Tegan sighed as she pulled up to her old house where she grew up in Scranton, PA. She hadn't been back to PA or this house since she was fourteen. She was now twenty. Her parents had gotten a divorce and Tegan moved with her dad to California while her mom and older brother stayed here.

She took a deep breath and let it out before knocking on the door. She knew someone was home, if it wasn't her mom, it was her brother. She could hear voices and heard her brother's voice. The door opened and she came face to face with her older brother Ryan. She hadn't seen him since he was seventeen, when their parents split. "Tegan?" he asked. At least he remembered her. "Hey...Ryan..." she said. Ryan pulled his sister into the house, also into a hug.

"Ryan, who is it?" someone asked. There were two other boys with him. Tegan couldn't remember meeting them before she left. "My little sister, Tegan." Ryan said. Tegan waved to the guys. "She looks nothing like you." the tallest one said. "Yeah, she's hotter." another one said. Tegan just smirked while Ryan flipped them off.

Devin was on his way to Ricky's house to pick him up. They had to go to Ryan's because that's where they were having band practice today. Devin pulled up into Ricky's driveway and got out, walking up to the door. He knocked on the door, waiting for his friend to answer.

The door opened but it wasn't Ricky. It was girl, a very pretty girl. "Uh hi...is Rick here?" Devin asked. He had never seen the girl before and if it was one of Ricky's family members he never met her before. He knew it wasn't a girlfriend because he was single as far as Devin knew.

Dakota had finally made the effort to visit her older brother, Ricky. Three years ago, when she moved to New York City, her brother and herself had not left on good terms. They had gotten into a huge fight the night before she left, all because he disapproved of her dreams. She had never been so angry in her entire life. But now, she was back, and she was finally able to think about her brother without wanting to punch something.

She timidly knocked on his door, not really certain how this was all gonna go down. She waited for a couple of minutes before he finally answered, his long ebony hair disorderly, and his pale hands rubbing against his eyes.

"Ricky?" She nearly whispered, her blue eyes scanning over her brother. He had definitely changed over the time she had been gone. Ricky had grown out his hair so that it reached down past his shoulders and his pale complexion had seemed to get even paler.
"Kota?" He asked, almost silently.
He was happy to see his sister, and wanted to make things right with her. He realized that she was right after she left. She was allowed to do whatever she wanted, even if he disapproved. He wasn't really sure why he disapproved, but he figured that he better start apologizing.

-Two hours later-
Thats how Dakota ended up making amends with her brother. After a long needed talk, they finally sorted things out and apologies were made and forgiven.
They we're the midst of a conversation when a sharp knock sounded against the door. Both of their heads swiveled around before Ricky turned to her. "Can you get that? I really need to take a piss."
Dakota rolled her eyes, "Real charming Rick. Hurry up."

As he scurried off to the bathroom, she walked towards the door and answered it shyly. She was severely surprised when she saw who was behind the door.
She had never met this guy before, but he was absolutely gorgeous. She quickly recovered, answering his question.
"Yeah, he's in the bathroom right now. Did you want to come inside?" She asked, glancing at him. She didn't question him too much, figuring that he had to be one of Ricky's friends. She could tell, just by his appearance.

Angelo was surprised to see such a pretty girl walk into Ryan's house. Now, Ryan had a beautiful girlfriend so he knew that's not who she was. She had to be related to him, he thought. But how, he continued thinking, could anyone as beautiful as her be related to Ryan?

Chris looked at Angelo with a look of agreement, as if he had heard Angelo's thoughts.
After that though, Chris had immediately stepped forward and introduced himself with a flirtatious grin. He put on a charming voice and greeted her in a corny way.

Angelo just smiled at her, although he wish he had been more charming, and said simply, "I'm Angelo."
He didn't think there was anymore to say to her, just a simple introduction. Plus, its not like he was allowed to like her, she was Ryan's sister afterall.

Devin smiled and walked in, "are you Ricky's sister?" he only asked because they kind of looked alike. They both had blue eyes and the same pale complexion. "I'm Devin, by the way. I play in the band Motionless in White with Ricky." he introduced himself to the pretty young girl .

"And that's Josh." Chris said, pointing towards the other guy. "Sorry, I'm busy." Josh said. "Yeah, busy with your left hand." Ryan joked. Tegan giggled, "Ryan....it's nice to meet you guys," she looked at her brother, "I'm going up to my old room." Ryan nodded. As she went upstairs she heard Ryan tell the guys, "my sister is off limits to all of you." Tegan just shook her head at how protective Ryan was.

Dakota nodded, "Yeah. He's my older brother."
She shut the door behind him, glancing between the door to the bathroom and Devin. Seconds later, Ricky emerged from the bathroom. "Hey Kota, who was i- Devin!" Ricky exclaimed, drying his hands off with his pants bottoms before greeting his friend.

Angelo nearly rolled his eyes at Ryan's protectiveness. "Yeah, yeah. We get it." The three said in unison, before returning to what they had been doing before. Ryan shrugged at their words before following behind his sister upstairs to talk to her for a couple of minutes.
"Damn, she's really hot." Josh said in a hushed tone, tossing his phone to the side.
Chris instantly began to agree in silence, before going into what he thought about Tegan. Angelo just shook his head at them, knowing that none of them would ever be able to be with Tegan.

