I looked at Jesse and nodded my head, "A ton of times. Plus I have been possessed too." I told her as I held her close. I hadn't realized I had been holding her like that till I looked down. I took and smiled letting her go. "It's not an easy job, but... It's something that I love." I told her.

Carter

I took and looked at Zak and gave a small point, "Just follow them. I live in the apartment beside of Jesse." I told him lightly. I rubbed the back of my neck looking at him. "How can you do this? I mean it's so scary? The attacks and being possessed as well." I asked lightly staring at Zak. "I mean when I watch and you're hurt or attacked I get so pissed." I admitted to him.

Jesse

"I've seen you get possessed," I blushed and scooted away when he let go, "uhm, this might sound childish, but will you come into my apartment and make sure nothing's followed me home from that hell hole?" I asked softly biting my lip as I looked at him, "I'll pay you or I can cook you guys dinner.." Aaron looked back, "Did you say dinner? I'm starving! I'll do it!" he said.

Zak

"You do?" I asked looking at her I smile, "I love my job I've dedicated most of my life to this job," I said softly "I love traveling around the world to these haunted places to see if I can't catch these spirits on video I love bringing closure to most people, but tonight really scared me, I've never been this physically scared, our producers are even saying that they want to cut this episode because of how violent it was..." I admitted looking at her, "Im just glad you're safe.."

Nick

I laughed looking at Aaron, "Of course you will." I told him as I smiled at Jesse nodding, "Yeah not a problem." I smiled at her as I looked at her, "You did?" I asked her and smiled as I stared at her. She was memorizing. I smiled at her as I took and wrapped my arm around her just wanting to make her feel safe, but because I liked to keep her close to me.

Carter

I looked at him and smiled, "I'm glad you're safe." I whispered to him as I smiled. I took and looked at him as I bit my lip. "Will you come in and check my place? Make sure yah know." I frowned feeling scared as I smiled at him. "I can make you dinner or pay you." I said lightly biting my lip scared shitless.

Jesse

I moved closer to nick and smiled, I saw Jay whisper something to Aaron, "oh yeah thats right, uhm Nick will you go check out Jesse's apartment Jay and i have this..thing." I slid out of the SUV and looked at Nick, "I'll cook you something nice Nick," I said walking up the steps to the door I unlocked the door and opened it turning the lights on.

Zak

I smiled softly nodding, "Dont worry about it I'll sweep your apartment and make sure theres no spirits or anything." I smiled softly and slid out of the SUV with Carter, "lead the way," I said softly I had my bag with me that had some basic ghost hunting gear I followed her into her apartment doing a sweep not getting anything, "I say you're all good to go spirit free."

Nick

I took the EMF out as I took and held it out looking around the apartment. I went in every room and saw that each was clear. I walked back to Jesse and smiled, "It's all clear." I told her and stepped aside so she could come into her home as I shut the door behind her smiling at her.

Carter

I smiled at Zak and nodded, "Thank you." I told him as I walked inside my apartment, "Would you like something to eat? I really don't mind." I offered Zak smiling.

Jesse

I smiled at him, "What kind of food do you like? or would you rather I pay you?" I asked softly I sat with him then I heard the EMF spike up to a 1.5 which is the base level of a spirit, I jumped out of my skin and grabbed onto him. "W,Why is it doing that?"

Zak

"Are you sure you want to cook?" I smiled and looked at her, "I'll eat anything you want to make for me," I leaned on the counter top watching her move into the kitchen, "so tell me about yourself carter."

Nick

I held onto Jesse getting up as I kept her close to me. I grabbed the recorder looking down at the EMF pump seeing the spike age going up. "I have no idea." I told her turning the recorder on. "Who's there?" I asked into the air hoping whatever this was spoke to us. Hoping it wasn't that evil bastard spirit from the hotel. I kept my arm around Jesse trying to keep her calm and protect her.

Carter

I began cooking the spaghetti as I smiled over at Zak, "Well. I love animals, I volunteer at the local animal shelter. Seeing as this complex doesn't allow animals." I turned and smiled at him. "I love the supernatural world, and things that can happen with the spirits and such. Some freaks me out. But the record I like it sometimes." I told him as I crossed my arms. "Plus with the whole Ghost Adventures crew, I have a thing for the lead investigator that loves provoking spirits." I grinned at him. "And I love cooking." I added rather quickly hoping I threw him off with the confession I had made to him.

Jesse

I stayed behind nick I hid my face in his shoulder I sighed when nothing spoke and the meter went to normal, "I'm scared Nick," I sighed and walked into the kitchen to start cooking for Nick, I turned the faucet on and the meter spiked again, "Woah,"I shut the water off and it went to normal, "You think that's what that was that spiked it someone turned their faucet on?" I asked looking at him.

Zak

I smiled listening to her list things about herself I blinked when she mentioned me, "So you like me?" I grinned widely, "and you like animals and cooking?" I grinned widely and looked at her, "Well this can be an unoffical first date because I'd like to see you again and maybe go out to dinner?" I asked softly, "You're like two hours away from Las Vegas so I can drive back and forth to see you."

Nick

I nodded my head, "Could've been." I told her walking over and leaning into her counter. "So, Jesse... Tell me a little about yourself?" I asked her keeping the EMF pump near me as I smiled at her.

Carter

I blushed looking over at him and nodded, "Yeah, I do like you." I replied softly as I pushed some of my hair out of my face. "I'd like that, a lot." I replied to him and smiled.

