Count All the Stars

Zacky relaxed against her and slowly fell asleep. He knew that she wasn't dumb enough to run away so he let her lay against him. He woke up the next morning and looked at her. He slid out of bed then started to get dressed.

It had taken her hours to fall asleep so by the time Zacky was waking up, she was still fast asleep, having curled into a ball as she slept. She shifted in her sleep, onto her back and snugged closer to the blanket still wrapped around her.

Zacky decided to let her sleep in, and left the room. He walked out of the room then made his way to the dining room. Zacky sat down in his chair. Of course he wasn't eating but it was nice to relax there.

It wasn't for another several hours that Savannah started to wake, and she found herself alone in the room. She moved to sit up and winced at the pain that was still somewhat present in her throat. She was quiet as she sat, looking around the room. While she wanted to get up and see what was supposed to be her new home, she chose not to because she was afraid of what would happen if she chose to.
