Easton sat on the floor in front of Hayden as he played with his son. He kissed the little boy on the forehead, "I love you buddy." He said softly. Even though Addie hated his guts at the moment he was glad that she still let him see their baby boy. Easton had screwed up and he knew that and Addie made him very away of it. She barely even looked at him anymore when he came to visit. Even though her mom liked him her dad hated him even more. Easton smiled as Hayden's small hand wrapped about his fingers. "You are so amazing Hayden." He said to him. He was so in love with his little boy. Easton had to go to football practice soon, but he didn't want to leave him. "Buddy i gotta go to practice soon." He said. "Don't worry if we are lucky we can convince your mom to bring you to one of the games." He said, watching the little boy's eyes look around. Easton knew that Addie wasn't far from the living room. She always seemed linger when he was near Hayden. It was like she waited for him to screw up. Easton stood up then then kissed Hayden on the head one more time, "Bye buddy i love you." He said. He grabbed his bag then turned, seeing Addie at the doorway.

Addie sighed a little as she sat in the kitchen, just a room over from the living room. She couldn't go far away. She was afraid of leaving Hayden with Easton - mostly because she hated him so much. Here she was pregnant and he cheated on her. And she had been so in love with him too... And for that, she could never leave Easton alone with her son, even though she pretended to. She was so angry with him and she wished he understood that: even if they were "friends", they would never be okay, and it killed her everyday that she had to see him. "Bye." She said and then went in, picking up Hayden into her arms, bouncing him lightly. He was the joy of her life. If only his father hadn't messed up so much.

Easton looked at her, "Um...Thanks for letting me stop by." He said as he opened the front door."Bye." He said. He walked out of her house then went to his car and put his bag in the back. Easton drove to the school then got changed for practice. He was hoping eventually that Addie would trust him again. He loved playing football but now all he could think about was Hayden. Easton was worried that one day Addie would get tired of him and not let him see his son anymore. Easton finished practice, then grabbed his phone, You mind if i swing by and see Hayden for a bit? He sent the message hoping that she would say yes. He was still trying to convince her to let him have Hayden all night.

Addie sighed and nodded her head. She fed Hayden, breast-feeding him and all, and put him down for a nap. She didn't put him down though, just held and rocked him. He was such a joy in her life and she smiled lightly, kissing his forehead. He was her perfect little boy... Even though he looked so much like his father that it hurt. Nearly an hour passed and it felt like nothing. Just like the three months that had already passed. And the few before that when she spent the end of her pregnancy alone. She sighed when she saw his text. Didn't he ever go away?! Yeah, I guess. He just woke up from a nap. At least he would be happy for Easton.

Easton looked at the text, seeing that she would allow it. Easton pulled into her driveway then walked inside. He looked at Addie after her mom left them alone. "Hey." He said. He really didn't know what to say to him anymore. At the moment they were both putting off talking to each other. He smiled when he saw Hayden, "Hey buddy." He said as he picked up the baby. He looked down at his son, "How are you buddy?" HE said smiling as Hayden smiled at him. Easton was glad that he was aloud to see him.

Addie sighed a little as he got there and managed a smile at him, sighing. "Hi... How was practice?" She was trying to be civil with him... She knew that it was important that she was, for their child. "Like I said, he just woke up from a nap so... Have fun." She said and she retreated back to her hideout in the kitchen where she could see how he was holding him and everything. she was always afraid, even though she always knew he would be the perfect father. It just wasn't fair that he had to fuck everything up.

Easton smiled as he looked at his son who smiled up at him. He was so glad that he had something so wonderful in his lie. Easton sat in the chair, holding Hayden. Easton kissed the little boy's forehead. "I love you." He said looked down at him. Easton looked over, feeling Addie staring at him. "You don't have to monitor me."He said, slightly annoyed. He was getting irritated by it so he was going to make it known. Easton looked back at Hayden and smiled.

Addie shook her head and rolled her eyes. She crossed her arms and walked into the living room again, shaking her head. "I'm allowed to worry. I'm his mother." She said and crossed her arms, sitting down at the other end of the room at the couch. "It's either I'm out there or I'm in here - you make your choice then. You're pretty good at making the wrong ones, so I figured I would make it for you!"

