    Amelia

Amelia watched the cats eat and a few of them come closer. She understood why they should not become too attached it was unlikely that Amelia would be there to feed them until they died. Though she didn't know how to give them food without having them be too attached. "Well how do you keep them at a distance but still feed them?" Amelia asked as she gave them the last of the fish. She wasn't quite sure how he did it. They seemed rather attached to him-especially sterling.
    Victoria

"Oh goodness." Victoria said as she looked at Matt with large, alert eyes. "You are certainly not coming to my house if you are going to do that to my condition!" Victoria loved her red hair and if messed with it the two would have a serious problem. She glanced at the others as they began to groan. Now she was rather worried that she gotten in because Matt wanted to hit on her. She hoped that wasn't the case.
Victoria then turned to the others, figuring that she would get no where with Matt on the subject. "I'll meet anyone who would like to go at The Blue Fox in forty minutes. It's a great restaurant and I am sure you guys will love it." She picked up her things and headed out of the room.

Maddock shrugged. “Here all the time. They come begging when I’m working, they get nothing. They learned I only feed them when I’m on lunch.” “He gave Sterling a pat, giving her another crumb. He’d have liked to pick her up and check her belly, but she didn’t even trust him that much. She’d claw the shit out of him if he even tried. She was due any day, and with the weather getting colder, he hoped she’d found a warm enough nest for her kittens. He’d hate to have them freeze.
    Matt
“Don’t worry, Victoria,” Matt laughed. “I’d never do that to you! Guy prank only!” Before he could say more, she announced a restaurant and time and waltzed out. He sighed, trying not to pout. He glanced over at the guys, all of whom were studiously ignoring him. Believe it or not, Matt was the only single one among the lost. Andy and Mickey, surprise surprise, were both married with kids, Grant had a boyfriend, and Jake was newly married to a great girl he’d met at an after show party a few years last. He’d always found it funny that he, the heartthrob, was single when they were all so happy. But that was about to change. He’d found his soulmate and was never going to let her go. She just didn’t know it yet.

    Amelia

Amelia glanced over at the mystery man, giving him a warm smile. She was ridiculously happy that she was getting a conversation out of him. With how the last days had gone she had not expected this. "Well I do not believe that I have to worry about that then. I doubt they'll follow me to work."
She noticed the slight worry in his eyes when he watched Sterling. Amelia understood what it was for. After all she was a very pregnant cat. "I bet Sterling here will be just fine. She probably has figured out where to keep her babies safe..." Amelia said softly. She cleared her throat a bit before moving on. "Anyways they're all pretty smart."
    Victoria

Victoria headed to her apartment which was not too far away from auditions. She headed up and put everything away before getting ready for dinner. After taking a short shower she reapplied her make up and put on something a bit less professional. This time she pulled on a pair of jeans and a black blouse.
After grabbing a few more things Victoria slipped her boots on and headed off to the restaurant. She had already made a reservation on her way back to the apartment so she knew everything would be good. Once she got there Victoria walked up to the hostess, asking about the table and if anyone showed up yet.

He looked away, wondering why he was being so chatty. A cackle in the back of his mind told him just who was responsible. Damn imp. He shoved the little parasite away and turned to look down at the wharf. Trade was slowing down with the coming winter and there wasn’t as much to do. He hated being idle. It bored him to no end. Few times in years past he’d had to get a temporary seasonal job just to keep up with things. He briefly wondered what the girl did for a living. There went the imp again. ’Stop it!’
    Matt
Waiting for her was a cleaned up and casually dressed Matthew Maledire wearing jeans and a dark green shirt. His jacket was on the seat back and he was doing very good to ignore the furtive glances and cell phones pointed his way.
When he saw her he stood, turning on a million-watt smile that was just for her. He pulled out her seat for her. “Victoria!” He said, delighted. “Nice place! I wasn’t sure what the dress would be, so I opted casual. Glad I didn’t goof!” Truth be told, he’d have dressed this way even if it had been a five star restaurant. He hated dressing up. Besides, he wanted to get to know her better, not play it up for the snobbies.

