Bio: Echo and Allen lived in a small cottage with their mother and father. They were poor and food was scare, especially during the winter months. There were many night where the twins would go to bed hungry. Soon after their father went into the woods and never came back. Died in a hunting accident they were told. Their mother changed drastically and began abusing the twins. Allen tried to protect Echo from the worst of it but he couldn't shield her from all of it. One day their mother abandoned them in the forest. Allen managed to find their way back but their mother was waiting for them. She grabbed at Allen but Echo pushed the woman away. She tripped and fell backwards into the fireplace. The twins fled as their mothers screams filled the air and the cottage lit on fire. They ran for a while before they made their way to Silent Hills. Echo blames herself for causing all of this but Allen reassures her time and time again that she did it only to save him, that she didn't mean for their mother to fall into the flames.

Bio: As a little girl Alicen lived with her mother in a small house on the edge of the woods. Her mother was often ill with a unknown disease that required a certain kind of medicine or else her mother risked dying so Alicen chose to stay home and take care of her instead of going to school. One day her mother ran out of medicine so Alicen decided to go see who grandmother who lived in the woods. She was a pharmacist and Alicen knew she would have the right medicine to help her mother. She set off into the wood, keeping to the path her mother warned her never to stray from. However about half-way through Alicen saw a patch of flowers a little ways from the path. she thought her grandma would appreciate the gesture and she unthinkingly stepped off the path. A strange man approached her suddenly and asked her if she knew a pharmacist. She said yes and was tricked into leading the man to her grandmothers house. There she watched in horror as the man killed her grandma. He would have killed Alicen but a passing woodsman heard the screams and came just in time to save her. She was shocked and she numbly walked home only to find her mother had passed away. She wandered for a while, kind people taking her in but she didn't stay for long. Eventually Silent Hills found her and took her in. This experience left Alice scarred and she is terrified to talk to people she doesn't know and she will usually run away from them as quick as she can. The only friends she has are Hansel and Gretel.

Alicen is a completely normal human however, she has a special friend. His name is Aiden. Aiden is an Entity that has been linked to Alicen since birth. Aiden is Alicen's stillborn twin brother. She was delivered safely from her mother's womb, but her brother was strangled by the umbilical cord. Rather than passing on, his soul became linked to Alicen and remained that way, growing up as if it occupied a physical body. His soul was attached to Alicen's. They are connected by an ethereal tether. This tether acts as a spiritual link between Alicen and Aiden that keeps Aiden bound to Alicen. Though he can go farther away from Alicen in some situations, the separation causes Alicen excessive amounts of pain and lasting disorientation. Alicen is the only one capable of listening to or communicating with Aiden. She is also the only one that can see him. He doesn't have a human form, more like he is a black mass that only Alicen can see. Alicen is able to control Aiden to some extant but it causes her pain and gives her a nosebleed. Most of the things Aiden does are of his own free will. He is very protective of Alicen and is very hostile towards anything male. Aiden reacts to Alicen's emotions and often reacts without thinking.
