Alexander nodded, and put his ear up to the door of the storage room. He waited for a moment before silently cursing, and pulling away. He looked over to her, and said," I can hear them in there. There's multiple of them. I don't know how many. The room may be huge and have twenty for all I know- but I do know that they aren't going to be getting out of there anytime soon, as this is the only entrance beside the truck entrance in the loading dock outside. I've tried that entrance before, though, and that's locked from the inside anyway..." He sighed, and said," We can try to go in and clear them out. It you go hot and use guns, it won't be heard enough to cause more to come in anyway because of how the back room is designed... What do you want to do?"

Amber was quiet for a moment as she thought all of this through. They had already gotten far and it would be a shame to back out now. However they didn't know how many zombies were in there and that was dangerous. "Alright let's do. We open the door and try to take them all out. If there are too many we make a run for it, hopefully close the door on our way out to prevent then from chasing us...At least we know that the exit is safe." Amber rolled her shoulders a bit. "I take the right side. You take the left."

Alexander nodded, and silently cursed himself. "I wish I had brought a grenade to set off in case we did have to get out of there. At least take care of most of them so we can come back. But oh well. Let's go..." With that, he readied himself, and then threw the door open.

He immediately used his flashlight to scan the left side of the room. There were five of them, three crippled from full function by lower body injuries-meaning they couldn't run. That was good. He quickly bolted over and kicked the closest one into two more, sending them tumbling to the ground. He quickly went for the nearest one with his blade and sunk it into his skull. Then, though, the other standing one was able-bodied, as he showed by sprinting for Alexander. He quickly took notice, and crouched, flipping the zombie over him with its own momentum. When the zombie hit the ground, he quickly sunk his blade into his skull before bolting for the three of them that were still struggling to stand. Alexander quickly killed the one that was able-bodied, and then made quick work of the other two before looking over to Amber...

When Amber busted into the room and glanced over at her side she saw four able bodied zombies. And all of them looked her way. She didn't hesitate to sink her hatchet into the first zombie that she saw, getting it deep into its head-too deep. Amber attempted to pull it out for a few seconds with no avail and had to let it go. Her hands with straight to her hips, pulling both her guns out and aiming it at the zombies. She was able to shoot them all down with ease. Amber then turned to see that Alexander had taken care of the ones by the door on his side. So she took this moment to get her hatchet out of the walker's head. "We should search the room for more." Amber whispered to Alexander, turning back to him. "Meet back at he back of the room?" She asked him.

(So, I posted this on my phone, and it went through, and LITERALLY posted. Then, when I don't get a reply, I tack it up to you being busy, while in reality my phone is just an annoying little twit. )
Alexander nodded, and broke off to the opposite side of the room once more, and continued down to the back of the storage room. As he went past the aisles, he also looked over the boxes of rations that were still on the shelves. It seemed as if many groups had been here, but they only had enough time to grab the closest things and sprint, because as they progressed to the back of the store, the shelves became fuller and fuller. He couldn't help but smile at that- which must have looked really creepy considering he was still smiling when he stabbed a zombie in the head once he encountered him. It didn't put up much of a fight considering it had no arms OR legs. It looked as if they had literally been chewed off. Once he got to the back of the room, he walked across to Amber, and said," It looks as if they've been in here a while. They must have started eating the appendages of the one I just found."

(Oh goodness I fully understand that. My phone has done that before and it is irrating. >.>)
A look of disgust came over Amber's face. "Like it is not bad enough that they eat us now they are eating each other." It wasn't a pleasant thought, rotten flesh eating rotten flesh. She hooked her hatchet back up and put both of her guns away. Though they were all still easy to access. "Well I didn't run into anymore so we should start stocking up." A large smile came across her face. "This place is loaded. We aren't even going to be able to bring half of this back to the hide out." Amber pulled her backpack off and pulled out two empty bags. She would be able to carry a lot of food back this way. "Is there anything in particular that you want me to bring back or are you just happy with food?"

"Whatever you can find. Look for cans, or anything that is sealed and will last a long while. Other than that, if you want to grab some stuff that you have a craving for, just make sure that it's not terribly out of date, and bring that back." He laughed, and then held his fist up in a mock triumphant manner, and said," Tonight! We feast!" He chuckled again, then, and grabbed one of the empty bags and began filling it. Soon, he had the entire bag full of cans, and other non-perishables. But, there was one little box in the bag of something special for later... He hoisted it onto his back, and said," Are you almost ready to head back? We can return for a second load if you are feeling up to it, and if the window stays open long enough."

Amber shifted a few things around so she was able to carry everything. "I wouldn't mind making another run. Though I think we will just have to wait and see once we get back to your place." She told him before pushing her bangs back. "Anyways let's head out." Amber took her hatchet back out. Even though they had taken care of all of the zombies on the way in some could have wandered their way in. She started to head out and back towards the hide out.

