Ah perfection! I love that you're incorporating Eleanor into it as I love her (it's so hard to paint her in a bad light even when you try)

I'm really excited for the scene where everyone finds out Cassie is Pips. That'll be the reason for her leaving as she takes Harry's reaction as a bad one although he just needed time to take it in! She will think, Although he was amazing with Cas, that he isn't ready for that commitment!

Also, I wanted to fill everyone in on the absence.

I feel awful for the radio silence but honestly, I'm struggling right now, I am still at a loss and not at all sure of how or what to say...

But in short, I had two very good friends die last Friday. They were long-time family friends- they were on their way to Sandusky to be with family, as someone (her father) had just passed away. While on their way from Columbus, a driver blew through a stop sign, killing them both on impact. I literally saw them Thursday night and I'm just...struggling. Never in my life have I been so angry and sad.

The driver who hit them didn't have a drivers license (he had a learners permit and had three other fucking people in the car). He's being held on a $2,000,000 bond and being charged with a bevvy of things (vehicular homicide, among several other things).

The viewing was today and the funeral is tomorrow, so I hope to kind of...get back into the swing of things soon. It's just...the worst process I think I have ever been through.

Darling, take your time healing. Death is a terrible thing especially when it happens to someone close to you. Don't be sorry. It wasn't any of your fault. If you need anyone to talk to, you know we are definitely here for you.

Emma is right, take your time. Death is such a horrible thing to have to see or be around, especially when it should have never happened! I hope the sod gets everything he deserves and more

This week I've been so lazy so don't worry. I've been left alone to look after my little sister as parents are away so I'm finishing work at 6:30pm, tidying the house, cooking dinner and having a bath before I know it I'm in bed and starting again the next day.

Just to prewarn you all, I will be off to Egypt on the 1st November and won't be back till the 10th. I'm not sure about the wifi situation at my resort but if I get a chance I will try checking in.

Guys I'm back from Egypt!

I know things have been a bit crazy for all of us but how are things now?

I'm good. Have no school today or tomorrow. been working on NaNoWriMo and my chapter.

I've been gone for awhile now.
Something close to two months

In short, things have been hell on Earth. After the death of some family friends, I seriously asked if things could get any worse. I think the universe took that as a challenge.

My mom was diagnosed with bladder and kidney cancer in mid-November.
We opted to do a surgical intervention (they removed part of the bladder and her right kidney) versus chemical- we were early enough in the diagnosis process that we could get around chemo if we did the big surgery.

Also, you guys know I work in sports- the company in which I work for, manages OSU's sports marketing so I spend more time with the athletes than I do my own family (something I generally stay quiet about...) One of my football players went missing right before Thanksgiving. We searched for a week- unfortunately, he was found by about six days later. He committed suicide.

I am, for lack of a better word...struggling.
Every time I sat down I just couldn't do it- and just when I thought I was ready to talk about my mom, Kosta passed and I just...there are truly no words. I saw him less than six hours before he went missing. It's a heart break I pray to God I never have to feel again.

Between my mom's illness and Kosta's death, I have never been so ready for a year to end. I'm so ready for the fresh start, it is unreal.

In the midst of everything, we're heading to NOLA 12/27-1/3 and then odds are I'll be Sugar Bowl bound. Football & work is the only thing keeping me going through it all

I'm so sorry.
I literally feel like such a terrible person. (and the worst co-write in the history of the world).

I'll be back once football winds down (like...second week of January).

I just wanted to check in.

I'm definitely still in this if you guys are.