"You ready to go?" Devin asked Ricky, who nodded. "It was nice meeting you..." he hadn't caught her name. "Dakota." Ricky said. "It was nice meeting you, Dakota." Devin smiled.

"Your friends are nice." Tegan said. "Yeah until they want to try to get in your pants." Ryan said. "I doubt they'd do that. " Tegan said. "They were checking you out. Especially Angelo." Ryan said. Tegan just rolled her eyes.

Dakota nodded, smiling at her brother and his friend. She looked over at her brother, "When are you getting back?"
He shrugged, "In about 30 minutes. Devin and I just need to check up on some things and then I'll be back." Dakota just nodded, not really knowing about else to say.

"What do you think Ange?" Josh asked, "Don't you think she's hot?"
Angelo opened his mouth to say something but Chris cut him off, "Of course he does! He was totally checking her out!"
Angelo rolled his eyes at Chris and answered Josh, "Yeah Josh, I think she's attractive, but you know what Ryan said. I have no doubt that he would really try to kill us."

Devin waved at Dakota before leaving with Ricky. "I didn't know you had a sister." He said as they got into his car.

"Ryan would so not." Chris rolled his eyes. "I might make a move on her." He added. He looked up as Ryan and Tegan came down. "Are Devin and Ricky on their way?" Ryan asked. "Should be," Chris watched sd Tegan sat next to Angelo, "I like your tattoos." she smiled.

"Yeah, I never mentioned her 'cause we didn't exactly leave on good terms." Ricky replied, offering a shrug towards Devin, "But, she's off limits Devin. I mean it. I'm gonna tell the guys when they meet her too." He was about to get in the car when Dakota walked outside, "Hey Ricky, can I go with you guys? No offence, but your house is kinda boring."
Ricky grinded his teeth together, "Sure."

Angelo and Josh rolled their eyes at Chris. He always started acting like an idiot when attractive females we're around. Ryan watched the interaction between his sister and the guys.
"Thanks." Angelo said, smiling at her appreciatively before turning his attention away from her.

Devin just smiled, "I'll try my best." He smirked. Once Dakota was in the car he started off for Ryan's house. When he got there, he got out and waited for thrm before going up to the door and knocking.

"That's probably Devin and Ricky." Ryan said and went to open the door. "Hey dudes...and whose this?" Ryan asked, looking at Dakota. "Rick's sister." Devin said as he walked in.

Tegan smiled, "we have something in common...lots of tattoos." Out of all of Ryan's friends shd liked Angelo the most.

The guys looked over at Ricky for confirmation, curiously tilting their heads. Ricky sighed and nodded, "Yeah, she's my sister. Her name's Da-"
"Dakota." She finished for Ricky.

Angelo smiled at Tegan again, "Yeah."
He then whirled away from Tegan and waved at Dakota, "I'm Angelo."
Chris put on the charming smile again, "I'm Chris."
Josh shook off his shock and sent her a friendly smile, "I'm Josh."

"And don't let Chris' charm get you all excited."Ryan smirked. Chris flipped him off, getting chuckles from Josh and Devin.

Tegan got up, "I'm Tegan. Ryan's sister." she said. "Does anyone else have a hot sister hiding somewhere?" Devin joked. Rysn punched his arm. "What?!" Devin laughed.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Dakota." Dakota laughs, smiling at Tegan.

Angelo smirks when Ryan punches Devin and notices that Ricky throws a quick glare in their direction before shrugging it off. Angelo just chuckled at him.

"Hey, so I'm sure our brothers and their friends are going to "attempt" to sound great on instruments, so why don't we hang out and become friends?" Tegan said, giving Dakota a smile and then giggled when Ryan and Ricky faked a gasp. "How dare you! We'll have you know that we are just above average on our instruments." Ryan joked.

Devin just smirked, "I don't know about you but I'm fabulous." he smirked.

Dakota just shook her head at their banter, "Let's just get out of here before they try to tell us that they're better than we think."
Ricky gasped in fake offense again, "You're pure evil, you know that?"

Dakota shrugged innocently, sending a smile his way before walking up the stairs with Tegan.

"Well, those two are something else?" Josh offered, staring as they both walked away.

Chris nodded in agreement, while Angelo just chuckled and shook his head.

Tegan smiled and looked at her, "so did you use to live here?" She was talking about Scranton.

"They insulted us." Ryan pouted. Chris chuckled, "they were kidding." He smirked and patted Ryan's back.

"Yeah, I lived here until I was about 18 years old, and then I took off. It really pissed off Ricky, but oh well." Dakota says, shrugging her shoulders indifferently. "What about you?"

"But still." Ricky pouts, defending Ryan. "Don't be such babies." Angelo chuckles, shaking his head at them.

"I used to live here but mine and Ryan's parents split up so I went to live with my dad and Ryan stayed here." Tegan explained.

"It still hurt." Ryan joked. Devin and Josh rolled their eyes. "Let's just go practice so I can do something productive." Josh said.

"Oh." Dakota nods, "Yeah, I went to live with my mom in New York while my brother lived with our Dad."
