Ariana took and stood in front of her dresser fixing her hair a little and doing her makeup. She heard a light knock on her bedroom door as she walked over to it pulling it open. She saw Brian standing there and smiled holding her finger up. She went back and finished up as she made sure she looked perfect. She smiled as she walked over to her brother and walked out with him heading to this big party that Jimmy had been planning all year. It was their last year of high school, and Ariana was excited to get out and go to NYC for college. She smiled going with her brother to his car and getting inside. "Matt meeting us there?" Ariana asked as Brian nodded his head. Ariana smiled at the thought of her boyfriend since sixth grade.

Zacky grinned as he sat outside of Charlotte's home. He took and killed the engine to his car getting out. He took and walked up the drive and onto the small front porch. He balled his hand into a fist and knocked on the door lightly waiting for someone to answer. He smiled as he stepped back waiting.

Matt had been at the party for about an hour already since he'd helped Jimmy set it up and because he was there so early, he was definitely already very drunk. The party was already buzzing, everyone was drunk or on drugs and having the best time. Matt loved Ariana, he really did, but he was just having fun letting loose while she wasn't there. He took a body shot off some girl from his English class, laughing when she openly started flirting with him. But it was just flirting, so that was okay in his opinion.

Charlotte felt her cheeks heat up when she walked down the stairs and her parents cooed and started taking pictures of her. They had done the same for prom and now because she had been invited to a party, they felt as if it was a big deal too. It was really, Charlotte was so excited, she'd never been invited anywhere all throughout high school and now Zacky Baker, one of the hottest guys in school had asked her to be his date to the party. When she heard the door, butterflies rose in her stomach. She'd dressed up and put makeup for the first time, styled her hair after hours of watching YouTube tutorials and she was ready. She opened the door, smiling shyly at Zacky. If only she knew about the horrible trick the boys were going to play on her.

Ariana took and got out of the car with Brian. She took and smiled at her brother going inside. She giggled when Jimmy attacked her into a big hug. She smiled patting his back, "Where's Matt?" Ariana asked. Jimmy pointed as Ariana followed it. She took and made her way through the crowd not seeing Matt. She sighed wondering around trying to find him the best she could.

Zacky smiled at her, "Hey, you look very pretty." Zacky smiled at her as he took and offered his arm. Once she took it he smiled escorting her to the car. He got in himself and pulled out heading for the party. He smiled over at Charlotte. She was actually very beautiful. He took and let a faint sigh escape his lips. He was already regretting this damn bet.

A few more body shots and the harmless flirting had completely gone out the window. He'd gone upstairs with the girl whose name he couldn't even remember and he had her pushed up against the wall, kissing her fiercely. Even though he was drunk, he was still thinking about Ariana and he pulled back from the kiss, panting softly and shaking his head. "I-I can't," he murmured, trying to pull away but the girl had started kissing along his neck, and fuck, that was a weak spot of his. He could hear the girl's laughter as he pushed up her skirt, knowing she had won.

Charlotte took his arm, grinning and waving at the parents as Zacky walked her to the car. It felt so surreal to be in Zacky's car - she couldn't believe it was actually happening. "Thank you," she murmured, her cheeks heating up again as she looked over him. "Thanks for bringing me," she said, pushing her ginger curls from her face. "You didn't have to." She added, but she sure as hell was glad he did.

Ariana smiled at a few people from her class. She walked upstairs and heard moaning. She heard a voice that sounded like Matt's. She took and walked towards the door as she pushed it open seeing Matt. She felt her eyes go wide seeing him on top of a girl. She felt her heart breaking as she felt the tears falling, "You pig." She whispered out turning as she ran from the room. She jogged down the stairs and made her way through the party the tears falling fast.

Zacky smiled at her, "I know I didn't." He paused and smiled at her. "I wanted too though." Zacky said pulling up at the party. He took and got out of the car and walked around helping her out and taking her inside and up to the party.

Matt let out a quiet noise, grinning as he started to undress her. He had pulled the girl's dress off when the door flew open. He looked over at the door, expecting to see another horny couple but his eyes widened and he threw himself off of the girl when he saw his girlfriend. "Ariana!" He yelled, panic and dread setting in his stomach. "Fuck," he cursed, not even paying attention to the other girl who kept calling his name, begging him to go back to her. He ran after his girlfriend, stumbling down the stairs as he tried to do up his belt buckle. "Ari, please, I'm sorry!" He yelled as he caught up to her, his voice still slurred.

