I saw Willa doing the dishes as I took and walked back towards her. I took and smiled lightly as I lent against the counter, "Babe, can we go talk?" I looked at her as she sighed a little. I sighed knowing she didn't hear what I had whispered into her ear last night. I looked at her taking her into my arms looking down at her.

"I'm extracted that we're having another one. I promise to keep you, Gracie, and our unborn child safe." I told her keeping her in my arms.

    Lacey

I smiled at Jax leaning over the best I could pecking his lips lightly, "Meeting go ok?" I whispered to him as he nodded his head.

"Ok I guess." He said softly.

I nodded my head a little smiling at Jax. I kept Abel in my arms as he shifted a little in his sleep. I smiled watching him as I stroked his head. I looked at Jax smiling at him. No matter what shit was going on, this had to be the perfect moment.

"Actions speak louder than words, Brian. I know that this wasn't planned and I know that the timing couldn't be worse. I get that you're worried about everything, but I'm fucking scared out of my mind too," I told him and he sighed and hugged me tighter as a tear slipped from my eye. "I'm freaked out about everything going on now too, but the thing I've been afraid of the most is telling you about this."

"I'm sorry," he whispered as he titled my chin up to kiss me. "I love you Willa," he added as he wiped my tears away.

"I love you too," I whispered back and he kissed me again.

"Come on, let's take a ride," he smiled as he took my hand and started pulling me out of the kitchen. "Hey Matt," he called out.

    "Yo," Matt called back.

"Can you and Beth keep an eye on Gracie? She's up front with the girls. I need a few hours with my wife, somewhere away from this fucking place," Brian explained and Matt nodded.

"No worries Brother, I could use the practice anyway," he replied as he looked over at his wife and smiled.

Brian looked back at me with a smirk and I gave him a small smile as I let him lead me out of the clubhouse and out to his bike. We both pulled on our helmets and I climbed onto the bike behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist tightly as the smell of the leather from his cut invaded my nose. I smiled as he pulled out onto the street and started heading for the mountains.

    Jax

Later that night at the clubhouse everyone toasted in celebration of the news that Lacey and I were expecting. The family feeling was overwhelming as kids ran around and played together and we all shared stories. Everyone in this room had love for each other, at least so I thought.

"Jax," Chibs said quietly to get my attention and then nodded to the chapel. I nodded and headed in with him.

"What's up?" I asked as he turned on the TV that our security cameras were fed to.

"There's been a guy sitting across the street on his bike for the past 45 minutes. He's not wearing a cut or anything to identify him. What do you want us to do?" He questioned as Tig peeked in and I waved for him to come in. Juice followed close behind.

"Grab him and bring him into the garage. Do it quietly. Let me know when you have him in there. I'll have Bobby and the prospects keep everyone inside until we figure out who this guy is," I replied.

    "Aye," Chibs nodded.

Bobby joined us in the chapel and I told him what was going on. He headed back out to the main area of the clubhouse and discreetly told the prospects what was going on. Once everyone was clear on what they were to do I headed back out and sat down on one of the sofas as I pulled Lacey into my lap. She was laughing but her smile quickly faded when she saw the look on my face.

    "What's going on, Jax?"

I smiled feeling her holding onto me. I took and kept my eyes focused as I turned up the trail to the cabin I had up in the woods that no one knew about. I smiled as we pulled in and I killed the engine to the bike. I got off helping Willa off as I took my helmet off and smiled slipping my arm around her waist. I kept her close to me as we took and headed inside the cabin. Once inside I shut the door taking Willa into my arms as I lent in kissing her lips deeply.

    Lacey

Jax looked at me shaking his head, "Nothing babe." Jax replied to my question causing me to sigh and sit up looking at him.

"Jax, you're..." I paused seeing Tig come out of the room looking at him nodding his head.

"Babe, i'll be right back." Jax said.

