So when we figure everything out, do you guys still think we should prewrite a handful of chapters before posting or do you guys think we should just post as we're done?

I'm up for anything, but I'm an awful awful awful writer ahead of time. I work kind of spur of the moment..

I'm still up for prewriting! Then we won't fall behind, and be all like, 'OMG, IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS' and we're like, "omg, pressure, pressure, OKAY DONE, OMG THIS SUCKS I'M SORRY"

Alright, I ALWAYS prewrite anyways, so I'm definitely down with that! :)

So let's just try to figure out what we need to do here, and there's still some particular things we can discuss:
- How we're gonna defeat the big bad Kings
- Angela's character + plot / integration of plot
- Lida's rescue mission when Kings kidnap her (I'm expecting Gazdic to be leading/all over that shit)
- List of possible casualties/its significance or non significant ones too
- Possible civil disputes? Maybe disagreements in thinking regarding how to take down the Kings? (since this wide group all came from different backgrounds.)

There are other things but I just can't think of it on the top of my head now..

OH and one more thing... I got a message from Cam (Reilly Smith) regarding this group write. She said she wants to start writing and she does not want to go into her first story alone, and she wants to do a hockey group write, and here we are! I guess I forgot to delete my blog or mention that I forgot, so that's why she saw it. But yeah, i was going to tell her we weren't looking but then again, her team is the Bruins, so I figured it could be taken into consideration?

What do you guys think?

Since they're like.. trying to control all supernaturals, haha by becoming the stanley cup champs, and it could have the good witches scared too and stuff. It could be another nhl team, or just a random coven somewhere in the east.

Hm... well I was thinking that maybe we can get a group of good witches help keep the Kings in one area, and they could go through the book about taking their powers away from them, and OH! MAYBE WE CAN HAVE THEIR AREA IN CALIFORNIA BE LIKE ...DYING OR SOMETHING?! BECAUSE THEY'RE BAD AND STUFF? and the good witches will say the spell to bring their powers that they've taken from the nature around them and they'd like come back to life, and the skies will lighten back up, and the left over powers will go to the (good) witches?

... I'll think about the kidnapping thing.

And we'll all make a list of the deaths and stuff from our teams? And who will make a recurrence in the story.

Annnd since I'm in love with Boston being a supernatural city, I'm totally up for Cam joining!

That sounds like a good idea! And maybe the coven can be from an eastern team? Or maybe a western team threatened by their power/dominance in the west (and realized how detrimental the world will end up if the Kings are unstopped?)

Ooohhh yeah I'll totally get to that soon! That's something we all need to discuss in order to help us pick out the important characters from the ones who are only mere mentions.

I'll link Cam to this thread and let her adjust to this whole group forum thing. ;)

I'm going to sleep now because I'm a freaking night owl and am online instead of resting for my exam tomorrow morning.

do you think it'd be ironic if it was the Devils who are the good witches?
Hurricanes would be good too, but I don't like them.

OH yeah, because they are making the world thing unbalanced between good and evil by becoming more powerful evil? Like on Charmed, when bad gets stronger, then the world kind of turns upside down because there has to be a balance. And there could be shit happening, OH LIKE THE WEATHER NOW, how crazy it is in the east with snow? And the snow is melting here in Alberta, well it just started snowing again but still. It could work. And maybe have a few other things, OH LIKE MAYBE THE TEAMS/SUPERNATURAL AROUND CALIFORNIA LIKE END UP GOING CRAZY. Like, how Getzlaf had the mumps. LOL, something like that but different, obviously.

I'm Cam. I am very excited to do this! When I found out we can do groupwrites on this website I knew I had to do one or at least start with one.

Of course I read through the thread and love the ideas, most especially how the teams are used to draw the good guys, bad guys, and their species.

The Boston being a supernatural city part is awesome! I like that!
This is new to me so I hope I don't let any of you down

Haha, damn if it were the Devils, every single Ranger would be objecting the idea, which can add to an interesting element in the story. But that can also tie into the whole Callahan thing (since my idea was that he got booted off because everyone didn't like his ambitions regarding destroying the Devils). But then again Carolina would be cool too, it'll be awesome to have the Staal brothers work together ;)

YESSS! Maybe the two Cali teams come and they're like "pls help us, we're all gonna die and we're all sick because the Kings have been using dark magic and ruining our environment!"

Haha @ the Getzlaf and the mumps part.. i mean not the real life him suffering from it, you know what i mean. I think it's a good idea to incorporate some of that idea into this! You are a mastermind!!!!

