Nicole

Running my skinny fingers through my long dark hair I let a sigh out seeing the mess my mom had left. I groaned dreading doing this. I sat down at her desk and began filing the paper work as I glanced up a little. I took and went back to the papers before me. Gone for a few days and she leaves a fucking mess like always for me to clean up. I lent back into the chair a little and sighed knowing this was going to be one fucking long day.



Nero

I stood inside of DN running a hand through my hair. The girl that was supposed to be doing my paper work for DN was screwing up badly. I took and sighed looking over the paper work. I need someone who know's what their doing. This stupid girl is going to run my business into the ground.

Happy

I rolled out of bed tossing the crow eater out I sat there with the sheets draped around me my hands rubbing the sleep from my eyes as I looked around my house I got up and hopped into the shower. I was starting to get sick of this life and wanted something more. People had their own assumptions of me that I was heartless and didn't know how to love. I think that was because of my tattoos. I looked at myself in the mirror once I was dressed for the day I walked out to my bike whistling.



Sarah

I sighed as I walked out of yet another unsuccessful job. I went home to my roommate and sighed. "Try being a whore like me." She said to me I looked at her and sighed I was the farthest thing from a whore I played with my cross necklace. "Where do you work?" I asked her looking at her. "Diosa Norte. Go there and talk with Nero, I'm sure he'll give you a job." she said. I sighed and nodded I grabbed my bag and walked out of the house going to Diosa Norte. I knew for a fact I didn't look the part to be an escort.

Nicole

I sighed tossing the box of papers to the corner and pounding my fist onto the desk. I saw Jax walk in and grin, "Ma leave a damn mess again?" Jax asked me as I nodded. "Doesn't she always?" I asked Jax. I took and sighed a little getting up and stretching. I saw our mother pulling into the lot as I narrowed my eyes. I was sick of always having to clean up her messes. I walked out and looked at her, "Clean up your own paper work mess, ma." I told her before heading inside the clubhouse and getting me a beer. It had to be 5'oclock some where's.



Nero

I got up walking out of my office as I saw a blonde headed girl walk into the place. I took and looked at her a second. She deffinatnley was cut out to be an escort. It left me wondering why she was here. I walked towards her, "Can I help you?" I asked her.

Sarah

"uhm, Kim said that you might be hiring, are you?" I asked as I looked at him I noticed we had the same necklaces, his was the mans version and I had the female version. "Catholic?" I asked with a small smile I looked at him seriously, "I'll do any job you have I mean I'm pretty smart I went to college for business management." I said looking at him seriously



Happy

I pulled into the clubhouse lot and backed my bike into the line I got off it I smiled seeing Nicole as I walked into the clubhouse, "Isn't it a little early for drinking?" I asked looking at Jax's sister with a coy smile on my lips. I sat next to her. "Ya ma got you stressing again?" I questioned looking at her.

Nero

I looked at her and nodded, "You took business management?" I asked her as she nodded. I smiled, "I have the perfect job for you sweetheart." I told her motioning her to follow me. When she did I led her into my office and motioned her towards the desk as I shut the door. "The last broad had no damn idea what she was doing. Since you do, could you please fix these papers, and everything else." I pleaded towards her.



Nicole

"It's o'clock somewhere's, Hap." I told him downing the bottle and grabbing another. I sighed looking at him, "Is it that obvious she has me that stressed?" I asked him seeing him nod his head. I shook my head and sighed heavily. "She always has me stressed." I admitted.

Sarah

I took one look at the paperwork, "Man, who did this?"I asked him shaking my head. "I can try to fix this, I'll just have to run down to city hall with some forms to re-do all of last months papers. Shouldn't take too long." I said looking at him. "Does this mean I have the job?" I asked looking at him pleadingly. I needed this job so bad I didn't care how much work I had to do.



Happy

"It's o'clock?" I asked shaking my head. I sighed out and pulled the bottle from her hand, "I think you're cut off already, for the rest of the day Nic." I looked at her and rubbed her back. "What kind of mom would she be if she didn't stress you out? A mom who's never around." I said looking at her. "Teller's all have this, thing with moms where you guys just let her walk all over you, Nic. Just stand up to her..."

