Asher Steel
Shit, Harvard? Of course Asher had Harvard dreams when he was back in high school - almost all of his friends did, but only one of his friends had got in, having been the smartest and most studious out of all of them. Harvard had some tough requirements, yet he was pretty certain this girl would get in. "I look forward to the day you get your acceptance letter."


Sebastian Reed
Sebastian eventually broke away from Charlotte, offering her a hug before he went off to his first class with Steel. They still had a bit of time until the bell rang, but he had this concept in his mind for a painting that he wanted to sketch out. He walked into the classroom, giving the teacher a tight lipped smile as he immediately headed towards the back of the classroom, accidentally making eye contact with the girl sitting in the certain of the room and fuck she was beautiful. Sebastian sat down in his seat and slipped his backpack from his shoulder, taking out his notebook and a pencil before beginning to sketch, tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth as he focused.

Maddison Lewis

Maddison couldn't help but grin in reply to her teacher because he didn't say 'i hope' or he didn't sound doubtful. "Thanks, Mr Steel. I'll be sure to tell you when I get the news." She replied, a cheeky grin on her lips. She turned her attention to the door when it opened, looking at the boy who entered the room. It was the same one she briefly saw in the hallway. She definitely knew that she hadn't seen him before. "You're new," she told the boy, turning around in her seat to watch him.

Asher just nodded, moving back to his desk to get some more stuff settled before class started.


Sebastian Reed
Well, Sebastian couldn't ignore her. He was the only other person in the room, so of course he had to reply to her. "Yeah," he murmured, glancing up for a moment to look at her before continuing his sketch, "I just moved to town."

Maddison Lewis

Maddison hummed in reply to the new kid, raising an eyebrow when he focused his attention back on the book on his desk. "What's your name then?" She asked, knowing immediately that he was the shy type. Hell, if he was anything like some of the other dicks in their class, he would have turned up late. But he was pretty early for his first day of school.

Sebastian Reed
"Sebastian Reed," he replied, finishing up a small section before looking at her again, offering her a small smile, "And you are?" The girl seemed nice enough, but he could already tell she was probably one of the popular kids at the school. Sebastian doubted she'd ever talk to him again unless it was in class, or hell, maybe never. He didn't know.

Maddison Lewis

"I'm Maddison Lewis," she said in reply to him, a little surprised how cute she found him when he smiled. She usually stayed away from guys her own age - they were immature and she didn't have time for that. Maybe it was because he was so shy and the complete opposite of her. "When did you move to the area?" She asked, curiously.

Sebastian Reed
"It's nice to meet you Maddison," Sebastian said softly, chewing on his lower lip as she questioned him again, "Just over the summer. My parents split and I got the short end of the stick, so, uh, here I am." He finished lamely, mentally facepalming himself for being so dumb. Seb wasn't really used to talking to many people, not even his own friends back home, who yeah, he called them friends but they never really felt close to him. If anything, he was still the wallflower of the group, sitting in the background and laughing when it was necessary.

Maddison Lewis

Maddison raised her eyebrows when Sebastian told her that his parents had split up. "I'm sorry," she murmured, offering him a small, sad smile. She truly did feel bad for him. "Are you living with your mom or dad?" She asked, picking up her books from the table and moving them to one of the back tables next to Sebastian. She never usually sat anywhere else apart from the front, but more students would be entering the room soon and they wouldn't be able to carry on their conversation.

Sebastian shrugged off her apology - it was getting easier to talk about his parent's divorce now, mainly because his mother was able to tell him all of the reasons she felt like she was better off without him. It helped, it really did. "I'm living with my mom. My sister's back home with my dad, but she's supposed to come visit us soon."

Maddison Lewis

"At least you're still in contact with her." Maddison said, but she couldn't imagine not living with her sibling. She and Noah didn't really acknowledge each other at school, but at home they were kind of all eachother had. "My dad isn't round much either," she told him, but failed to mention that neither was her mother. But was never going to dump that information on the poor new kid. She wasn't looking for sympathy - she didn't have time to feel sad about her absent parents.

Sebastian Reed
Sebastian nodded before looking down at his desk for a moment. It was hard adjusting to life without his sister, to be honest. She was always there for him when no one else was, and she even helped him through some of the panic attacks he'd have when he felt like he literally couldn't breathe. He hasn't had one since they moved, but he's had the feeling like one could start at any given moment. "Work?" Seb guessed, still averting his gaze from her.
