Coraline Caine & Fred Weasley

It had been the beginning of the new term and all was going well. That was, until Dolores Umbridge showed her ugly head. Many students were outraged by her poor attitude and her abuse of power. But Draco Malfoy was not one of those students. He was rather excited for the new rein over the school and proud of the power he had gained. He never got in trouble, no matter how many rules he broke. He was a leader, allowed to be as vicious as he could please. Oh, excitement flew through his veins at his freshly gained power. Yet, he still wasn't happy. A part of him thought that it was just that nothing could ever please him, that too much was never enough for someone like him, but he knew deep down, that wasn't the case. No, something was missing and Draco Malfoy was determined to find it.

Coraline Caine was not happy about her final year. Hogwarts had always been a second home to her and now it was being ruined by that toad of a women. She angrily climbed up to the Gryffindor tower, nearly growling the password to the Fat Lady before making her way inside of the common room. She grudgingly sits down on the couch, watching the flames of the fire eat away at the wood beneath it. She was angry at the way her housemates have been treated lately, serving months upon months of detention. Coralines anger slowly ebbed away, leaving her with a feel for revenge. Oh, she was gonna get Dolores Umbridge. She was going to chase her away before she was able cause anymore damage. And she knew exactly how to start.

Kali's feet padded softly against the stone floor, she'd missed being at Hogwarts. Though now she wish she hadn't come back. With Umbridge's arrival it made things that much worse. Sighing she tucked her head and moved through the library. The stares didn't go unnoticed, to the doe eyed blond. She just preferred to ignore it, most of the people staring expected her to turn green. Nibbling her lip she sat down at a vacant table. Pulling out her potions homework she set to work, sidetracking her wayward thoughts of when she had no control over her Metamorphmagus abilities.

Fred could help the laugh that escaped his mouth as he stared at a younger class man uncontrollably vomiting. It was a new candy him and George had came up with over the summer. He was just thrilled they'd worked out all the kinks and had an antidote. Shaking his head he moved though the corridors, heading straight for the Gryffindor common room. His thought preoccupied with new experiments, maybe something he could slip into Umbridge's tea.

Draco saw Kali enter the room and eyed her warily. He had heard a bit about her metamorphmagus abilities and the trouble she used to face with them. He noticed that she seemed upset - probably from the stares that she was receiving - and nervous. He figured that she'd be used to it by now, but apparently not. He quickly turned away from the girl, shaking his head clear of thoughts about her. He had to remember the task at hand. Find the book for Umbridge.

Coraline glanced up at the portrait door swinging open, but turned her head back towards the fireplace. She watched the flames dance around letting ideas come to mind. She thought carefully, but realized that most of her ideas weren't going to come along with some help. It was then that she knew that she was gonna need some extended help. Two people in particular.

Kali was pulled from her revene when she heard the chair across from her slide back. Her eyes lifting to that of a Hufflepuff, his smile bright as he sat down in front of her. Greeting her his voice purred. Her big blue eyes assesed him, bitting back a snide comment. Being in Gryffindor made her braver and bolder than most. Quailites most people assumed she lacked. But it seemed she have to bite back her nerves and tell off another sorry sap. He ignored the fact she hadn't greeted him back, before continuing. "This weekend is the trip to Hogsmeade, and I was wondering if you'd like to acompaine me?" His seemed proud. Her eyes brow shot up. Rolling her eyes she watched as his went wide, her blues had turned red. "No." She said meninse behind her word, her eyes blazed as they stared him down. She watched as he quickly turned into a nervous mess, shooting out of the seat he quickly retreated to his friends.

Fred moved through the common room before dropping himself down into an armchair, his bag slidding from his shoulder. Quickly he summoned a notebook from it, opening it. He set to work on trying to figure out the right way to go about creating this new idea, he wasn't sure he wanted it to be candy or not, but he knew he wanted to use it against Umbridge.

Draco heard the last bit of the conversation, a small smirk finding it's way to his pale lips. He shakes his head in amusement, finally finding the book that Umbridge needed. He pulled it out from its space, wrapping his arm around it securely. Draco threw one last glance at the girl before leaving the library and heading towards the Umbridges office.

Coraline looked around the common room, searching for one or both of the twins. Finally she spotted one, sitting a couple of feet away from her. She smiled, having not seen them properly for atleast a month. She noticed that he was writing away in his notebook. She bite her lip softly, wondering if she should or shouldn't walk over to him. Finally, she just walked over to him, sitting down on the couch next to him. "Hey Fred. You busy?" She asked, glancing up at him with a small grin. She hoped that she wasn't interrupting whatever he was working on.