Alexander loaded up and followed her back to the front, pulling out his two combat blades once more. Once outside, they noticed that there were actually no zombies that had stumbled their way toward them. So, Alexander led the way to the fire escape, and pulled it down for Amber to climb up, and then scaled it himself. From then on, it was just a matter of being meticulous and navigating the jumps with the extra weight...

Amber followed his every step back to rhe hideout, being careful now that she had the extra weight on her back. Copying what he did worked out for Amber so she got back to the hideout with ease. Immediately she headed for the kitchen and began to stock the place up. Her amile seemed to cover her whole face. "That went amazingly! I really thought we would have to ditch the food at some point." Amber really was rather pleased with what had happened.

Alexander smiled as he climbed through the window. He followed her into the kitchen, and set his bag down on the table before beginning to unload all of his stuff as well. He then said," I don't question or really truly talk about any signs of good luck or good fortune that gets sent my way. Mainly because I'm only usually talking to myself so it's kind of pointless." He chuckled, and then continued," But partially because I feel like karma has a way of coming back on you. It can't favor you all of the time. So.... I guess I just don't want to risk jinxing things- do you know what I mean?"

Amber glanced over at Alexander with slight confusion on her face. It was just that she thought it was rather odd what he was bringing up. She had not exactly brought up that it had happened because of good luck. Though in the end she suppose she understood what he was saying but it sounded like he just simply did not like talking about the good things that happened to him. "Well either way I am glad that this worked out for us in the end." Amber said as she turned back to putting the food away. Once it was all where it needed to be, Amber grabbed something to snack on and went to the table to eat.

Alexander rose and began putting away the food he had unloaded from the bag once she sat down- mainly waiting so neither of them got in the other's way. It only took him a minute to unload the contents, and then reached up into the pantry and pulled down a small box. His grin grew very large as he opened up the box. He pulled something small out of it before returning the box to the pantry, and then going back to sit down at the table. He was beaming as he took his seat, and said," So, guess what I found in the store..."

Amber turned her head slightly to the side, rather curious about what he was talking about. She had not seen him pick up anything interesting while they were there. Though it was not like she had been watching him like a hawk or anything. "What did you find?" Amber asked him as she leaned back into her seat a bit. Her legs crossed as she took the more relaxing position. Whatever he had found she hoped that it was something not completely creepy, like an eye. While still Alexander seemed like a good person there was always time for things to turn to the worse.

Alexander then held up a small package, and said," A box of twinkies! My god, I used to have them all of the time when I was a kid. I never really noticed how much I have really been craving one until I saw the box in the store, and just had to grab it." Alexander then pulled the clear wrapper off from around the pastry, and then held it up to smell, before eagerly taking a bite, making sure that it was a small one. He wanted each of these to last as long as they could...

Amber's lips curved down as a slight look of disgust came over her face. It was something that she really could not stop. "Surely that has to be rotten by now. There is no way that still is okay." She never liked twinkes to begin with but that thing had to be at least several years old. Twinkes had not been made for the longest time and who knew how long that box was sitting on the shelf for. "Come on there is no way that is safe to eat."

Alexander leapt up from the table, and ran over to the cupboard. He grabbed the pack out of the cabinet, and walked back over to the table. He held the box out to her, smiling. "The box says that the expiration date isn't for another two days. You have to remember- twinkies tend to have a shelf life that is longer than the life of the actual shelf," he said, before taking another bite. He then said- with a semi-full mouth," And they don't taste like they went bad or anything. So I'm gonna eat them." He chuckled, and then popped the last bite of the small pastry into his mouth.

A smile then came over her lips as she lightly shook her head at him. It seemed that Alexander had made up his mind about this. At least he wasn't being dumb about this. "Well I guess as long as you don't get sick from then it doesn't matter." She said as she got up and began to clean up after herself. Amber then turned to him. "What should we do?"

"You'd be surprised at how much medication I have in here too in case one of us does happen to get sick." He paused, then, and realized that he had said 'one of us' instead of 'I'. He blushed a bit, and said," Sorry. Didn't really think before I spoke..." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, and then pushed past the awkward moment, continuing," But yeah- there was a pharmacy nearby that I raided right before the shit began to hit the fan with all the other raids. See, I kind of got a heads-up warning call about patient zero and when everyone started getting infected. I have a buddy who was in the news, and told me when they got the reports in. So, I had just enough time to raid a pharmacy, and a doctor friend of mine even sent me a message about how to treat some common things- what medications to take that is. It's not a perfect science, but it's something. Just in case."

"Sounds like you were rather lucky in that sense to get a head start on all of the craziness." Amber told him. "I wasn't given a heads up and even after the news I still refused to go crazy like some of the others did. Well at least I didn't do that until I really got hit. Anyways any medicine that I had at the beginning of this is gone." She then smirked a little. "So don't doubt that I won't hold you up to your offer of sharing it of something happens to me." It was a joke, one that she hoped would take away from of the awkwardness from before. Besides she probably would never get a chance to use it. In a few days Amber would probably be long gone.
