Maia sat on the rock and looked at her surroundings. Everything seemed terrible especially since the over run with the group of people. She glanced over at Kat. "You think any of these cars run?" she asked. She knew that they needed to find a safe place before night.

Rick walked over to Daryl curious about what was going to happen today. Things have been oddly calm the last few days which meant that there had to be something coming. He just didn't know how worried he should be.

Rick walked over to Daryl curious about what was going to happen today. Things have been oddly calm the last few days which meant that there had to be something coming. He just didn't know how worried he should be.

Kat shrugged and walked over to one. She took and began fooling around with it. Once she heard the crank she grinned back at Maia. "Oh yes this one will run." She grinned at her friend. "It should get us some where's." She told her.

Daryl looked at Rick, "Are you still worrying?" Daryl asked him as he took and ran his hand through his hair a second and gave him a light smile.

Maia smiled and went over and got in. She hoped that they would get far from here and find more humans. It was hard surviving with just her and her friend. She couldn't quite believe that they had made it this far, but they had somehow. She could only hope that they would be able to survive longer.

Rick laughed and nodded. "When am I not?" he asked curiously. "It seems like this is the only thing that I do these days." He looked at his closest friend. He gave a small smile, knowing that there was nothing he could do about all this. He hated it if he was sugarcoat ting his feelings. He wished that he had woken up in a better place.

Maia smiled and went over and got in. She hoped that they would get far from here and find more humans. It was hard surviving with just her and her friend. Rick laughed and nodded. "When am I not?" he asked curiously. "It seems like this is the only thing that I do these days." He looked at his closest friend. He gave a small smile, knowing that there was nothing he could do about all this. He hated it if he was sugarcoat ting his feelings. He wished that he had woken up in a better place.

Kat took and pulled them out onto the road better as she took off missing the other vehicles. And the debris every wheres. She took and rolled her window down to get some air. She kept her eyes focused and smiled over at Maia. "What don't you try to sleep babe?" She suggested to her.

Daryl patted Rick's back a little and frowned. "Hey, it's going to be alright." Daryl tried to assure him. Sure he didn't think it would be. But he had to try to cheer his friend up best he could. He sat down on the rock and watched Rick sit on the other. "Rick, I know it's confusing and awful to have awoken in this bull shit that we are living in now. But hopefully down the road it'll get better." Daryl said to him.

Maia shrugged. "I think I'm a little too worked up to sleep. I'm sure I'll get some sleep later," she said. She didn't really want to sleep. She wanted to make sure that she was far from where they were before night. She just had to hope that they would find a safe place. "Do you think that we will find more people soon?" She wanted to know what her friend thought. Her green eyes scanned her friends face.

Rick nodded. "Yeah, we have to hope for best," he said, agreeing with Daryl. "It's just that it feels like something is coming, and I can't really shake that feeling. I can't tell if it is good or bad. Do you know what I'm talking about?" He looked at him and then looked at the land around him.

Maia shrugged. "I think I'm a little too worked up to sleep. I'm sure I'll get some sleep later," she said. She didn't really want to sleep. Rick nodded. "Yeah, we have to hope for best," he said, agreeing with Daryl. "It's just that it feels like something is coming, and I can't really shake that feeling. I can't tell if it is good or bad. Do you know what I'm talking about?" He looked at him and then looked at the land around him.

Kat kept driving as she took and bit on her lip. Her brown eyes glancing over towards Maia. She took and continued driving take a dirt road not knowing where it went. But hoping it went towards somewhere's they'd be safe for the night. "Honestly, Maia. I have no idea. I am hoping that we will." She said truthfully to her.

Daryl nodded his head, "Yeah I know what you mean. I have the same exact feeling. That something bad is about to happen. I just can't put my finger on it." Daryl sighed a little and looked at Rick. He too had the same feeling unsure of what was about to happen.

Maia hoped that they would. They needed to. There was no telling if they would but she hoped for it. She sighed. "I want to be positive because you kind of have to. It's just hard to, you know? Will we find someone else out here that will help us? The last ones weren't very kind," she said on the edge of whining.

Rick nodded. "I can only hope that it won't be as bad as I'm afraid it will be," he admitted. He felt the wind on his face and hoped for the best. "Let's just hope that it won't be, or we are just getting paranoid from living like this for awhile now." He patted Daryl's shoulder.

Maia hoped that they would. They needed to. There was no telling if they would but she hoped for it. She sighed. "I want to be positive because you kind of have to. It's just hard to, you know? Will we find someone else out here that will help us? The last ones weren't very kind," she said on the edge of whining.

Rick nodded. "I can only hope that it won't be as bad as I'm afraid it will be," he admitted. He felt the wind on his face and hoped for the best. "Let's just hope that it won't be, or we are just getting paranoid from living like this for awhile now." He patted Daryl's shoulder.

Kat nodded her head. "No they weren't. They were asses." Kat muttered keeping her eyes focused. She took and saw a few walkers as she kept going full speed. She took and saw a small farm house coming into view. "Look." Kat pointed towards it.

Daryl nodded his head. He stopped all movement as he heard a noise of a car. "Rick you hear that?" Daryl asked as he stood on the porch of the small farm home they'd found a few weeks ago.

Maia looked at the house and was surprised at how well it was kept. "There might be some people there that may at least let us stay for a few nights," she said hopefully. "Maybe let us join them if they are nice enough." She scanned the area hoping that someone was there that would be nice enough to welcome them.

Rick listened the sound that his friend was talking about. "It sounds like a car," he said. He hadn't heard this sound in so long and it was almost like he hadn't heard this sound ever in his life before now. It had been a long time since then. "There has to be people coming," he said.

Maia looked at the house and was surprised at how well it was kept. "There might be some people there that may at least let us stay for a few nights," she said hopefully. "Maybe let us join them if they are nice enough." She scanned the area hoping that someone was there that would be nice enough to welcome them.

Kat stopped the car and turned it off. She took and got out shutting the door quietly. Walking with Maia she glanced around the place. It was starting to get dark. She bit on her lip wondering if anyone else was here or not.

Daryl nodded his head to Rick. He took and walked down the steps seeing two figures getting out of the car and walking.

Maia looked around and saw two people walking towards them. They both had a masculine build and facial hair. The closer she got to them she saw more defined features. One had darker hair than the other, and they looked like two separate people. She looked over at Kat, hoping that we weren't walking into something that would be worse than she could imagine. She put on a friendly smile on her face, trying to come off as approachable. She just didn't know how well that was working.

Rick looked at the two girls curiously. They looked like they had been through something rough, but then again who hadn't during this invasion of the dead? "Hello," he said, trying to be friendly. "Is there something that we can help you with?" He honestly didn't know what else to say. He figured that they could help them and give a place to rest if they looked turned out to be okay people.

Kat looked at the two. The one that had just spoke was absolutely gorgeous. She bit on her lip staring at him, "We was wondering if we could maybe stay here a few nights?" Kat asked out.

Daryl eyed the one beside the one that had just asked the question. She was beautiful. He took and smiled at her and waited for Rick to answer.

Rick looked at the girl and smiled at her. "Of course, come on in before it gets dark," he said, noticing the dark sky. He smiled at the blonde girl. She was beautiful, and he couldn't doubt that. He smiled and turned towards the house. He could just hope that no one would say anything to much about it. They should be fine with it for a little bit.

Maia looked at the guy who was smiling at her. He was handsome and had wonderful body build. She followed them into the farm house. She could hope that this would work out well, and not end up like her worst fears. She looked at her hands, trying not to draw too much unnecessary attention to herself. She didn't want to stand out too much. She was just trying to just be nice.