Kali packed away her things, she wasn't in the mood to bother with homework. Not to mention dealing with all the stares. Sighing she exited the library, a yawn escaping her. Man she couldn't believe she was tired, and it wasn't even dinner time yet. Shaking off the thought she jist started to roam the hallways, maybe it'll wake her up a bit.

Fred looke dup, his eyes widening. A soft smile forming on his lips as he took in Coraline sitting beside him. "Coraline." He stuttered, he'd always found it hard to talk to her, having had a crush on her for the longest time. "No, no I'm not busy at all." He said collecting himself, quickly.

Draco quickly left the book on her desk, only answering questions when he needed to. He quickly left her office, not wanting to stay longer than he needed to. He walked down the corridor, heading back towards the Dungeons, when he ran into a body smaller than his. They both fell to the floor, both letting out a slight hiss in pain. "Sorry." Draco mutter, helping up whoever he ran into.

Coraline smiled, but rose an eyebrow up at him. "Are you sure?" She questions, " 'cause I can ask George if I need too..."
She bit her lip, feeling like she interrupted. Nervousness clouded her thoughts. She didn't want a seem like an idiot infront of the boy she recently discovered she had feelings for. As she would much rather talk to him first, then George, but she felt like she was interrupting him.

Kali blinked up from the ground, before feeling hands on her arms, heaving her from the ground. Shifting she looked up into the blue eyes of Draco. She couldn't believe he'd been nice to her, he used to pick on her more than anyone. Always teasing her or trying to get her to morph a part of her body. Shaking her head, she watched from the corner of her eyes as her hair turned from pink back to blonde.

Fred tucked his notebook back into his bag. "Yeah," he smiled at her, "I was just writing down some new items for Weasley Wheeze." He informed her, she knew that that's what him and George really wanted to do, was open their own joke shop.

Draco offered her an uncomfortable smile. "I'm sorry." He said sincerely, picking up her books for her and handing them back, still a little shaken. He quickly dusted off his robes and ran a hand threw his blonde hair. He noticed the change in her hair, but decided not to say anything. His eyes scan over the rest of her body quickly and he realizes how weird he must of been, just staring at her. His cheeks redden slightly, quite glad that they were the only people in that corridor, and he mumbled another apology. He collected himself, before walking past her. He felt a bit like a prat, remembering every insult he sent her way. In all honesty, he had always had felt something for her but tired to cover it up with hatred. Now, he realized his mistake in that and sighed deeply. 'Whatever,' he thought, 'She probably already hates you anyways.'

Coraline grinned. "I'm so happy for you guys!" She says excitedly. "You guys will be amazing!" She always thought that they were brilliant wizards, and that their talent was being used for the right thing. She was glad that he and George seemed to be getting everything that they wanted to done.

Kali gave his a curt nod, taking her books back from him. Nibbling on her lip her eyes widened as she noticed his cheeks tint. A small gasp left her lips as he brushed past, did she really just embarrass the Draco Malfoy. Her lashes fluttered as she turned watching as he quickly disappeared from veiw. That was something she never thought she'd be able to do in a million years. Moving along the corridor she sighed, it was problably the fact her hair changed. Of course it was, thouh she had noticed this year he was being less like himself. He was more often alone than not, and unless he was with a group he rarely spoke. He had been acting very odd and she wasn't the only one that noticed.

Fred beamed at her, hearing those words from her warmed his heart. And he could tell she really meant it. "Thank you." He gushed almost breathless, her smile dazing him slightly. "You, uh, um." He wasn't sure how to address that she had wanted something, with out sounding rude. "So what's important to you?" He knew she could take it any way she seen fit, and really he wouldn't mind. Just hearing her speak to him felt amazing, and this time George wasn't a buffer.

Draco quickly went into his room and threw himself down on his bed. He quickly removed the shoes from his feet and robe from his body, before curling into his blankets. He found himself rather tired as of late and he wasn't sure why. He didn't seem to have to do much, but he found himself nearly falling asleep in every class. He closed his eyes and breathed in a sigh, letting himself relax against his bed. He had been making a fool out of himself lately and he knew that it was throwing people off.

"Oh, that." Her smile drops to a frown, before she heaves a soft sigh. "I've just noticed that everything around here seems to be falling apart due to, well, Umbridge." She starts, rubbing the back of her neck, almost nervously. "and I've been thinking that she needs to be taught a lesson. That nobody messes with Hogwarts without facing the consequence. Now, I've slightly figured out how to make her life a living hell, but I don't know if I can do it without the assistance of my two right hand mans."
She forces a weak smile before adding, "I can handle it on my own for sure, but I figure, why not have my best buds by my side while we ruin her life?" "I don't mind if you decline, not to the slightest. It was just a thought." She adds quickly.