Jesse

I put the chicken in the oven and started the sides, "Well, I love to cook and bake, photography is a weakness, Hiking, Music, I dance to my mirror in my bedroom," I blushed and smiled, "I go over to Carters house to watch ghost adventures because I can't watch it alone or I get scared."

I smiled at her, "Then it's a date," I said softly, I prayed that because she was a fan she'd understand how my job takes me all over the country and how I dont come home often because of it, I prayed this relationship would last a lot longer than any of my others, "So if you lived in a building that allowed pets what kind of pet would you have?"

Nick

I smiled at her, "So you like the show?" I asked her and smiled. "Music, I love music myself." I told her smiling. "Sounds like you're an extraordinary person." I told her smiling at her as I took and smiled.

Carter

I smiled at Zak as I stirred the food. "A dog. I love dogs." I smiled at him before looking down at the pot. "I'd love to have a Lab. I think their so beautiful. But any dog would work for me." I smiled at him as I took and poured the homemade sauce into the noodles.

Jesse

"Yeah I'm a fan of the show," I smiled a little, "I like the short one, he's cute." I said softly hoping he didn't catch that I was talking about him, "I'm not extraordinary I'm just...plain." I said softly as I Plated his food I set it in front of him grabbing my own plate.

"Im sure you know I have a dog named Grace, you should meet her, I"m sure she'd love you," he said softly and sniffed, "God that smells amazing I love home cooked meals, being on the road all the time sucks because you miss home cooked food."

Nick

Grinning, I couldn't help it. I took and grabbed her hand lightly, "You like me?" I asked her smiling as I stared at her. "My eyes you're pretty extraordinary." I told her grinning ear to ear.

I nodded my head to Zak, "I can only imagine." She admitted and smiled to him. I took and put some food in his plate and handed it to him smiling. "I've seen Grace from the show. She looks like a sweet dog. I'd love to meet her sometime." I told him smiling as I put some food in my plate.

Jesse

I blushed and looked at him, "Yes I like you, " I looked at him and smiled a little, "Do me a favor, dont get hurt like this, okay? if you ever meet another girl like me dont go in for that investigation okay?" I ate my food and sighed I liked him but, I never, he can't he's got a job and I"m a softie.

"How about tomorrow? You and I can drive up to Vegas and you can meet Grace, I can show you around my favorite spots," I said holding my plate as I sat down at her table waiting for her I smiled softly I just felt drawn to this woman.

Nick

I took and looked at her and nodded my head. I took a deep breath and smiled at her, "Would you like to go out with me sometime? On a date. I mean this could be an unofficial first date. But we could go on another?" I asked her smiling.

I sat down in front of Zak nodding my head, "That sounds like an amazing plan." I smiled to him as I blushed a little grinning ear to ear about this upcoming date.

Little time skip

Jesse
I was wearing my favorite outfit as I walked around with Nick on what was our third date, I smiled at him, "So you're going to New York tomorrow? That's going to be so much fun," I said being very supportive with his job I would miss him terribly but I knew he'd come back. "Dont get possesed this time okay?"

Zak

"Why wont you come with me to New York tomorrow Carter?" Zak asked as he was back in henderson with Carter for a few days he'd been spending most if not all of his free time with Carter and Grace. He didn't really talk with people unless they really needed him because he wanted to focus on his relationship with this beautiful girl, "I asked you to be my girlfriend on our second date and now you wont even let me buy you a plane ticket to come with us to New York? Why?" I pouted at her.

"I promise to not too." I told her keeping our hand laced as I smiled at her. "Jesse, why don't you come with me to New York? I can get you the ticket now, and we can spend it doing some fun things after I do the lock down, and shit?" I suggested to her smiling as we walked.

I looked up at Zak as we walked through the park with Grace, "Babe." I told him as I sighed pulling my cardigan closer to me. "Zak it isn't right.... well I guess it is. But I feel awful if you spent all that money on me. I just..." Carter sighed a little. She'd never had someone be good to her like Zak had been. She'd always been in abusive relationships or controlled. Mostly controlled. She smiled at him, "Ok." She said knowing he'd be happy about it. "Ok. I'll go." I told him.

Jesse
"Nick," I said softly and sighed, "I dont want to take your money baby," I looked at him as I saw his smile I went weak, "I'll go but I'll buy my own plane ticket." I said softly and smiled at him I wrapped my arm around his side as we walked side by side down the sidewalk.

I grinned super widely looking at her, "you will!? Thank you baby!" He smiled and kissed her lips over and over hugging her gently, "it will be so much fun you'll love it I promise you will," He said softly looking at her.

Nick

"Babe let me buy the ticket, please?" I pleaded to her pouting slightly. We'd been together little bit now. I wanted to make her happy, and spoil her. That meant buying her everything. I took and kept her close smiling as I put my arm around her, "Jesse, I love you." I admitted to her kissing the top of her head.

I laughed lightly at all the kisses he was giving me, "Babe." I giggled even more as I held onto him as we continued through the park. "You just kissed me like Grace." I winked at him. "As long as I am with you Zak, I know i'll love it." I smiled at him.

Jesse

I looked up at him blinking a few times, "you love me?" I questioned with a small smile on my lips, "I love you too Nick," I wrapped an arm around his waist squeezing him gently. "So New York thats going to be fun," She said smiling ,"I'm still buying my ticket," She added looking around them as they walked through a park.

"I kissed you like Grace? I don't rememeber trying to lick your nose," I said smiling cheekily at her I looked at him, "I love you," I said to her for the first time stopping under a tree for a break in our walking. I watched Grace sniff around us.
