Dean sat back in his seat as he drove, his fingers tapping against the wheel in time to the Hendrix song that was playing over the radio softly. "So what're we thinking here, werewolves?" He asked, making a face at the mere thought of them. "Because if that's what they are, we're gonna be in for a hell of a time. It's a full moon in what, a couple of days? A week or something?" He shook his head, his gaze shooting to his brother for a moment before back to the road. He read the sign that said that there was a town a couple miles away, and he internally sighed. All he wanted to do was find a motel, grab some beer and some food, and start to research the job. He wanted to get in and get out as fast as possible. Werewolves were not his thing.
Alex sat back on the motel bed, her focus solely on the laptop in front of her. She wasn't sure just how much time had passed since she'd started reading, at least two or three hours. Maybe four, since her eyes were seriously starting to hurt. She sighed, shoving her laptop to the side as she let herself fall back on the bed with a groan. "I'm thinking it's werewolves," she announced, letting her tone show just how annoyed she was at the thought. "It could have the decency to be a ghost or something easy. But no. Freaking werewolves," she moaned, scowling to herself.

"Four days," Sam said, looking up from his dad's journal and turning his attention to his older brother. He looked back to his reading material, his eyes skimming over his dad's messy writing. "Dad's not very specific with werewolves in here, unfortunately. But yeah, Dean, I think it's werewolves." From what he was reading, werewolves weren't easy to deal with. They kicked a mean punch, and it was hard to do what you had to do because you know during the majority of the year, they're just people. People who got kinda fucked over, but they're just people. "I think this is one of the town dad's got a number written down for..." Sam flipped to the back of the journal, where his dad had written down some towns and some phone numbers. "It's not, but it's for a place an hour away from here. Should we call it?"
"Yeah, it's werewolves," Kara agreed, flipping the page in the book she had. Kara had a run in with a werewolf before, when she was a lot younger. Her and her dad were in a hotel, traveling to a fair that he wanted to take her to, and one ended up where they were. Neither of them got hurt, but that's what got her dad into hunting, and in turn, her. She didn't really remember much of it, other than the fact that the thing was loud as hell and completely ruined their hotel room by the time they'd gotten back into it after it'd cleared out. "There's so many ways to kill them, or at least, there's so many ways people say can kill them. This is gonna blow."

"Four days. Awesome," Dean said, sarcasm lacing his words. "Of course he's not specific. Why write down what could be helpful," he muttered under his breath. Normally he was thankful for his dad's journal, but werewolves were a downright pain in the ass and the last thing he wanted to do was deal with one. Or more. Especially since he still wasn't one hundred percent sure as to how to kill them. "Might as well call it, see what they can do. I'm going to pull over at the next stop. I need a bed and some beer," he said, his foot on the gas as he accelerated, wanting to get there as fast as possible. "You want to grab some food before we get there? Or just grab from the vending machine?"
"Perfect. Just perfect. Exactly what I wanted to deal with after that last job," Alex said, making a face at Kara. She glanced down at her leg, wincing at the small ache that was still there after she'd been sliced a little by the wendigo a couple of days ago. "So what you're saying is that we don't know how to kill them, and are going in totally blind? Man, this is bullshit. We're going to die," she said, rolling over onto her stomach so she could look over to Kara. "What is it, like three days til the full moon? How are we going to figure out how to kill this thing and figure out just who it is? This is impossible."

"If we see a Burger King or something, I wouldn't say no to a burger," Sam replied, pulling out his phone. He dialed the number that was on the page, clicking call and putting it up to his ear. He made a little script in his head, just like he'd did with every single phone call he'd ever made. He quickly ran through a few senarios in his head, basically trying to stay as vague as he could unless the person on the other end was a hunter or someone that they'd known from a long time ago.
"Four days," Kara said, shaking her head. "We just gotta do some research. Look around town, find some books or something. I'm sure you could find something online how to identify a werewolf in human form. It can't be that hard. Someone has to have figured it out somewh-" Kara was cut off by one of their cellphones going off at full volume. It was one that only a few people had the number for. Kara raised an eyebrow, looking at the phone. "Says unknown. Dibs on you answering it." Kara picked up the phone and tossed it towards Alex, not liking the phone at all.

