Although she can be easy going, she always had trouble making friends with girls her age growing up. She looked up to her brother who shared the same interests as her, football, and video games. She was fascinated with video game graphics, and so she decided to go to school for game design. The only thing that would keep her from leaving town for school is her brother, who stayed behind to become a mechanic. She and Louis have an extremely close sibling relationship; they both believe they were meant to be twins. Like her brother, she didn't take anyone’s shit. Gray wasn't one to let someone walk all over her, the ones she saw as superior she'd willing follow.
When she saw Michael it was like he was her soul-mate, friend wise. There was an instant connection between the two. When the apocalypse started she would've left him and fended for herself because it would be easier to do than see people she cares about die, but she couldn't leave him behind. She was glad because together they were a team, top of the leader boards. Nine?? months in, and hope was still never lost, they found a way to cope with the world. They will find Louis; he was fighting for her just as she was fighting for him.

"I didn't want to see them turn, so I left them for dead... but not this time."
Liam was a huge family man. He loved his family so much, but he was selfish. He had willing left his family to die so he wouldn’t be put through the devastating situation of seeing them get bitten. And to see them turn into the things he thought would only exist in movies, and video games. Despite his chance to avoid the feeling of despair, he carried the guilt of leaving them for nine months, and he will continue to do so.

Louis Tomlinson | 23 years old | Dating Jenny
"It's bullshit! When I have a world ending reason to protect my sister, I can't."
While his younger sister left town to attend University, Louis stayed behind to become a mechanic. He loved to take things apart and put them back together, and that's what he wanted to do, despite his love for football. He wanted to own his own Auto Body and Mechanical Repair business, and he was lucky to have parents who supported his decision. When he and his sister were cut from their inseparable bond, he felt like part of him was missing. Their parents always swore they were meant to be twins, instead of being two years apart. And they agreed.
When the apocalypse happened, he immediately called his sister and told her that they'll find each other again, and that he'll never stop looking for her. Louis was a born leader; he was determined, and extremely protective of the things he loves. He soon met up with TWO OTHER CHARACTERS, who were nice enough to lend their help to finding Grace. Nine?? months in, and he could practically feel the lost hope from the others, thinking that their search was a lost cause. But he promised he was never going to stop looking for her.

Michael Bishop | 22 years old
"It says 'Michael Bishop, the Apocalypse Champion.' I still have the highest score, babe. I bet you can't beat it."
His grandpa was a hunter, and he always took Michael with him, this was how he learned to aim, shoot, clean, and take apart guns. When he got his first Xbox and game, he quickly developed a liking to First Person Shooter games, especially Call of Duty. He attended University for Game Design, where he was immediately labelled as the quiet guy, which intimidated most people. When he first saw Grace he didn't think anything of her, because he thought that she was just another person who would avoid him. To his surprise, he was the first one she approached in class, and he was the first student she befriended. Never really having friends, he didn't know how he would act around them, but soon found that he had quite a sense of humor and a fierce protective nature. He was a quick learner, as well as a quick thinker.
When the apocalypse happened he and Grace immediately teamed up, and they've gained a system. Michael loyally followed Grace in search of her brother, teaching her the ways of surviving in the wild as they go. They've learned to read each other well, and weirdly seem to know when the other was in danger. As they slowly lost hope, the apocalypse started to become a game to them as a coping mechanism. It was a game of survival. And it would be his downfall.
Weapons: Crowbar | Shot Gun | Rifle-- Grace and Michael are a two-man team at the beginning of the story, until they run into Juliet, Niall, and Harry scavenging.
-- Grace and Louis are on a mission to find one another, and to meet up at the Family Lake House. Michael is helping Grace, and Eden and Jenny volunteered to help Louis. Liam joins them, though he doesn't believe that Grace is still alive and doesn't keep it a secret from Louis.
-- Both Grace and Michael treat the apocalypse as a video game, and made up their own 'scoreboard', it keeps them in check.
-- Michael becomes friends with Niall, and when he dies he hardens up.
-- Michael dies saving Grace, sometime near the middle of the story.
-- Grace loses her humanity for a while, becoming reckless, and not hesitating to kill another living person if it means survival. Liam and Louis bring her back.
-- Grace later dies. Louis is devastated, as well as Liam who hardens up and vows not to become close to another person again. and leaves the group.
Katie's Characters:
Eden Adler | 20 years old | Love Interest: Zayn Malik
Eden was in her second year of nursing school when the outbreak happened. She was just beginning to get into her nursing classes, so she only has a very basic knowledge of medicine, but she tries to use it as best she can. She carries with her a medical textbook and a few basic medicines.
Her love of people and compassion are what drove Eden to become a nurse. She has a big heart and is very trusting of people, which caused her to have many problems with boys throughout college. After being dumped by her freshman year boyfriend, Eden decided to swear off men until she graduated, which she upheld until the outbreak happened. She didn't plan on finding anyone she'd have feelings for, so she rarely has her guard up around people.
Though Eden carries a few weapons with her, she is pretty much useless with them. She never had any experience with weapons before the apocalypse and always cracks under the pressure when zombies are actually attacking. She relies on everyone else to protect her, which she hopes to repay with her knowledge of medicine.
When the outbreak happened, Eden was at the hospital doing observation hours, so she saw some of the worst of it before she got sent home. Her roommate, Jenny, was still there and they vowed to stay together.

