Between Heaven and Hell

Bella smiled softly. She looked out the window feeling like something was coming. She sighed hearing and said, "Please refrain yourself from doing so." She muttered to herself. She readjusted now sitting with both legs crossed sitting criss crossed. She watched him smile and thought it looked better on him. She nodded softly. She heard him and said, "I would have no use for it unfortunately. Thank you for the generosity." She murmured to him.

Sam looked down at her and murmured, "If I could stay I would. You know that." He told her not wanting her to be alone. He could see how the year had made her. He didn't want her alone anymore. If he could help it he would stay by her side forever. He felt her press her lips to his and he pulled her closer wrapping his arms around her waist as he did so kissing her back deeper.

Dean nodded his head towards her and smiled a little, "Good night then, Bella." He simply told her before falling back onto the bed. He sighed laying there. Something was coming he could feel it, he just wasn't sure what it was. He sighed rubbing a hand over his face unsure about things at the moment.

Cassie wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him back just as deep. She pulled back gently resting her forehead to his the best she could. She couldn't help but to let the smile escape her lips, "I know you would, Sammie." She whispered using the nickname she knew he hated as she grinned. "I know you would." She whispered again.

Bella gave him a sweet smile and murmured, "Goodnight Dean." She hummed a small lullaby to herself as she watched everything outside. She sat in the window sill pulling her legs to her chest as she did so. She set her chin on her knees as she watched everything going on. She watched the stars closing her eyes as she thought.

Sam held her to himself closely wanting to have done this for so long. Finally, it had happened. He just wished it was under different circumstances. He heard her and smiled softly opening his eyes to look at her lightly. He nodded sadly and kissed her one last time deepening it for a long moment before pulling away and held her before pulling away from that too. "I'll get into contact with you soon." He told her before having to leave, having disrupted the Devil's Trap so she could go.

Dean woke the next morning to his brother snoring from the bed beside of him. Rolling onto his side he groaned a little sitting up. Looking at Sam he could tell something was off about him and where he had went last night. He sighed rubbing his hand over his face turning his attention to Bella. She was sitting in the window sill with her chin resting on her knees. He smiled getting up and going over sitting beside of her, "Morning Bella." Dean said staring at her.

Cassie laid on the bed in the beaten up motel room. She took and sighed a little rubbing her hand over her face. She had no idea how her dad would react to her coming back let alone Dean and his intake on demons. She sighed sitting up in the bed her brunette hair falling in her face as she took her hand pushing it back. She grabbed her hair tie and pulled her hair into a messy bun. She kept racking her brain for ways to undo what she'd done. But nothing came to mind.

Bella had dozed off slightly during the night. She still awoke before the boys. She heard Dean get up and looked up at him seeing him walking towards her. "Morning." She murmured softly as she raised an eyebrow seeing him sit down. Her features softened as she heard snores in the house. She then said, "Guessing we're leaving today?" She asked.

Sam had gotten in late having to drive awhile. He had fallen into bed. He woke up in the morning awhile free Dean. He took a shower he dressed when he was done. He came out and saw Bella and Dean. He saw Bobby asleep at his desk and sighed softly. He put a blanket over him and walked over, "The next job is in California." He muttered.

Dean nodded his head towards her, "Guess so. Guess we're heading to California." Dean said smiling lightly at her. He got up and stared down at her. He just wanted to tell her how he felt. Right now he was still unsure. But he knew something about her was drawing him in. He took and headed out to the impala to get everything ready.

Cassie stood in the woods near the home she'd grown up in. She remembered all the times with her dad and mom. Her dad chasing her through the woods and the junkyard. Playing with Sam and mocking Dean. She sighed biting on her lip as she ran a hand through her hair. She turned around seeing Lucifer and Yellow eyes there smirking, "Awe, she's missing the Winchester." Eyes laughed.

Cassie narrowed her eyes throwing a punch as Lucifer grabbed her by her throat smirking, "Now. Now." He told her smirking as he squeezed hard causing her to cough out. He smirked vanishing with her. She knew the deal was about to get real she made with him.

Bella sighed softly hearing they were heading to California. She heard him and said, "Alright." She ran a hand through her hair. She watched as he left. She stood up and saw Bobby. She sighed softly and wished she could help. It had been a hard year for him. When she heard them tell her they were ready, she atood up again and headed for the car. She got in the back.

Sam sighed as he fixed up everything. He packed their bags. He stuck them on the trunk allowing Bella to have the back. He got in the front and got on his laptop as he did so. He researched as they drove. He glanced back at Bella and looked at Dean sharing a look with him. His thoughts went back to Cassie and wondered how she was.

Dean waved bye to Bobby as he got in the Impala and cranked it up. He shifted it down into drive as he pulled onto the road. "Going to be a long drive to California." Dean stated the obvious as he smirked cranking up the music of AC/DC and sang along with Hells Bells.

