"I know I might look like it, but I'm not stupid," Jimmy hissed. "You're pregnant. And you kept it from me this whole time? Why didn't you fucking say something to me?"

Kim looked away from Jimmy and up at the ceiling since that was really the only thing possible to look at for the time being. "I didn't tell you for this exact reason. And because of your reaction tonight when I asked you how you felt about kids. I had asked you two years ago and got that same reaction so I tried again now, thinking it would be different but it still wasn't. You don't want kids, Jimmy. We all know it."

"Because it does, but that doesn't mean I don't want kids at all," Jimmy said. "And I was shocked that you had brought it up so suddenly."

Kim frowned and sat up, wincing a bit at just the thought of losing the baby, not even the fact that she was in pain. She looked over at Matt and frowned, feeling bad that he had to see all of this especially when it was really his kid she was carrying. "What did you espect me to do? It almost never came up in other conversations and I needed to tell you."

"You should have flat out told me that you were pregnant. You were beating around the bush for months. How far along are you even? God, Kim, you're smarter than this," Jimmy sighed.

Kim felt tears spring to her eyes again and she pressed the palms of her hands to her eyes to stop the tears from falling. "Fuck," she whispered. "I'm four months along, Jimmy," she told him as she pulled her hands away, her eyes red from all the crying she had already been doing. "I was scared, okay? You don't understand what it's like."

"I'm sorry, Jimmy. Okay? I'm sorry. That's all I can say but can't you be a little fucking sympathetic right now. I could've possibly have lost our baby and you're sitting here arguing with me over me not telling you," Kim practically begged him. She was tired of fighting with him. It felt like that was all they did anymore and it was tearing her apart. She looked up as the doctor walked in and sighed quietly in relief.

Jimmy was not happy at all right now. The fact that she could have almost lost the baby didn't affect him like it did her, but that was because he didn't fucking know about the baby. It wasn't his fault that he didn't know. He sighed and stood in the corner, crossing his arms over his chest.

Kim frowned at the fact that Jimmy seemed like he didn't care one bit. Someone would think that he would care since he was the "father" of the baby but he just didn't one bit and that hurt her. That probably hurt her more than him saying 'fuck you' to her which hurt a lot. And this scared her because it meant that if she ever really got pregnant by him he wouldn't care at all. She watched as the doctor started up the machine and then put the gel onto her stomach, moving the wand around to find the baby.

Jimmy watched the monitor, biting his lip when he saw a little fetus up on the screen. He wasn't sure how to feel at the moment.

Kim looked over and saw the baby, sighing quietly in relief when she heard the heartbeat. "Your baby is fine. You were just having some spotting which is completely normal although sometimes it can be caused by stress. Has she been stressed lately?" The doctor asked as he looked over at Matt since he was the one sitting next to Kim, assuming he was the husband.

Matt raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "Oh no, I'm just her brother," he said.

Jimmy sighed as he walked over and stood next to the bed. "I'm her husband," he said. "And yes, there has been a lot of stress lately."
