Live Fast, Die Beautiful

I sighed sitting on the porch staring up at the night sky. Tomorrow life as I knew it ended and stupid school started back up. I took and watched the ran drop down off the porch roof as I took and smiled at the sound of the rain. Something about it just eased me and calmed me down. I saw my best friend running towards the house as she hit the steps as I laughed lightly, "Hey Em." I smiled at Emily.

I smirked as Scott and I walked through the woods. I had over heard on the police radio about a body being found. I continued walking as I heard Scott behind me groaning a little, "Are you sure Stiles?" He asked causing me to laugh as I stopped turning around, "As long as we stay out of sight, my dad isn't going to see us. Hence us not getting into trouble. C'mon man." I chuckled turning around as we continued walking for where I knew they'd be.

Scott walked through the woods along with Stiles at his side. "Are you sure about this Stiles?" He asked him. He huffed having to use his inhaler. He took a gasping breath pulling his life saver away from his face and taking in a big breath of air. Sighing, he let it back out and could breathe again. "You're going to get in trouble big time if he finds you here." He warned his best friend. He walked with him looking around. He heard the cops and cursed. He ran with Stiles but tripped and ended up going a different way. He looked around for his inhaler as he fell. He gasped as he hit the floor. Wincing, he searched for his inhaler.

Emily sighed having her hood over her hair and face. She bit her lip as she hurried to her best friend's house. She made it there and ran up the steps. She sighed in relief. She smiled softly and murmured, "Hey Carly." She bit her lip lightly. The only person she wasn't shy around; Carly Summers. She made her way over to her and sat down beside her pulling her arms around herself and shivering. "Jeez it's freezing when it rains." She bit her lip once more biting over her piercings lightly. She had her hair pulled up so it was out of her face.

Stiles stood with his dad and sighed knowing he was in a shit load of trouble. He took and looked at his dad, "Where's Scott?" He asked as Stiles shrugged his shoulders. "Guess home studying." Stiles replied to his dad as his dad shook his head, "Scott come out." He ordered. But nothing happened. Stiles knew he'd went another direction and was glad so his best friend didn't get into trouble, "Told you so." Stiles told his father sighing.



Carly headed inside a second getting her friend a blanket and a new shirt. She smiled bringing Emily inside to let her changer her clothes, "There's some warm clothes and a blanket." She smiled at Emily as she stretched a little. "I dread tomorrow, school starting back and all. But I keep telling myself, this year is going to be better." She smiled at Emily.

Scott searched and searched for his inhaler. He suddenly saw eyes in the darkness. He gasped and backed up and kept backing up tripping over something and falling on his ass. He winced and looked up and cried out when he was bit. He got up shaking it off and started running his side bleeding, leaving his inhaler where It was. He called Stiles and made it to his house. He winced and took care of his wound waiting for Stiles to pick up. He then said, "Dude, come over."

Emily smiled at her friend and said, "Thanks Carly." She murmured practically. She wasn't shy around Carly but she still wasn't loud. She changed into the shirt and wrapped herself in the blanket sitting down on the bed. She smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I don't want to go either. I hope this year is better than last year." She said remembering how last year was for herself. She winced unconsciously and her teeth went back to her lip, biting roughly into the skin.

Stiles rushed to Scott's place as he took and went inside and up to his room. He saw him on his bed and his eyes widen at the state of his friend, "Dude, what the hell happened?" He asked him.

Carly looked at Emily as she frowned, "You ok?" She asked sitting down beside of Emily knowing something was up. The two had been attached to the hip since they were five years old.

Scott saw Stiles rush into the room and said, "Something bit me!!!" He told him. He was bandaging it as they spoke. "Dude, I lost my inhaler. When I was running I tripped and fell and then it was right there. I think it was a wolf." He told his friend quickly as he dressed his wound. He looked up once he was done and said, "I told you it was a bad idea, Stiles!" He said.

Emily nodded and said, "Yeah Yeah, just...thinking about last year." She confessed. "I never really told you all the stuff people did to me. I didn't want you getting upset." She told her. "I told you some of it, but not all of it. I told you about the teasing and stuff, but I didn't tell you how bad it was. No one physically touched me though." She told her softly. She looked up at her friend and murmured, "I just wanted to handle it because before you used to.." She frowned herself brushing her hair from her eyes.

Stiles ran a hand through his hair sighing, "Yeah ok, so it was a bad idea." He paused staring at him, "Dude I am freaking sorry though. This shit shouldn't have happened." He sighed leaning into the wall behind him. If something had happened to his best friend he'd never forgiven himself.

Carly frowned at her sighing, "Em." She said staring at her. "I would've taken them down like always, no matter what. No one messes with my best friend and gets away with it. This year is going to be different I can already feel it." She assured her best friend.

Scott sighed and said, "I just wanted to hear you admit it." He gave his friend a grin. "Let's hope it heals and mom won't find out." He said knowing how his mom was. He nodded and said, "Yeah it's fine. We have to go back and get my inhaler. Oh...I found the body..." He told him eyes wide as he forgot to mention that detail.