Charlotte grinned at his reply, the butterflies in her tummy going crazy. She looked up at the house and saw that the party was definitely in full swing already. Charlotte took Zacky's hand, walking with him into the party. She noticed people turning to look at the pair straight away, whispering and making comments about how Zacky had brought the weird nerd to the party.

Ariana shoved Matt off, "You were fucking another girl upstairs!" Ariana yelled at Matt seeing a set of eyes on them. She narrowed her eyes at the people and looked at Matt. "I just can't." She tossed her hands up making her way through the crowd getting to the front door as she walked out and began walking down the street to head home sighing as the tears fell freely.

Zacky smiled down at her and narrowed his eyes at people. He led her through the crowd to the booze as he got them a cup of beer. He handed it to her and smiled, "Here you go." He told her smiling as he kept her close to him heading away from the keg.

"I hadn't fucked her yet!" Matt yelled, but then realised that probably wasn't helping the situation either. He stumbled, tripping over people's feet as he tried to chase after her. He frowned when he saw Johnny looking at him, all disapproving and judging him. He drunkenly flipped the kid off. He shouldn't fucking be there anyway, he wasn't even a senior. "Ari, please just let me explain, it didn't mean anything fucking hell." He shouted, as he followed her out onto the street.

Charlotte blinked in surprise when a girl stormed past her, straight out of the front door, obviously in tears. She recognised her straight away as Matt Sander's girlfriend. She didn't know the girl, but she hoped she was okay. "Thanks, Zacky," she murmured, taking a sip of the drink he gave her, and scrunching her nose up at the taste. She'd never really drank before, so the alcohol was going to hit her pretty hard. She looked around at all the people dancing, playing drinking games and then look back at her date. "This is so cool!" She grinned.

Ariana stopped balling her hands into a fist. She knew her Haner temper was coming out. She turned and looked at Matt going to him, "You said you fucking loved me. Even if you're fucking drunk, Matthew. You don't go with a whore up to a room and start removing her clothes. Even if you didn't! You were about too!" Ariana screamed out the tears falling from her eyes. She saw Johnny come out and get between them as she looked at Matt narrowing her eyes.

Zacky smiled down at her, "I'm glad you think so." He smiled sliding his arm around her. "It's pretty awesome being here with you." Zacky told her smirking down at her a little. He took another drink of his beer looking around.

"I do love you! I'm sorry, I fucked up!" Matt sighed, biting down on his lower lip, not even sure what else to say to her. When Johnny went and stood between them, trying to get Matt to back away. "Fuck off, short shit," he frowned, shoving the younger kid out the way. He stepped closer to Ariana, reaching out and taking her hand.

The more that Zacky said he was glad to be with her at the party, the more confidence she felt. She downed the last of her drink, putting the empty cup down somewhere. "I need another drink," she laughed, feeling giddy already. But that wasn't from the alcohol, it was just from the atmosphere at the party and company she had.

Ariana shoved his hand off. She saw her older brother running towards them as she took and stepped back. She looked at Matt not believing him one bit. How could he love her and do what he did? No matter if he was drunk or what, it wasn't an excuse. "What the fuck is going on Matt?" Brian butted in. Ariana shoved Brian back. "If you loved me, how could you do what you were doing Matt?" Ariana said barley above a whisper tears flooding her cheeks and eyes.

Zacky grinned and went to get her another one. He walked back over and handed it to her smiling. He took and looked down at her a second seeing she was getting buzzed a little. "Want to head upstairs?" Zacky asked her smiling.

"Stay the fuck out of this, Brian," Matthew growled, not wanting to deal with the other Haner as well. Brian always tried to get involved and he would love to know that Matt had fucked up, giving Brian the opportunity to punch him or whatever.

"I wasn't thinking!" Matt yelled, frustrated and starting to feel a little sick because realisation was setting in, and Ariana was definitely going to dump his sorry ass. "I never meant to hurt you, I'm so sorry," he said, his voice softening too.

Charlotte thanked him quietly when he brought her another drink, and took a small sip from it. Her eyes widened when Zacky asked her to go upstairs, because fuck, that only meant one thing. She didn't want to say no because she thought that Zacky would just leave so she found herself hesitantly nodding before downing her second drink. "Let's go," she murmured, taking Zacky's hand and pulling him towards the stairs. She could see one of Zacky's friends, Jimmy, looking at them with a smirk. She shrugged it off and headed upstairs.