"A burger? You sure you don't want some salad or something else equally disgusting?" Dean asked, keeping his eyes peeled for a Burger King or, well, anything that would be edible. He spotted a McDonalds up the road as they approached the town, slowing down to make the turn. He pulled into a parking spot, shutting of the engine easily. "I'm heading in, you want anything else?" He asked, figuring that Sam would just stay in there to talk to whoever it was. "Hey, if it's a girl, I'll talk to her," he added, shooting him a wide grin.
Alex made a face. "The problem isn't finding something. It's that I'm finding too much. One site says silver bullet, another says cutting their heads off. One says that they'll be impossible to notice until they're right there ready to kill, and another says that it's easy as pie. What am I - Really, Kara?" She whined, interrupting herself as the phone hurled towards her. "Fine, but if it's some idiot hunter, I'm tossing it to you." She pressed the 'answer' button, holding it up to her as she held in a sigh. "Hello?" She asked, forcing her voice to sound bright, even though all she really wanted to do was snap at the person.

"A burger and fries and a coke," Sam said quickly before the person on the other end picked up. He swallowed when a woman answered with a cheerful hello on the other end, and Sam looked away from his bother so he could concentrate on the task at hand. "Hi, I was just looking through my dad's old contact list and your number was there. I haven't seen him in a few days and I'm just trying to call around to see if you know where he is. His name's John Winchester." It was a pretty standard starting point. If they were hunters, it was usually really easy to tell once Sam brought up his dad. People who actually knew who his dad was normally were hunters. A couple people in the book had no clue who he was, so the numbers had changed over the years. Hopefully this is a number that hadn't change."
"Yeah yeah yeah," Kara said, rolling her eyes at her friend. She turned her attention back to her book, though she kept an ear open to listen to the conversation that Alex was having. Kara was right, there was far too much information about werewolves. You couldn't tell what was reliable and what was a bunch of crap. The bad thing about werewolves was that they were popular in books and movies. It made it hard to actually figure out what was truth and what was some Twilight, Harry Potter bullshit.

Dean nodded, his eyes widening when he heard the faint, muffled voice on the other end of the line. "It's a girl. Hand it over," he said, smacking his brother lightly on the arm and holding out his phone. He figured that it was futile, but it was worth a shot. He sat there for a couple more seconds before frowning, figuring that it would just be easier to go in and grab the food. So he slipped out of the Impala and headed inside, rattling off the order the second he got to the counter.
Alex moved to sit up from her spot on the bed, her eyes widening when she heard the familiar name. She couldn't quite place it, but knew that Kara probably would. "John Winchester's your dad? Hold on a second," she said, her voice falling back into its familiar low tone. "Kara, you know a John Winchester? It's his son? Is that the-" Her voice dropped as she made sure to keep it quiet enough in case whoever it was on the phone wasn't a hunter. "The brothers?" She asked, cocking a brow at her.

Sam ignored his bother, knowing if he didn't respond for long enough Dean would get bored and leave him alone. As he suspected, Dean was out of the car in a few seconds and Sam was left to speak in peace. "Yeah, John's my dad." He figured by the pause on the other end that they were trying to work out if he was either telling the truth or if he was a hunter. "He's got your number in his journal here, do you know him?" He unbuckled his belt and got out of the impala, standing beside it with the door open so he could stretch his legs. Sometimes it got a bit cramped in there for him. Sam was a tall guy, his legs didn't always fit the most comfortably.
Kara looked up from her book when Alex spoke, and nodded. "Yeah, he's the salt and pepper guy. His wife died like a million years ago in the nursery thing. Uh... Scott and Dan or... Sam and Dan? I don't know. He's got two boys. Put it on speaker." She spoke quietly and moved to sit beside Alex on her bed, crossing her legs and leaning back onto her hands. "Last I heard they're back into it." She wasn't exactly a hunter gossip mill, but she kept up with some other hunters who passed along information. It was kinda handy, knowing who else was out there doing what they were.

Dean paid the guy, glancing over to the window every so often to check on Sam. He knew that if his brother knew what he was doing, that he'd be annoyed, but Dean couldn't help himself. Sammy was his little brother (who wasn't all that little anymore) and he was protective as hell of the guy. He grabbed the bags and the drinks, using his hip to push open the door as he headed to the Impala. He set everything on the hood of it as he moved to stand beside his brother. "Put it on speaker. I want to hear the chick," he muttered. "Besides, I have the food and I'm starving."
"Oh, him. That makes sense," Alex said, nodding her head. "It might be Don? I think Sam's right. Not Dan, though," she said absentmindedly as she pressed the speaker button. "Kara's dad probably knew him. It's the only reason the number would be in there," she said, setting the phone on her knee as she stretched out her arms behind her head. "What do you guys need?" She asked, figuring that they would need something. Or want something in the very least. Hunters never went out of their way to get a hold of other hunters, especially when they didn't even really know who they were calling.