"Jackson." I said looking at him as he turned to face me. I narrowed my eyes as he returned the gaze.

"Lacey, not now." He said in a warning tone before walking off.

I narrowed my eyes at his back as I took and looked at Lyla seeing Abel playing with her. I took and cleared my throat as I walked outside of the club as my dad tried to keep me inside. I pulled away walking to the office and slamming the door shut. I just needed a breather.

I took my rings off and dropped them into my pocket before pulling my gloves on and stepping into the garage. Chibs and Tig were holding the guy down in a chair. His hands were bound together behind him and Juice was sitting on a chair across from him pointing a gun at his head to make sure he cooperated. I told Juice to move as I took his seat and looked over the guy, realizing that he was wearing a Mayan cut with a Prospect rocker.

"Why did they send you here?" I asked him.

"I don't know what you're talking about, I was just pulled off to the side of the street so I could make a phone call."

I stood up from the chair and hit him hard across the face and he groaned in pain as blood started running from his nose.

"What does Alvarez want?" I asked him again.

"To fuck your mother," he smirked and I hit him again a few more times.

"Why is my club being watched?" I asked him and he just stayed quiet. I started hitting him over and over and then I pulled my gun on him and pressed it against his forehead.

"Alright, alright, alright!" He yelled as he shook his head in attempt to gain his bearings. "He's not happy about the changes that are going on. He doesn't like having to deal with Gates but you getting out of the drugs doesn't leave him a choice."

"His family issues aren't my problem," I stated as I put my gun back in my holster. "It sounds like your boss should have eyes on him, not me."

"Trust me, he does. You need to know that this isn't going to end well if things stay the way they are."

"You're right, they're not," I told him as I looked over at Tig. "I'm done with him, get rid of him."

I turned and walked out of the garage as I heard Tig's gun go off. It looked like I wasn't going to have any other options than to reach out to Gates.

    Willa

We had taken a short nap in each other's arms after round one and he moved to lay on his side facing me as we caught our breaths after round two. He placed his hand on my cheek and leaned down to kiss me lovingly before propping his head up on his hand and then placing his other hand on my stomach and brushing his fingers back and forth lightly. We exchanged small smiles and he leaned down to brush his lips against mine again.

"Do you think it's going to be a boy or another girl?" He asked softly and I shook my head.

"I have no idea. I'd be happy either way," I said honestly.

"I think I would too. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a son, but Gracie's my little princess and I wouldn't really mind it if we had another girl," he smiled. "Having her changed me a lot, I think for the better. By no means am I saying that it earned me redemption for all of the shit that I've done, but it makes me think about the way I go about business. I know that I want her to see Daddy a certain way when she gets older and I'm trying to make the changes I need to in order to make that possible."

"I know Baby," I told him with a small smile. "You're a good Daddy to our baby girl. I know that shit's crazy right now and the club isn't in the best place, but you're trying to turn it all around and you still manage to come home almost every night and be there for her."

"Well, I'm glad that you're routing for me, because I'm pretty sure that I don't have many people on my side right now. We can make good money with the girls and there's other legal ways to bring in cash, but none of it pays like the guns or the drugs do."

"Well, you just have to get the rest of the guys completely on board then. When Matt and Beth have the baby maybe he'll understand more why you're pushing for this. Having Gracie brought a lot of things to light for you, maybe it will bring things to light for him too," I tried to reason and he nodded.

"I'm not worried about him right now though," he smirked as his fingers brushed down my side and he leaned down to kiss me heatedly.

"No?" I questioned teasingly and he shook his head. He pressed his lips to the skin just below my ear and I felt his smile fall as his phone started ringing. "Don't answer it Brian, please," I pleaded with him.

"I'm sorry Baby, I have to," he whispered and kissed me one last time before grabbing the phone off of the night stand. "Yeah?" He answered as he moved onto his back and I rested my head on his chest as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Fuck, alright, I'll be there as soon as I can."

