NBC's Constantine is a new show in the supernatural genre of shows. Based on the comic series Hellblazer, it follows the life of John Constantine, a bisexual magician and con man. John, his best friend Frank William "Chas" Chandler, and a mysterious woman named Zed travel to various places in search of answers to what the "rising darkness" will bring. What's on the way?

It's similar to Supernatural, but this is the TV adaptation of the comic that inspired Eric Kripke. It is absolutely fantastic, and in my humble opinion millions of times better than Supernatural ever was. There's LGBQTIA+ representation, the cast is fairly diverse, the amazing Zed, is a Latina woman who is written unstereotyped, which we need way more of.

So far there are only 8 episodes that can be watched on hulu and some may still be available on the official NBC website. The show returns from hiatus on January 15th! It's in danger of not being renewed for a season 2, which would be a huge loss, so give it a watch if you can, please!

I'm disappointed that this show got cancelled. Constantine is such a great character. So much potential lost. I was seriously hoping the CW would pick them up.