Sam pressed the speaker button and put it onto the roof of the car, and grabbed one of the bags before replying to the girl. They sounded like they knew about everything. If not, they knew their dad's name and that was it. His number was blocked and on a disposable phone. "We caught wind of some stuff going down in the area and were wondering if you knew anything about it," Sam said truthfully, dropping the 'looking for dad' bit. "Is this dad of Kara's around that we could talk to?" If his dad knew their dad, it might just be better to do it that way. Not that Sam didn't trust girls to know what they were doing, but the older you were, the more experienced you got.
"Dad's dead," Kara replied. "Sorry, boy-o, but you're stuck with us." Kara's dad died in a car crash a few years back. It had nothing to do with hunting, which shocked Kara. She always figured he'd go out trying to kill some crazy ass monster. Instead it was a drunk behind the wheel of an SUV that did him in. "It's a werewolf. That's all we got." She looked at Alex and mouthed. "Are you in Forester now?" If they could get help on this, Kara wasn't going to say no. She knew Alex wasn't the biggest fan of working with others, but when push came to shove, it would be a lot easier to figure out what was what with a werewolf if they had four heads instead of one.

Dean opened up his bag, fishing out the burger from it and tearing into it. He could practically feel his stomach growl as he unwrapped it, taking a bite out of it as soon as he possibly could. His eyes widened when he heard two different voices. Two different female voices. "Just got here," he chimed in, forcing himself to swallow as fast as possible so he could talk. "That's all we have to. Well that and it's a full moon in four days," he added, looking over to Sam for a second before taking another bite out of his burger. He looked over to Sam, quirking a brow at his brother. "They could help," he suggested softly, not wanting the girls to hear anything.
Alex sat back on the bed, pursing her lips as she listened to them talk. She knew where this was headed. It wasn't that she would appreciate their help it was just... She knew how to work with Kara. They'd been doing it ever since her dad had died. Alex had been raised to be a hunter since it was what her family did, but she'd hit the road the second the offer had arrived. And that arrival was with Kara, and only Kara. Anyone else made her feel a little uncomfortable and unsure. She sighed before nodding her head. "So are you guys in Forester now?" She asked, knowing that ultimately it would probably be better if they worked together.

Sam nodded, agreeing with Dean. "Yeah. We haven't checked into a hotel or anything yet, but we're here. If you guys are here too, do you maybe want to meet up and talk about some stuff?" Sam knew Dean wasn't going to be opposed to it, especially if the two girls at the other end of the phone turned out to be attractive. His brother was a ladies man, that was for sure. Sam never was, and since Jessica, he never really thought about girls. Dean never gave him shit for it, though, because of what happened to Jessica. He knew if Sam was just single by choice, Dean would give him shit every day.
Kara listened to what the guy had to say. She looked at Alex, before tentatively replying to whatever Winchester had asked her to meet up. "Yeah, we're here. We're at the Sunset Motel on Main Street. It's beside a coffee place and a beer store. Room twelve, its around the back. There's vacancies if you want to get a room. There's another motel down the road further but it's thirty bucks a night more. Swing by whenever." Kara didn't really want to keep the phone conversation going, so she reached forward and hung up the phone before it could go on. "Sorry, Alex. We're gonna need help, though. I've been told John Winchester is a great hunter. Hopefully his kids know what they're doing too."

Dean stuffed the burger into his mouth, taking off a rather large bite as he looked over to Sam. His mouth was too full to speak, but he reached out to hit his brother on the arm, nodding his head adamantly. A cheap motel next to a beer store was exactly what he'd been hoping for. He frowned a little as he heard the click of them hanging up, forcing himself to swallow his food. "We're staying there," he said, leaving no room for argument. "There's two of them. Oh man, this is a good job. I knew we should've taken this job," he said, grinning as he took another bite of his burger.
Alex was making a face as Kara gave out their information. Now they were going to show up and invade everything and the last thing that she needed were some two idiot hunters. Although, they were probably the farthest things from idiots. "They do," she said, sighing dramatically. "I've heard about these guys. They're insane. They grew up with this stuff like me, but their dad was like, crazy about it. So they'll just take over the whole thing and deal with it while I do nothing."

"You're disgusting," Sam said, rolling his eyes as the grabbed the rest of the food off the hood of the car and brought it with him back inside. He finally got around to getting his burger out of the bag and took a big bite, not caring if he looked like a pig in front of his brother. Once he'd chewed and swallowed, he turned his attention back to Dean. "C'mon, you horndog, let's go see what we can do." Sam frowned at the choice words. "And I mean with the case, not with the girls. Keep your head where it should be, please."
"Well less work for us to do, right?" Kara said, shrugging. "If they take care of it, it means we can take off from here sooner and get to other beasties like the good old fashioned ghost." Kara was a much bigger fan of ghosts and the like over werewolves and other human-like creatures. "Hey, cheer up, though," Kara said, nudging her friends side before standing up. "I heard they're good looking." She gave her friend a little laugh as she grabbed her wallet, heading for the door. "I'm getting some coffee from next door before they get here. D'you want one?"