    Amelia

She wasn't surprised when he went quiet again. It was quite nice to have a conversation with him even if it had only been for a minute or so. Amelia finished off her food before shoving the the wrappers into her lunch box. She then pushed her hair back before looking up at the ocean. It was rather fierce looking with the incoming weather. "I wonder what it's like out on those ships." Se said softly, her eyes filled with wonder.
    Victoria

Victoria smiled at him softly when she saw him. "Are any of the others coming?" She asked him as she slipped into the other side. Victoria shed her coat off and glanced down at the menu. She already had an idea of what she wanted but she was wondering if she should get a drink at all. That would depend on if he did that though.

He shrugged. He’d only ever been on the ships to remove cargo, and had never really felt the urge to actually go sailing. He wasn’t actually all that big on water, and didn’t even know how to swim. One would think it odd that a man so afraid of water wouldn’t work so close to it, but a surprising number of dock workers had that same fear. Some men were just drawn to what they didn’t like, he supposed. And immediately pushed the thought away, not wanting to read too deeply into that!
    Matt
“They couldn’t make it,” he replied, pushing in her chair like a proper gentleman. “They all want to spend as much time with their families as they can. Being on the road all the time is rough.” He sat down and glanced at her suddenly worried. “Have you ever been on tour before? Do you have any problem with not seeing your friends and families for months at a time?” He honestly should have asked her these questions back at the audition, but he’d been so excited to actually find her that the difficult stuff had completely slipped his mind.

    Amelia

Amelia stated out at the water. For a while it was just silence between them as she got lost in the ocean. Suddenly she shook her head and looked at him with a slightly cloudy look. "Um." Her glaze turned to the cats and within a few moments her eyes became clear again. A few cats looked at Amelia before heading closer to the male. They weren't going to bother with her if she didn't have any food.
    Victoria

"I understand that. It must be difficult to stay away from loved ones for so long." She laid the menu down as she moved her hands into her lap. Victoria thought about his question but was able to answer it with ease. "I know that it will have its difficulties but I also know that I will be okay too." Victoria was used to not being with her family and she found seeing them a few times a years and calls were able to satisfy her. But she had a strong friend group in LA and it was going to be difficult to not have that constant support.

Tony did as Marcus asked, her brow furrowing at it, "You sure the ends won't burn? I've burt spaghetti this way..." she turned and grinned at him, "That being said, I can burn water quite easily, so that's not saying much." She clapped her hands, bouncing on the heels of her feet, "So what's next?"
    Edna
Edna's eyes widened as she took in the fight happening within the cafe. She followed Maverick into the cafe, gripping his hand tighter, their fingers tangled into one fist. She watched, a mixture of awe and horror, as the unknown female continued to yell at poor Max. She turned to Maverick, leaning in close to whisper, "What are they arguing about?"
    Faye
Faye rolled her eyes when he mentioned being her senior partner, "I told you I can hold my own Richard." She smiled at him, lifting a hand to drag a bit of hair that had fallen from her updo behind her ear, "And I hope he likes me. Our whole mission is dependent on him hiring me."

    Maddock
Maddock glanced back at her, confused at her expression. It was the first time she hadn’t looked happy about life. Well, he wasn’t going to ask. If she wanted to tell him what was up, she would. He doubted it, though. She was like him, that way. He hid in silence while she hid in words, but neither of them said much of anything.
    Matt
“Well, if you get lonely, just know we’re all here for you. We all know what it’s like. Hell, I call by brothers and sister at least once a week. We all remember our first tour. I’d never been away from the brats before. Never thought I’d be that homesick in my life. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have made it without Andy and the band.” He smiled, thinking about the old days when he’d first started out. “They’re family. And now you are too.”