Easton looked at her, "And I'm his father...now that we are both aware of what we are." He said, glaring at her. Easton frowned at what she said, "How about you let that go." He said. "I'm so sick of you bringing it up and i'm pretty sure i can handle being alone with my own son." He said as he laid Hayden down in his crib. He turned and looked at her, "You need to quit only seeing me as the bad guy Addie." He said, crossing his arms.

Addie rolled her eyes at him and then shook her head, looking away. Of course she would still bring it up - she was so angry that she still could cry about it. She had loved him and he did that to her... How?! "I see you as a arrogant manwhore that I unfortunately have to put with for my son. And yes, I'm so glad that you want to be in his life - but I don't want you to be in mine. Kay? I'll be in the kitchen - and yes, I'll be watching." She walked out.

Easton frowned as she walked out then looked at Hayden who was playing with the toy in the crib. Easton wrapped his hands around the end of the crib, "I love you buddy no matter what." He said as he watched his son. "I will see you tomorrow." He said. Easton stepped back then walked to the front door, not looking at Addie. He walked out then got in his car and drove to his house. The next day he sat in the classroom in the seat behind Addie. He stared at the board as he listened to the teacher talk.

Addie was relieved when he finally left and she was happy when the day was just over. The next day, she sat in class annoyed. She laid her head in her hand, annoyed as he sat behind her. He was breathing down her back just about and she couldn't stand it. She rolled her eyes. She was so uncomfortable. They barely looked at each other except for when he was visiting Hayden and she hated him.

Easton leaned back against his seat with his arms crossed as the teacher droned on and on. Easton laid his head on his desk, pulling his hood over his head. He closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep. Easton opened his eyes again and leaned back against his seat again. He put his feet on the bars on Addie's chair as he relaxed. He didn't understand how she could hate him this much.

This class just couldn't go fast enough. She hated that he was here with her. And so was the girl he slept with, just as an annoying reminder that the pain of childbirth that she went through just three months ago was done all by herself. She tapped her pen, texting her mom about how Hayden was. It was late morning and he was napping again. He was the only thing to make her happy anymore.

Easton was glad when the bell rang, then stood up. He watched as some kid ran into Addie, seeing her books hit the floor. He bit his bottom lip lightly as he picked them up. He set them on the desk then walked away from her, not saying anything. Easton couldn't believe they had went from loving each other to practically becoming strangers. He sighed as he walked to his locker, putting his books away.

Addie frowned when some dumb kid ran into her without an apology or anything and she sighed, feeling like an idiot right now. She was surprised when Easton helped her with her books, but he was gone before she could even thank him and she sighed lightly. It was better that they were strangers... Especially since they had been so in love - she couldn't not be angry about that. She sighed and went towards her next class, thinking how peculiar it was without his arm around her and having a sweet conversation with him on their way to class. When had things gone so wrong?!

Addie's friend Emily walked with her, "You know smiling isn't illegal." She said, smiling. She frowned when she said, Tiffany, the girl that Easton slept with. Tiffany sat behind Addie and Emily in their next class. "you know Addie, Easton must really hate you if you can't even trap him by getting pregnant." She said, laughing. Emily frowned, "Just ignore them." She said to Addie as they sat there.

Addie frowned a little and shook his head. "It's just not normal," she said as she scolded her for not smiling. "when did we get so out of hand?" She frowned when mode when she heard Tiffany and she shook her head. She just hoped Easton still wasn't seeing her... That would kill her even more - and she wasn't going near her child! "I hate them so much." She crossed her arms as she looked at Emily.

Emily nodded, "We all do."She said as she watched the teacher. Emily went over to Addie's house with her after school. She looked at Addie when she saw Easton's mom in the living room with Addie's mom. "Oh boy." She said. Marie smiled as she held Hayden in her arms, "You are the cutest baby ever." SHe said as she watched the baby. Marie looked over when Addie walked in, "Hi Addie." She said with a smile. Emily looked at Addie then back at Marie.