Kali sighed as she slowly trailed into the Great Hall, dinner wasn't for a while yet, but that didn't stop her from sitting down at Gryffindor's Table. Sighing she laid her head down, relaxing into the table. Her body feeling like she'd had a weight lifted from her shoulders. She knew that her appearance was changing, something she rarely let happen any more.

Fred chuckled smiling at her, before rubbing the back of his neck. "So what is your plan then?" He asked his eye brow shooting up. He really wanted to know, she always managed to have some extremely amazing ideas.

Draco forced himself to stay awake, knowing that he would have to go down and eventually eat. Yet, he stayed buried under the mountain of blankets on his bed, letting out a loud yawn. He had to stay awake, but it seemed his bed was getting just a little too inviting for him to leave.

Coraline smiled at his answer and question. "My general plan is to ruin her life. The overall plan will consist of smaller breaks that will slowly break her down. The last prank is going to be the most extravagant, being that she is literally chased out of school. The first just requires her robes and hair changing colors. Small stuff."

Kali drifted in and out of consciousness, before she felt a tap on her shoulder. Her head slowly lifted from the table, looking up into the brown eyes of Hermione. "You okay?" The bushy haired girl asked, nodding Kali didn't understand her question. Though she felt blood rush to cheeks as she looked down at her body. Wondering what could possible make her ask that question. "You wanting to make sure you seem a little more distance than usually." Hermione explained, before sitting down by the blonde. "Just tired, is all."

Fred smiled at her, "well I have a couple of ideas as far as the small things." He smirked before pulling his notebook back out. Flipping through the pages he stopped on a few ideas he'd been writing down before she'd asked to talk. "The only problem is we don't have some of the ingredients we need."

"Malfoy?" Crabbe and Goyle said at the same time, staring at Draco. He cracked open one of his eyes and groaned. "Yes?" He asked impatiently, glancing at them annoyed like. They both awkwardly gulped and rubbed the back of their necks. "Dinners just about to start..." They trail off. Draco rolls his eyes, pushing the warm covers off of his body and slips on his shoes. He pulls his robes over his clothes and brushes a hand through his hair. "Let's go." He grumbles, crossing his arms over his chest and leaving the room.

"What are the ingredients?" Coraline asked, tilting her head to the side. She figured if she could get them, then they could start their journey to dear prying Umbridge. She relaxed back into the chair, stilling lookin at him curiously.

Kali lifted her eyes from the table, noticing that there were people slowly starting to fill the Great Hall. Her eyes landed on a small group of Slytherin enter, and take a seat at the far end table. Frowning she usually faced away from Slytherin table. Most of them had always picked on her.

Fred flipped through the pages, showing her all the ideas, the names, ingredient, and what their suppose to do. "Well that's if they actually work." He said, "we've got the basic things to make the candy." He informed her. "But theses things are what I'm hoping will cause the effects." He told her, "right now there just ideas."

Draco avoided meeting anyone's eyes, just focused on getting to the center of the Slytherin table. Crabbe and Goyle flanked his sides, as if to be menacing body guards. Draco rolled his eyes at them, sitting down in his regular spot. He propped his right arm onto the table, letting his head rest in it. He didn't really wanna be there, but he knew if he didn't, that it was catch some attention, atleast from his house.

Coraline looked at the ingredients. "It depends on which one you'd like to try first. I don't really mind. You're the expert here."
She nervously played with the sleeve of her robe, glancing up at him ever so often.

Kali bit her lip as she tried to block out Hermione's constant chatter. She got that she was a loner and was in need of friends, but Hermione didn't know how to go about it the right way. Propping her elbows on the table, resting her chin in her hands. Slowly her eyes started to do weird things, changing color, wandering around, and even changing sizes. It was all she could do to ignore the girl beside her.

Fred smiled over at her, "well I want to try them all." He informed her. "But I don't know which one would be best to use on the toad." He told her, shrugging. "Maybe we should ask for George's input." He offered.

Draco inwardly sighed when Pansy Parkinson pushed her way through Crabbe and Goyle, sitting so close to him that she was practically on top of him. "Is there something you wanted?" Draco asked, looking down at the girl with an annoyed expression. On a normal day, he wouldn't mind the attention he got from her, but today, he just didn't wanna deal with her. He noticed that her smile instantly dropped at what he said.

Coraline shrugged, nodding her head once. "We could," She starts, "Do you happen to know where he is?"
She already had a feeling that Fred knew where George was. He always seemed to know. She figured it was just a twin thing, but who knows?
She ran a hand through her thick hair, moving it away from her face.