"You're just jealous," Dean responded instantly, although he wasn't quite sure if that was going to make much sense. He shoved the last bite of burger into his mouth, grabbing the bag and coke off of the hood before he headed towards the door. He precariously balanced everything in the middle before he slid in, rolling his eyes as he chewed and swallowed. "I have a healthy appreciation of women, Sam. Don't degrade me," he replied, putting the key into the ignition and turning it over. "Besides, job comes first. Women, right after."
"Yeah, but that also means that we have to deal with these two," Alex said, frowning. "I don't feel like having these two commandeer everything just because we have boobs," she added, her frown turning into a scowl. "It happens every single time some male hunter tries to help us out." She let herself fall back onto the bed, her body bouncing a little on the mattress. "You know me, I never cheer up," she muttered "Sure. Black, two sugars?" She asked, giving her a quick grin as she reached over for her laptop.

"You're a pig, Dean, get over yourself," Sam said, taking another bite out of his burger. He reopened his dad's journal, resuming his reading through of it. He really only found a few ways to kill a werewolf, and a few facts. It was nothing concrete. He was going to try to read it over again, if there was something else helpful in the book, he was going to want to find it. Any helpful hints were appreciated, especially at this stage of the game.
"Alright, I'll be back," Kara replied, heading out the door. Before long she was in the coffee place, ordering a drink for herself and for her friend. Alex wasn't wrong about the male hunters. Most of them tried to take control because they were girls and they couldn't protect themselves properly against what was out there. That was complete bullshit, though. They were perfectly able to protect themselves. They knew what they were doing, and they were damn good at it.

"Jealousy is not attractive on you, Sammy," Dean replied easily, taking a sip of his drink before he pulled out of the spot. He was on the road in seconds, heading towards the motel. "Which one did they say that they were in?" He asked, wanting to make sure that they got to the right one. He kept his eyes open, but when he saw the coffee place and the beer place, he figured he had the right motel. He pulled in, parking it in front of the lobby. "You want to go in and get the room, or go introduce yourself to the girls?"
Alex let out a hum of acknowledgement as Kara left, already focused on the article that she was reading. There was a part of her that wanted to just spite the male hunters and let them do that, but deep down she knew that that was impossible. She wasn't going to let them get the glory for this one. She constantly felt the need to prove herself to these types of idiots, and this time was no different. She needed to be prepared if they were going to deal with this.

"I'll get a room, you go say hi," Sam said, against his better judgement. "Don't scare them, please." Sam held onto the bag with his fries in it, and his coke, as he got out of the car and headed into the office. He walked up to the counter and asked for a room, them started to fill out the paper form to get one. Thankfully, there was a room with two beds available, and they weren't going to have to share or fight over who had to sleep on the floor.
Kara paid the guy behind the counter and took her two cups of coffee. She walked across the parking lot and back to her room in the motel, turning the unlocked handle and walking into the room. "Here you go, sunshine," Kara said, walking to where Alex was still sitting, and held out her coffee. "Hopefully its good coffee." Kara had had her fair share of shitty coffee, so it probably wouldn't bug her if it did taste like muddy water, but she was hoping it didn't.

"Get one close to their room, alright? Tell them that we're traveling with them and got in late," Dean ordered. He rolled his eyes at the next words that left his brother's mouth. "Please, if anyone's going to scare them off, it'll be you, Gigantor. Go." He pulled the car away from the car park, rounding the motel until he found the specific room. It was a nondescript place, perfect for camping out in for the next week or so. He parked the car and got out, striding up to room 12 and knocked on the door, briefly thinking that they might have given him the wrong room number. He really hoped that they didn't. The last thing that he wanted was grief from Sam.
Alex glanced up as Kara walked in, grinning when she saw the coffee in her hand. "Thank you," she said, taking the warm drink from her. She took a sip, making a face at just how hot it was. "Not bad," she said. "I mean, it doesn't taste like shit, so it's alright." She was getting ready to take another drink when she heard a knock at the door, instantly moving into action. She set the coffee on the nightstand and reached for her gun. Sure, it was probably just the Winchesters, but she wasn't going to make a mistake, just in case that it wasn't them. "You going to get the door, or should I?"