    @ Jaguar’s Heart

    Mark
“Just keep an eye on it, and once it starts going soft, bend it so it’s all in the water. If you burned it, you probably had the heat on too high.” He watched her with the pasta as he cooked the bacon, the pop-sizzle of the meat the only sound for a few moments. “I’m guessing you don’t cook much?”
    Maverick, Max, and Murel
He sighed, broad shoulders slumping. “Me.” He watched the fight a few minutes longer, Murel becoming more and more incensed and Max becoming defensive as he tried not to wilt under the onslaught. Suddenly he snapped and said something that sent his baby sister over the edge. With a screech of ”You goddamn one-track-minded whore!” She grabbed a knife off a nearby table and cocked her arm back.
Max screeched and took off, diving behind the counter just in time to dodge the weapon flying over his head. ”You cow! Don’t you damage my café!”
Murel looked around for another weapon, only then realizing that Maverick had returned, safe and sound. And he wasn’t alone. Snarling, she stalked over, pulling her much larger brother away and spinning him around as she looked him over for injury.
“Are you okay?” She demanded. “What happened? Were you hurt? Did you get lost? Did she do anything to you?” She looked around him to snarl at Edna, literally baring her teeth like a dog. “I don’t know who you are, you bitch, but you stay away from Maverick! Hurt him and I’ll rip your fucking throat out!”
“Murel!” Maverick exclaimed, startled out of his funk but the threat. “Edna’s a friend, she didn’t do anything, so calm down and sheath your claws.”
Both Max and Murel stared at him, shocked that he’d actually raised his voice. Max crept out from behind the register, ready to hide again at the slightest warning.
    Mariah
If she thought calling him Richard would annoy him, she was sadly mistaken. It was much better than Dick. But it wasn’t exactly as if he had a choice in his cover name. Dick Johnson. Random selection his ass. Jason had done that on purpose.
“Good. Now, how about some dinner? I’m starved.”

She rubbed her face before reaching down and lightly petting the cats. Some of them stayed away from her but two came over to received the attention. A soft smile came across her face again as the cats began to calm her back down again. "They are such sweet things though. Truly they are."

    Victoria

A warm smile came across her face as her eyes seemed to light up a little. "Well thank you, for bringing me into your family." She thought that Matt was a little crazy but he was also sweet and welcoming. So far she could see herself getting along with the whole band but still she questioned her relationship with the manager.

The bridge of Tony's nose wrinkled as she scrunched her face in reaction to his question, "No. I'm a nomad, traveling with the wind... which means no stove, oven, microwave, or refrigerator for leftovers." she poked at the pasta with a fork, "How long is it going to take to get soft?" She hadn't realized just how close they were standing, her gaze instead taking on the pan of delicious smelling meat he was cooking, "Though I have to say that right now I'm very envious of this."
    Edna
Edna's body tensed as the woman lifted a rather large knife and threw it. She gasped, her hand clasping over her mouth, then let out a relieved breath when she realized that Max was okay... only to take a step back into Maverick when Murel rushed to them. She contemplated separating him from her, but she didn't seem as intent on murder with Maverick as she had with Max so she rushed to the later and helped him up, but when Murel turned on her Edna's eyes narrowed. She was a bit surprised at Maverick's elevated tone, but apparently not as much as his family since she was the first to react. Making sure Max could stand on his own she took two steps closer to Murel, "The only bitch I see here is you. I don't know what I just walked into, but this... this is no way for siblings," her voice broke a bit on the work, but she moved on, unaware that her eyes had grown just a tad sad, "to act. If you were so worried about the welfare of Maverick then you should have been watching him, not handing the job off to someone else." She tossed her arms up, "And that brings up another point. Why in the world is Maverick under constant watch? He's a grown man."
    Faye
Faye blinked at him, frowning a bit, "Didn't you just eat at the dinner?" She asked, hand lifting and flinging in the general direction of where she assumed the dinner was located, "How can you be hungry again?" She shook her head, "Then again, you are quite massive. I suppose it takes a lot of food to make sure you have enough strength to keep your gigantic bulk from succumbing to gravity," she said with a smile, a bit of a snarky tone layered in her words.