Before the outbreak, Zayn was a fun-having, carefree college student. He went to university on a soccer (or football) scholarship and spent most of his time playing soccer and going to parties. He wasn't focused much on the future aside from playing professional sports one day. Zayn was never really hooked on one girl in school and instead jumped from girl to girl based on whatever he was feeling at the time.
Being so athletic, Zayn was at an advantage when the apocalypse came. His coordination and athleticism allowed him to quickly figure out how to use weapons and he soon realized that he was a very good shot. His strength and stamina made it easy for him to kill hoards of zombies, as long as he remained quick on his feet.

Jenny was in her third year of college when the apocalypse hit. She had plans to become a marketing director after she graduated, which was why she was getting her degree in marketing.
Weapons:-- Eden and Jenny got paired up as roommates their freshman year and were friends ever since. They were never best friends and had other friends besides each other, but they were still close.
-- Louis, Eden and Jenny were in a group together for a small while before they grouped up with Zayn. Zayn came across Liam, Louis, Eden and Jenny in the midst of a zombie attack. Liam and Louis were trying to fight off a horde of zombies while the girls looked for a safe spot. When Eden got cornered, Zayn was there to rescue her. The boys got in a small stand off before Zayn agreed to show them his hiding place so they can stay for the night. When it gets overrun as well, they head out together to find somewhere safe. Eden blames herself for Zayn losing his safe spot.
-- Eden spends most of her time alone reading through her medical textbook and trying to learn everything she can about medicine. She knows she isn't strong enough to be an asset anywhere else, so she tries to use her brain.
-- Zayn is all about weapons and being strong. He eventually tries to help Eden learn to shoot properly.
-- When Eden gets feelings for Zayn as the story progresses, she tries to bottle them up because she thinks the last place to fall in love with someone is during an apocalypse, but it proves to be impossible.
-- Zayn thinks Eden is cute, but he isn't interested in finding a girl. He is too focused on trying to survive to think about dating anyone, but he quickly starts to get feelings for Eden.
-- Zayn and Eden begin to show their feelings for one another when Zayn gets hurt really badly and Eden manages to stitch him up with the help of one of her medical textbooks.
-- Zayn and Eden are both hesitant to tell each other how they feel because they don't want to get caught up in anything during the apocalypse.
Hannah's Characters:
Juliet Weiss | 20 years old | Love Interest: Harry Styles
"I worked so hard and I'll I've got to show for it is a talent for stealing cars."
Juliet was raised as an only child by her grandmother and grandfather; she was at the top of her class in secondary school and she got a full scholarship to college to major in education. A year into college she met a girl named Eloise who frog marched her into a ridiculous party. Four shots and an Irish Car Bomb later she pushed over a blond headed boy on her way to the bathroom so she could throw up.
She stopped talking to Eloise but she kept talking to the blond boy, Niall Horan, who quickly became her second half. Everyone had joked that they were like a married couple, something that was only intensified when they got a flat together in Juliet's second year of college.
When the virus broke out Niall and Eloise headed to the suburbs around the city to try and survive. Sleeping in an attic they lived off of increasingly stale crackers and cans of soup but when they ventured out into the world to find something better to eat they ran into Harry. After a tense Mexican standoff, Juliet and Niall agreed to let Harry tag along with them.

