Zacky sat in a bar with some of his friends, Matt and Brian. The three had decided to go out for some drinks, trying to pick up some girls for the night. Their main goal in this town was to finally find their soulmates, but it was going to take a bit of time, that he already knew. But for now, they were just prowling around, looking for women to feed off of until they found that right girl that they knew was the one.October had to practically drag Anna into the bar, knowing she wasn't a big fan of drinking. But the other girl had just been dumped by her boyfriend, and now she needed a rebound. So October was going to help her find that guy. "Come on, Anna," she murmured. "It's not like you're making a life commitment, this is just a one time thing. You need to move on and show that asshole that you're better off without him."
Brian sipped his drinks as he looked out for girls. None had really caught his eye yet, and he was thinking that he'd just go home alone. It was something he hated doing-- not that he really slept, but it was nice to have some company. He exhaled and finished his beer, already motioning to the bartender for another one. "Might be a slow night tonight."
--
Anna sighed and shrugged her shoulders. She knew October meant well, but she was being a pain in the ass. "Okay, okay." She spoke, following her best friend up to the bar. "Glass of straight Jagermeister, please." Anna slipped the bartender a five. She figured that as long as she was here, she might as well get completely shitfaced and have a good time.
Zacky almost agreed with Brian when he spotted two girls across the bar. He nudged his friend in the side and nodded over at them. "Look," he said. "Two candidates perhaps?"October sat next to Anna, ordering a martini as she reached into her purse to check her phone. When she had no messages, she closed her purse and then waited for her drink. She was ready to get just as hammered as Anna was. She was typically a classy woman, but she was no stranger to alcohol.
Brian eyed the two blondes. He had to admit, they were pretty fucking hot. He downed the rest of his drink. "Perhaps," he said. "Let's stay back for awhile, see how drunk they get."
--
Anna sipped her Jager. "You know what, Oct?" She said. "I definitely needed something like this."
Zacky sighed. They always had to wait. He just wanted there to be one time where he could just get up and feed off of a girl with no fuss or mess. He was hungry, he couldn't help himself. "You know the blood doesn't taste as good when it's tainted," he told Brian quietly, crossing his arms over his chest.October smirked at her. "I told you," she said. "Alcohol is the answer, in certain cases like this." She took a sip of her martini and licked over her lips, sighing contently. She looked around the room, grinning when she spotted a jukebox. "Be right back." She got up and walked over to the jukebox, putting a dollar in and picking a song she and her best friend loved. When it started playing, she rushed back over and took Anna's hands, pulling her off her stool and started dancing with her.
"I know," Brian whispered. "But it still does the job." He watched the girls as they got up to dance. "Go dance with them, man. I'll join you." He patted Zacky's shoulder.
--
Anna got up and followed October to the floor, humming along wifth the song. She was beginning to wonder why she had even hesitated with going out with October in the first place.

Anna got up and followed October to the floor, humming along wifth the song. She was beginning to wonder why she had even hesitated with going out with October in the first place.
Zacky thought about it for a minute before he nodded his head. He stood up and straightened his shirt out, clearing his throat and licking over his fangs before he walked over to the girls. He looked at the platinum blonde and smiled. "May I join you?" he asked."Tell me I'm not the bestest friend ever," October joked, smirking at Anna and grabbing her hand, twirling her around. She looked over when a handsome guy walked over, asking if he could dance with Anna. October beamed and wiggled her eyebrows at her best friend before she walked back over to the bar to give them privacy.
Zacky chuckled as he watched her. "You're a pretty good dancer, huh?" he asked.October raised an eyebrow at the man. "Well, I guess saying no to a free drink isn't smart," she said. "But I won't have sex with you."
Zacky chuckled. "I'm not that great of a dancer, but I would never give up a chance to talk to a pretty girl like you," he said."Oh really?" October chuckled. "There's no way in hell a guy that looks like you could only want to be nice by offering me a drink. Might as well adopt a cat, 'cause that's the only pussy you'll ever play with. I'll take a beer."
"Well, well, well," Zacky smirked back at her. "A hair flipper. That's definitely a sign of flirting, you know." He knew some of his lines were corny, but he was hundreds of years old, and it was hard to learn new lines in the new times. Things changed fast."October," she introduced herself, smiling as she took a swig of her beer. If there was one thing she was good at, it was handling her alcohol. Her mother was an alcohol and she just had to assume it was a talent passed down to her.
Zacky chuckled and nodded his head. "I take it you're the flirty type then," he said."Cheers," she said, smiling back at him. She took a swig of her drink and looked over at Anna. "If your friend hurts her, I will personally castrate him," she warned.
"Good," Zacky smirked. He reached out and took her hands, spinning her around and dipping her."And how much do you suppose I'm supposed to trust you?" October asked, raising an eyebrow.