He grunted in reply, scratching a purring Sterling under the chin. It was part of why he liked them. He was a cat person, through and through. Dogs, not so much. Too much energy. He wondered if the girl was a dog person. It would make things tough if she were. Wait, did he really just think that? He shook his head, convinced his imp was messing with him.
    Matt
She didn’t know how far he wanted to bring her into his family. And she wouldn’t for a while yet, it wouldn’t do to scare her off. But she would be his. His imp cackled, pushing him to make a move. ’Calm down,’ he told it. ’Let me handle this.’
“So,” he said, picking up the menu. “Tell me about yourself! How’d you first get into music?”

    @ Jaguar’s Heart

    Mark
“I know how that goes.” He said, nodding. “It’s not fun. I much prefer settled life.” He glanced around at the kitchen. “I worked hard to get where I am today. It wasn’t all exactly things I’m proud of, but I did what was necessary.” He glanced away, a shadow falling over his face. He’d spilled a lot of blood over the years, his hands were stained with it. But if he hadn’t, he and his siblings would probably be dead in a ditch somewhere, or worse.
    Maverick, Max, and Murel
Immediate silence fell over the café at Edna’s words, everyone looking everywhere but each other. Maverick stared off into the distance, cringing internally. Murel was the first to snap out of the dangerous and uncomfortable silence. She shook off the restraining hands her brothers had placed on her.
“We don’t talk about it.” She said simply, her voice a low, restrained rasp. “Now, I think you’d best leave. We don’t want or need you here. This is family business.” Her temper started to rise again as she spoke, and her brothers began to hover anxiously. “You are neither needed nor wanted.”
“Murel!” Max said, trying to placate her. “You don’t have to be rude. Edna’s a nice girl, and she’s Maverick’s friend.” He placed an emphasis on the last word, still surprised.
“It’s ok, kiddo,” Mav said. “Thanks for the concern, but you don’t have to worry.” He desperately thought of a way to try and distract her. “I didn’t see your car out front. Weren’t you supposed to pick Mark up at the airport this afternoon?”
Murel winced, physically flinching. The mention of Mark reminded her how angry he likely was. He was the least likely to let it show, but he still had that fierce Maledire temper they all shared. And when he let loose, things got ugly. “Yeah, about that…My car’s in the shop. It wouldn’t start and I had to call a tow. It’s why I came here, I wanted to ask you to take a look?” He went from raging bitch to simpering sister quick as lightning as she turned on the puppy dog eyes. “Please?”
    Mariah
He blinked back. “That was hours ago. Don’t tell me you’re still full!” To emphasize his point, his stomach rumbled. He smirked at her quip. “Har har, I’m not that big, honey, trust me. You’ll see much bigger at the bar. Unless we’re talking about where it counts, then yeah, I’m pretty impressive.”

Tony hadn't expected to like the man beside her when she'd first gotten into the cab with him... but she did. And now, to see him seem a bit sad, she wanted to help him just like he was helping her. So, with a smile, she nudged his side with her elbow and wagged her eyebrows, "Well, now that you have all this nice stuff I'm going to do you a solid and take some off your hands. I saw this glass bowl by your door that's just screaming my name." Her smile widened into a full grin, "I'll take a few things from here, giving you new empty places to fill, and you can start pickpocketing and stealing on the side - part time and all - just to get that thrill back."
    Edna
Edna's chin automatically lifted at Murel's words to her. They hurt, her chest aching. She'd thought that, while just meeting him, Maverick had come to see... something. Maybe not a fully friendship, but definitely something, but apparently not. So Edna shoved back those feelings, tossing them down into a vault within her mind that house so many other hurtful things and locking them away. As the siblings talked amongst themselves she made an about-face and began walking to the door. They - later she would admit that Murel, not everyone, but right now she was still reeling from the sudden hurt - wanted her gone so she would leave. No fuss, no muss, her mother's voice chimed within her head.
    Faye
Faye blinked at Mariah after his words, a frown pulling at her brow. What did he mean by that? Didn't size count... everywhere? Muscles! She exclaimed in her head, he must be talking about muscles, "Right. Where it counts. Can't intimidate all those rowdy drunks at the bar without that, can you?
She grinned at him, giving Mariah a dazzling Faye smile, "Well, if you're hungry I could whip something up for you." She stood from the chair, dragging the hem of her her dress down again before running her palms across it and her thighs to smooth any wrinkles, "What do you have in your kitchen?" She walked to said area, bare feet silent on his floor.