I heard the office door open up as I looked over seeing Jax come in and pull the door close. He took and walked over sitting down beside of me putting his hand on my leg at my inner thigh as I looked at him. He let a sigh escape my lips, "Gemma told me that you stormed outta of there after everything." Jax said.

"I did." I looked away from him sighing.

"Lacey what's wrong?" He asked forcing me to look at him.

I sighed staring at him, "Was it one of Alvarez men?" I asked him.

Jax just sighed nodding, "See Jax. There not happy because of the deal." I sighed knowing he did it for me. "What did he say?" I asked.

"I made the damn deal for you, Lace." He retorted causing me to sigh, "To warn me." Jax simply said.

I took and cupped his cheek, "I know you did baby." I whispered stroking his cheek. "And I am thankful you did." I lent in kissing his lips. "Guess I am worried and a little freaked out after everything. And all the changes going on." I told him.

Jax looked at me and cupped both cheeks. I lent in kissing his lips lightly resting my forehead to his. We'd over came so much, and no matter what. We'd overcome this too.

    Brian

I heard Willa sigh as I turned and looked at her frowning, "Baby I am so sorry." I told her leaning down kissing her lips deeply. "I'll make it up to you, I promise babe." I said before taking and getting out of bed and dressing. I grabbed everything I needed leaving the bedroom.

I saw two members and a prospect already guarding the house. I got on my bike and headed for the Club. Once I got there I went inside to see my mother and Alvarez sitting there as Matt and Zacky kept guns pointed at them. I crossed my arms narrowing my eyes at the two, "Just like your old man, huh." Alvarez snickered.

I narrowed my eyes punching him hard as I back handed my mother glaring at the two, "What do you want?" I sneered.

"I don't like the deal you and Teller made. I don't like having to come to you for my dope." Alvarez growled out.

"Finally something we agree on." I smirked.

"I'm only going to tell you once. Either undo the god damn deal. Or hell will be unleashed onto you, Brian." Alvarez narrowed his eyes. I looked at Zacky and Matt.

"Escort them out." I told them.

I sighed watching them leave as I dropped my head down. Even after the deal, it looked like I was going to have to reach out to Teller on this.

I sat down outside of the coffee shop where I was supposed to meet Gates and I hoped that his agreeing to meet with me wasn't just a move to try to do something stupid. I had one of my guys get in contact with one of his guys after the event that had unfolded last night and apparently the Mayans had confronted his club as well.

I looked up as I heard the roaring engine of his Harley and watched as he parked along the street before coming over to join me. He sat down across from me and we eyed each other for a moment before he finally spoke up.

"Alvarez showed up at our place of business this morning. Apparently he's not happy with the changes that have taken place," he stated.

"I know. We got that information out of one of his prospects that was sitting on our club last night before we put a bullet in his skull," I told him as I took a deep breath. "The way I see it, despite the fact that you and I aren't the best of friends, I don't want to reverse this deal and if our clubs don't stand together it's going to get a lot messier than it will if we unite against the Mayans."

"How do I know I can trust you?" He questioned.

"Because we have to trust each other to make this work. Our families and are clubs are not safe until we deal with the Mayans. The amount of danger surrounding us doubles if we can't figure out how to work together."

    Willa

I tried to keep myself busy around the brothel while Brian was meeting with Teller. I tried not to stress myself out anymore than I already was. After I had finished a load of laundry I went down to the main area of the attached clubhouse and found Johnny sitting on one of the sofas with Gracie as he bounced her on his knee and she laughed. It was hard to believe that she was going to be a big sister in about 7 months.

I looked at Jax knowing he was right. I sighed knowing I was going to have to push my pride aside and buck up. My wife and daughter needed protection and my unborn child. I looked at Jax nodding, "I'm in." I said to him as he nodded.

"We need to do some kind of meeting for both of our clubs get together. Form a plan of some sort." Jax said.

