Dimitri let out a laugh at what she said and he raised his gaze, eyes narrowing as he sneered at her. Fuck, maybe he should have just left the cafe and not wanted. But his loyalty to one of the best men that he had ever met in his entire lifetime, it was keeping him chained to his spot. "Sweetheart, let me explain something to you. I have fought far worse than you and I'm still standing," he explained, a frown on his lips as he took a sip of his drink. "I expect you don't have ver much traits of your father's because if you did, you wouldn't be so ready to fight. You'd be trying to figure a way for us to live, happily at that. It's a shame," he spat, a sneer on his lips as he turned, ready to leave. Fuck it, he wasn't going to sit and wait for her to come around. He didn't have enough time for that.
