I think the group getting smaller as it goes would be better because then you have some real attachment with the characters and you're not killing them off to introduce someone else.

If we were to introduce another character after a death, I would probably want it to be after Michael dies, which would probably be in the middle. So I'd be able to show the readers that Grace wasn't fully there. And after that they can agree that more people wouldn't be such a good idea, even though the world seems to be void of them.

OK, so the previous co-write for this we all had a one liner we used for our character page, should we do that?
Michael: "Michael Bishop: The Apocalypse Champion. I still have the highest score, babe. I bet you can't beat it." (... this is when he's dying)
Grace: "It's funny... I busted my ass in school, and for what? For the world to become shit?"

Also, I was thinking third person pov? .. omniscient? I don't know. Whatever you guys are comfortable with!

The quotes sound good to me! Third person works as well! Are we going to have chapter titles or name the chapters after our characters?

If Michael dies halfway through then how about Niall's group meet up with Michael and Grace before he dies and it's after he dies that Juliet is able to convince Grace to keep moving forward and looking for her brother?

Haha, we'll see what happens I guess! I think Michael should die after he helped Grace to Louis safely, like it was his life mission and he finally completed what he needed to do. Or something. I think it's the type of death that will happen when we get to the impending doom. And we all agreed on the mansion with a fence, and then after... the bed and breakfast?

1. What other dangers would there be instead of zombies and starvation?
2. Would any of the characters be the type to try and hide a bite?
3. Posting order!

Niall for sure will try to hide his bite but then the pain will get to much for me.

It doesn't really matter to me when I write, if you or Katie specifically want to be first or second than I'll go after you.

okaaaay.. I'm drawing a blank right now. lol, what else do we need to work on?
We got characters, the places to stay, the weapons, groups, deaths, ...

OH, how many chapters should we all get each before the group gets together? 2? 3? 4?
I know that Louis, Jenny, and Phoebe meet up with Zayn in the second or so month, and Liam in the 7th or 8th. And that Niall and Juliet start together, and they run into Harry.

Michael and Grace started together as well, and since I wrote them to be a two-man team, they usually stay away from groups. So.. I'm not sure how they would continue to travel along with Juliet's crew. We should probably figure that out.

I was also thinking that maybe my OC's can be on the 'going mad' side. They still have their humanity and it'll show in some moments, but half the time their mind shuts off and survival instinct kicks in and they go by the "it's a man eat man world" view. Since they already view the world as a video game, they obviously found a way to cope... even though it's not exactly normal. Haha. But I don't think I'll make them completely crazy, because Grace is still trying to find Louis. (I'm also trying to figure out where they would agree to meet up.) Kind of like the vampire diaries, Grace's humanity is Louis, and Michael's humanity is Grace.

Since we all don't care who goes first or last, we can roll dice (1)? lol
(I put 2 numbers on 3 colored post it notes, one color is first, and the others are second and third)

Ah, that reminds me, is some things about the world also going to change, aka the weather? Or should it stay the same?

Maybe Grace and Michael could join in with Juliet and everyone out of necessity. I've been reading up on how to hot wire cars and it doesn't seem that hard if it's a car built before 1996 so maybe Juliet could be hot wiring cars and she offers Grace and Michael a ride and the two groups are awkwardly smooshed together in some sort of pseudo-roadtrip.

As for weather change, I don't think the weather would be changing all that much that soon. It would seem like the weather was changing and getting harsher because the characters wouldn't have all the resources they used to and would have to think of creative ways to keep warm/cool.

And Niall and Juliet wouldn't run into Harry until about the second month after they decided it was ok to creep out of the house they've been living in for a long time but that amount of time isn't a big deal to me, it's easily changed.

OH, okay yeah, I like the idea of the car, haha. There could be a group of zombies around them... they would definitely jump in then.

I think that Katie will post second, and me or Hannah will post first and the other last. Just because we'll be in the same group... I don't know, does that work? So, either my second chapters or Hannah's we'll get them to run into each other. And then they'll either go where Louis and Grace agreed to meet, OR they run into Liam while scavenging?

Should it be a little longer before they all get into one group?

I'm good with posting second! What all do I need to put in my chapter? And who all will be in a group then? I'm a little confused about/can't really remember who is where at what time and when everyone is meeting.

Ah, yeah... we'll try to get on the right track before we start the story.
here is my attempt at a chapter timeline.

...since we're starting off in May...

Beginning Groups:
Group One: Grace and Michael
Group Two: Liam, Louis, Phoebe, Jenny and Zayn
Group Three: Niall, Juliet and Harry

-- sometime in May --
Hannah: Niall, Juliet, and Harry, are they going to be running into Harry then, or did they already meet?
Katie: Louis, Phoebe, and Jenny meet Zayn? or something.
Calli: Michael and Grace, (and maybe I could write what Liam is doing, he could be camping out in his hide out.)
-- a couple of weeks/a month(??) pass --
Hannah:
Katie: Phoebe and crew find Liam's place. (Hm.. could Louis show Liam the picture? or should I write that bit in the chapter below v)
Calli: Michael, Grace, Niall, Juliet, and Harry meet. (Show how Liam feels with the new company after being alone for so long.)

... does that sound about right?

Harry has already joined up with Niall and Juliet in May but he's still new to them. In the couple of weeks after that they'll be leaving the small house they've been staying in and they'll be traveling when they run to Grace.