Emily bit her lip hearing her start and groaned. "I've got to learn to stick up for myself though..you're not going to always be there." She said sadly. She hugged her and mumbled, "I hope so. Last year was terrible." She was the same size as Carly, except height. She was shorter than her in that aspect. Just by a few inches though.

Scott nodded in agreement and said, "I just like to hear you say you're wrong." He gave him a crooked grin. He nodded and said, "Just so long as mom finds out. Dude...I found the body. I need to go get my inhaler too." He said biting his lip roughly as he thought about it. "Shit! I'm so screwed. I'm so so so screwed." He groaned.

Emily bit her lip again and sighed hearing her, and said, "I know, but you're not always going to be there and I need to learn to stick up for myself as it is." She hugged her tightly and said, "I hope so. Last year was terrible." She hid her face in her friend's shoulder and relaxed as she hugged her.

Stiles looked at Scott narrowing his eyes, "Ass." He chuckled out and sighed sitting down in the bean bag chair, "Why don't we just go get your inhaler?" Stiles said looking at Scott smirking, "Plus I get to see the body." He grinned mischievously.

Carly held to Emily and nodded, "Yeah it was." Carly replied lowly keeping her arms around her best friend. They'd been through so much but last year was the worst when Carly's mom was murdered by an animal she had no idea what it was. She sighed a little at the memory...

Scott grinned at him and said, "You're the one that dragged me out there." He told him laughing. He sat down on his bed getting his shirt back on. He nodded and said, "Right now? Can't we do it tomorrow, Stiles?" He asked. "Skip lacrosse practice." He told him.

Emily nodded softly and murmured, "I know Carles. I miss her." She murmured softly. She curled up and closed her eyes. She then went, "Are you doing sports this year?" She opened her eyes and looked up at her gently. She gave her a smile and said, "It'll be okay." She cuddled into her and said, "Wanna binge tonight?" She grinned softly.

Stiles looked at him and sighed, "Alright." He said tossing his hands into the air, "Skip practice then." He said leaning into the beanie chair staring at Scott, "Dude you sure you're alright? Cause you look like shit." Stiles said.

Carly smiled lightly at Emily and nodded, "I doubt i'll be doing any sports this year. Just don't have the heart I guess." She told her and smiled nodding her.

Scott sighed in relief relaxing a small portion. He nodded and said, "We both don't play anyways." He laughed. He sighed though. He heard him and said, "Excuse me for having a big ass chunk of meat missing from my side." He told him rolling his eyes. "No shit." he muttered. "I'll look better in the morning. You sleeping over or is your dad pissed off?"

Emily nodded and said, "I know we said we'd both try out for something, but I think I'm going to stick to band." She murmured to her. She played the violin. She smiled back widely and said, "Scary movie marathon? Or romantic comedy?" She chuckled softly to herself and looked up at her friend.

"Pretty pissed off." Stiles said sighing as he got up stretching, "Supposed to be "grounded"" Stiles laughed at the comment shaking his head. "See you at school tomorrow man." Stiles said leaving his friend's place heading home to get rest before school.

"Scary movie." Carly laughed smiling at Emily, "I'll go make the popcorn for us." She smiled heading down to get the popcorn. She finished making it as she took and headed back up to her room sitting on the bed with Emily.

"Jesus. Dude, he's going to kill you." He told him. "One of these days he's just going to kill you." He laughed back. He then said, "Alright. Be careful man." he said as he waved. He then sighed and flopped back on his bed thinking. He closed his eyes.

Emily smiled and said, "Okay!" She got up and put in a movie. She had clothes over here, so she would just spend the night. Her parents didn't care at all. She then sat back down and smiled at Carly. "Ready!" She declared. She pulled the blankets over them setting the popcorn between them as she curled into a ball and started to watch the movie with her.

Stiles laughed at Scott's comment shaking his head, "One day." He snickered heading home. When he arrived he plopped down on the bed and laid there a second. He was hoping this year was different. He'd had his eye on a girl since last year and was hoping that this year he'd work the nerve to ask her out.

Carly heard her alarm going off as she jumped up seeing it was done six in the morning. She stretched a little realizing that they'd fell asleep during the movie. She looked over seeing Emily curled in a ball sleeping as she smiled pushing her side a little, "Hey we have to get ready for school." Carly whispered to her before getting out of bed and heading into her bathroom to get ready.

Scott shook his head at Stiles and laughed. He got up in the morning and started to get ready. He got his clothes on and then fixed his stupid hair. He waited for Stiles to get there as he looked at the bloody bandage at his side. He slowly began to take it off needing to put another on there. His eyes widened when nothing was there. He shook his head knowing this was not good. How was this possible???? It wasn't!!! He hurriedly waited for Stiles to get there being really anxious.

Emily felt her push her side and groaned a little. She soon got up and mumbled, "We fell asleep?" She got up and prepared for the day. She got her tank top and shorts that she would be wearing on. The tank top was red and black and patterned in a weird way. She did her makeup in the side mirror. She put her hair up like she had had it yesterday. She tied the bandana around it to keep it up. She grabbed her backpack having had it yesterday. She grabbed her hoodie she left over there and shoved it in her bag. She then got her sneakers on and waited for her friends to be done. She hummed as she did so.