After a few more minutes Amelia stopped what she was doing and leaned back into the bench. She ran a hand through her hair and began to relax a bit. Her phone went off and Amelia reached for it, going through her messages. She hummed as she stood up, suddenly in a better mood. "I have to go now. It was nice talking to you mystery man. Until tomorrow." Amelia said as she stood up, grabbing her things again.
    Victoria

Victoria was about to speak until the waitress came over and asked for their drink order. She looked up at her and got a drink, just something simple. After that Victoria turned back to Matt to answer the question. After understanding him a bit better she was ready to answer some of his question. Though still she rather keep some distance until she was ready. "I first was introduced to music by my parents. They had me take piano lessons when I was six and then when I was nine I started playing guitar. How about you? How did you get started?"

She startled him into a laugh. Not a smile, not a chuckle, but a real laugh. He had a nice laugh, and he was often told he should use it more often, but he rarely found things amusing enough to do so. “Oh, he did like her! He hadn’t excepted to, but he did! “I’ll beg you not to,” he said with a chuckle, gracing her with a smile he seemed to have discovered just for her. “That bowl isn’t really worth all that much. It’s a bit of a joke, really. I was completely swindled. Thought I was getting something nice, but when I had it appraised, I found out I got completely swindled!”
    Maverick, Max, and Murel
Maverick watched her head for the door. Concerned that she might have been hurt by Murel’s words (she could be a wicked little viper when she put her mind to it), he left Murel standing there and trotted over, catching Edna’s hand before she could leave.
“Wait,” he said, desperate to make things right. “I’m sorry. Murel’s young, she doesn’t know how to control her…temper yet.” He’d almost said ‘imp’, but had managed to bite the word back before it got out. Murel, as the youngest of them, was the closest to her imp, more often than not giving in to its suggestions. In time she’d learn to separate herself from it as they all had, but for now she and the imp were nearly one and the same, making her very bitchy much of the time.
Murel practically snarled as Maverick went to placate the little bitch who was trying to worm her way into her brother’s pants, but an elbow to the kidneys from Max had her looking things over differently. Mav actually seemed to care about her. She blinked, surprised, all her anger rushing out of her. Maverick didn’t care about anyone, not even them, really. Not since her. Sighing, she realized she should apologize.
Shoulders drooping, she walked over, extending a hand in truce. “Look, I’m sorry. That was uncalled for. I don’t even know your name, and I’m insulting you. I get a little crazy when it comes to Maverick. Can we start over? I’m Murel. And you are?”
    Mariah
“Well, I don’t think whipping it out in the middle of a bar would win me any brownie points, but sure, I could intimidate them.” He shrugged, not sure why she’d said that but playing along. “It’s easier just to flex and loom, though.”
He watched her make her way to the little kitchenette, frowning. “All I got in there is some old pizza and some Chinese takeout, sweetheart.” He called after her. “I don’t cook much.”