Nero

I let a soft laugh escape my lips, "Yeah baby, that means that you have the job." I told her as I looked at her. "I can drive you down to city hall. I have to go anyways and go over to Stockton for a bit." I told her as I smiled grabbing my keys to the car.

I looked at Happy and sighed wanting the bottle back but knew he wouldn't give it back. "Yeah that's easier said than done." I said to Happy turning to look at him. "I'm her only daughter. So she expects me to do shit." I said seeing her coming towards us, "Nicole Leigh." Gemma said stopping at us.

"Look Ma, I love you to death. But fuck start helping me with the damn papers. It's too damn stressing to get them all done and shit. You need to pick up your weight with the shit too mom." I said to her as she grinned at me nodding her head and kissing mine before walking off. I sighed in relief as I looked at Happy. "What's wrong, Hap? You seem down." I said to him.

Sarah

I felt the blush creep onto my face when he called me baby. I smiled at him and nodded, "Okay, sweet." I said and followed him out to his car, "Wow..nice car." I said as I got in the car I looked at him "So Mr. Padilla, can I ask you a question? Why'd you get into the escort business?"

"I'm fine." I said looking at her with a fake smile, "MOst people don't give a shit anyways." I said to her and put the bottle up I looked at the bar and sighed out, "So what are your plans for today Nic?" I asked as I leaned against the bar looking at her with a smile. I didn't talk much with people so I was hoping I wasn't comign off all creepy.

Nero

I looked at her shaking my head, "Nero please." I told her as I smiled starting the car up and pulling out. "Escort business..." I paused turning onto the main road and driving towards the Town Hall. "Easy money honestly. Brings in a lot of money that can help me out with my boy." I told her and smiled as I drove.

"Now that I told my mother that. Nothing." I smiled at him. "Guess go into town and get some groceries that I need." I smiled at him getting off the stool. "Basically that's it. What about you Hap?" I asked him and smiled at him.

Sarah

"Your boy?" I questioned as I looked at him, "You have a kid? Wow, I didn't take you as the type to have kids," I said honestly as I looked at the road, "I have a daughter shes 5, I'm not allowed to see her anymore. " I told him as I looked at him. I bit my lip as he asked why I sighed out softly before I spoke. "I was 16 when I got pregnant and I was into bad drugs, I had her and my mom and the state took her from me, my mom has all control of her and wont let me see her." I said looking at him, "Wheres your boy?"

"I have absolutely nothing planned, would you need any help with those groceries? Maybe I could tag along keep you company?" I asked a little hopeful she would say yes and that I'd be able to spend some more time with her. I enjoyed her company and not in the way I enjoyed most women's company either. This was different like, I actually liked being around her and I wanted to know her more. Even if she was a teller.

Nero

I took and looked over at her, "Ah that's rough." I told her as I ran a hand through my hair. "Yeah, he has health problems. His mother was a junkie and..." I paused realizing what I had just said. "Sorry." I told her as I pulled up at the city hall. "I really didn't mean to say that, you know." I told her.

I let a soft chuckle escape my lips, "I'd like that." I told him smiling. I couldn't believe he'd asked me that. I had always wanted Happy to be around me. But at times he seemed distance. I smiled at him as I walked towards the exit with him. "I'll even make you dinner." I smiled at him going out of the clubhouse with him.

Sarah

"No, its fine I get what you meant, his mom was a junkie and fucked him up." I said looking at him I looked up at the building, "come in with me please? I dont want to go in there alone I hate this place." I said, I looked at him and sighed. "I take no offence to the word Junkie or the fact that you just said that, my girl was lucky enough to not have any problems even thought I was such a fuck up. I'm sorry about your boy."

I walked next to her laughing, "Oh really? I haven't had an actual home cooked meal since your ma's family dinner two years ago, you know right after Abel was released from the hospital." I said and got in her car with her, I threw my belt on just so she wouldn't get pulled over. I looked at her and smiled she seemed excited to spend time with me, this made me really happy.