Cassie looked at Yellow Eyes and Lucifer as they both smirked down at her, "You are going to bring Sam to me." He ordered.

"You're going to go suck a big dick." Cassie said narrowing her eyes. She growled loudly as she took the knife she had took from Sam's coat the night before and smirked disappearing from the two of them. She wasn't doing shit, she was going to help take them down.

Sam sighed and knew he and Dean were under a lot of stress. Michael wanted Dean and Lucifer wanted him. He heard the music and said, "Dude you really need different music." He told him. He then sighed softly as he searched on the web. He bit his lip as he did so.

Dean glanced in the mirror seeing Bella dozed off. "Sam, what if I told you I have a pull towards her." Dean looked at Sam a second before he continued driving on the road he was on.

Cassie took her phone out pulling up Sam's number. She'd kept it all these years, she sent him a message, ~Where are you guys going?~

Bella didn't seem to mine the music at all. She didn't need to sleep but she always liked the feel of sleeping. She curled even closer to the door her face lying gently on the glass.

Sam looked up hearing Dean. He sighed and said, "Last time you had a pull towards someone it wasn't good." He reminded him. He checked the message and saw it was from Cassie. He sent back California.

Dean looked at Sam, "Remember the last one, she got turned into a damn demon." Dean growled gripping the steering wheel as he kept his eyes focused. He sighed looking in the mirror at Bella. He wanted her more than anything, and he was going to keep her safe and make her his.

Cassie read the message from Sam and took off. She was going to head to California, she had to tell them about Lucifer's plan and she had to help them stop him.

Bella stirred a little and sighed turning over and curled up again falling asleep once more. She didn't know much about Dean but she felt like he was more than meets the eye. She knew he was good. Otherwise the angels wouldn't of saved him. Her wings flashed in the light.

Sam sighed and said, "Like Cassie." He frowned again and leaned his head on the dash board. He then sighed a bit. He then muttered something and popped his neck again. He searched on his laptop some more.

Dean looked at Sam and sighed, "Sorry, I know this shit is hard." Dean muttered towards him as he rubbed a hand over his face. "I know you have a thing for her and miss her just like Bobby. But she made her choice. There isn't much that we can do, Sam." Dean sighed turning his attention back to the road and glancing back at Bella every now and then keeping an eye on her.

Cassie frowned as she drove the beat up mustang towards the California line. She pulled into a hotel as she got out and headed inside. Getting her a room she walked inside crashing on the bed. She was a rogue demon, she didn't want any of this anymore. All she wanted to do was be with Sam and her dad.

Bella woke up soon enough but she kept her eyes closed listening to them talk. She sat up after awhile and yawned rubbing at her eyes without smearing her makeup. She sighed and said, "This would be so much easier if I could just fly." She muttered.

Sam rolled his eyes and said, "It wasn't just a thing." He gave him a look. He turned his eyes out the window and sighed before returning to his eyes to his research. He heard Bella's soft voice and said, "An hour or two away." He said. He ran a hand through his own hair as he replied.

Two hours later they pulled into the motel they'd be staying in. Dean killed the engine and got out and let Bella out as he helped her out. He smiled down at her as he saw Sam take off like a bat out of hell. Dean sighed knowing he had struck a nerve with the Cassie issue. Dean sighed looking down at Bella as he walked with her to get them a room before heading to it, "Did you hear anything on the angel radio we need to be aware of?" Dean asked sitting on the bed.

Cassie sat in the bar picking at her nails sighing. She took and grabbed the beer bottle and took another long swig off it, letting the toxic fluids go down her throat. She looked around the room making sure no demons or anything were lurking. She kept her head down and her nose clean so she hopefully wouldn't get tracked.

Bella got out with the unneeded help from Dean. She thought it was sweet though so she let him. She sighed seeing Sam take off and gave Dean a look. She then headed inside. She ran a hand through her hair. She heard a whistle and rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath.

Sam took off once they were there looking for a bar or something. He didn't need nor want to be around his brother right now. He had struck a bad nerve with that. A really bad one. Once there he for a beer and some vodka, not bothering to slow his pace.

Dean sighed sitting at the small desk in the room looking out the window. He had just fucked up bad. He had taken and gotten into it with his baby brother. He shook his head running a hand over his face as he looked out the window before pulling the curtain back shut.

Cassie glanced down the bar seeing Sam. She sighed seeing how he was drinking as she got up and moved down towards him. She kept the hat on her head and sunglasses over her eyes. She placed her hand over his, "You need to slow down." She whispered.

Bella noticed Dean was not happy. She sat down on the widow sill again and said, "You okay?" She raises an eyebrow and ran a hand through her hair. She bit her lip and swung her legs lightly as she looked at him.

Sam laughed bitterly and said, "I'll be fine." He said. He then said, "If you had heard what he said to me you'd understand." He told her and laid his head down on the table his hair lol as hell. He sighed. He looked back up at her.
