"I'm sure he'll be just thrilled." Cecilia muttered to herself while she looked around and waited for her mother to get back with her father. "Cecilia." Her father said when he returned with her mother giving her a slight nod of his head as if he couldn't even be bothered by her right now. "It's lovely that you've come home for a while, I'm assuming you'll be staying in your old room? You'll find that it hasn't changed a bit. And surely you can remember how to find it." He said before he was turning to leave. And just like she'd expected, no open arms and hugging. Of course her father was a very hard man to please. And her whole life she'd felt like a disappointment to him. Which had been part of her reason for leaving in the first place. "He means well dear. But you know your father, here let me help you with those." Her mother said helping her move her bags into her old room. "So did you tell anyone you were coming back?" And Cecilia knew her mother was hinting at if she'd told Zayn or not. Which she hadn't. "Because you really should talk to him while you're here, you two have a lot to work out."
Liam was still very tempted to slam the door in her face, and why he hadn't yet was still a mystery to him. "Nope. I sure haven't. Anything else?" He said refusing to falter. He was not about to become mush on her ground for her just because he still had feelings for her. He was angry with her over so many things and those things weren't just going to go away over night or be fixed by her just showing up. Honestly maybe he didn't even want them to be fixed. Really Liam wasn't sure what he wanted or didn't want anymore. "Because if we're done here there are some things I need to get back to," he told her even if it was kind of a lie. He hadn't really been doing anything, just laying in his bed staring at the ceiling wishing he had plans but almost feeling to tired to actually want to leave. However he didn't want to stand here and have to see her face in person any longer because it was just breaking his heart more ever second.
"Emilia Vance babe." Emilia said taking his extended hand and smiling at him. She could tell what he meant by the town being idiots and the one lady being a witch. Though she probably would've chosen a different word to describe her. "You don't look too bad yourself. Kind of cute in that apron." She told him with a wink, it was harmless flirting after all. And even if it did lead to something she didn't really care. Emilia was pretty much an open book. She didn't give a shit what you thought about her and would go out of her way to piss someone off if they annoyed her. She'd been described as nearly everything in the book and of course by people who didn't know her. But that wasn't her problem. Because if people wanted to believe that she was some whore who slept with everyone in her sight then she couldn't really stop them even though it wasn't true. She'd learnt to just kind of go with it and let things roll off her back. And so far it had worked for her.
"Oh okay." Louis said totally not knowing she had to watch him tonight or he would've just suggested they stay in. "Well I'll call you later then if you want." He said really wishing they could get out of this rut they were in. He wished they could just be happy all the time and that conversations didn't have to feel forced at times or uncomfortable. He wished that he could keep from saying stupid shit and upsetting her. And he kind of wished that she wouldn't get so upset when he said stupid shit that he didn't mean. But lately, like over the last two weeks or so he'd felt like all he'd did was say something that upset her and then she'd come up with some excuse to leave, or they'd fight about something dumb and out of nowhere. Louis didn't know what the hell was going on with her, or with them for that matter but he wished that he could just wave a wand and fix it.
