True To Your Heart

Allison walked through the castle as she sighed listing to her parents ramble on about the whole ball coming up. A ball that was being thrown in her honor. Allison kept her hands behind her back listing to them talk. This ball was supposed to be to find her a husband. Something she wasn't ready to have yet. Something she wanted to wait till she roamed the forest a little to see what all was behind the closed doors of the castle she'd called home all her life. She smiled seeing her friend, Megara or what Allison called her, Meg. "Meg!" Allison exclaimed causing her mother to jump at the sound of her voice. Allison picked her gown up a little and rushed over greeting her friend with a hug. "Thank god you're here." Allison said walking off with her ignoring her mother as they walked outside the castle.

Hook stood on the Jolly Roger, his baby. His pride and joy. The ship that had been his home for so long. He grinned seeing the Enchanted Forest coming into view. One place he hadn't been in a very long time. He took and grinned as the ship crashed with the waves of the water causing a slight bump along the way. Hook smiled as he took and kept going. He let a sigh escape his lip as he took a swig off his flask of the rum that lingered inside. He lent against the ship wheel and watched as everything began to come into view.

Charming sighed heavily as he observed his opponent. Once again the man was battling another gaurd, just as a means to keep his skills sharp. King Midas was coming into town, and Charming had to impress the king with his skills, in order to marry his daughter. The princess and he have met numerous times, and they both agreed that even though they don't love one another, they'll still marry in order to make the others happy.

"Ha!" Charming said, as he struck the other, winning the battle. In that moment, Charming's father came to him. "Son, there is a ball being held in a kingdom. And I would like for you to take Midas' daughter, in order to establish your relationship. " not wanting to fight with his father, Charming simply nodded, before going to find something to wear.

Meg smiled softly to the man that stood across from her. She had been told that day, that like many others in the Enchanted Forest, she had been betrothed. She went along with it, knowing that the two kingdoms were at war with one another, but after getting to know the man, she wish she could back out of the arrangement. Sighing lightly, she said, "Excuse me, I have someone that I would like to inform of the news." She gave a light smile before leaving the grounds, and going to visit her best friend, Allison.

Meg looked around the castle with her hands folded infront of her. She gave a light nod and smile to Allison's parents before hearing Allison call out her name. "Ally!" She shrieked, calling out the nickname she normally addressed her by as she ran up and gave her friend a hug. Meg looped her arm with Allison's before saying, "I'm sensing something is wrong?"

Hook smiled as he jumped off the ship once he had docked. He'd heard of a ball being thrown tonight for a princess. This was his chance to take and get some things he needed. Jewels, golds, etc. He needed it all. He need a few extra coins here and there. He took and grinned walking through the forest heading for the kingdom he'd been informed about. He had a feeling tonight would be a good one to remember.

Allison looked at Meg and sighed lightly, "This stupid ball." Allison frowned and looked at her friend. She stopped raising her arms, "Look at me. I look like a bride. Not a princess going a ball." Allison sighed heavily looking at Meg. "Their making a huge deal about this tonight." She frowned and stared at her best friend. "You seem upset." Allison told Meg.

Charming smoothed over the small wrinkles that were present in his clothing as he gave himself one final look in the mirror. Smiling some to himself as he approved of his atire before turning. A guard then made his way into Charming's room, a letter in tow. "Sir, I've come to bring you this letter. It came from Midas' daughter. With furrowed eyebrows, Charming took the letter and read it,

Dear Charming, I regret to inform you that I have fallen ill, and I will not be able to make it this evening. However, you may still go in terms of announcing our engagement, and also to have fun.

Charming sighed lightly before informing his father of the news.

Meg shrugged some as she looked at her friend's dress. "It's very beautiful, you'll have to admit. Besides, you're their only daughter, they just want the best for you." She said with a reassuring smile. "And they probably want your future husband to know you come from good stock, hence the big ball." She stated, making a gesture with her hand. She glanced to the ground before looking back to Allison. "My parents chose a husband for me, and he is absolutely horrible, is all. " She said in a nonchalant manner.

Hook grinned as he wandered through the forest. He spotted the castle and saw people going inside preparing for the ball. He waltzed up to the front of it and walked right inside as well. He laughed lightly and smiled at the people as he looked around. A lot of items to take from here. He thought to himself.

Allison nodded, "I know." She said lightly and shook her head. She looked at Meg and stopped, "I am truly sorry honey. I mean, horrible? They should've picked someone better." Allison told her best friend and saw the people coming into the room. She took and bit down on her lip and smiled at her. "And here we go to the ball." She said lightly taking her friend's arm and going towards the ball.

Charming smiled some as he greeted those he passed as he walked into the room in which the ball was being held. A light gasp escaped his lips when a fellow prince by the name of Philip came up behind him and gave him a hug. Charming and Philip exchanged a few words, and chuckles before Charming walked away to mingle with the other patrons of the ball.

Meg nodded agreeably with her best friend, feeling somewhat appalled by her parents actions, yet at the same time, okay with it, seeing as it was to be expected. She was conflicted when it came to her emtions. Allison's voice pulled Meg out of her own thoughts, feeling her hair shake gently as she nodded her ahead, she said, "Yes, let's have fun. No worrying about pending future husbands." She said with a giggle as she followed her friend.

Hook grinned as he took and walked around the ball room. He looked the part as he took and kept to himself smiling. He grinned as he watched everyone. He slipped some gold into his pocket with ease walking around.

Allison laughed and nodded her head. She linked arms with Meg walking into the ballroom. She saw the many of people that had gathered for this ball. She smiled at Meg walking lightly with her. "Look at the turn out." She whispered lightly.
