Calvin shrugged, "Not really i'm just confused about what i want." He said. "Maverick is hot though." He said, laughing softly. Allison rolled her eyes at his comment, not wanting to hear about all of this.

Tucker nodded,"Well now you don't have to worry about paying for a living because you live with us." He said, laughing softly. He walked around her car then opened the drivers door and slid into it.

"Oh..." Spence said and looked over at Allison. "So whatdo you think is gonna happrn tommorrow?" He asked and smiled trying to change the subject. He really hoped that Calvin and Maverick didn't end up having a thing or at least not at the same time Tucker and her did.

"I guess." She said and narrowed her eyes as he sat in her car. "What do you think you are doing?" She asked. He knew how it felt to care for a car so much that you didn't want anyone else in it. Claire stood there next to her open door and let her finger tips slide over her car as if she was stroking a lover.

Allison listened to the guys talk then slipped from his lap. She walked to the kitchen and got herself a bottle of water. she leaned against the counter as she drank her water and sighed.

Tucker looked at her, "Just getting the feel for your car." He said, laughing softly. He ran his hands over her steering wheel, "Cause i'm gonna drive it one day." He said, looking at her.

Claire glared at him. "I get it but you don't have to be a jerk. You could just ask." She said and turned and walked away. It pissed her off that he did shit like that. How could he do that when he had just been upset about bargaining about her driving his car. She understood he was trying to show her how he felt but he had already done hat and stepped over a line. Claire started to head up the stairs storming past Allison and Spence.

Spence looked up hearing the swift movement of Claire and he frowned. She looked really pissed. He looked over at Allison. Maybe Claire needed a friend and Allison was the best person for that.

Allison sighed as every guys stared at her, "Oh because I'm the one with the vagina I have to go talk to her?" She asked. She pushed herself off the counter, "Fine." She said as she walked up the stairs. She was never good at talking to people. Allison looked at Claire as she stepped into the room. "Hey. Everything okay?" She asked as she stepped inside. She shut the door quietly then sat down on one of the chairs in the room.

Claire was sitting on the bed holding a pillow. She huffed and looked down at her toes. "He's so arrogant! He could have just asked but no he assumed. He already took my car from me once. And when I finally think he is relaxing and loosening his grip on owning me and my car he goes and sits in my car telling me that he is getting a feel for it before he drives it! He has no fucking idea how hard I worked for that car! It is all I have ever had that has been mine." She said struggling between wanting to cry or beat his face in.

Allison sighed then sat next to her, "Yeah yeah is like that." She said. "He didn't mean it in an asshole way. I'm sure he wouldn't drive it without you." She explained. "Just talk to him and explain how much the car means to you." She said.

"Oh he knows! He feels the same way about his car. He knew the moment that he said it what he was doing!" Claire said and ran a hand through her hair. She sighed and shook her head. "I don't want to be here with him." Claire said.

Allison nodded, "Look Tucker just likes to be in control of things. He's a power hungry guy and this is the things he can control. " she explained. She looked up as Tucker opened the bedroom door. She stood up then walked out leaving them alone.

Tucker looked at Claire, "Butch said you were pretty pissed at me." He said as he sat next to her. He looked over at her, knowing he over stepped his boundary. "Look I'm sorry about everything." He said. He looked forward, not wanting to look at her. "I just don't do well with new people." He explained.

Claire bit her lip not looking at him. "Oh you had to be told." She shook her head. "What made you think it was okay to order me around with the only thing that is really mine? I built it, I earned it and I raced it an entire winning streak until you beat me. I feel as much for that car as you do about yours. I care more for that car then I do for any person. I gave you an option to let me drive your car or not, you could have said no, but you gave me no option." She said and sat up glaring at him. "You have anything to say to that?"

Spence smiled as Allison walked out. "How did it go in there?" He asked still hearing Maveric nearly yelling. He could tell how upset she was with her tone of voice, it was like starting all over again. Spence walked up to Allison and wrapped an arm around her soulder bringing her into a hug.

Tucker looked at her as she yelled at him, "Look I'm trying not to be a dick but if you want to yell at me I'm gonna put you in your place. You lost! You got that! You fucking lost and guess what sweetheart technically that car is mine!" He snapped. "I was trying to be nice and let you still be around it but I touch it once and you go off like a psycho!" He snapped. He crossed his arms, "just be glad I let you near it. I could have took the car and left you with nothing! So be grateful for once!" He yelled. He glared at her and waited.

Allison hugged him back, "well she was fine until now." She said, hearing Yeah Yeah start yelling. She knew he didn't do well with arguments. Allison looked up at Butch and then buried her face in his chest.

Claire looked at him her stomach dropping and her eyes tearing up. She slapped him hard before standing as he gave her a shocked look. She walked into the bathroom and locked the door. She sank to the floor and started to sob. She shook holding her knees and rocking slightly. He would never understand what it was like to be alone and have nothing to call yours all your life. That was what happened in fostercare. Everything you had including family was gone. He had accomplished being the biggest dick in the world.

