I don't think a contest like this has ever been done on Mibba and I thought it would be interesting to do something a little different and to encourage the writing and posting of more feminist/girl oriented stories.
The concept is to write a story with a "feminist" plot. That can mean a million different things, and it's up for your interpretation. It could be about a girl super hero, it could be about a girl who kills her rapist, it could be about a group of sexist men (profiling misogyny in some way); it could be absolutely anything you want, as long as it goes with a general theme of female strength or somehow reflects the effects of sexism. You don't need to identify as a feminist to write a feminist story.
Rules
○ Must somehow involve a feminist/pro-woman theme (whatever that means to you).
○ Can be a one-shot or chaptered.
○ No maximum word count.
○ Minimum of 500 words.
○ You can enter as many times as you want.
○ Pre-writes are acceptable, but I'd prefer new stories.
○ Fanfiction is okay, preferably if the celebrity/character is a woman or girl.
Brownie Points
○ Lesbians!
○ Non-white people!
○ Women getting revenge on sexist men.
○ Female lead.
○ If it passes the Bechdel Test.
○ Girl unity.
○ If the main character identifies as a feminist.
○ If it's inspired by music by a female musician/band.
Deadline
Let's go ahead and make it my birthday, October 15, 2014. If you end up needing more time, I'll be flexible.

So hopefully that covers all bases. I don't expect many people to enter considering that a lot of people are afraid of the "f" word, but we shall see. Any other questions, feel free to ask!
