaves.) I guess its true what they say, all women have that motherly instinct.

**.George sits back and admires his wife as she expertly feeds their little man.**