Spence kissed her head and rubbed her back. He would have to talk with Yeah Yeah when he calmed down a little more. It was easier to catch a hummingbird with nectar instead of vinaiger. He was doing a real damn good job of being completly insensative. Now that he knew she had been in fostercare could he even see how that might make her a little possesive and touchy. It wasn't a good system even for the lucky ones. Spence took Allison down to the garage were everyone was back at work wanting not to get on Tuckers nerves at the moment. He went over to his car and popped the hood setting her on the corner. "Help me make her purr?" He asked figuring it would help her keep her mind off Tucker.

Tucker's jaw tightened when she slapped him. He knew what he said was harsh but he was a harsh person. He walked over to the bathroom door and leaned against it. "Claire open the door." He said softly. "I didn't mean to come off that mean." He said. "I'm sorry okay?" He said quietly so only she could hear him.

Allison followed him and then nodded, "sure." She said. She enjoyed the next hour with him as they laughed and worked on the car. She looked over at him when he came out from underneath the car. Both of them were covered and grease but she thought Spence was gorgeous like that. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she watched him stand up. She laughed softly as she wiped her grease covered fingers across his cheek. She giggled and dodged his hand when he went to touch her.

Claire went quite in the bathroom but the door stayed locked. She didn't respond to him. She just needed some time to get her thoughts together now. Some time to put her wall back together so the brokenness ddidn't show but she was pretty sure everyone knew now. She was broken and she couldn't be fixed. Claire was strong in many ways but her car was her weakness. That was her car, all she had.

Spence smirked as he came up laughing as Allison wiped grease on his face. He laughed and went to do the same but she dodged him. He smirked accepting the challenge. He took off running after her. He didn't care if eberyone was looking at them. He finally caught her against the staircase wall and he pinned her to the wall and kissed her. He pulled back and smirked.

Tucker sighed and slid down the door. He leaned against the door as he sat there. "What happened to your real family?" He asked looking at his hands. "It's not cool that they left you hanging." He kept talking to her. "You know As didn't have anyone either after she turned three. She came to live with me and my uncle rick." He explained. "I got real jealous when she started to get more of his attention. He said she needed it though because life was unfair and took that chance for love away from her. Kind of like how my mom just up and left me with him." He said. He rested his head against the door. "It's all good though because me and As made this family." He muttered. "You can be apart of it if you wanna be." He said.

Allison laughed as he chased her then looked up at him after he pulled away from the kiss. She looked at him breathless as she let her eyes meet his. She couldn't stop her chest from pounding against her chest as she looked at him. She looked over when one of the guys dropped a tool and cursed. Allison playfully shoved Spence and smiled. She had to keep her one of the guys appearance up or they would eat her alive.

Claire felt he tears threatening to break again as she leaned back against the door her head leaning back as she looked up at the ceiling. "My parents didn't leave me hanging... they were taken from me." She said and sighed. She knew he would ask. "We where headed home from sledding. It was late and snowing hard. A drunk driver hit head first into the car. My dad died on impact and my mom died in the hospital two days later from internal bleeding. I only had a concussion and needed stiches on my shoulder..." she trailed off. "When I learned to drive I swore I would never be helpless like that again, so I learned how to avoid crashes and get out of tight spots." She said and swallowed hard. She didn't answer him as he said she could join their family. Claire felt that someone forced couldn't really choose anything.

Spence smirked as she gave him that look that sent his insides twisting and melting. He laughed as she pushed him away and he looked around getting it. It stung a little but he understood. He chuckled and winked at her going and washing his hands and his face. Spence really didn't like that they seemed to have to keep everything a secret. After cleaning up he finished cleaning up his car and put her away.

Tucker listened to her speak and then stood up slowly. "I'm sorry about parents." He said. He bit his bottom lip lightly, not liking how upset she was. Tucker knocked, "Please open the door." He said.

Allison smiled then went upstairs and got cleaned up. She got changed then walked downstairs as Calvin was ordering a few pizzas. She knew they'd be racing tonight and she was excited. Allison got herself a bottle of water and took a sip of it. She looked over as Spence walked into the kitchen then sat on the counter.

Claire looked at the door and sighed really just wanting to sleep now. She scooted over leaning against the wall and unlocking the door. When Tucker came in she was still on the floor her nose and cheeks read from crying tears still in her eyelashes. She sniffled and looked down at her lap. "Don't feel sorry for me. I am done with living there. I am here now." She said and sighed.

Spence went and showered up putting the cologne Allison went crazy for. He came down and walked i to the kitchen grabbing a water and sitting down at the table passing Allison to do it. He smirked knowing she had smelled it. He opened the water and took a long drink downing half the bottle before putting the cap back on.

Tucker stepped inside and looked at her, "I'm sorry." He said as he gave her a tissue. "Don't worry I won't say anything l anyone about what you said." He explained.

Allison smiled when she smelled Spence come down. She watched as the guys left then moved so she was behind him. She wrapped her arms around his chest and kissed his neck. "You are being a tease." She whispered in his ear.

Claire took the tissue and blotted her eyes blowing her nose breathing in. "Thanks." She said and threw her tissue away. When he offered his hand to her she took it standing. Claire looked up at him then down and took her hand out of his. "Umm so when do the races start?" She asked sure he had something better to do then make her feel better. Claire went to the mirror and started to freshen up. She didn't like to think about her past.

Spence smirked as she came over. He chuckled and patted her hand. "Yes love, yes I am." He said and smiled taking her hand and kissing it. "What are you going to do about it?" He teased in a soft voice.
