Th slender girl let out an inaudible sigh as she stomped out the butt of her cigarette before walking into the doors of her personal Hell - school wasn't too bad, the girl got a long with most of the student body, but she loathed being contained for hours on end. She was a free spirit, one who preferred the right away to roam as she pleased. "Hey, Opie, we missed your pretty face this weekend!" Jeremiah, one of her closest acquaintances, whined as he spotted his friend at her locker. "I'm sure," Ophelia teased, her pale lips pulled upward in her usual smirk. Her parents, or rather father, made sure she didn't get out much as she would have liked - he swore up and down it was bettering her, but it was only fueling her rage. Insults and bruises were not how you bettered someone. Her friend continued to babble on about the antics that unraveled during the weekend festivities, but the girl wasn't particularly answering - she wasn't missing anything, it was the same as last weekend. "Hey," She interrupted with a quirk of an eyebrow as she gave a slight nod of her head in the direction of a brunette, one she hadn't seen before - or maybe she had and couldn't quite place it. "Who is that?" With an exaggerated sigh Jeremiah turned to face in the direction his friend was facing, "Abigail Brooks, or something like that, she's in like two of our classes, babe." Her flamboyant friend teased giving her hip a gentle nudge. Was she? "Oh," She answered with a shrug of her shoulders, she still felt as if she had never seen the girl. "She's kind of cute." She mused, ignoring her friend's knowing look as she winked at the girl.

"Thought you didn't waste your time on the heteros?" Jeremiah teased his friend, giving the lanky girl's side a gentle nudge. Ever since her freshmen year that was indeed the motto she lived by, however this was different. "As if that beauty is straight," Opie scoffed, nudging her friend back with bony elbow. "She is totally interested! She blushed, straight girls don't blush." Knowing his friend had a point Jeremiah only chuckled and gave a shake of his head - there was no changing Ophelia's mind, especially on things like this. Opie was obstinate as a mule, even more so if it had to do with someone of the female gender. "She's just shy, you know?" Jeremiah huffed in Abigail's defense; personally he had a hard time believing there anything peculiar about plain Jane Abigail Brooks - she was as ordinary as they came. "We shall see, puppet." Opie winked and gave her friend, who was a few inches shorter than her own tall frame, a gentle shove before making her way to the brunette they were conversing about. Might as well make herself know, right? "Abigail, yeah?" Opie greeted with a lazy grin as she leaned against the wall alongside the shorter girl.