Don't be intimidated that Calli and I have this figured out because we've been discussing this for a long time before you guys, so if you guys have any questions, feel free to ask! I was thinking for the love interest for my character to be Reilly Smith - yes it's obvious LOL

aaaand, the Bruins are a bear pack, got it! but how does that work? They transform like the wolfs?

This is what has been discussed about the Bruins. Half of the bruins are bears, and the other half are still wolves, and the wolves of the team protect the bears during their hibernation.

OK, so idea!! was that the witches turned the Bruins into bears (they were once werewolves). And that could be another reason why the wolves stole the grimoire. And the spell to reverse the bear curse could be in the book, but it was decided that no one would open or read the book, so they didn't know about it. It could've happened during the war, years ago, between the witches and Original 6. It could be an NHL team that no longer exists that were the witch coven. And maybe half of the coven was wiped out by the wolves, and that's how they took the book. Maybe the O6 had a couple of witches on their sides who agreed to help in exchange that they could feed from the dead witches?

A fight almost happened between the Bruins and the Rangers, (this was when Andrew Ference used to live in Boston) but it was stopped by Andrew, who came between the two and stopped before blood was spilled. And this is why the Rangers are in debt to Andrew, so when Chris Kreider attacked Carey Price by accident, McDonagh called up Ference to see if he would help if a war would ensue between the Habs and Rangers. And Andrew asks for help in return with the Vampires.

ANNND when you have time this is the thingy for your character, you can fill out!

LOL, okay. OMG I'M SO EXCITED, I just hope we can pull all of this off! Or the other coven could be from Lightning (weather, eh eh)?

Also, if your Rangers will protest the idea of helping the Devils, then the Oilers will protest against helping with the conflict with the Habs, because they're the oldest pack so they're like, "WHAT, NO, WE'LL DIE!" I just like the idea of bringing in the rivalry's in this. And maybe the Bruins and the Habs kind of stay away from each other, so they never give one or the other the book, it'll always be passed off to another team.

Haha aww that gif is so adorable!!! And it's kinda sad but I had to google Gazdic to see what he looked like, but ayeeee, yes, they're all cuties :)

OHHHH ohhhh i have an idea!!!! So it could either be the Atlanta Thrasher or the Hartford Whalers as the witches. I mean Hartford is in CT and closer to NYC which is why I have a bit of knowledge about this (a cousin of mine lives there,) so they were moved down to Carolina which would also follow through with your idea of having the Hurricanes be the witches to help (and LOL hurricanes = weather too I just realized!) And maybe Hartford Whalers were the witch coven that had the grimoire and had the war against the Original 6 and resulted in them being extinguished, then maybe the surviving members of the coven moved down to North Carolina to form another coven, deciding to lay low and leave the wolves alone, having learned their lessons? And later on, we all recruit them for help and everyone is a bit hesitant, especially the wolves from the Original 6.

Oooh, I love the idea of the Oilers being like "HELL NAWW" to helping with Montreal since they are old and they are risking their lives if they agree to this! And IDK what we are going to do with the Devils, since I believe either Carolina or Lightnings (yayyyyy that'd be a great idea too because Cally's there - but would they be the wolf pack since Cally was a wolf and he moved there?) make a better choice for the group that helps us. But either way whether they are in or not, we really freaking hate them so there will be conflicts fo' sure!

And yeah I think it'd be a great idea to keep Boston away from Montreal because ouch, that would end painfully if they ever clashed haha :) So I was thinking maybe the Rangers and the Bruins will have a bit of a rivalry when working together, since they still had remnants of their previous conflict... but it'll be more like, uh, sort of a friendly competition, like which pack gets the best idea for a certain task or which one completes a task first? And everyone else is just rolling their eyes like "ugh these immature losers!"

I think i want my character to be a wolf. i have this idea that my character is Jonathan Toews's sister and everyone in the pack is overly protective of her, she's the pack leader's baby sis that's why. Then during the fight (SCF 2013?) with Boston, she meets Reilly and ends up ditching her brother & the Blackhawks for Reilly & the Bruins. She chose love over family.

I figured that can help give my character a relationship to uh, Angela's character since her character gets it on with Toews. Also i enjoy the idea of pack leader's sister switching alliance for love - sort of like the stereotypical gang leader's sister who leaves after falling in love with enemy.

She'll be 22 years old, relatively young

OOHHH That's nice! Then you two can talk about how to work on your pack relations! That's actually a wonderful idea! A good way to link your characters to the storyline. Since Toews's sister links Chicago to Boston and Ference links Boston to Oilers, and Oilers link everybody else to the Rangers, then technically, we're all linked!