"We've gone through this much already, I'm not leaving now."
A certified city boy, all Niall ever wanted to do was finish school so he could finally become a dentist but life basically knocked him straight out when he was forced to drop out of school because his grades were too low.
He was attempting to get drunk enough to forget about the fact that he was late on his rent when he was knocked flat on his back by Juliet as she ran into the bathroom to vomit and he couldn't think of anything other than if she was ok. He didn't know it then but that was his future best friend and the person who would help bail him out when his rent was too late. Juliet and Niall moved in together and shared the messiest flat in the entire city.
When all hell broke loose Niall was the one to take charge. He packed a backpack full of clothes, loaded everything they needed into Juliet's car and when she attempted to go find her grandparents he threw her into the car and they drove out to the suburbs and holed up in someones attic. They stayed there as long as they could but when the crackers finally ran out they left, hot wiring a car older than them. He wasn't sure where they were going but that didn't really matter. Two weeks later Niall and Juliet ran into Harry when they both shot at the same biter in the same drug store they were both looting. He didn't trust Harry from the start, something about his stupid hair set Niall on edge and he doesn't trust him now, when he sees him sitting closer and closer to Juliet ever day.

Harry Styles | 20 years old
"There's always a happy place, just rethink happy."
Harry was one lucky guy. He was lucky to graduate school, lucky to get a decent desk job at his young age, lucky that he always managed to get the prettiest girl in the room. His luck ran out when the girl he had been seeing for a month turned into a biter and tried to take a chunk out of him. He left town as soon as he could, didn't the people in the movies always go to the woods?
That's when his luck ran out; he didn't know how to survive in the woods so he stuck with the suburban areas, camping out on rooftops and balconies.
His luck picked back up when he ran into Juliet and Niall. All he had wanted was a small bottle of shampoo but the isle had been blocked by a biter. At the same moment he pulled the trigger, a shot from his gun rang out. A knife was at his back in a second and he came face to face with a blond boy at the end of the isle. It took a lot of smooth talking and promises to get Juliet to lower the knife and a lot of annoyance to get Niall and Juliet to agree for him to tag along with them; they said yes after half an hour.
It seems his luck has picked up once again.
Weapons: Baseball bat | Rifle-- Niall and Juliet were stuck in that awkward 'kinda friends, kinda more' stage before the apocalypse happened, after they didn't bother talking about it
-- The two made a pact that if two years passed with no progress they would try to leave the country to see if anywhere else in the world had held up
-- Juliet is good at breaking into things (cars, houses and stores) without catching unnecessary attention
-- Sometime in the middle, Harry accidentally crashes the groups car, leaving him with injuries
-- Niall keeps to himself when the large group comes together, he won't really trust any one other than Juliet
I think they would either team up really well or really butt heads 
Maybe Louis is like the brains and Zayn is like the brawn? Phoebe wouldn't care though.
We can start off by a mansion with a huge fence, and possibly when someone goes scavenging they'll forget to properly lock the fence (oooh problems), and they get run out? And then the bed and breakfast will be found?