I nodded in agreement. "I agree. Because I need protection for my wife and daughter." I said rubbing a hand over my face as Jax nodded at what I said.

"As I do for my wife and son." Jax said.

"Tonight your MC?" I looked at him as he nodded.

"Yeah. Church will be at 7." Jax said getting up.

I got up as I walked to my bike and got on it heading to the Brothel.
    Lacey

I sighed a little finishing the last load of laundry inside the clubhouse. I took and saw my dad carrying Abel and walking towards me as I smiled at them. "Hey dad." I said as he kissed my cheek.

"Hi baby girl. Shouldn't you be resting." He smiled rubbing my stomach.

I knew the whole grandfather thing was making him happier than anything. I grinned at him shrugging, "I am ok." I assured him holding the basket as I felt Gemma take it and grin.

"He's right. Just because a bullet got in my shoulder. Doesn't mean that I can't clean. Besides you need to be resting." Gemma said cupping my stomach before going off.

I rolled my eyes walking with my dad as Abel talked to him about his new dinosaur Gemma's boyfriend had gotten him. "Grandpa it's cool. It roars and has sharp teeth." Abel cooed to my dad.

"Well grandpa is going to have to come over and see this new dinosaur." My dad grinned taking Abel to eat.

I heard a bike as I walked outside the clubhouse seeing Jax pull in. I only wondered how his meeting with Gates went. I wasn't thrilled about this, but I had no say so. I sighed walking over to Jax, "How did it go?" I asked him.

I heard Brian's voice when he came back into the clubhouse through the brothel and I finished up what I was doing in the kitchen before checking in on Gracie who was asleep in our room. I headed out to the bar and saw Brian slam back a couple of shots of tequila in succession. I moved behind him and started rubbing his shoulders and he sighed as he relaxed slightly. He looked around at the rest of the guys and nodded for them to step out as he reached up and placed one of his hands over mine. Once everyone else had left he spun around on the barstool to face me and pulled me closer to him as he wrapped his arms around my waist. He lifted my shirt and pressed his lips to my stomach before hugging me tightly.

"I'm lost Babe, I need your help," he almost whispered.

"I'm listening," I assured him as I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed him on the forehead.

"We're sitting at the table with SAMCRO tonight. I have a feeling that shit is about to get crazy and if we don't form an alliance with them we're all fucked," he explained and I nodded. "I need to protect you and Gracie, and he needs to protect his wife and son. If he and I are going to play nice I need you to play nice too."

"I can do that," I agreed.

"Teller and I both run our clubs a little bit differently. We have different ways of trying to protect what's ours. I prefer to get you out and put you somewhere that no one can find you, he prefers to build up protection and keep his wife close by. If I set up somewhere for you to take Gracie and have Teller's wife and son tag along, would you be opposed to having a few of the Sons around you for protection? I'll make one of the warehouses a safehouse, but I think it's better for you and Lacey to be somewhere else with the kids."

"I want one of your guys with us too, not just a few of the Sons for protection. Just because you and Teller are forming alliances doesn't mean that the rest of the guys from each club are going to be okay with it. I don't want a prospect either. It doesn't have to be one of your main guys, but I want a club member who knows the tricks of the trade in case anyone tries to pull anything."

"I agree," he sighed again. "I'll take the idea to the table with SAMCRO tonight, if it passes I'll help you pack for you and Gracie and find somewhere for you to lay low."

    Jax

"Things went about as well as could be expected I guess," I assured Lacey as I led her over to sit down with me on one of the picnic tables outside of the shop.

"Jax," Lacey groaned and shook her head. "Can you please talk to me about what's going on? I hate feeling like I'm being left in the dark."

"I know," I sighed. "The agreement that Gates and I came to about the drugs and the guns pissed a lot of people off. I'm pretty sure the Mayans are going to come after us. We're stronger if we stand together than we are if we stand alone."