Nero

I shook my head looking at her, "Thanks." I told her getting out of the car once I had killed the engine. I smiled walking with her. "I don't like this place, either." I told her laughing lightly as we walked inside of the city hall to get the forms that she needed.

I smiled nodding my head, "Yeah, that reminds me I have to pick Abel up later on. You don't mind spending time with him either?" I took and grinned at him as I pulled out onto the main road heading for the store as I looked over at Happy.

Sarah

I looked at him and smiled as I got the forms I made sure to get enough copies of the forms I could go back and double check all the books. I walked out with him and got back into his low-rider. "So Stockton?" I asked looking at him, "Whats in Stockton?" I looked out the window and watched the street pass us.

"Nah, I love Abel, he's a cute kid." I said and smiled over at Nicole, I saw the weird looks we had received when we were walking to her car, I kicked back in the seat, "So, you think your ma will actually help out more now that you screamed at her?" I asked tilting my head.

Nero

I glanced at her, "A partner per say. Helps me out and stuff with some of the girls. I have to talk to her about some upcoming girls that I have that she is wanting for her pron movie." I told her as I kept my eyes on the road. "Also my son. I plan on stopping by to see him, that's if you don't mind the extra wait." I told her.

I looked over at him and laughed, "Highly doubt it. That woman lives to drive me and Jax nuts." I said turning onto the street that led down to the supermarket. "Yeah he's a sweet kid, rotten." I said with a soft laugh and kept driving to the supermarket.

Sarah

"Nah of course I don't mind," I smiled and pulled a pen out of my purse, "I'll just hop my little ass into the back seat and start on the paperwork," I said and waited until he was stopped to get into the back seat I opened the folder of paperwork I had picked up I already knew how to fill it out.

"I blame Gemma," I said with a hoarse laugh I looked over when we parked I got out and walked into the supermarket with her pushing the cart for her as she started getting everything she needed a little old lady walked up to us, "I think you two are just the cutest couple ever! Its so nice to see young love, god bless." She said and walked off I laughed a little nad looked at Nicole, I smiled at her, "Poor old lady.. must be blind.." I looked down to hide the fact I was smiling so wide.

Nero

I smiled watching her, "Hey, i'll only be a minute." I told her getting out as I walked inside to talk to Lyla about some of the girls she was wanting. We worked things out and I headed back out to my car. I took and got in and pulled out heading to the home my boy was in.

I looked up at Happy and smiled, "Yeah." I said giving him a smile. The thought of us being a couple, yeah had crossed my mind several times. I smiled and finished getting the stuff and some things for Abel where I had agreed to keep him the night. "That was sweet of her though." I told him and smiled going to pay for everything. "I mean her comment and all if it were true." I said rather nervously.

Sarah

I looked up when Nero got back in the car, I glanced back and saw the gang members and bikers all leaving the building I shook my head a little and looked at the papers, I looked up when the car stopped in front of the rehabilitation hospital his son was in. It almost made my heart hurt to think that there were kids in this place having to live here all the time.

I smiled when she got nervous. "Yeah it would be sweet if it was true." I looked at her and gave her a small smile before I looked away, "So," I said looking at her, "what else do we have to do again? My memory is shot." I chuckled as I helped carry the bags out to the car.

Nero

I glanced back to her, "It won't take long." I told her as she nodded. I took and got out and smiled at Sarah. I took and walked inside the hospital and smiled seeing my boy. I gave him a hug and kissed his head. I handed him the stuff horse I had bought him. We took and walked into the yard as I spent time with him. After an hour I hugged him and left. I got in the car and started it up leaving. "So tell me more about yourself, Sarah?" I asked her looking int he rearview mirror at times.

I smiled at Happy as I took and put the bags into the trunk. "I have to run by my mom's to get Abel." I told Happy and smiled lightly as I got into my charger. I took and started it up and pulled out heading to Gemma's. "Happy." I told him and glanced at him. "How come you are distant with me?" I asked him lightly. "I kind of get this vibe you like me, but then at the same time I get the vibe that you are wanting to be distant." I frowned.