    @ Mother.Of.Dragons

    Maddock
He watched her stand and begin to pack. She seemed in a bit of a hurry, glancing at her phone, yet still keeping that cheerful demeanor. What was she doing down at the docks, anyways? She didn’t seem like she worked in the area, and he hadn’t seen her before until a couple days ago. He’d been here so long he knew everyone. Just who was she?
    Matt
Matt leaned back, looking up at the ceiling. That was a tough question. How to tell her without spilling his whole sob story? That wasn’t exactly information he handed out. Not even the tabloids had that kind of dirt on him. He’d been very careful to keep his past a secret. But he felt he needed honesty if he was going to get anywhere with her.
The waitress came back for their orders, giving him a chance to think. Once he was gone, he turned back to Victoria, playing for lightheartedness.
“As a kid, I was obsessed with my dad’s old records. I’d listen to them for hours on end til I knew all the songs. Loved it so much I started singing on the street for change.” That much was public knowledge, his discovery had been a big to-do in the day. “My brother bought me this beat up old six string for my birthday one year, and I taught myself to play. Started writing my own songs. Actually made pretty good money. Then word got out and the label picked me up when I was seventeen. Twelve years later, here I am.” He spread his arms to emphasize his point. With a grin, he added, “Still have that guitar, too.”

Tony shrugged, a smile still on her face, "Well, you might know it's not worth anything... but some poor schmuck is going to believe me when I say it's worse a few hundred dollars and will willingly pay me $50 for it. So it's a win for me. That's $50 more in my pocket!" She turned back to the paste, pleased to note that it was beginning to soften... and trying to ignore the way his laugh had caused her to go all warm inside.

Edna had almost made it to the door before a hand around hers stopped her. She turned, not suspecting Maverick to be standing behind her. She melted a little at his words, her tense body relaxing slightly... until Murel walked up. Once the other woman was there Edna was tense all over again, the eyes behind her glasses blank. She glanced down at Murel's hand and contemplated not taking it, but... No muss, no fuss. So with a little sigh she shook Murel's hand, "Edna.Look, I don't understand why you guys are so worked up about Maverick. I get that it seems to be some sort of family secret... but you shouldn't be so hard on him." She gave Maverick a small smile, "He did manage to walk three blocks all on his own."
    Faye
Whip it out in the middle of... Once the true meaning of what Mariah had been saying hit her Faye was so shocked that she hand't been paying attention to what she was doing. She was already in the kitchen and stumbled, hands reaching out to brace on the counter, but instead knocked over a pile of what she assumed was clean dishes. Glass shattered, the shards cutting into her feet as she gasped and tried to step back, only making it worse.

    Amelia

Once she had gathered all of her things Amelia gave him a nod goodbye before leaving. She headed off to work, doing what she needed to do there. The next day Amelia showed up to the dock. Though this time she was not wearing her normal professional clothes. No today it was much more casual.
Today was her day off though she found herself unable to stay away. Quite simply she found the man too interesting to not have lunch with him. She just wanted to understand him more. He certainly was odd though.

How he had gotten into music was certainly a cutesy story. And honestly she did rather like it- it brining a smile to her face. So far he seemed that Matt was a very happy-go-lucky type of guy. That and that he was a very lucky man. "Well I would hope that you still have your very first guitar." Victoria told him. She leaned back a bit when the waitress came over and set the drinks down in front of them. She took hers and took a sip before continuing on. "What else do you do besides music though?"

“Fifty bucks?” He said, disbelieving. “I can’t let you take it for only fifty. It’s very good for threatening people with. It may not be worth much, money-wise, but the entertainment value I get from it makes it worth at least three hundred!” By that time the bacon was done, so he turned off the stove and set out some paper towels. Grabbing the tongs, he began transferring the still sizzling meat. The paper towels would soak up the excess grease and then he’d cut it up. By that time the pasta would be ready.
    Maverick, Max, and Murel
Murel paled at her words and immediately rounded on Max again. ”On his own?!” She screeched, “You said you walked him there!”
Max cowered. “Now, Murel, no need to get angry again. Don’t touch that knife! He made it there on his own, so why get angry? Peace, think peaceful thoughts! Gentle streams, calm meadows!”
Murel snarled, grabbing for a nearby napkin. “I’ll give you gentle streams! Think your gentle streams while I ram this down your throat! Something could have happened!”
Maverick grabbed her arms, bodily lifting her off the floor. Oof! He hadn’t done that in a long time, and either she was heavier, or he’d lost muscle…or both. “Enough, Murel. He did what he though was best. Thanks for worrying, but I’m getting better. I think I’m past the point of wandering into traffic, don’t you?”
Murel tilted her head, looking back at him. “But Mav, I just don’t want anything to happen to you.” She reached back to ruffle his shaggy hair like a dog. “I’m sorry. We all love you and couldn’t bear it if you were hurt again.” She wormed out of his grasp, hitting the floor lightly as she turned to hug him. “You’re my favorite!”
    Mariah
Mariah swore loudly as he heard the glass shatter. “Faye! Shit! Are you okay?” He rushed over to help her. Upon seeing her bloodied feet he swore once more. His floor wasn’t exactly sanitary, and neither had been those dishes. He picked her up, his boots crunching harmlessly on the glass as he carried her to the bathroom, setting her on the toilet. “Stay here,” he snapped, turning to reach under the sink for the first aid kit. “Now, let me see your feet.”

