Asher squeezed his hand, flashing hin a small smile. "You guys were really great," She assured him. She could see he was nervous, so nervous that he was almost shaking. The thing was though, that he a had no reason to be. He and the guys had killed it. "I don't think anyone could top that," She said, giving him a nudge.

I gave her a light smile and kissed the side of her head. "I hope not. We really need this record deal" I said to her. Once the talent show was over, they sent us back to class, telling us that they would announce the winner later in the day. "Why don't we skip class for a bit?" I asked her, I don't think she really knew what she would be getting herself into, there were things about me that nobody knew, Like the fact that I had a three year old son.

"Don't stress about it. Really, you were amazing." Asher told him, not able to help but smile as he kissed her. When the show was over, she let him lead her out into the hall, her hand intertwined with his. Then he asked if she wanted to skip and she had no idea what to say. On one hand she was concerned about getting into trouble with her parents or even just a teacher but then again, she had an odd amount of trust in him. Finally she said, "As long as we're back in time to see who won."

"We'll be back by then" I said to her with a grin. I grabbed her hand and led her down the hallway. I pulled her toward the cafeteria which was right beside the main doors, and quickly slipped out before walking down the parking lot, her hand in mine. "Get in" I said as we arrived at my car. I unlocked the doors and got in. "So Asher, do you have a high pain tolerance?" I asked her with a devious smile. I knew she was going to ask why, and I bet she didn't realize that we were about to go to the tattoo parlor down the road.

  • Asher slid into the passenger side seat, immediately buckling up out of old habit. Her her parents were very obsessive and required her to be fully strapped in for every ride. They were strict about a lot of other stuff too, especially when it came to keeping her innocent but she knew more that they though. "High pain tolerance? I don't know, why?" She asked, growing suspicious of the sly expression he was holding. "We aren't going sword fighting, are we?" Her eyes grew wide.

I let out a loud laugh as I pulled into the parking lot. "No we're not going sword fighting Asher" I chuckled. I pulled the keys out and got out of the car. I opened up her door and helped her out. "This is why I was asking" I explained as I led her inside of the tattoo parlor. " We need to get you to loosen up some, and this is the first step" I said. "It's gonna be something really small, I'll get it with you."

  • Asher cringed slightly as she realised they had pulled up to a tattoo shop. No...no..no anything but a tatoo. Her parents would have her head if they saw so much as a glimmer of ink on her body. She crossed her arms over her chest, having half the mind to make him drive her back to school. But she didn't want to seem like a prissy, goody-two shoes. And she had to admit that tattoos looked pretty cool. So giving in to peer pressure, she hopped out of the car. "Okay but it has to be miniscule. Like, almost invisible."

I chuckled lightly before walking with her into the parlor, "We'e gonna get them between our fingers. You can't see that very well" I said to her. I looked at the two tattoo artists, and smiled. "We need to see your smallest tattoos" I said to her with a smile. When we were handed the book, I pointed to a small coffin. "This is what I was going to get," I explained to her, "It pretty much goes from the base of your finger to your first knuckle"

  • Asher leaned over rhis shoulder to get a better look at the picture. Now that she could see it up close, it didn't look all that bad to her. She could actually do this. And probably get away with it. "Okay," She said finally, looking up at him. "Let's do it. Let's get a tatoo." She was excited now, until she remembered the pain she was going to be feeling.

I smiled at her. "If it starts to hurt just reach over and grab my hand okay?" I said to her. I nudged her shoulder. "It's about time you get out of your comfort zone" I chuckled, I looked at the tattoo artists "We're getting this one" I said to them. They then took us over to the chairs and had us sit down beside each other. I looked at the tattoo artist and smiled. "I want mine on my left ring finger please" I said to them. I heard them start up the needles and I looked at her. "It's gonna hurt, I'm not gonna lie, but it's an amazing feeling to have a tattoo afterwards."

  • Asher told them that she wanted hers on the same side as him. She figured that that way, when they held hands, their two little coffins would line up. She Sattler into the chair feeling somewhat nervous. The anticipation of the pain would probably be worse then the actual needle. But it looked so bid and the sound made her teeth chatter. She sat back and tried to relax a little, using Matt's voice to calm her nerves. "Here goes nothing," She said to him wi th a slight smile.

What I had neglected to tell her is that there were multipule needles, six of them i believe, but because they were so tiny, it only looked like one. I gave her a gentle smile "Relax" I said to her, "you'll love it when it's done." I put my head agaisnt the head rest and turned to look at her

  • Asher grinned at him. "I really hope so. " The lady got to work now, inking in the tiny little tatoo between her fingers. It hurt like who knows what. But it wasn't nearly as bad as she thought it would be. If you didn't think about it too much, the pain sort of dulled and then it was more bearable.

I looked down at Asher's hand and smiled, my tattoo was completely done and after about two more minutes it was finished and i looked at her with a smile. "So what do you think?" I asked, standing up, I held my hand out for her, for me, tattoos were an addiction, I already had four, and I planned on getting more.
