Delia is a recent FIDM graduate. She spent four years studying fashion before graduating in May of 2013, at which time she returned home to New York from San Diego. She accepted an entry level design assistant position with Vera Wang Co. where she helps in developing up and coming bridal lines.
While in San Diego, Delia met and dated an
Art Academy of San Diego student -
Carter DeWitt (23)- they eventually became engaged during her junior year of college. Their engagement only lasted about eighteen months- being called off just days after Delia's graduation (and coincidentally, the day of the wedding). The cause -something Delia stays very quiet about- is simple, but painful. She needed to focus on her career- a path that took her to New York. This was at the same time his career started to take off -in Los Angeles- neither were ready to abandon their career, so they toyed with the idea of a long-distance marriage, but it never really sat well with Delia. Especially with his unwillingness to compromise.
Delia does try desperately to keep the "how" the relationship ended quiet- as she never showed up the day of the ceremony. She left Carter standing at the altar. They would go on to (obviously) end the relationship (very amicably).
Carter eventually found it in him to forgive Delia, and he is still a strong presence in her life. One that will eventually threaten her potential relationship with Niall.
Delia was born with a heart condition called
Wolff-Parkinson White Syndrome. She had her first stroke at the age of 9. When (most) people find out about her illness, they tend to treat her different, so she makes a conscious decision to tell people on a "need to know" basis- she is a firm believer that most people do not need to know.
Delia is never without her

Attended her secondary school all the way until sixteen, before leaving and attending college to study beauty and hair; finishing two years later and continued her employment in a salon for another year before going at it alone. She’s doing well, but her dream is to style for the rich, follow bands around the world on tour, or be present on movie sets.
Has never been one for relationships and prefers to keep things between guys as a strictly sex only deal. Only one guy came close to her heart, but he ended up breaking it and so she broke his nose in return.
Pips doesn’t have what society would call a functional family, however, she has never doubted the good job her grandparent’s do at looking after her and her younger sister. Cassie, the six year old mini version of Pips, is the only living proof that Pip has made the right decisions in life. Everything she does is for that little girl and helping her grandparents give the girl the best life possible. There dad was a drop out after Cas’ birth, often binging so much that he would be gone for weeks at a time. One day he left drunk and never returned. Their mum had a good heart, but she was never good at the mum thing, although she tried her hardest and loved just as hard as any mum out there. Eventually her body couldn’t keep up and eventually she died of the cancer pumping throughout her body.
Because of the life she has led, Pips is fiercely independent and protective of those she cares for. She doesn’t allow the bad things in her life to stay and will often seem impulsive at times, but really it’s just her way of dealing with things sooner rather than later. It is no secret that Pips enjoys the simple pleasures in life and would call herself a sex druggie as the feeling of being in control over another person gives her that healthy and free high. However, others see this as a free pass to call her a slut.

Born in Paris, France, Alice was the second daughter to blue blood Maurice LeBeau, a French surgeon and Bryony Hemmings, a British novelist/socialite. She moved to London when she was five because of a job offer her dad took at London Memorial. Both girls took the move hard. Alice became more closed off as well as quiet, while Marguerite, her older sister, misbehaved more and started falling with the wrong crowd. As they grew older, Marguerite’s drinking habits tore the sisters apart and Alice did whatever she could to not end up like her sister. Alice became the star child, doing things to make her parents proud instead of what she truly wanted to do.
In grade school, she chose not to make any friends except for one boy, who wouldn’t leave her alone. Reluctantly, Griffin Edwards became Alice’s second half. Even though she can’t admit it, Alice couldn’t live without Griffin. He’s the brother she never had.
As a result of her childhood, Alice is soft spoken and quiet. She tends to be by herself, if she’s not with Griffin. Although she may be soft spoken, Alice does have quite the temper, but it does take a while for her to get all steamed up. Many classify her as a prude, as her clothing choices are more on the modest side as well as her personality. She’s also a virgin, and has yet to have a boyfriend before. The closest she got to a relationship was when Griffin and her kissed, but it had felt as though she kissed her sibling. She believes boys only want one thing and that she’d end up like her sister if she ever falls for their tricks. The only reason she is on the show is to make her parents happy. They have been begging her to interview for this show as they want her to marry soon and have kids.
Her relationship with her sister is still rocky. From age 18, Marguerite tried to get sober, only for it to last a couple of months. At first, Alice tried to fix their relationship but with each fallout, it only hurt her more so eventually she stopped trying to fix things. Eventually when Marguerite turned 25, she finally got sober and she’s been sober for 4 years. Marguerite has tried to fix things with her sister since then but each time she tries, she’s rebuffed. Marguerite is still trying to fix things with her sister.
She speaks French fluently as well as having a bit of an accent that comes out even more when she's angry.

Esther is a 20-year-old who is girl craving a real life of fun and freedom which she doesn't get all because of her mother.
Born in and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark Esther Thorning-Schmidt is the daughter of the prime minister of Denmark; Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Even when she was small,Esther has to deal with the same security that her mother had to go through. The security is tough to get around, and it stops her from having a real life and that's what she's most upset about.
All she craves for is a real life of fun and excitement, which she doesn't receive. And because of that, she doesn't have any friends that she wishes she had. Esther is a sweet girl who has a heart of gold (according to her mother), but she doesn't get a chance to show it because she is always stuck inside. And because of that, she hates being alone and she hates the way she is treated all because of her mother, who she does not have a good relationship with.
Esther and her mother do not get a long whatsoever. She wishes that they did, but because of the position of Prime Minister, she is always working which makes Esther feel even more alone. If it were up to Esther, she'd travel the world and see what it's like. That's always been a dream of Esther's; to get out of Denmark and travel the world. But because she's under so much security, she can't fulfill her dreams and that's all she wants to do. Her mother, Helle, says that the security is needed and if they don't have it something could go terribly wrong. Esther understands that but she still wants to be able to live her life and enjoy it.
Being an only child makes Esther feel even more alone than she already is. Her dog, Mads (male) is her only friend. She doesn't like it but having a dog is better than having nothing to talk to or not even having anyone to be around. Mads is a German Shepard. Helle gave Mads as a birthday gift to Esther when she was ten. Mads is now twelve and growing older which each day that passes. Mads is friendly and sweet to those who she feels most comfortable around which is only Esther. Otherwise, she is viscous and scary to those she doesn't know and is uncomfortable around.

Introvert is the best way to describe Caide; an introvert with a huge imagination. She is usually found with her nose in a book, whether it’s studying for a test or reading a new novel.
Caide has never been someone to put herself out there, which means boys were an alien race to her. Apart from one guy, who she met when she was seventeen; it had been an innocent 18 month relationship which ended when the boy no longer could wait or cope with Caide’s intimacy issues.
Caide has lived in a single parent household with her mum and twin siblings for over a year now. Caide doesn’t like talking about her father and the reasons why he left; only a handful people know about him being unfaithful, but only Caide and her mum knew who had been the woman. Caide’s own best friend, Bethy, had been a welcome guest in her house until Caide caught her father and Bethy in bed together- it was a 3 month affair that had finally been revealed. Because of this, Caide won’t let people get too close. She doesn’t have friends, and puts all her energy in raising her brother and sister with her mum.
Because of the consequences of her life, Caide is quiet and reserved. She very rarely trusts and has issues with letting people close to her. However, she craves to break free from her fears and finally move on from the ghosts of her past. She just never had the opportunity to do so.