    Maddock
He was already there when she arrived, feeding the cats. He couldn’t decide if he was relieved or disappointed that she hadn’t been there, and was mad at himself for even having the debate. So it was when she did show up, dressed casually, he felt a flutter of elation in his heart that wasn’t all imp. It must have been her day off, to be wearing that outfit. He had to admit, she wore it nicely. His own day off was tomorrow. He wondered what she’d do when he didn’t show up? He was heading into Portland for the day, instead.
    Matt
“My most prized possession.” He smiled fondly at the thought of that old guitar. It was his most prized possession. He knew what Mark had done to get it for him, how he’d suffered and scrimped and saved. It had been his ticket out of that life, and his way to help his family out, too. He’d never let that thing go. He planned to be buried with it.
He thought about her next question. There were plenty of things he did outside of music, but he wasn’t sure he felt ready to share that part of his life with her yet. After all, despite being soulmates, they’d only just met that afternoon. “Not too much, actually,” he said. “Music is pretty much my life. Well, that and driving the guys crazy.” He laughed. “Did you see the look on Andy’s face when I mentioned Disneyland? Nearly gave him a heart attack!” He chuckled into his drink. “Works every time.”

    Amelia

Today Amelia had a to-go box from an Italian restaurant in her hands. Since it was her day off she decided to order out ziti and bring it to the dock. She sat down besides him and crossed her legs before looking out. Some of the cats came around her but she only shook her head and held up her hands in defense. "I didn't bring anything for you today." She told them before beginning to eat. The cats sat around her for a few minutes before going back to the mystery man.
    Victoria

Victoria let out a small laugh when he mentioned Disneyland. "Oh so you only mentioned going to Disneyland to bother the others then?" She joke with a small knowing smile on her lips. At the moment she was rather sure that Matt had wanted to go to the park. As far as she was concerned there was no reason why he wouldn't want to. Disneyland was extremely fun.
The waitress came back, setting the dishes down in front of the two of them before asking if they needed anything else. Once they both said they were fine she smiled before heading off to take care of her other tables.

He grunted, catching sight of the take out box. He couldn’t stand leftovers. Oh, he ate them, to be sure, he ate anything that was put in front of him. He’d gone hungry too many times not to. But that didn’t mean he liked what he ate. And leftovers…they just tasted wrong.
    Matt
“Oh, I really wanted to go! They never let me, since I only come to town for work and they want to wring as much music out of me when they can. Also, it’s no fun to go alone. You have to have someone with that you can try to make barf on all the rides!” He laughed merrily at the thought. He’d only been to Disneyland once, back when he’d first started out, on a whim. He’d been a teenager still enthralled by everything, and on his first day off, he’d asked Andy to take him to Disneyland. He still felt sorry for the poor man, it turned out he couldn’t handle the drops. “But he had a point, too,” he sighed. “I’m not a nobody anymore. Matt Maledire in Disneyland? The tabloids would be all over me.” He grimaced. Sometimes being a celebrity sucked.