Ariana shook her head. She wiped her eyes and looked at Brian then back to Matt, "Whatever Matt. I'm done." Ariana said turning around and walking away. She stopped taking the promise ring he'd given her a year ago off. She turned around and took his hand laying the ring in it. She turned back around and walked off heading home. She couldn't wait for this night to be over. Soon she'd be leaving to go to NYC and do her degree in nursing. She felt the tears fall faster as she got away from them and slid down a fence breaking down as she cried harder.

Zacky took and held to her hand grinning back at Jimmy. He took and walked up the stairs with her as he took her to a room. He took her into his arms once they were inside. He kicked the door shut with his foot. He took and lent down kissing her lips deeply as he held her close to him. His hands instantly going underneath her shirt.

Matt froze in shock when Ariana said she was done, a horrible twisting in his stomach. When she turned back to him and placed the ring he'd gotten her in his hand, his eyes started watering. He quickly rubbed his eyes so no one would notice and clenched his hand into a fist, holding onto the ring. When she started walking away, he looked at the guys who were staring at him with frowns on their faces, and Brian shoved him hard. Matt stumbled backwards, obviously still intoxicated. He didn't know what to do or how to fix it.

Charlotte smiled shyly when Zacky pulled her close and started kissing. She leaned into him, arms sliding up around his neck as she kissed him back. She let out a little surprised noise when his hands slipped under her top and pulled back to look at Zacky. "I've uh... I've never done this before." She admitted, her cheeks heating up and she looked down at the floor, biting down on her lower lip.

Ariana pushed herself up as she took and headed home. She got home and went up to her room falling onto the bed. She looked at the picture of her and Matt on the night table beside of her. She grabbed it throwing it as it broke. She took and buried her face into the pillow crying harder. She kept her eyes closed crying and she fell asleep crying.

Zacky smiled at her and cupped her cheek stroking his thumb over it a little and smiled at her, "Don't worry. I promise to be easy." He told her as he held her close pecking her lips. He looked at her and kissed her lips again.

Matt ran his fingers through his short hair before falling down on the floor, ignoring Brian who was cursing him out and asking him what the fuck he did to his sister. He felt awful and he didn't know what to do. Brian and Johnny eventually left him sitting outside, since he wasn't answering their questions. After a little while, Matthew stood up and stumbled home, a lot less drunk than he was earlier. He was still clutching onto the ring she gave back to him.

Charlotte gulped quietly when he placed a hand on her cheek, smiling softly and nodding when he told her not to worry. She let out a soft, happy noise when he kissed her again and she pressed her body up against his. She didn't really feel ready, but gods, Zacky was so cute and he'd probably never speak to her again if she said no.

Time Skip: 2 years

Ariana took and clutched to the duffel bag she held in her hand. She had never dreamed of coming back to Huntington. Her home town. She sighed running a hand through her long dark brown hair. When she'd left she'd had blonde hair, but she figured it was time for a change. She took and paid the cab driver walking up to the front door of her families home. She pecked lightly and smiled when her dad answered and instantly took her into his arms. She smiled at him and walked inside going up to her old room. She looked around seeing her dad had painted it like she'd asked him too. Since she'd be staying with them a while. She sighed walking over and sitting on the bed. She took and picked at the locket as memories began hitting her hard.

Zacky took and sat with the guys as he strummed on his guitar. It'd been two years since he'd done that awful prank. He regretted it, but. He couldn't take it back now. He sighed as he looked up seeing Matt and Jimmy walking in. "Hey guys." Zacky said.

Charlotte grinned as she walked into the daycare that she'd left her son in while she went to work. She could see him in one of the rooms playing with some of the other babies there. He had only just turned one, but he could already say a few words. Well, two, and those were 'ma' for mommy and 'hi' and he really did like to shout them, especially while they were out. When Christian saw his mom, he yelled 'ma' and grinned, crawling over to the door. He hadn't quite mastered walking yet. Charlotte spoke to one of the daycare workers while another put Christian's coat and shoes on for him. When her son was ready, the daycare worker brought him out to Charlotte, and she lifted her son onto her hip. She headed out to her car, wanting to get home already but they had to stop in the grocery store first.

Matthew let out a yawn, stretching his arms above his head as he headed into the living room of Zacky's house. They'd been back from tour for only two days and he'd spent most of the time at the other guys' houses instead of his own. "Hey, man," he said as he walked straight into the kitchen to help himself to some food. He scrunched his nose up and frowned when he saw that Zacky's fridge was just as empty as his own and he sighed, rolling his eyes. He got cranky when he was hungry. "Baker, you have no fucking food!" He yelled, opening up the cupboards and only finding an old box of raisins. Since when did Zacky eat raisins? And how old was the box in there. He didn't dare open the box and try them.