"So what does that mean for the club?" She questioned.

"It means we try to build trust with the GBMC, nobody really likes it, but if we don't trust each other and fight the blowback together we could end up with a lot of dead bodies on our hands," I explained and she shook her head in frustration and stood and started pacing as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"God damn you, Jax! You promised when we decided to try to get pregnant that you were going to keep the club out of any shit for a while!" She raised her voice.

"I know that! I'm sorry Lace, but I didn't really have a fucking choice!" I argued back and rubbed my hands over my face. "Look, all I can do now is keep you, Abel, and the rest of the families of the club safe. GBMC is sitting at the table with us tonight and we're going to figure out how to make that happen."

"Yeah, right. I'll believe it when I see it," she growled before turning and walking back into the clubhouse.

I walked into the clubhouse and sighed taking Abel into my arms rubbing his back. I saw my dad eyeing me funny as I shot him a narrowed gaze. I took Abel with me back to Jax's room as I sighed. I held tightly to my son and laid on the bed with him. I really couldn't believe that Jax was doing this.

I didn't care one bit about anything. But the fact the mother fucker that had kidnapped me, let his mean beat on me while I am pregnant. Pissed me off. Jax was keeping in the dark about everything. I had a right to know, I was the President of Samcro's old lady. I sighed seeing Abel asleep. I felt the tears slip down my cheeks as I kept him close to me and kissed his head.
    Brian

Willow nodded her head to me and I smiled at her. I took and kissed her lips lightly. I knew she was freaked about this shit, so was I to be honest. I sighed and looked at her, "I swear to keep you two safe." I told her.

"I know you will baby." Willow said kissing her lips. "I am going to check on Gracie." She said walking away.

I watched her walk away and sigh. This meeting tonight I hope went good. I lent back into the bar wanting to bash my head into something over this shit.

Bobby, Chibs and I all exchanged looks as we heard a group of bikes roll onto the lot. I turned my chair around and peeked through the blinds to make sure it was who we were expecting. I saw Gates and four of his guys shut off their bikes and pull off their helmets before heading towards the door. I looked over at Tig and nodded out to the main area of the clubhouse.

"Go let them in," I told him before taking a drag from my cigarette.

I waited for Tig to come back in with Gates' crew and everyone sat down. I glanced around the room at the 10 of us that were going to have to come to an agreement of how to handle shit and figure out how to trust the ones that we had all pointed our guns at in the past.

    Willa

I poured Jason and Matt Berry each a cup of coffee as they sat at the bar. They were going to be my assigned "bodyguards" apparently until Brian and Jax figured shit out and things started to calm down. Even though Jason and Matt didn't hold any official titles in the club other than being a Brother, I knew that Brian trusted them nearly as much and I felt as safe as a could with these two having my back.

I sat at the table looking at the group of men along with my own. I let out a sigh, "So what are going to do?" I asked Jax as he took a drag off his cigarette.

"I think it's best that we do take and work together. It keeps our MC's safe and our families." Jax replied.

I took and nodded my head, "I agree. I was thinking." I told him and paused a second. "We could take one of my warehouse's and make into a safe house. Put our wives and children there. To keep them safe from any harm." I offered.
    Lacey

I got up slowly kissing the side of Abel's head seeing him sleeping. I saw Gemma come in and give me a tight squeeze. "Honey can we talk?" She asked and I shrugged nodding.

She led me out to the main area of the clubhouse. I could see the blinds shut and the doors shut sighing. I sat down on the stool next to her. "You know Jax doesn't want to work with Haner and them. But he's doing it to keep you and Abel safe. And the unborn one. Your dad wouldn't want to do this either. But he's doing it to keep his only child safe." Gemma said.

I sighed and nodded my head, "I know Gem." I said lightly as she squeezed my hand. I took and sighed a little as I hugged her and watched her walk off towards Lyla. I sat there and sighed picking at my wedding set.
